Zeenat jerks her hand away from Zara and says don’t do this drama! Zara says drama? Zeenat says yes, what did you say that you dont want to marry Kabir? You promised that Ruksaar will marry Kabir, but you easily said yes at the Wedding. Zeenat says her Sister didn’t get what was rightfully hers, so she will snatch it away from her as well, as this is her right, as the elder daughter-in-law of this house! She promised to make Zara’s life a living hell, and that she will be fully present wherever she goes to in this house, she leaves.
Ruksaar comes there and says she’s sorry Zara, and Zeenat is this way because she loves her a lot and can’t bear to see her hurt for even a moment. She tells Zara that she will take her to her room instead. Zara says she’s responsible for this, as she made her engaged to Kabir. Ruksar recalls Shahbaz’s deal and says whatever happens happens for a reason. She takes Zara to a room and leaves.
Salma comes to Zara’s room and looks at her things. Irfan comes there and tells her to set her things too, but Zara says she will do it, he says like Salma, Zara’s things give her peace too. Salma says why did she have to marry so soon, as he took her daughter away. Irfan says she also wanted to, and she would have felt the same wat, even if Zara had delayed and married after 10 years as well. Salma says he’s right, as daughters are just guests in their Parent’s house, they both are in tears.
Shahbaz is tensed and recalls how Zara gave a condition that they can’t have Instant Divorce no matter the situation. Ruksaar brings tea for him. He thanks her and asks if she wants to say something? Ruksaar says he has given her a path, but a hurtful one, and she can’t, but could also live with Kabir, and whenever she sees Kabir and Zara together, she just couldn’t bear it. Shahbaz says he understands, as she did as he said, si she should try and control her emotions for sometime. Ruksar says what if their marriage becomes successful? Shahbaz says he has seen how they always fight, so just let Kabir become the Chiarman of this City, then he will be hers (Ruksar)!
Ayesha says to Kabir that only few people can take all people with them to walk in life, first she saved Ruksar’s life, and today, she saved Zeenat from her wrath and stopped a storm in this house. She said she knows this marriage isn’t what he wanted, as he has tried to stop it severally, but she didn’t say anything about it, but she now wants to say that Zara is his wife, and ge married her right in front of them, so he should go to his room and make her believe that she will get his love without any doubt in this house. Kabir leaves from there.
Kabir is going to his room when Alina stops him. Kabir says he wants to go his room. Alina says this is their right, and ge has to give her money to do that. Ruksar also says that it’s their right, and if he doesn’t give them, then she will take it from his pocket. Kabir stops her and gives the money to Alina. Ruksar tells her to let him go, as his bride must be waiting. Kabir goes to his room, and Ruksar is in tears to see it.
Kabir comes to his room and looks around, he doesn’t see Zara anywhere and sits on thr bed. Zara comes there. Kabir stares at her, and then, at the bed. He stands up. Zara has changed her clothes. She moves, but bumps into Kabir, they both look at each other in the eyes, but Zara looks away. Kabir throws away his wallet. Zara says you said you pity a guy whose wife I will be, right…, then why didn’t you pity yourself when you said yes in Nikah? Kabir is stunned.
He says Pity? She talked about pitying too, so why didn’t she pity herself? Zara says her Parent’s respect forced her to accept, and kept telling her heart that Men and Women are equal, but the truth is that the daughters saying NO, can’t be handled well by Parents, and she trusted that he would say NO. Kabir says why? Does his own Parents not have respect to uphold too? She should have said NO first.
Zara says now that the truth is out, it’s obvious he never wanted to say NO, as he thought that she was going to say NO, and he won’t have to say anything, as she and her Parents would be insulted. Kabir asks what plan? He says he was just thinking about his Parent’s respect as well. Zara says he didn’t think about his Parent’s respect when he first made plans with her to break this marriage, and it’s now that he has realized it. Kabir says how about her…, she didn’t remember her Parents back then? Zara says no, because she trusted him, and she thought he would say NO at any cost, but he broke her trust for him, and she will never ever trust him in her life. She takes pillow and the blanket.
Kabir asks where she’s going? Zara says she isn’t going anywhere, but he’d be the one to leave, because she can’t share bed with him. Kabir says even if she didn’t say that, he would have slept on the Couch. He takes a pillow from her and goes to lie on the Couch. Zara sits on the bed and opens her braid. Kabir is miffed, as he sees no blanket on the bed, he brings it and throws it on the bed. Zara lies down. Kabir turns off the lights and asks her to turn off the bed lamp. She says she can’t sleep in darkness.
Kabir lies on the Couch, and he recalls Zara’s arguments with him, concerning how she said she would never want to see his face ever again. Zara recalls how she said to Kabir that she pities his Wife, she thinks she didn’t know that she would pity just herself.
In the morning, Kabir wakes up and goes to the washroom. Zara is inside and screams. She says how could he come inside like this? Kabir says sorry, but this is his bathroom. Zara says this is her bathroom too now. Kabir asks her to lock the door as from next time, he leaves.
Kabir and Zara offers Namaz/Islamic Prayers. Someone knocks on the door. Zara opens it, and it’s Ruksar. Ruksaar says she brought tea for the both of them. She sees the sleeping arrangement in the room, as Kabir’s pillow is on the Couch. She gives the tea to Zara. Zara says she likes her tea before Namaz. Kabir says Zara, Ruksar isn’t her Servant. Zara says but she helped them so much to get married, so she can still help now. Ruksaar says yes, she can help, she will give her clothes to the laundry, she takes Zara’s dress and leaves.
Salma brings breakfast to Ayesha’s house. Ayesha says to Alina that this is a part of the rituals. Ayesha says Salma you brought so much food. Salma says she brought it for Kabir. Zeenat says Kabir already had breakfast, as he likes to wake up very early in the morning, so Ruksaar has taken the breakfast for him, and she makes such nice breakfast. Salma says so she got here really late. Ayesha says no, it was just tea. She asks Zeenat to bring things. Reema asks if she can meet Zara? They leave.
Reema comes to Zara’s room with Shubratan. Reema asks how she is? Zara says they thought/planned a lot, but God had other plans, as she never thought they will get to meet like this. Shubratan is looking around. Zara asks what she’s doing? Shubratan says she’s searching for hints of that thing, as it’s the first time in life when they see broken bangles, and crumbled rose petals everywhere. Zara asks her to shut up and leave! Reema laughs and asks if it really happened…, did her bangles broke really? Zara gets tensed and says something broke for sure, but not bangles, my HEART broke.
Imran comes to Kabir and says he can’t believe, they both tried a lot, but they got married in the end, what a fate. He asks Kabir if he will change his views of Zara? Kabir says colours never change, she has to change herself.
Reema says to Zara if she thinks Kabir will change? Zara says he has to change, he has married her, so now, he would have to change. Reema says she doesn’t have any other option too, as she said YES too for the marriage, and she’s now officially Mrs. Kabir. Zara says she’s married to a man who she wouldn’t even want as an enemy.
Ruksaar comes there and asks if she has disturbed them? Zara asks what if she says yes? Ruksaar says Ayesha is calling her (Zara), she leaves. Zara says she feels like Ruksar is some kind of CCTV.
Zara and Kabir sits with others in the lounge. Ayesha says they will have a ritual now, as Zara will place kheer in her hand which Kabir will have to eat, then Kabir will alsp put kheer in his hand which she will have to eat as well, and the one TV that’s able to eat it will win it. Salma says and that person will keep winning in life. Reema says they won’t let Kabir win. Ruksaar says only if she let her reach Kabir, will she be able to win. Salma glares at her.
Alina puts kheer in Kabir’s hand, he moves it towards Zara, but Alina grabs his hand and eats it. Reema places kheer in Zara’s hand, Zara hints at her. Reema smirks and takes her hand and eat the kheer. Kabir sees it and thinks they are cheating! He puts kheer in his hand and he’s about to take it to Zara, when Ruksaar pulls his hand and eats from his hand. They all look on. Zara puts kheer in her hand and looks at Reema, but Kabir grabs her hand, so she isn’t able to move it. Zara’s bangle breaks, and Shubratan says the bangle has finally broken. Reema takes away Zara’s hand and eats the kheer. Ruksaar says to Kabir to not lose. He puts kheer on his hand again, and Zara grabs his hand and eats TV the kheer from it. He is surprised. Zara puts kheer on her hand. Kabir moves her bangles away and grabs her hand. Zara tries to move her hand away, but Kabir pulls it near his face. Zara smears kheer on his face. They all laugh. Reema says Zara won. Zara smiles.
Zeenat brings Ruksaar to a corner and asks why she’s enjoying all this? Ruksaar says she’s enjoying it, since they spent their night separately, as Zara slept on the bed, whilw Kabir was on the Couch. Zeenat laughs and says the fire is dozing off.
The Walima Ceremony/Marriage Banquet (the second of the two traditional parts of an Islamic wedding) starts. Zara and Kabir are on stage. The Teacher comes there and says Zara, you are looking nice. He puts Zara’s hand in Kabir’s hand and says they are lucky, as the both of them has brought their nation closer. Kabir and Zara sit on the Couch. They move their hands away. Imran says his friend is now married, and everyone has to know who liked who, and how they met and fell for each other. The Video clip plays, in which Kabir and Zara’s arguments are shown. The Clip shows Kabir washing hands when Zara touched it, and how Zara said she would never marry him, as well as how he said that he will offer thanksgiving prayers, as he isn’t marrying her, and How Zara said he looks nice when he smiles. They all laugh seeing the Clip, but Kabir is angry. Then the Nikah is shown. Imran plays the Childhood photos of Kabir. Zara laughs seeing him in just boxers. Kabir gets angry, seeing her laughing. He takes the burning stove and throws it at the projector, they are all stunned, seeing his rage. Zara is shocked.
Kabir throws the stove at the Projector and it breaks. He says he’s sorry for what happened, but it was wrong. He says Walima is an Islamic custom, and their Prophet has ordered them to celebrate it, but that doesn’t mean they should forget their respect for the elders and the younger ones. Imran says but.., . Kabir says he has no right to show anyone’s private life like this, this is shameful, and the people that created those photos are the main ones at fault and they are all at fault too for watching them. He request all of them to not laugh and give it a boost.
Zara asks if Islam doesn’t allow them to celebrate happiness? Kabir glares at her. Kabir says Marriage should be celebrated as a sad moment, and making their friends happy is wrong, and does Islam allows this drama in front of everyone? He adds that what was happening was wrong. Zara says when the Prophet came to Madina, people celebrated his arrival, and Islam doesn’t allow one to cross limits, but it allows one to at least celebrate and mourn too in limits. Kabir glares at her.
The Teacher calls the family to a private area. He says he thought that with this marriage, the Nation will reunite, he thought that seeing the both of them happy will make the families come closer and they will be proud of the both of them, but what he saw today disappointed him. He says he knows it’s good to preach the religion, but fighting over it like school kids is wrong, totally wrong. He says to Kabir and Zara that they are both close to his heart, but if the Nation breaks because of them, then he won’t spare the both of them! He says if they both ever fight again, then it should be in the room, and not right in front of the world, and they will both work for the benefit of this Nation. Kabir says Okay. The Teacher leaves. Zara glances at Kabir, he leaves.
At night, Salma says sorry to Ayesha. Ayesha says she doesn’t have to say sorry, since she thinks Kabir was the one that made the greatest mistakes, as he started it. Salma says it’s her goodness that’s making her say this, but it’s not good for Women to argue with their husband in the presence of everyone. Ayesha says she knows, but she only knows that what Zara was saying was right, and she liked it. Salma thanks her, and tells her not to worry about it, and she will take Zara home, so they can come tomorrow to take her back with them. Salma says yes they have this ritual, and in their family, the Groom will usually joins too, and she wanted Kabir to spend the night at their house, and everything is set, so can Kabir go with them as well? Ayesha is tensed, but smiles.
Kabir says to Ayesha that no, he said yes to the Nikah because of father’s respect, but he got married, so they have to give him time to understand this disaster. Ayesha says he can take as much time he likes, as they’ve done all the rituals, but Zara’s Parents also want to do their rituals too, as they want their Son-in-law to go to their house for the rituals, so he has to go to their house for that. Kabir asks why she doesn’t understand? Ayesha says then think about a girl that left her home, her Parents, and her life, just to spend her life with him, and he can’t spend just a night at her home?
Shahbaz comes there and says to Ayesha that she should tell them that he will bring Kabir and Zara to their house. He asks Kabir to get ready, Kabir is miffed and leaves.
Zara is in the room, trying to zip up her shirt, she can’t reach her back zip. Kabir enters the room and is stunned to see her upper back bare. He looks away. Zara sees him there and tries to zip her back, but couldn’t reach it. She takes her scarf and keeps trying. Zara finally zips it. Zara says it’s like he doesn’t understand that he ought to have knocked before coming inside. Kabir says so he has to do an announcement before coming into his own room? Zara glares at him. Kabir murmurs if she will ever accept her mistake? Zara says he’s showing his ego, instead of saying sorry. They pack their bags for the night stay. Zara says can I ask something? he says yes. Zara says his Mom has so much goodness, and he doesn’t even have one, she wonders why? Kabir asks what she means? Zara says the drama that happened today shouldn’t have happened. Kabir says she’s responsible for that. Zara says he started it, and she was just answering his wrong thoughts. Kabir asks if she’s going to do that for life? Zara says she always answers questions, and if his questions are always going to be like that, then her answers will be like that too, but she doesn’t want people to see his drama, but she doesn’t like what happened today though. Kabir says he doesn’t want that too. Zara says all she wants today, at her house, in front of her Parents, that there won’t be any issue. Kabir glares at her. Zara takes her bag and leaves. Kabir says he thought she was thinking for the both of them, but he now understand rhar she was just thinking about herself and her Parents. He says what he has to do, or not do, he will also have to think there as well.
