Raj and Masum reach Shagun’s house and find her doing Vani and Abhay’s grahpravesh. Masum pleads with Raj not to do anything. Shagun puts on an act to protect Vani. Raj scolds her and asks her where Sumeet is. Poonam calls and informs Shagun that Sumeet is at her house. However, Shagun lies to Raj and says she doesn’t know Sumeet’s whereabouts. Raunak asks Raj if he should come with him to search for Sumeet, but Raj firmly refuses.
Sumeet hugs Shlok and urges him to accept their marriage, but he remembers her words about marrying Raunak because he is rich and successful. Raunak asks Shagun why she made Shlok sit as the groom. Instead, Shagun scolds Raunak for his reckless behavior. Raunak continues to shout that he hates Shlok, and Vani is shown approaching his room. The bed catches fire because of Raunak, and Shagun tries to put it out, but Vani fails to hear their conversation about Shlok being at the wedding altar.
Shlok sees Sumeet injured, struggling to walk due to a chain, and picks her up in his arms. Song plays as he carries Sumeet and brings her inside his house. Due to the blood, Sumeet’s footprints leave imprints, and her dupatta gets entangled in Shlok’s shirt. She struggles to walk because of her injury, and Shlok holds her hand firmly. They enter his house together, and they keep looking at each other.
Shlok takes Sumeet to his room and helps her lie down on the bed. He notices that she is trembling and wet, so he gives her a towel to dry herself. However, Sumeet continues to tremble, so Shlok assists in drying her while she keeps looking at him. He removes her accessories and offers her warm milk. Shlok asks her if she feels better and angrily demands to know the truth. They argue back and forth, with Sumeet blaming Shlok for breaking her heart by rejecting their marriage. Shlok tells her to accept the truth instead.
Raj checks the CCTV footage and realizes that the bike Sumeet used belongs to Shlok. He misunderstands, thinking that Shlok intentionally ran away with Sumeet somewhere. He decides to hurt Shlok if he comes near Sumeet. Shlok tells Sumeet that Raj will harm his family.
Sumeet asks if Shlok is backing out of the marriage because of Raj, and suggests she will talk to Raj then. She suddenly notices a lizard and starts screaming, claiming she is allergic to it. She jumps up onto the bed, and Shlok tells her to come down so they can talk. Sumeet shares her surprise at seeing him at the wedding altar.
Since Sumeet refuses to come down from the bed, Shlok also climbs up. They continue arguing, and the bed breaks, causing both of them to fall together. Hearing the noise, Poonam arrives and Shlok runs after her. Poonam asks Shlok if he actually married Sumeet. She makes him swear on her and tell the truth, threatening to give up food and water otherwise.
Sumeet believes that Shlok won’t lie now and admit to the marriage. However, Shlok still denies having married Sumeet, which breaks her heart. Poonam becomes happy and tells Shlok to inform the police in advance so that Raj doesn’t blame their family.
Raj arrives at Shlok’s home with the police, bursting in with anger. He asks the inspector to arrest Shlok for tricking Sumeet into running away. Poonam argues that Sumeet is the one causing trouble by forcing Shlok to accept the marriage. Poonam tightly holds Sumeet’s hand, angering Raj, who drags her away. He smashes a vase in anger, and Sumeet tries to calm him down, insisting that Shlok has done nothing wrong. Raj insists that the police arrest Shlok, but Sumeet declares that he will not be taken anywhere as he is her husband.
Sumeet explains that the issue is about her self-respect and Shlok’s upbringing, and unless she proves their marriage, she won’t leave. Shlok tells Raj to take Sumeet home, but she asserts that her in-laws’ place is her home after marriage, and it is her right to stay there. She stops Raj from disrespecting Shlok’s family, which upsets Raj. Sumeet demands 21 days from everyone to prove that she is married to Shlok. Shagun arrives with Raunak and supports Sumeet’s request for 21 days. Raunak adds that if she fails to prove it within that time, she should accept him as her husband.
Shagun tells Sumeet that if she cannot prove her marriage with Shlok within 21 days, she should accept Raunak as her husband and go to Shagun. Sumeet firmly states that her marriage with Shlok is already blessed by God, and even if she cannot prove it, she will not accept Raunak as her husband. He asserts that she will make her own life decisions and not succumb to any foolish challenge. Poonam interrupts and challenges Sumeet to prove her marriage within 21 days, otherwise she will marry Shlok and Bitti the following day.
Sumeet pleads with Shlok to accept their marriage, but Shlok remains resolute, stating that his mother’s choice is final. Raj urges Sumeet to come home with him, but she insists on staying with Shlok. Raj takes her hand and leads her to the door, but Sumeet stops him and expresses her desire to fight this battle alone, accepting the outcome, be it victory or defeat. Raj asks her to choose between him and her decision. Sumeet cries but pulls her hand away from Raj’s grip. Raj recalls the promise he made to Meet, vowing never to let go of Sumeet’s hand. It continues to resonate with him.
Sumeet visits a temple and lights a continuous flame. She explains that one fire symbolizes the vows she made with Shlok on the wedding altar, and the other fire represents her determination to accept the challenge of proving her marriage with Shlok within 21 days. Raj tells Sumeet that she is now responsible for her new relationship, but their old sibling relationship has come to an end. He walks away, and Shagun taunts Sumeet for being rejected by Shlok and abandoned by Raj.
Shlok’s family members discuss Sumeet, and Poonam wonders what they expect from her. Vani sees a video of Raunak attempting suicide on her phone and panics. Abhay breaks down the door, and Shagun asks him to do something as they see Raunak lying there with his hand injured. Shlok comes to wake up Sumeet for a bath and finds her sleeping, thinking she looks adorable. He wakes her up and reminds her to go to the bathroom as the water will be available soon. Sumeet also misses Raj but is determined not to talk to him since he ended their relationship.
Shlok and Sumeet are enjoying their time together when suddenly they hear a mob throwing stones at Shlok’s house. Media reporters blame Sumeet for breaking Wonder Boy’s heart and leaving with Shlok. They shout that Raunak is fighting for his life. Shlok tries to calm down the mob.
