Jodha says I can’t put on this henna, this is not my right. Hamida says what happened Jodha? Jodha says as much as I have right on Salim, Ruqaiya and Salima do have a right on him. They will put on the henna as well.
Mann Baisa sees Anarkali and says come here, put henna on my hands. Anarkali puts henna on her hand.
Aram Bano comes and slips over the henna, it gets messed up. Anarkali says I am sorry. Mann Baisa says the henna is on your hands too, you are soon going to be married as well. Anarkali says I am going to clean it.
Jodha looks at her and says in heart, this is so difficult, the same henna would be in Anarkali’s hands if Jalal had given the nod.
Salim sees Anarkali, they are both in tears. The song ‘rabba is pyar main’ plays in the background. Anarkali leaves.
Jalal comes to Jodha and ask why did you call me? Jodha thinks I called him so that he can make me eat, but he is showing ego, Jodha says nothing, Jalal says I don’t have time, he is about to leave, but a Servant comes and says I have brought food, Jodha says I don’t want to eat, leave, Jalal ask her to keep food there and leave, the Servant put the food there and leaves.
Jalal ask Jodha why you are not eating? I am miffed with you as you made me wait alot last night, Jodha says what’s my fault? Aram Babo was not going from the room, Jalal says okay, I am ready to be fine, but I have one condition, that when you eat, you will have to feed me, Jodha says I can’t do it, Jalal says you are showing ego? Jodha says I really can’t feed you food, she shows him the henna on her hands, she says I called you so that you can feed me, Jalal says it’s beautiful, I will never want it to be destroyed, I will feed you food, they both sit and Jalal makes her eat with his hands.
Jalal and Jodha are sleeping in the room, someone comes there in veil and attacks Jalal, he attacks Jalal with dagger, it turns out to be Jodha’s dream, she gets afraid.
Jalal wakes up and ask what happened? Jodha ask are you fine? Jalal says I am fine, I think you saw a bad dream, Jodha says I feel like something bad is going to happen, Jalal says no, it’s such a good situation, our Son is getting married, nothing to worry about, he makes her sleep in his arms.
In the morning, Jodha comes to Mann Baisa’s ubtan ceremony and says I will apply ubtan to my niece, Anarkali is there too, Mann Baisa’s Mother says you can attend this wedding from both side, she is your niece and also your daughter-in-law, Jodha says I will fulfill both, Jodha sit to apply ubtan to Mann Baisa, she glances at Anarkali, Anarkali stealthily wipes her tears.
Jalal is with Jodha, Jodha throws turmeric powder on his dress, he gets miffed, Jodha says I will wipe it, I was just joking, Jalal says you have started this game, he puts turmeric on her face, Jodha says now, I have to bath again, I will not leave you! She runs behind him to apply it on his face, Jalal says no, I have to go to Court, don’t apply it, Jodha gets angry. Jalal says don’t be angry, he applies turmeric on his face himself and ask is it fine now? Jodha applies more and says now, it’s fine, both laugh and hug each other.
Anarkali makes Mann Baisa ready, she says you are looking like a Moon, very pretty, Jodha comes and says you are right, she says to Mann Baisa that as blessing, I have brought scarf of my marriage, I want you to wear it, I pray that your marriage is blissful, she gives the scarf to Anarkali and leaves.
Anarkali makes Mann Baisa wear that scarf, she recalls how Salim said that Anarkali, you will be my life partner, she imagines herself wearing that scarf, Mann Baisa ask why you have tears in your eyes? Anarkali says today, my best friend is going to be married, so it’s tears of happiness, she says only anklet is missing, Mann Baisa says I don’t know where it is.
Anarkali gives her own anklet to her and recalls how Salim gifted it to her, she says this is a gift from my side to you, don’t think it’s of a Dancer, but take it as a friend’s gift. Mann Baisa says don’t talk like this, your gifts are lucky for me, remember when you gave your peacock jewelry to me? Salim liked it and also liked me that day, I am entering a new life and this anklet is a blessing for me, Anarkali makes her wear it.
Jalal comes to Salim and says that soon, you will be proud of your decision, I am very much happy today, the most precious day of a father’s life is when his baby is born and when his child gets married, this is my most happiest day, he makes Salim wear the turban, he says I am sure Mann Baisa will be lucky for you, Jalal says you are looking very nice, congrats for your marriage, he leaves.
Prayer starts, Hindu Priest ask Bhagwan and his wife to make Jalal and Jodha wear garland, they do it, Madhav sees it with anger.
Aram Bano comes to Jodha and says I want to talk to you, Jodha says not now, Aram Bano says I want to talk right now, she says the marriage is very nice, I want to get married too, all laughs, Jodha says then you have to leave this Palace, Aram Bano says I will keep my groom in the Palace only.
Salima says you are right, but when groom comes here, then he will ask for your toys, he will take it, Aram Bano says then I don’t want to marry! All laughs, Jodha thanks Salima for saving her from Aram.
The Priest ask all to go to the Temple’s side.
Jodha is going towards the Temple and finds Madhav talking with some people, she thinks what are they doing here? She comes to Madhav and ask them to go to the Temple, time is passing for the ritual, she leaves.
Madhav goes with his men to the terrace. Madhav says to his men and says I have arranged gift for Salim, this will be the last gift of his life.
Jodha is going and finds tulsi leaves missing from the plate, she goes to the terrace to take it and finds Madhav talking to his men, Madhav says to his men that go to Salim’s room and kill him and the other will kill Jalal in the temple! Jodha is shocked listening to it.
Jodha comes to the terrace, Madhav says to his men that work should happen on time, go to Salim’s room and kill him and the other will go to the Temple and kill Jalal.
Jodha is stunned to listen to this and thinks to tell Jalal, but it will take time to reach the Temple, Jalal has many people around him, but Salim is alone in his room, she goes to save him.
Shahabuddin finds the Soldier sleeping, he opens his cell and starts leaving, the Soldier wakes up and ask how you came out? He tries to stop Shahabuddin, but Shahabuddin kills him.
Madhav is going to Salim’s room, Jodha is going there, she ask a Servant to inform Jalal to come to Salim’s room.
Shahabuddin comes into the Jungle, he thinks Murad told me that he will be here.
Rahim is looking for Shahabuddin along with the Soldiers in the Jungle, Rahim finds Shahabuddin running and ask him to surrender, but Shahabuddin runs, Rahim runs behind him.
Murad comes there and finds Rahim running behind Shahabuddin, Murad thinks what is he doing here? Shahabuddin finds Murad and comes to him, he says I knew you will free me, Murad says yes, I have come to free you, he kills Shahabuddin, Shahabuddin dies, Murad laughs and says you are a fool, how can you forget that politics is all about betraying!
Rahim and the Soldiers comes there, Rahim finds Shahabuddin dead, he ask Murad what you are doing here? Murad says I saw him running and came behind him, I tried to stop him, but he didn’t listen to me, he is a betrayer, so you should celebrate his death.
Madhav comes to Salim and says I have come to gift you something, Salim says what’s so urgent? Madhav says you will like it, Madhav thinks I will give you death in gift! Madhav shows him sword, Salim says it’s very nice, Madhav attacks Salim with it, but Salim tucks in, Salim holds him and ask have you gone mad??? Madhav says I can’t let more Mughals trap Rajvanshi women!
Madhav throws Salim on tje bed and he’s about to kill Madhav, but Jodha puts her sword his way and ask him to stop it, else he will be dead! Madhav says I am not afraid of my death, but I won’t let Mughals play with our respect! He is about to kill Salim, but Jodha stops him again.
Salim overpowers Madhav and snatch the sword from him.
Jalal and Maan Singh comes there, Jalal says I won’t leave you! Jodha says don’t do it, a Sister will not be able to see the death of her brother on her marriage, it’s a good day, don’t do anything wrong, Jalal ask to put Madhav in jail! Madhav is taken from there.
Bhagwan says I am ashamed of him, Jalal says it’s not your fault, Jalal says to Jodha that you have given me one more reason to respect you more, he ask all to come to the Temple.
All reach the marriage venue, Salim and Mann Baisa sit in the Temple, the Priest ask them to do varmala ritual (exchanging of garlands), Mann Baisa puts garland around Salim’s neck, then Salim puts garland around Mann Baisa’s neck, he finds Anarkali standing behind Mann Baisa and looks at her sadly, Jodha notices it, Anarkali leaves from there.
The Priest ask Mann Baisa’s mother to do ghatbandhan (tying of the knot), she does it, the Priest ask Salim to apply vermilion on her forehead, Salim applies it, they take rounds, all are happy, Salim and Mann Baisa touches Jalal’s feet and takes their blessing, then the Muslim Priests comes and does the Nikah ritual, he ask Mann Baisa do you agree to marry Salim? She agrees. The Priest then ask Salim do you agree to this marriage? Salim agrees.
Voiceover says all were going according to Jalal, after marriage, Jalal was enjoying with his Ministers. Mann Baisa says to Jalal that the wedding was grand, Jalal says it was the marriage of the next King so it had to be big.
Fazal ask Birbal to tell some joke, all cheer for him, Birbal tells them joke, all enjoy it, Jalal says it was a weird story, all are laughing.
Bhagwan says I am ashamed of Madhav, Jalal says forget it, all is well that ends well, you should be happy that the marriage has happened.
Jodha ask Moti where is Jalal? She says he’s with the Ministers, Jalal comes there, Moti leaves, Jodha says you are looking happy? Jalal says you seem happy too, Jodha says I am happy, but was worried because of Madhav, Jalal ask her to not tell this to Mann Baisa, as she will get worried, I am happy that our children got married, I don’t want them to start their life with bad news, I asked Bhagwan to not tell Mann Baisa too, he says I am very happy today, Jodha says I can see it and also it’s smelling from your mouth, you drank wine?
Jalal ask Jodha to not stop him today, his Son married today, so he wants to enjoy, he ask her to drink one or two glass too, Jodha says I don’t need it, I know how to be happy without it, he makes Jalal sit on the bed, he says you tell difficult Hindi words, Jodha says you are making fun of me? Jalal says I have learnt it too, like if I say in Hindi that I love you, then I will say “hume apse adhik prem hai”, Jodha smiles, Jalal says I have told you how much I love you many times in my language, he then tells in gujrati how much he loves her, then tells it in english, Jodha laughs and ask him to sleep now, Jalal says I LOVE YOU, Jodha says I know, he ask her to sit beside him, she sit, he says remember there was a time when you used to not allow me to come near you.
Jalal lies on bed, he is inebriated, Jodha sit beside him, Jalal says I love my Salim, he is my Son and I always want to show him the right way, but for that, I have to become strict, I donwt want to hurt him, but I want him to be successful, Mann Baisa is a very nice girl, I am sure she will win Salim’s heart for sure and one day, there will be love in between them too, everything will be fine. Jodha ask him to sleep, she lies her head on his head, both sleep close to each other.
Jodha says to Jalal that all are happy with this marriage, I hope Salim will be happy too, Jalal says Mann Baisa is a nice girl, she will teach love to Salim, like you made me learn love, Jodha says we should do something to give them a good start to life, they should spend more time with each other, but not here, if they keep them in the Palace, then Salim will be only Crown Prince and Mann Baisa will be daughter-in-law, they will not get time to understand each other, they should go far and alone, so that they can spend quality time with each other, Jalal says it’s a good idea, I will think of where to send them.
In court, Jalal ask to starts the proceedings, Birbal tells him that Kashmir’s Princess is marrying, they have sent invitation, we have good relationship with them, so we should send someone there, Jodha says sorry to interrupt, she says I think we should send Salim and Mann Baisa to Kashmir, they will spend time with each other there, Jalal says good idea, he ask Salim.
Salim says I like to be only in the Palace, Mann Baisa is new here, so she should get used to here, Jodha says she will have time to adjust here, you should spend time with her and moreso, we have good relationship with Kashmir, so you should go.
Jalal says Jodha is right, you should go, Salim says your order will be followed, Jalal ask him to pack his bags, Salim leaves.
Bhagwan says we should leave too, Jalal says when we come to Amer, you serve us a lot, so let us serve you too, Bhagwan says this is mydaughter’s house, it won’t be good if we stay here, Jalal agrees.
The English Ambassador comes there and reads the message of the Queen, it reads that;
England wants to develop business relationship with the Mughal empire, they want to send things in India and they need Land and market for it, also they want you people to export spices and we need your port to do shipments, and they are ready to pay tax for it.
Jalal says we will think about it, then will answer. The Ambassador says we hope this is a new era of the Mughals and England, the Ambassador leave, Jalal thinks.
Jalal and Jodha are having food, Jodha says it’s a good food, Jalal says you make good food, Jodha says it’s about good spice and their taste, she says these english people will buy our spices in low prices and then sell it in higher price in foreign countries, why are you allowing them to use our ports? Jalal says we develop more spices than our use, so its better to export them, Jodha says why doesn’t Mughal government take over this matter? This way, even farmers will get good price for their things, Jalal ask who will handle this duty?
Jodha says me, I will do this work, I know about spices a lot, Jalal says you proved again that you deserve to be Queen of India, don’t export so much spice that my food gets less spice too, Jodha laughs.
In Court, all are waiting for Jalal, Hamida ask Ruqaiya why did Jalal call us here? Ruqaiya says don’t know, Salima says I think jodha must know why Jalal called us here? Jodha says don’t tease me, Salima says it must be a matter related to Jodha, Ruqaiya says Jalal doesn’t see anyone other than Jodha, he forgets sometimes, that he has other Wives too.
Jalal comes there, he says I have something important to discuss, he ask Todar that if we agree to do spice business with the English men, then how much profit will we get? Todar calculates and says 1,000,000 coins, Jalal says if we take over this business and send spices in our ships, we will buy from farmers then sell it to the English men, then how much profit? Todar says 3,000,000 to 4,000,000 coins.
Jalal smiles and says then why should we incure loss? So I order to take exports in our hands and will handle it, he ask to send message to the farmers, Fazal says who will handle this export area? Jalal says Jodha will handle it, it’s her idea, she wants to give profit to farmers, he ask Todar to help her in this work, Jodha smiles, Jalal looks at her and smiles, Ruqaiya fumes in anger.
