Soul talk: Jalal says how can I forget that night, it was the worst night of mine, I couldn’t see the morning of that night.
Jalal comes back to reality (sitting beside Jodha), he caresses Jodha’s head and says this death was mine and you took it, my life is yours and now, I will live only with you, please open your eyes, he prays to God. Jodha moves her hand, Jalal is stunned.
Jalal sits in front of Jodha and says I want to say that you are not a little afraid even knowing that the bowl had poison in it, Jodha says I stopped you and that’s enough, Jalal says this is not a proper reason, Jodha says I tried to warn you, but you didn’t want to listen and see the truth yourself, so I had to take action on my own.
Jalal says what should I listen to and see, if you remember, I came to your room once, and you pushed me, anyways, I want to say that you Queens are difficult to understand, you say something else and do other things.
Jodha says in Benazir’s case,I told you directly but you didn’t listen to me, Jalal says I thought you were jealous which was your reasons for the allegations, I thought you were insecure to loose your position, you were jealous that she will become my special..

Ruqaiya is going inside Jodha’s room, but Moti stands in between and says sorry, but you aren’t allowed to go inside. Ruqaiya says what?? You a small Servant will stop me, you know whom you are talking to,right? Moti says sorry, but it’s Jalal’s order that he’s with Jodha and nobody will come inside. Ruqaiya looks on. Ruqaiya says okay, inform Jodha that I came to meet her, she feels bad.
Inside, Jalal ask why you didn’t like Benazir from day one? Jodha says I didn’t like her dressing sense, Jodha ask what you saw in her that you went flat on her? There are many beautiful women in the Women Quarters. Jalal says she was way beautiful that any of the women of the Women Quarters, so one could be impressed by her and look up at her beauty.
Jodha says what are you saying, she wasn’t that beautiful. Jalal says I swear she was… he puts hand on head, Jodha takes off his hand and says this is not funny, Jalal says I know she was poisonous but she was pretty. Jodha says what if she had bitten you? Jalal says that only one Rajvanshi can do so (biting), he looks at Jodha, they both start to laugh, Jalal says I am leaving.
Jodha says no and says I want to go out, Jalal says you can’t go out, Jodha insists, Jalal says why are you so stubborn? Jodha says because I am a Rajvanshi and I want to go out, Jalal ask why? She says I am tired of listening to the tales of the poisonous lady here and tell me, you are my husband, so you can’t take me outside, okay, I will go alone, she gets up and she’s about to fall, but Jalal holds her and says I told that you are not fine, Jodha says I want to go out.
Moti comes and says are you alright? Jalal says she wants to go out, Moti says I will take her, Jalal says no need, I will take her. He puts her hand around his shoulder and holds her to provide support.
Resham informs Maham Anga that Jalal takes off his slippers before going into Jodha’s room.Ruqaiya comes there and fumes saying that I shouldn’t have listened to you, Jodha once again defeated me. Maham says listen to new things.
Maham informs Ruqaiya that Jalal went to Jodha’s room and took off his slippers outside, he did spend very quality time in her room, he provided support to her, Ruqaiya shouts enough! I don’t want to listen to your bullshit!! She storms out.
Resham asks why she left like that? Maham says she is fighting inside, as one side, she is thankful to Jodha and on the otherside, she hates him for taking Jalal away from her. She has the fear of losing her position to Jodha, she loves Jalal and wants him, but her other side is thankful to Jodha.
Resham ask now what? Maham says a women war will begin and we have to take Ruqaiya on our side.
Jalal takes Jodha to the garden area and makes her sit, he sits there and looks down, Jodha sees him, they are both feeling awkward. Jodha says answer my one question, did you think that Benazir was beautiful? Jalal says she is still in your head, Jodha ask for the answer. Jalal says yes, she was beautiful. Jodha looks at him and she’s a little hurt, she looks down, while Jalal looks at her lovingly and smiles. They have an eyelock (in ankhon main female version plays)
Jodha feels cold, Jalal goes and brings fire heater, they both warm their hands, Jodha looks at him and thinks why didn’t you say same for me, I wish you feel same for me, Jalal looks at her and thinks I wish I could tell you what’s inside my heart, I wished Benazir never came into my life, I wished you didn’t back out from your position that Benazir used.
Jalal goes and comes with a shawl, he puts the shawl around Jodha while she is pleasantly surprised. Hamida and Jiji Anga sees them from the balcony and Hamida says they look so good together like they are calm after the storm went, I am happy Jalal is taking care of Jodha.
On the otherside, Ruqaiya sees them and burns with jealousy. In jail, Sharifudden ask his man to ask all his men to be prepared, as I am coming out soon, the man ask how? He says now that Jodha is save and Benazir is gone, then it’s time for me to come out, he laughs like a mad fellow.
In Court, Jalal ask where is Abul Mali, why is he not caught yet?? Atgah says we are trying, a soldier informs that Mirza has come back after winning the war, Jalal ask to bring him. He informs that mirza went to see Jodha, Jalal says he has a soft heart.
In Jodha’s room, Maan Singh is sad that he couldn’t save Jodha, Jodha says I am fine. Mirza says I knew it, that there was some poisonous lady here, there was something fishy about her, her extra sweet nature and that letter. Jodha says leave it, I am proud of you both that you won the war.
Jalal comes there, Mirza says sorry for not meeting him firsr and coming to the women quarters. Hamida says you came here with my permission to meet your Mother. Jalal says you both came here to meet Jodha, as she is one’s sisters and the other’s sister-in-law and we are family, so I have no issue, he says I am happy that everything is good now, so I want to announce something, so you all should come to the Court, he ask Jodha if she can, then she should also come, she agrees.
In the hall, Jalal announces the victory of Maan Singh and Mirza. Maan says Mirza acted too brave and he is very clever. Mirza says Maan Singh is not less, he even saved me once. Jalal says his father saved me once and now you saved my brother thank you. Maan says it’s my duty and we Rajvanshis fulfill it till death, Jalal says I know and looks at Jodha.
Jalal says Ruqaiya behaved strongly, so I am giving her the Chanderi property. Ruqaiya says I can’t take it, as Chanderi was the place of Bairam Khan and it’s rightful owner is Rahim, so it should be given to him, Jalal says you did justice once again, he gives the property to Salima on behalf of Rahim.
Jalal says to Jodha that I want to ask something from you, I am sorry, you told me many times, but I didn’t listen to you and you set example of being a dutiful Rajvanshi and I cant give you any gift, as it will be an insult to what you did, you risked your life for me. Jalal says;
I am making a City which will be for you for your bravery, It’s name will be FATEHPUR which means WIN OVER EVERY EVIL.
Jodha says It’s a special gift thank you. Maham Anga ask Ruqaiya to see them, Ruqaiya says Jalal is just returning back the favors that Jodha did.
Jalal says I wished that if Jodha recovers fully, then I will go to Priest Salim Chisti in Sikri, earlier on, I wasn’t able to go because someone attacked with arrows, he looks at Jodha and smiles. He says but things are better done at the right time, so I am going now Hamida says it will be good if your life partner, your three special Queens will go with you.
Ruqaiya is in her room and seemed very upset, she remembers Maham‘s words how Jodha is taking her place in Jalal’s life. Resham offers her Hukka/Shisha. She screams at her for her absurd idea!!
