Five years later, Sameer is married to Srishti and Preeta looks after the Luthras as well as her daughter.
Rakhi recalls Rishabh and Karan’s moment after she observes Kavya’s actions. She gets emotional to realise that Karan and Preeta’s daughter Kavya is as mischievous as Karan.
At Kavya’s behest, Preeta calls Rishabh repeatedly to scold him for skipping his breakfast. Rishabh, in the middle of an important business meeting, gets embarrassed due to Preeta’s call. She later explains to Rishabh that Kavya had gotten her to scold him.
Kareena criticises Rakhi’s decision of disturbing Rishabh but she reminds Kareena that the family team is equally important.
Rishabh tells Preeta that he intends to carve his niche as a Hotelier in the Heritage Hotel industry. He then thanks the Bankers for approving his business plans and leaves for a Heritage property auction.
King Rajshiv Rathore, the owner of the Castle, arrives at the auction and everyone receives him warmly. Rishabh makes the highest possible bid and then introduces himself to the King. King Rajshiv tries to test Rishabh’s knowledge about him and his family. Rishabh impresses him with his homework and even mentions about King’s daughter, Ranjana.
A participant at the auction calls his boss, Arjun Sooryavanshi, an NRI Hotelier residing in London. Arjun threatens to fire him if he loses to get King Rajshiv’s Castle for him! He places a lucrative offer to save his job but Rishabh makes an offer that is less than the bid. Rishabh explains the details of his deal, which impresses everyone.
Upset with this, Arjun prepares for his engagement to Nidhi Hinduja.
Rishab shake hands with the Raja while everyone is clapping when the person comes questioning why did he make this decision when his bid was the highest? Raja jee leaves explaining since he liked the deal of Luthra jee.
Rishab coming to stand in front of him explains that sometimes, money is not the only solution and it can be achieved because of the love that exists in ones heart, Rishab reveals how he realized Raja jee was only selling his Palace because of some personal reasons but had no intent otherwise, so he then gave a deal which assured Raja jee still regains some Ownership of the Palace.
Arjun is with Nidi where they get engaged, he then asks her for the permission to dance to which she agrees, they both start performing on the stage giving such a an equisetic dance p[performance that all the guests including her sister are just looking at them, Arjun gets a call during their performance when Nidi gets worried so he explains that it is important, Arjun asks what happened when he reveals that they lost the bid since Rishab Luthra won the bid, he is shocked when Arjun says he is fired but the person questions what is his mistake as he tried his best and then did all he could but Rishab Luthra is the only one who could have won this bid, Arjun scolds him saying that he is angered with such losers like him and he can go on a leave of six months without pay that was written in the contract!
Arjun calls mentioning he needs the next flight to India, Nidhi hearing this immediately refuses throwing the phone, her sister exclaims this is what she was worried about but is glad that they both got engaged, Nidhi exclaims she cannot let this happen as they are about to get married in fifteen day and she wants to make sure that her this wedding is better then the last one, Arjun informs that his Ex-CEO from India challenged that even he could not have beaten Rishab in the bid, and she knows he was working on the palace since a very long time so nothing that he has his eyes on can be taken by anyone else, Nidhi agrees giving him just seven days revealing he is her Hero.
Arjun is sitting in the lounge looking at the details of Rishab when he exclaims that Rishab seems a really nice guy but Preeta is just a typical housewife even when she is the director of the business, Arjun leaves to get on the plane thinking they both do not even know that he is coming to ruin their desires and set up his own empire.
Arjun gets off in India where the person is waiting for him, he gets a call from Nidhi who says he ha sonly six days left when he mentions their deal was for seven days but she replies that today has already passed and he must come back ass soon as possible, Arjun informs that Rishab seems really nice guy but his mind is sharp while Preeta is a typical housewife who cares only about her family.
Arjun is standing on the corner when the person signals he is bringing the car but Arjun signals him that he himself is coming so starts walking but in the meantime gets in an accident falls hitting the steel pillar, the person is shocked.
Preeta immediately turns with an immense feeling that something is wrong, she feels if Kavya is fine and so she rushes to the bedroom but isn’t able to connect, she then runs out to find Kavya playing with Ganesh, Preeta wonders then why is her heart in such tremendous pain that something is wrong, Preeta smiles looking at her playing.
Arjun is rushed to the hospital where Manish is really worried, he wonders what can he do now so calls the CEO informing that Arjun sir met with an accident and is really serious, he calls the CEO revealing Arjun sir got in an accident and is admitted in the city hospital, the doctors are busy in operating. He assures of coming to the hospital and even agrees to inform Anjali. She asks Mr Agarwal what happened when he informs that Arjun sir got in an accident and is admitted in the city hospital, she tries calling her sister but she doesnot answer.
Anjali realizes that she had to leave for a conference in Canada, Anjali prays for the better health of Arjun brother-in-law.
The Doctors ask the Nurse to call the senior Doctor as this case is really complicated.
Sameer enters the house asking Shristhi to bring his clothes for the prayer, she questions if he would also ask everyone for clothes before the wedding, Shristhi and Sameer both curse how they got married to each other, Dadi along with Kareena both come exclaiming they always keep fighting.
Kareena exclaims they always keep fighting and don’t need any sort of reason, she exclaims nothing can become of them both no matter how many prayers are held.
Rakhi assures that everything would be fine, Dadi mentions she is saying this so that she once again becomes a grandmother, Rakhi informs she wishes there should be another child in their house so Kavya becomes the elder sister. Kareena mentions she would have arranged for Rishab and Preeta to perform, Rakhi replies this prayer is only for Sameer and Shristhi since both Preeta and Rishab know how to handle their relation, she stands exclaiming now that Kareena has said it, they can have the pooja done in pairs, Preeta standing at the door wonders what is happening to her that she is feeling so tensed?
Rakhi goes to pick her mobile but immediately gets tensed seeing the mobile, Preeta questions what happened, Rakhi reveals Pandit Vashish is coming, Shristhi asks what is there to be tensed about since was someone else coming before, Rakhi exclaims he did not tell that he is himself coming, Kritika also asks why are they all so tensed, Rakhi reveals that he is not just a normal person but a really great Pandit jee, he came when she was about to get married with Mahesh and now is coming today. They reveal he predicted their elder son would be born after three years and the second will be born after that, Kritika mentions there is nothing special as anyone can make such predictions.
Kareena stops her saying they know what they are talking about, she explains the Priest is the one who said that two Sisters would come into this house as the daughters-in-law, this is why she got tensed after seeing them the first time but even then, both of them have become a part of their family.
Preeta mentions this is a really good thing as if the Priest is such a great person then why are they so tensed? Rakhi informs it is because he is also really strict. Kavya asks what does it mean, so Rakhi reveals this means he is really strict and they should not argue with him. Kavya runs away.
The Priest is walking towards the Luthra mansion, he after reaching the entrance greets them all, they all turn to see who has arrived, they all greet him back as he enters the house.
The Priest enters when Rakhi rushes to take his blessings, he at once asks where is his Son? Rakhi is stunned and even Preeta gets tensed.
The Doctors are operating when the Nurse mentions the Senior Doctor is coming as soon as possible, the Doctor explains she knows the injury is at the back side of his head which is linked with memory and also they need to inject him with blood as there has been a considerable loss.
Rakhi informs that Sameer is her son and is married with Shristhi, she wanted to hold a peace prayer. The Priest signals her to stop which causes everyone to be tensed, there is a gust of wind and the bells start ringing.
The Priest walks inside the house after looking around, he walks straight to take his position, the entire Luthra family also sits beside him as he starts preparing for the pooja. There is thunder because of which the bells of the Temple once again start ringing, the wind even causes the oil lamps to flicker.
The Priest noticing everything and asks Rakhi where is her Son? Dadi explains they have kept this prayer for Sameer and Shristhi so that their relationship is strong, Rakhi explains this prayer is also for her elder Son Rishab and Preeta. The Priest asks where is he, Kareena reveals that he is busy in a meeting since their business associates have arrived. The Priest signals her to stop, he instructs Rakhi to bring something which his Son owns.
Preeta stands to bring it but she’s scolded by the Priest who questions why she’s standing from the prayer, he asks if they all know the pattern of performing the prayer, so they should ask someone else to bring it.
Kavya comes asking if she can bring it as she knows all the things of her father, Rakhi agrees asking her to hurry up.
Kavya rushing intot he room opens the drawer from which she takes out the bangle of Karan which Rishab picked from the belongings at the time of the accident. She rushing hands it to the Priest before leaving.
The Priest starts the rituals with the bangle and he after reciting some Mantras throws something over it that causes the holy fire to rise, causing everyone to be scared, he once again starts reciting some Mantras with which he is able to see the marriage of Karan and Preeta. The Priest is tensed so he once again throws something in the holy fire and he sees the ritual when Karan applied the vermilion, and they both got married, he is constantly looking at it.
The Doctors turn off the light, when Arjun starts reacting and he is shivering badly, the Doctor gets tensed wondering why is he still reacting so decides to consult the Senior Doctor.
The Priest after concluding the prayer exclaims that it has ended, he exclaims it is something like a magic since they would have a lot of good effect and the Couple that is still away would come closer, he instructs both the Couples to come and have the ribbon tied on their hands.
Rakhi informs that her elder son Rishab is not present but the Priest explains that he is going to tie it on the bangle which Kavya gave him while tieing the other on the wrist of Preeta.
The Priest blesses them both before finally tying it on the bangle that Kavya gave him.
Arjun is also restless on the operation bed, the bells of the Temple start ringing with the same gust of wind in the entire house as the Priest continues to tie the ribbon, everyone is worried about what is going on, they do not notice that the bangle belongs to Karan.
Kareena, Dadi along with everyone else do not understand anything, the belongings of the house start falling including the vase which worries the Priest who exclaims the prayer has ended, he mentions the winds have turned their course and a big storm is approaching so they must close the windows, the entire family rushes to protect themselves. The Priest exclaims this is not a good sign and the storm is not a normal one, these are the indication of a big storm which is approaching.
The Priest turns to see the garland on the photo of Karan, he questions how can they all do such a thing as they did what was not supposed to happen and caused the wrong to happen! He rushes tearing the garlands from the photo of Karan questioning what is all this?? The Priest throws it in anger when Rishab manages to catch it, he asks what sort of behavior is this, questioning why is he so rude and asks who is he?
Rakhi requests him to stop talking as he is a Senior Priest, Rishab replies he doesn’t care about his position but how did he dare take off the garland from Karan’s photo? The Priest questions why did he put the garland on this photo and did they not know it is only put on the photo of those people who are dead, they all have committed a grave sin and it is not fine!
Rishab asks if he tried to know the reason they put the funeral garland? Rishab explains there was an accident after which Karan lost his life but the Priest replies that he is still alive and, in this world! The entire Luthra family is shocked hearing this news.
Arjun lying in the hospital bed is really tensed, he is constantly shivering with pain and so yells the name of Preeta, requesting her to not kill him!
The Doctor along with the Nurse rush into the room exclaiming he is still not calm even after they gave him the sedative, the Doctor once again injects it so he calms down.
The Priest reveals that the boy is still alive, Preeta questions what is he saying as it is not possible. Rakhi mentions she did not want to hurt him but feels he is mistaken as Karan was her younger Son and Preeta was his Wife but he lost his life in an accident. The Priest mentions that he is sure that Karan is still alive as he saw Preeta with him in the prayer, and only those who are alive are seen in the prayer.
Rishab explains that he is not wrong as they were a Couple, Kareena reveals that Karan died which is why they got Preeta married to Rishab. The Priest mentions this should not have happened since her husband is still alive.
Preeta runs away when the Priest asks her to stop, he following her explains that she must think about him as only then he would come back, he would follow the thoughts that she has of him and even if the whole world tries, they cannot separate him from her. Preeta runs into the room crying.
Rishab standing in front of the Priest questions if he feels this is a joke, they are the family of Karan and they all are saying he’s dead but the Priest is still not believing him, Rishab tells that he doesn’t know how much time it took them to help Preeta once again become normal, he can ask his Grandma and Mother, so what did he get while once again opening the wounds of an already grieving woman?? The Priest is stunned.
Preeta is crying in her room while Arjun is in the hospital.
