Shlok brings Poonam back home, and Dadi assures her that the bad times will pass soon. However, Poonam is still distressed and locks herself in her room, recalling her time in jail. She cries and pleads with the family members to leave her alone. Bitti thinks all this can’t be a coincidence, and Shlok claims to understand everything and knows how to stop it.
Meanwhile, Sumeet reaches the end of the street and tries to hide from Raunak. She plans to show the police report to Shlok, proving that Raunak wasn’t present during the marriage night. Raunak calls out to Sumeet to come out, and in a hurry, she drops the report among some papers, making it difficult to find. Raunak pretends to help her and burns the papers, including the report. Sumeet is upset, as she lost the crucial proof.
Shlok requests Poonam to come out, but she refuses to unlock the door until Sumeet leaves the house. He tells her that he will get engaged to Bitti, hoping Poonam will come out. He instructs her to make arrangements for the engagement.
Sumeet cleverly retrieves the report from the ashes, making Raunak think it’s burned. She sends an audio message to Shlok, informing him that she has evidence proving she married Shlok, not Raunak.
Pankhuri overhears the message and informs Shagun about it. Shagun instructs Pankhuri to delete the message, assuming Sumeet is just creating drama. However, Shagun later informs Raunak about the proof.
Meanwhile, Sumeet overhears neighbours discussing Shlok’s engagement and decides to stop it from happening. Raunak confronts Sumeet, showing her a video of Shagun trying to harm Vani. He threatens Sumeet, asking her to burn the report paper, or else Vani’s life will be in danger. Fearing for Vani’s safety, Sumeet reluctantly burns the paper.
But Sumeet becomes more determined to prove her marriage with Shlok. She stops Shlok from getting engaged to Bitti, but he declares that Bitti is his fiancee and tells Sumeet to leave the house. Sumeet refuses to leave until the 21 days are over. Shlok expresses his anger towards Sumeet, and she recalls her memories with him, silently crying during the engagement.
Raj meets Shagun and requests her to leave Sumeet alone, but Raunak teases him for begging. Raj agrees to do what Shagun says if it brings happiness to Sumeet. Shlok’s hand gets infected, and the doctor suggests it may be an aftereffect of chemicals released from a tattoo.
Shlok recalls Sumeet and the tattoo artist’s words but dismisses the thoughts. However, Sumeet assures Shlok that she will prove he is her husband.
Shagun comes to meet Sumeet with jewellery tells her about keeping a press conference which will prove that Sumeet married Raunak and not Shlok. Sumeet throws them away and says whatever her evidence is doesn’t change the truth that she has married Shlok. Shagun shows her heavy metal jewellery and says its Sarkarpur when ladies were being stubborn, they were made to wear such accessories as punishment. Shagun forces Sumeet to wear those and she finds it difficult to walk. She says she will make Sumeet wear such jewellery all over and take her to conference.
Sumeet picks the Vermilion bowl and throws it on Shagun, by time it dissipate Sumeet has freed herself from those heavy jewellery. She says she has power of her husband and Shagun gets shocked to see jewellery in her legs instead. Press conference is arranged at Shlok’s house and wonder boy’s gather outside cheering for him.
Raunak pulls one of the fan girls closer and asks her to meet him later . She feels uncomfortable and leaves. Sumeet sees the incident and asks her for a help. She makes the girl to call Raunak at back of house. Sumeet throws cow dung on Shlok and traps his leg.
Sumeet threatens Raunak to tell her what evidence they are going to show in the press conference. Shlok comes there and frees Raunak. He tells her if she is confident about truth she should face the press conference. Media questions about who Sumeet’s real husband is. Shagun tells her evidence is someone whom even Sumeet never denies to and calls Raj to answer the media. Sumeet is left shocked to see Raj there. Raj tells media that he loves Sumeet a lot but that cannot change the truth.
Raj lies that Sumeet got married to Raunak and he is eye witness to it.
