Shiv and DD are sitting on the Office floor.
Shiv says he doesn’t know until when they’ll have to sit here.
She gets a scarf and ties it around the wound on his arm then thanks him for risking his life to save a total Stranger. Shiv stares at her smilingly and a background song plays… He thanks her. He says he considers her a good friend.
She says she can’t hear any more noise so maybe the rioters have left. DD hears the Police jeep siren. Shiv says he will go and see. DD says she will accompany him.
They decide to go out and check.
At home, it is announced on TV that a Woman who was visiting a jewelry shop was shot.
Grandmother panics, thinking it might be DD and the others console her.
DD and Shiv are walking along the road and ask someone about the riots on the way. He says the way is clear.
Shiv says DD’s Car must have been destroyed in the riot.
She asks how they will get home?
He sees a bicycle lying on the road and DD says she won’t get on it!
He tells her to think of her family and how worried they would be or they could go back to the Shop then. DD thinks for a while and holds the Cycle. She picks up the bicycle and gets on it. She asks him to ride and sits infront of him. Shiv asks her to wear seat belt. DD warns him not to make her fall!
Shiv rides it and complains that she’s heavy. He starts singing.
Shiv rides the Cycle while the song Aye Mere Dil Ke Chain… plays. He stops the Cycle and says he’s not fit as he looks like.
Grandmother is still crying.
Sid and Roshni are now home.
DD arrives and everyone is relieved.
Sid sees the scarf on Shiv’s arm and asks what happened?
DD says she she did it when she thought he was a rioter.
Shiv says he’s going to rest.
DD leaves the living room too and Grandmother says she’s going to tell DD the truth about Shiv not having amnesia!
Sid tells her to think of what she’s doing which will be the exact same thing DD did to him and Roshni.
She says we can talk and solve the matter, so why are you complicating things? He brings her to the room. Grandmother sees DD’s concern towards Shiv.
DD is tending to Shiv’s wound in his room.
Roshni and Mona are with her.
Sid is standing in the doorway with Grandmother.
He tells her to just look at DD who is obviously still in love with her husband. He says with this one truth, everything will be finished. He asks her to think about his ex Mother-in-law’s happiness.
Grandmother says some old wounds don’t heal and become like poison which should be thrown out.
DD gives Shiv a drink of turmeric and milk.
Shiv refuses to drink it, but DD insists and makes him drink it fully. She turns and looks at Grandmother and asks if she needs anything? Grandmother who entered the room to tell DD the truth about Shiv, has a change of heart. She says she doesn’t need anything and leaves. DD says she will get more ice freezed as they need it.
DD and Mona leave the room.
Roshni thanks her dad for saving her Mother.
Shiv laughs and reminds her that DD is his Wife and his priority will be to protect the the family. He says he accepts that he ran away from his responsibility, but he will always protect her.
Roshni asks why he didn’t bring Money the day he and her Mother had the argument that led to their separation? She asks if he was bad? Sid looks on.
Shiv says he brought the Money home, that day DD left. He left the Teacher’s union, but it was too late.
He was shocked when he heard about his Son’s death and he went back to the house, but DD had left and he looked for her for months.
He says when he later found out that DD had opened a Jewelry shop, he didn’t have any Money and when he later had, he felt time had passed and people would think he wanted to come back because of DD’s luxurious lifestyle.
Roshni starts crying and says he should have come back.
Sid says he and Roshni will bring back all the fun and happiness that her Parents have missed out on all these years; they will fulfil their duties and make DD confess her love for Shiv.
Roshni hugs her father and cries.
Simran is trying to call Sid on the Phone.
Krutika assures her that he is safe because Raj just spoke the Police Commissioner who said Sid and Roshni were not allowed into the area where the riot was taking place.
She asks if Simran understands why it’s important for their plan to be successful?
Simram tells her to call the lady and make sure everything is ready!
Krutika tells herself that Roshni threatened her, so she will get back at her!
Roshni’s Grandmother is in the living room thinking about the things Sid said.
Kesar asks if everything is okay?
Roshni sits with her Grandmother and asks to speak with her.
Grandmother says it’s too late to talk to her and tells Roshni that She’s angry at them for lying. Roshni says she wants Mom to be happy and asks if she did not see her happy since dad came? Grandmother says she has made a decision to tell DD everything about Shiv not having amnesia!
Roshni begs her not to.
They hear someone humming and go to the Kitchen.
They see DD cooking happily.
She says she felt like cooking.
Roshni tells the help to set the table.
DD tells Roshni to call Mona and her father to the table.
Grandmother and Roshni are shocked.
Roshni goes to Grandmother to beg her not to say anything to DD.
Grandmother says she can’t agree to it.
Roshni phones Sid and tells him to hurry up as her Grandmother has said she will tell DD the truth.
Roshni’s Grandmother enters DD’s room and sees her singing happily. She says she wants to talk to her.
DD says she also wants to talk to her.
She says she thinks life may be giving her a second chance, she was sure it was over with her and Shiv, and had made peace with living a life of solitude but then, she came face to face with Shiv again, but when he came back after losing his memory, she felt she can be happy again by forgiving Shiv and start afresh. She feels like fate wants them to be together and she has noticed Roshni is happy when she spends time with her dad, so she will like to give the marriage a shot.
She begs her Mother to give it a try for her sake even though she doesn’t like Shiv.
Grandmother says if she believes Shiv will make her happy, then she will never stand in her way.
DD hugs her Mother.
Roshni and Sid are in the doorway, watching. They get happy seeing that and thinks that their mission is completing.
The next Morning, Simran and Krutika are at a restaurants, interviewing potential partners for Sid, but the girls they meet are a disappointment, as she doesn’t like any of the ladies.
Roshni’s Grandmother is in her room, praying.
Shiv enters the room and says he couldn’t fulfil his promise to her, so he will leave.
She tells him to sit and says she can’t stand seeing him around the house, but her daughter is still so much in love with him.
She warns that if he dares hurt her again, he will see the worst of her!
Shiv holds her hand happily and vows never to hurt his family again. He says he prayed his whole life for this day and says he will keep the family reunited. Grandmother says she still hates him, but she cannot see DD unhappy, so if he wants to start afresh, he should not break DD’s heart. He promises that he will not and he won’t let DD and Roshni complain.
Grandmother says she will keep an eye on him!
Yash and Samaira are on a video call with Yash’s Sister in Paris.
Her kids make fun of Samaira’s nose.
Their Mother cautions them.
Yash says they are coming to Paris.
His Sister says they won’t be in Paris at that time.
Samaira says they can always come at a later date.
She secretly thanks God for saving her from meeting the Children.
Mona, Roshni and her Grandmother are going over to Samaira and Yash’s house for a party (dinner). Grandmother asks Roshni when DD would come? Roshni says Kesar will bring her there from Office and not to worry.
When the leave, Sid tells himself that everyone has left the house and soon, Mum and Dad will be alone.
DD arrives and sees a dark living room.
She sees Shiv who burns his hand when trying to light a match. She asks if he created this ample enivornment. He says yes. She apologises and asks where everyone is?
He says they attended a party at Sam and Yash’s.
She says no one told her.
She says she will make him something to eat. He says he has prepared dinner for her and to freshen up.
After DD leaves to go and freshen up, Sid comes out to meet Shiv and tells him to go on with their plan and manage alone now.
Simran tells Krutika that she didn’t like any of the girls they saw and she’s sure they will be as much trouble as Roshni, so she should cancel the girls lined up for tomorrow!
Krutika asks herself how She’s going to get rid of Roshni now?
Shiv sets the table and serves DD some wine.
She asks where he learnt to cook?
He says he has a feeling he used to cook before his memory loss.
DD says he is a very good cook!👍
He asks what she said and she covers it up.
