Preeta explains that she trusts him a lot, but she truly feels that he is mistaken. Rishab answers that if there are no questions in friendship, and if she came to him when he was marrying Sherlyn, explaining that she’s not the right choice, he would have left the Temple, but she is not listening to him even when he is explaining that Prithvi is not the right choice for her which means that she doesn’t trust him, and that she doesn’t want to be saved from such a cruel person.
He explains that she called him her friend and he always tried to hold up but now, when he is trying to prove his friendship, she is not letting him, he explains that if he breaks their relationship, then he will not look back, he is adamant that if he turns back, then he will not come back and if she decides to marry Prithvi, then he will never come back, as he doesn’t have the heart to see her with him, he explains that once he leaves, he will make sure to erase everything that he has regarding her in his heart, he says that her one word can end the relationship that they have.
Preeta requests Rishab to stop, as he means a lot to her, she has no words to explain to him, she explains that it’s the wish of her mother that she gets married and she cannot hurt her for anyone; he doesn’t know that she met her mother after twenty years. He explains that he has not asked her to do this, but he’s leaving as he can’t see her like this, her friend Rishab is leaving forever without the possibility of coming back.
Rishabh tells Preeta that her friend is leaving forever. He won’t be back. He tells her to always be happy, he starts walking away with teary eyes. She watches him leave and cries as well. He comes outside and says first time, he came to Kumkum Bhagya hall, everyone had become so close to him. He didn’t expect to go away from everyone. He wipes his tears and says anything for his family. He will never be back to this place. He gets into his Car and drives away.
Prithvi looks into the mirror and praises himself. Rishabh couldn’t do anything to him. He gets shocked seeing Karan behind him. He asks Karan not to mess with him and get out from here! Karan puts handkerchief with chloroform on his nose and makes him unconscious. He then ties him up with the help of Sammy. He asks Sammy to go home. He looks at Prithvi and says it won’t be Prithvi who will get married to Preeta. It will be him (Karan).
Karan comes outside with his face hidden behind the Veil and sits in the Temple. He says in his mind that his feelings for Preeta are increasing. First they were friends, now he has hatred and enmity for her!
Sammy wonders why Karan sent him back? Karan is for sure up to something. Two people are marrying whose families don’t like each other at all.
The Wedding ceremony starts. Karan says in his mind that Preeta is not getting married, she’s making the biggest mistake of her life. First he couldn’t see her in pain, but now, he feels he will be happy seeing her in pain. His wound will heal from that!
Prithvi’s Mother is relieved that she got free from Sherlyn. She feels bad for the Luthras for getting a daughter-in-law like Sherlyn despite not liking them.
Kareena asks Rakhi why she went to Preeta’s marriage when she knows it’s Preeta behind everything bad that’s happening in their house? Rakhi says she just went to give her blessing, as she takes her as her daughter. Kareena says Preeta knew very well that Prithvi did the accident and still released Prithvi from jail. Preeta doesn’t care about anyone. Kareena further says she can’t forget the insult they had to face in the Police Station because of Preeta. If she really likes Preeta that much, then she can tell others to leave the house. Rakhi says her intentions weren’t wrong. She asks Karan’s Grandma to say something. Karan’s Grandma supports Kareena. Kareena says finally, Preeta has gone from their lives, and she is happy that a horrible woman like Preeta is marrying the criminal Prithvi. Sherlyn is glad and says now, Preeta won’t come in her way ever again.
Sarla wonders whether she took the right decision to get Preeta married; Preeta should be happy after releasing Prithvi from the Police Station, but she is not. Beeji says if there is any family that Preeta respects, then it’s the Luthra’s. Sarla says if that was the case, then she wouldn’t have gone against them. Beeji says she just supported Prithvi because she thought he was innocent, and not because she loves him, but her heart is still with the Luthra family.
Kareena asks Rakhi why she is silent now? Karan’s Grandma tells Rakhi she has always stood with her in all matters, but this time, she isn’t with Rakhi. Rakhi says she always held Preeta as a daughter and had feelings for her, she went to bless her on her wedding, but she never knew that Prithvi was behind the accident. She now hates Preeta.
Karan’s Grandma cries that her Mahesh is almost dead, he doesn’t move or speak; he said Prithvi’s name, but they are helpless and can’t get Prithvi punished because of Preeta’s evidence.
Sherlyn overhears this and thinks since Rakhi now hates Preeta, so will her Son.
Rishab comes to the ladies and consoles them, promising to get whoever hurt his father, purnished! He wipes the tears of Kareena, his Grandma and hugs Rakhi. He says Rakhi isn’t mistaken, she did anything with love; no one can have such a beautiful family. They must be happy to stand together with one another. He spots Sherlyn at the corner, and tells her she doesn’t need to hide behind a pillar and hear everything. Sherlyn explains that everyone was emotional, and she didn’t know how to handle the situation. Rishab takes the ladies inside.
At the wedding, Sarla was emotional while she performs the tying of Knot of Preeta. The past flashes in her mind. Sarla silently thinks she recognizes the difference in her tears, she knows that Preeta isn’t happy.
Shrishti silently thinks Sarla understands that there is something wrong with Preeta, but doesn’t want to solve her problem.
Preeta silently thinks she can’t believe their relationship with the Luthra family has ended just like that, she is no one to them anymore.
Karan silently thinks there will be a new relationship between Preeta and him. She hates him, but she will have to bear him for many life times; that’s the best revenge he could have.
Sherlyn comes to Rishab and explains herself, m that she didn’t hear the conversation from behind the pillar. It was just that they were all emotional. Rishab asks Sherlyn why she is overthinking? He knows she had a lot of pressure since their marriage, and to prove herself better than Preeta; Preeta wasn’t a daughter or daughter-in-law of the house; but she still ruled everyone’s heart; but it was all in the past now. Rishab realizes that everyone in the family blamed Sherlyn for so many petty matters, and compared her with Preeta. He is sorry for not standing with her when she was wronged. Sherlyn had understood him and came into his life. May be they were wrong and couldn’t help her adjust into the family and she had to overhear them. He holds Sherlyn’s arms and says she is the daughter-in-law of the family, and must take over her responsibility and her position as the rightful one. He doesn’t trust someone easily, and once he does, he doesn’t let it break as well. Sherlyn goes to bring tea for Rishab.
On her way, Sherlyn feels free and independent; Rishab is such a perfect man and trusted her; It’s good Prithvi married Preeta, otherwise Karan would have fallen for her (Preeta), and she can’t bear Preeta anymore in this house! Now, she will rule the whole family and the Luthra house all alone!
Preeta and Karan stand for the Wedding rounds. Karan gives his hand to Preeta which she holds. The Priest explains the meaning of the Wedding rounds. It’s about trust, companionship, trust, family entrustment, and standing steadfastly for each other. During the Wedding rounds, Preeta stops herself from looking into the past, that Karan didn’t keep her friendship, then how could her dreams be fulfilled? The three rounds were completed and Preeta now takes the lead.
After the Wedding rounds, Karan recalls a Kinner had blessed their Couple. And Kinners prayers are never forgotten, but that blessing turned into a curse for Preeta.
The Priest asks the both of them to sit after they end the circles. Sarla is very happy to see that the last ceremony is about to begin, which consists of filling the forehead with Vermilion.
Preeta thinks that she wanted Karan to be in her wedding, as she still considers him her friend.
Karan while performing the ceremony is thinking that she has no idea he’s the one doing the Ceremony and not Prithvi. The Priest asks the Groom to place the Wedding Necklace on the bride’s neck, before completing the Wedding. Everyone claps on the happy occasion.
Prithvi wakes up, he endlessly tries to free himself before succeeding, he then tries to open the door, but it’s locked, he wonders how he will get out of the room, thinking that he might marry Preeta, he thinks that someone might come in, if he can’t go outside, as he will not let Karan marry Preeta!
Janki also wakes up and she then breaks free from the rope before running outside, she hears someone knocking the door, but is shocked to see that it’s Prithvi, he’s also shocked to see her.
