Shagun orders her goons to force everyone out of the house. Sumeet confronts Shagun angrily, questioning her actions. Shagun claims that they need to suffer alongside her. She coerces Anju to remove her earrings and demands that everyone hand over their jewelry. Sumeet refuses to wear her jewelry if her family can’t wear theirs. Shagun even tries to take Poonam’s Wedding Necklace, leading to Shlok’s anger.
Dadi curses Shagun, who pushes her roughly. However, Sumeet prevents Dadi from getting hurt. Shagun informs Poonam that she’s well aware of the price Shlok is paying for being with Sumeet, and now all their family members are paying the price. Shlok and his family on the streets.
Shlok’s family are waiting on the road. Shlok calls their lawyer to ask about the situation. Pankhuri arrives and wonders why everyone is outside. Anju explains that Shagun has taken over their shop and home. Pankhuri blames Sumeet for the trouble and suggests they go to her house instead. But Poonam remembers Masoom’s taunts and refuses help from Raj. She asks Sumeet to support them and not to rely on Raj for everything. Dad starts coughing, and Sumeet asks Shlok to get water.
Sumeet blames herself, thinking that they’re suffering because Shagun is seeking revenge on her. Shagun calls her goons and tells them to come over. The women are waiting alone when a group of drunk goons shows up. They start using vulgar language and eve teasing. Sumeet firmly warns them to leave. She recalls Meet’s advice to face problems head-on. Sumeet kicks one of the goons and tells him to remember that women who give birth can also fight back. More goons arrive.
Pankhuri and Poonam scold Sumeet for arguing with the goons. Poonam apologizes and asks them to go. But one of the guys demands Sumeet in exchange. Poonam stands up for Sumeet and warns them not to touch her. Sumeet tells Poonam to take the other ladies away. She picks up flour from the ground and makes the goons slip in cement. Then she grabs a stick and beats them. The goons apologize and promise not to harass anyone in the future. Dadi praises Sumeet’s bravery, and Shlok also applauds her.
Rajiv tells Shlok that they’re struggling to find accommodations. He asks Poonam if they can stay at Raj’s house just for one night. Poonam explains that all this trouble is happening because they accepted Sumeet, and that’s why Shagun is seeking revenge. Shlok suggests he’ll arrange money, and they can stay in a hotel, but he asks Poonam not to blame Sumeet. Sumeet decides to take on responsibilities and looks for ways to earn money for food. She goes to a party and meets caterers who offer her a job cleaning dishes to earn some money. She feels uneasy but starts cleaning to earn.
Meanwhile, Shlok is also seeking work at the same wedding event. He overhears organizers saying they need a singer urgently. However, he remembers his contract to sell the copyright of his voice to wonderboy. Sumeet sees siblings eating together and recalls her memories with Raj. She struggles to clean the dishes. Shlok is conflicted about needing money and his contract with Raunak. Finally, he goes on stage in a hoodie to start performing.
Sumeet is washing dishes while Shlok begins to perform on stage, but suddenly the microphone malfunctions. A female worker advises Sumeet to use dry coconut peels to clean the vessels, which causes her hands to start bleeding. Raj arrives and is saddened by her condition. He tends to her wound, applies a bandage, and suggests that she come with him.
However, Sumeet declines the offer, stating that she wants to support her family during tough times. She believes that accepting help might hurt the self-respect of Shlok’s family. Despite the difficulty, she continues her work.
Raj becomes emotional, saying he’ll take over the task, but Sumeet promises him and insists on doing it herself. Raj feels powerless seeing her in pain. Pankhuri wants to go to Raj’s house and persuade Poonam to accept their help. Sumeet endures the pain, determined not to give up for her family. Rajiv assures Poonam and Dad that he’ll arrange something. Priyanka scolds Pankhuri for having a low opinion of their family, but Pankhuri turns the blame back on her. Meanwhile, Shlok starts singing on the stage, which surprises Sumeet.
Sumeet recalls the same song Raunak sang during his concert. She thinks it’s wonderboy’s voice, but since Raunak is in a mental hospital, she assumes recorded songs are playing. Pankhuri expresses her frustration with the lack of luxuries to Sarthak and implies their marriage was a mistake. She leaves the scene. Sumeet asks the caterer for food and a small bottle of milk instead of money. She realizes she forgot to bring sugar-free halwa for Dadi, so she goes back to the venue to retrieve it. Shlok’s performance continues, and Sumeet hears guests praising the singer. She’s shocked to learn it’s a live performance and wonders who the singer is, as the voice sounds like wonderboy’s.
Sumeet approaches the stage and decides to find out who the singer is, suspecting that Raunak might have escaped. She instructs a waiter to place a mirror behind the singer, following the manager’s request. To her astonishment, Sumeet sees that Shlok is the one performing on stage. Shlok is equally surprised to see Sumeet in the audience. She playfully extends her hand to Shlok and asks for his autograph, pretending to be his biggest fan. Shlok appears teary-eyed.
