Roshni bends to pick up her bangles and Vermillion.
Sid returns and asks what’s going on?
The Rival Aunt who wanted her daughter-in-law to win the Competition, tells him his wife was caught having fun with another Man!
Sid is shocked.
Roshni stands up and faces him with her face pleading. Simran pushes her off and tells Sid that as his Mother, she wants to save him from Roshni and can’t bear to see him trapped in such a destructive relationship!
Sid’s Grandmother comes out crying and saying she can’t believe Roshni can do that to him and she needs someone to explain why they had to go to Court!
Sid is staring at her.
Grandmother complains that she believed that her Children and family members were sensible and won’t behave like other City people who don’t believe in Marriages! Raj tells her to calm down.
Roshni calls Sid and sees anger in his face. She says she waited for him to come home, but she now sees he also believes the others, so she will be leaving his house right away and won’t trouble them again and if she has hurt them, she wants forgiveness and if they ever remember today, they should know she loves the family.
Raj tells her not to go.
As she moves, she trips and holds on to Sid to break her fall.
In the process, she stains his suit with Vermillion. Sid silently looks at her walking.
Krutika goes to the room to commend Rajveer on the success of their plan!
Rajveer says he was scared when Sid came and thought he would stop Roshni from leaving.
Krutika says everything will be fine.
Rajveer says they will ruin the whole family. Krutika asks what family? He says he mean DD’s family. Rajveer says Roshni’s family caused them a lot!
Simran apologises to the guests as they say they are leaving. Sid says it’s Grandma’s party and it has to complete. He tells them to stay and eat because his Mother made the food. The rival Aunt says her Son is waiting for them. Sid tells her to invite her Son over. He tells them all to proceed to the patio and he will join them soon.
When the women move to the balcony, Raj stays with Sid and tells him that Roshni left and he seems unaffected; he never thought he could be so heartless and as a father, he’s disappointed in him.
Raj leaves and Sid makes a call.
The rival Aunt tells Grandmother not to worry too much about the issue as Sid can always get married again and move ahead in life.
Krutika tells Grandmother that she showed Roshni so much love, but she still misbehaved!
Sid purposely pours food on a lady’s dress and tells them to take her to the bathroom to clean up.
The rival Aunt’s Son arrives.
Sid tells him to go and wash his face in the bathroom as it’s dirty.
The Competitive aunt says her Son and his wife are really close and love each other very much.
They hear a lady telling someone to move away and let go of her!
Everyone rushes inside the house.
They see the Aunt’s Son has fallen on top of the Woman in the bathroom.
Everyone is in shock. The rival Aunt gets tensed and her daughter-in-law starts yelling at the Lady. Sid asks everyone to come to the hall.
Sid asks the Aunt what’s going on; she was just telling everyone how her Son loves his Wife? He asks if her Son is now following in Roshni’s footsteps?
The Son is in shock and his Mother and Wife are highly embarrassed.
Yash tells DD that Roshni needs them.
DD says maybe Roshni needs to suffer a bit to know how life works!
She makes him promise to always keep an eye on Roshni. Yash feels helpless.
The Son tells his Mother that he didn’t do anything.
Sid says they all saw him in a compromising position. Sid asks the Aunt if she trusts her Son? She says she trusts her Son and he would never do that! Sid says he also knows his Wife and she would never do anything like that. He says it’s so easy to blame a Woman for something she didn’t do and it’s the cheap thinking of Women like this Aunt that causes Women to go through a lot of pain.
He says he apologises for doing it, he had to do it to make them see sense and wants them to realise all they see is not always the truth. He says the Son they saw in a compromising situation is innocent. He apologises to the Man and says Roshni is his Wife and he loves her, she is different from all of them and he is proud of her and her Character.
Raj tells him he’s very proud of him.
He calls Roshni and she enters.
Everyone including Simran is surprised to see her.
Krutika and Rajveer are the most shocked.
Sid goes to hold her by the hand and walks her in. He asks if they are all shocked or surprised? He asks if they really thought he would believe their rubbish instead of supporting his Wife? The Phone call earlier was to Roshni to tell her she’s not going anywhere, and to wait for his call! Sid says he apologises if he shattered their hopes and dreams.
He says it to Rajveer’s face.
He says he wants to make one thing clear, he and Roshni have issues, but it’s just between them and no one has a right to interfere, especially not the outsiders!
He turns to the Aunt and says she felt sorry for her Son, but not Roshni, just because Roshni defeated her in a Competition? He tells them to have a sporting spirit.
The Aunt asks if this is how the Khuranas treat their guests! Sid says guests should not interfere in their host’s matter, and such guests shouldn’t expect any respect from him!
He apologises to the Lady he spilled food on. She tells him that there is no need to apologise because he is doing the right thing; they judged too quickly and it’s only when one is in a similar situation that they know how it feels.
She begs for his forgiveness.
Sid asks if everything is clear about his Wife’s character? He holds Roshni’s hand and says She’s his Wife and he trusts her completely and if anyone tries to accuse or blame her for anything she didn’t do, then they should know if Roshni has to leave, he will leave too and never return!
Roshni is in tears. Sid looks at Simran, Krutika and Rajveer and takes Roshni from there while they both walk out of the living room, leaving them surprised.
Roshni is in the bedroom thinking about all Sid said. She gets emotional thinking about how Sid took her side and brought back her pride. She tells herself that he has done so much for her and helped her clear the bad reputation everyone gave her.
She asks why God is testing her?
She questions where life is talking her?
Sid comes out of the bathroom and sees her crying. He doesn’t speak out loud but in his heart, he asks why she is crying? Roshni also doesn’t speak out loud but her heart says she doesn’t understand.
Sid’s heart asks what she’s trying to understand? Roshni’s heart says their relationship and their Marriage.
He says she wanted this.
Roshni says she doesn’t know what she wants and nobody knows her better than him. He asks if he’s responsible? She says he brought happiness and she stopped worrying when he came into her life. She asks if they can’t give their relationship one more try as she wants to be with him?
She wants to look into his eyes and touch him and be with him.
Sid walks towards the window and Roshni goes up to him. She touches his back and he closes his eye.
He turns and looks at her.
He finally speaks, asking her what’s wrong?
Roshni says there was hair on his back and she took it off. He turns away and she touches him again and says what he did for her…
Sid says it’s been a long day and he wants to forget about it because he still has a lot of work, and wants to sleep peacefully when the work is done, so she should go to sleep too. She feels sad.
Sid goes to the Kitchen and tells the help to serve him dinner.
Roshni offers him the dinner she made him. He ignores it and tells the help to bring his food to his room.
Roshni runs after him.
Sid asks why she’s doing it?
He says all she did in the past really hurt him and he can’t go through it again, so he doesn’t want to get used to her. He says what he did this evening was to support her because he’s her husband and they are not divorced yet. Roshni asks if he will still support her if she needs him after the divorce?
Sid says he has to go.
Grandmother goes to DD’s room. She tells DD that Sid helped Roshni restore her reputation and Roshni just sent her a message.
DD says she wants to go to sleep.
Grandmother goes to the wardrobe and takes out a box. She says DD may want to keep Roshni in the dark, but she (Grandmother) won’t, because it’s the right time to guide Roshni to the right path. DD wakes up then.
Raj sees Roshni crying in the living room and comforts her. He asks if she still loves Sid? He says he knows she’s very naive and knows her emotions are pure, but the state Sid is in, makes him doubt her.
He says Sid has lived a poor life just because he loves her and he has been through a lot and even tolerated his Parents’ humiliation just to keep her happy and that’s why he feels so hurt, and he’s scared and that’s why he prefers to live in the dark now.
He says Sid’s mind tells him to choose his family, but his heart tells him to choose Roshni.
He says her Mother, DD and Simran may want them to get a divorce, but what matters is what she wants.
He says he loves her like a daughter and will always support her.
Roshni’s Grandmother calls and asks her to come over.
Roshni asks for Raj’s permission to go, since Grandmother wants to meet her urgently, and Raj says she can go, but she has to think of what he told her now, and to remember that Sid loves her.
Roshni leaves and Raj wonders why her Grandmother wants to see her so late?
