Zara, Reema and Kabir comes to the restaurant, he pulls out chairs for them and sit with them. Reema asks if he is hurt? he says no. Zara thanks him for helping them out. Kabir says he would have done it for any girl. Reema says there is no difference between Zara and any other woman? Kabir says if a man doesn’t help a woman in need, then he is not a man. He says he wants to say that she shouldn’t wear clothes like that. She says what clothes? He says those that showed her body. She says what was wrong with them? He says they show off more of the body. Zara says so what? Kabir says they provoke goons and they get chance to take photos and harass girls. Zara says so you think that I should seek all the goon’s opinion before making my wardrobe, so it won’t make their animal come out? Kabir says he’s just saying she should follow/adhere to the code of conduct of Islam. Zara says God have given code of conduct to men too, as they have to keep their eyes lower, he says yes. Zara says then tell those goons to not come into girls’ trial rooms ever again, as we can wear anything we want and if they provoke men, then it’s their problem, not ours. She adds that Goons or educated men like him have same cheap thoughts! Kabir says she keeps having fight/issue between a man and woma, but if she had worn burqa today, then this wouldn’t have happened, he leaves.
Shahbaz Ahmed recalls how the Chiarman, Irfan didn’t listen to him on instant divorce bill. He meets some man Khalid. Shahbaz says to him that he is a member of the Sharia board, so it’s time he takes on his duties, and call a meeting. Khalid asks what the agenda is? Shahbaz says tell them that the Vice President, Shahbaz Ahmed wants to give his resignation, he leaves.
Zara is on bike with Reema. Zara says what rubbish was he talking about there…, that their clothes provoke men? She says all men are same except her father, Irfan. Reema asks her to calm down and drive the Scooty. Zara drives it and smiles.
Shahbaz comes home and recalls how he made Kabir promise to become the Chiarman of the town. He sees all tje women smiling and asks what is happening? And why are they all looking towards the Kitchen… Who is making food there? His daughter answers that they have hired a new Cook. He asks about Ayesha(his wife)? She says yes and calls the male Cook, who turns out to be Kabir, cooking there.
Shahbaz sees him in Chef’s clothing and glares at him, He says to Ayesha that what is this? Men aren’t meant to work at home, and she knows what he wants him to become, he asks him to get ready for the meeting.
Zara asks her father if she can go to the meeting with him? Her Mom says no, Zara says I am educated, but her Mom says girls are not educated to work, they only do it to know the difference between good and bad. Zara says our religion asks to spread education. Her Mom says our family didn’t have women work with men, so you can’t go. Irfan says no one other than the board members would be present, so they will talk about it later, he leaves.
Zara asks her Mom why she talked like that? Her Mom says it never happened, and what will people say? Zara says all that can change, so why shouldn’t they do what she didn’t do? Her Mom says it’s called Culture and Traditions. Zara says she wants to live her life freely. Her Mom says no one is stopping her, as the whole house is hers, so should live it like she wants, she smiles and leaves, but Zara is hurt.
In Sharia board meeting, Shahbaz says to members that he’s founding a member of this board, and they all can give their position to anyone in their place, so he wants to give his position to his Son Kabir, as he wants him to become a member and also the Vice Chiarman, he says he became a Priest recently.
Irfan asks if anyone has objection to that? They all say no. Shahbaz calls Kabir. Kabir greets Irfan and others. Irfan says we welcome you and hope that like your father, you will serve this nation too? He says I hope so. Irfan says he has to take an oath.
Kabir says ‘I Kabir, promise to follow Quran and work for this country’s benefit’. They all congratulate him and Shahbaz says now, he wants to talk about something, which is the topic of an instant divorce. Irfan says they have already talked about it and they have already finalized the decision, so they will take the decision here, besides, he’s no longer a member, but his Son is, so he doesn’t have any right in this committee again, and he would request he leaves. Kabir is hurt. Shahbaz couldn’t believe it and leaves.
Kabir goes behind him after asking Irfan for permission. Kabir comes to Shahbaz, but he asks him to go back inside, he says but… Shahbaz says you want to take revenge of my insult? So take that chair of Irfan, so go! He leaves. Kabir looks on.
Shahbaz meets Khalid, Khalid says Kabir did well, as Irfan likes him a lot, his voice and knowledge is great too, he says sorry he didn’t take stand for him. Shahbaz says he can’t bear this anymore, so bring some weakness of Irfan, then he won’t spare him! He leaves and Khalid looks on.
Irfan’s wife asks why he is worried? Irfan says he’s shocked, as one man in the board thinks that he doesn’t know anything, but his Son is rather sensible. Zara comes there and asks what about her future? Her Mom says a girl’s future is decided when she is born, so she should learn to work at home, so as to make her in-laws happy. Zara says then she shouldn’t have sent her to study. Her Mom says her father wanted her to study. Irfan says they run many Schools and there is a place for teachers, so she can give an interview there, but he can’t recommend her, as it’s the duty of the Vice Chiarman of the board to give positions to the Teachers and the new Vice Chiarman (Kabir) is very good.
Kabir comes to his Sister, she is miffed with him. Kabir takes her Phone so she can talk to him. Irfan calls Kabir, Kabir says yes? Irfan says you know we serve the nation, and one school is run by us, and there is a Teacher position available there, and there is already an applicant now, so take her interview and if she is capable enough, then hire her. Kabir says okay and ends the call.
Kabir comes to Shahbaz, Shahbaz says he’s the upcoming Chiarman of this City. Kabir says Irfan called and asked him to take an interview for a Teacher’s position. Shahbaz says if he is taking interest, then it must be someone from his clan, so reject that person, even if the applicant is capable, as they have to defeat Irfan. Kabir says that is against their religion, Shahbaz says but it’s good for politics. Kabir says they are not politicians, but Priests.
Shahbaz says he has to apply politics to do good in the society, and he wants people to have a nice leader. Kabir says right, and the head should know the difference between right and wrong and he should always do justice irrespective of anyone infront of him, he leaves. Shahbaz says now I am sure you can be the Chiarman of the whole Country.
Zara is giving mock interview to Reema. Reema asks if she has experience? Zara says no, but she has taught her friends. Reema says she won’t be selected like this. Zara makes her wear her father’s coat and turban to have a more feel. Zara says she feels she has guts and determination to teach, so experience doesn’t matter if one has the will to change. Reema says great and hugs her. Irfan sees it and says the Vice Chairman will have a tough time.
Kabir is leaving home, his Mom blesses him. Alina takes off evil eye from him and says he is looking so handsome, and theif applicant is a girl, then she can have her eye set on him. Kabir laughs. Imran comes home, Kabir greets him and leaves. Imran says to Alina that he will show her her Prospective Sister-in-law, they are all stunned.
Zara is leaving for her Interview, her Mom covers her head with scarf and says now, it’s good. Irfan blesses her and says even if she fails, then it’s the first step to success, so he will pray for her success. Zara says have faith in me. Reema says her Grandma says she should eat Yogurt and Sugar before leaving for the big work, Zara’s Mom eyes her. Irfan says eat fast and leave on time. Zara eats and leaves with Reema. Her Mom says this Reema girl is not good, and what’s the need of eating yogurt? Irfan says it’s not about yogurt, but determination which their girl has.
Zara and Reema comes to the School for the Interview. The Receptionist take her to the Office. Zara sees Kabir sitting there and she’s stunned, they recall their argument. Zara says you? He says you? Kabir asks why she’s here? Zara says his School needs educated teacher, so she’s here for the interview. Kabir says does she think they would want the Kids to go to the wrong path by hiring her? Zara says their Kids are on the dangerous path, as he’s with them, she turns to leave, but Kabir asks what she means? Zara asks if he’s the Vice Chiarman of the Sharia Board? He says yes, he asks if she forgot her burqa again? She says she believes in eyes shame. He asks why did she wear burqa that day then? She says she did it just to show it to her Mom, and she doesn’t want to discuss her personal life here. Kabir says he understands her talk, m but this is about building the Kids’ future, so they can’t hire people with thoughts like that. Zara says you know I can take place here easily, but I won’t because I know people like you live with taking the wrong side/path all through your whole life and working with people like him is an insult to her, so she won’t be working here, she leaves as Kabir looks on.
Imran is showing some clip to Alina. Zara’s clip on the train plays where she says that women and Men are equal and when women try to say it, then they are given divorce easily. Kabir says the divorce also breaks the Man’s house as well, and if the relationship can be made from saying I do, I do, I do, then it can be broken by saying divorce three times. Zara says we women also have a say in the I do, I do, I do, but they don’t have a say in divorce, and you can’t break relations without a woman’s say in it.
Shahbaz sees the video too and asks who she is? Alina says she’s the Chiarman, Irfan’s daughter, as they met her at the milad. Shahbaz thinks he has found Irfan’s weakness.
Shahbaz is in his Car and recalls how Irfan asked him to leave the meeting, as he doesn’t have any say in it. Shahbaz meets Khalid and says he has a work, and that he has to find a case of an instant divorce, make someone divorce, but do it ASAP, as he has found Irfan’s weakness. Khalid says some relative of mine got divorced by her husband, so what’s his weakness? Shahbaz says his daughter, just bring a meeting for this matter. Khalid says the board is closed off for today. Shahbaz says call all of them now and tell them it’s urgent, as the meeting musr. happen today, and keep it at Irfan’s house so his daughter will be there too, he leaves. Khalid arranges for the meeting.
Irfan offers namaz/prayer. Zara comes back and takes blessing from him. Irfan says one could tell from her face that her interview didn’t go well. Zara says the person there is so bad. He says Kabir Ahmed? She says yes, you know him? He says yes, he is nice, educated and good mannered. Zara says he is too traditional. Irfan says tell me why you fought with him? Zara says he has old thoughts, he doesn’t see changes, I rejected him before he could take my interview, she leaves. Her Mom says this happened because of that Yogurt. Irfan says there’s a meeting here, prepare for breakfast, she says she has done the arrangements.
Shahbaz comes to Kabir and asks about the interview. Kabir says he knows the girl from before, he met her in the train, so thry can’t hire her. Shahbaz says she is the same girl who met you in the train? You know she is the Chiarman, Irfan’s daughter, and they have to go to his house today. He is stunned and says what? He says there is a meeting today about instant divorce case, and the board has to decide if the divorce should happened or not, he says he wants him prepared, to read and research a lot about all the divorce cases Sharia has handled. Kabir says he will revise those, he asks if he will also come? Shahbaz says he will make them feel his presence for sure!
Kabir comes to Irfan’s house. He knocks on the door, Zara opens it and is stunned to see him, she recalls their recent argument, he looks away from her, Zara asks for what he’s doing here? He says he came to meet her father. Zara says what work does he have with him? Does he want to talk bad about her thinking and clothes? She tells him to go do his work, she is about to close the door, when the other members comes there. Khalid asks Kabir to come inside, he smirks at Zara and says he is the Vice Chairman of the board, he goes into the house.
The meeting starts, and the female Servants brings juices for all of them. Zara is passing by the room and looks at Kabir through the door, he points at his juice and hints if she wants some? She glares at him. Irfan comes there and greets all of them. Irfan asks Kabir to sit beside him and not stay far away. Kabir smirks at Zara and sits beside him, Zara leaves. Irfan makes them meet a Couple, Irfan says this husband gave instant divorce to his wife, he says Kabir you are young, so we want your opinion first. Kabir says you all are experienced, he then asks the man if he said divorce three times? He says yes, he asks was he mentally ill that time? He says no he was angry. Kabir asks the wife if she heard him say the word divorce to her three times? She says yes. Kabir says as far as my studies, divorce happened and there is no doubt about it. Irfan asks the members who agree with Kabir? The Majority agrees with him. Irfran says divorce is not liked by God and Prophet, and in this case, instant divorce happened, he is about to sign on the papers when Shahbaz comes there and says stop Chairman! Irfan says you are here? Kabir is confused seeing him.
