Zara says to Nilofar thanks for that file. She says I wanted to give you a file and be nice like you. Zara says I don’t consider you nice. Nilofar says I am trying to change your opinion about me; Meraj is mad. I am tired of living in this room. I will help you because that will help me as well.
Zara comes to Kabeer. He says Kashan said there is nothing wrong in the work. She says then we don’t have to worry about the files. I will handle Nilofar. He says read the file. She says I took one case in hand and you divorced me. Not this time. He says you know things have changed. I know you won’t ever disappoint me. Please always be like you are. I know you have always helped me. Help your father and find a solution for him this time. She says okay. Zara says yes we know each other better now. She hugs him.
Zara comes to Nilofar’s room. Nilofar says I got you tea. Zara says take this file, I don’t need it, Kashan told me they are fake. Nilofar says okay, but keep your eyes open, as anything can happen. Zara leaves.
Zara comes to Abida’s house. She says you filed Nikkash case. I came to help you. Can I record your statement? She says I married Waseem Khan. He went to Saudia. He divorced me and I don’t even know why. Zara recalls her divorce. She continues that he never contacted me. We were alone. He came back, but his family didn’t let us meet. I didn’t have another way. How can I keep my daughter alone. He said he wanted to marry again. I don’t have an option because I want my daughter to have a good life. He asked me to do halal. Zara says any woman won’t do that. She says people want money from me to do halal and I will have to sleep with him. Zara hugs her and says I won’t let this happen.
Zara says to Reema that we have to help Abida and other women that are getting targeted in this society.
Imran, Zara and Reema comes to the Nikah Center. Imran says to the Officer that I want to marry this girl, I want to do Halala. The Officer asks who is she to you? Imran says she was my wife, I gave her divorce in anger and I want her back now, so can you please do her halala? The Officer says no problem, it can happen, we have to arrange for Photoshoot to wedding, food, setting and everything, you will need to give money to arrange for the fake halala, do you have someone thst can marry her? Imran says no. The Officer says no worries, we have Men that does fake halala, you will need to give money for that too; if the woman is ready to share the bed with her halala husband, then the fees will be 50K, if not, then you have to pay a fee of 100K. Zara gets angry and says you have made religion a joke! They leave from there.
Reema asks Imran what is halala? Imran says if a man gives divorce to his wife and wants her back, then he can’t do it, as she becomes illegal for him, then the girl has to do halala and marry another man, she has to share bed with just him, then she can take divorce from him, and go back to her husband. Reema says this is injustice to woman. Zara says women like Abida has to go through it. Imran says I don’t know from where consummation in halala has come from.
Zeenat brings hot chocolate for Alina and says you know a guy likes you, he lives in London and he’s very handsome, his mother wants your Picture, which one should I share? Alina says you don’t need to send any Picture. Zeenat says don’t worry, you look good in every Picture. Alina says I want to complete my studies first Zeenat says do it, you can wait 2 years to do the marriage. Alina says it doesn’t matter if it’s 2 years or 5 years, I know what happens after marriage, they get divorced and are taunted for life, same is happening with Zara, I want to become independent first, don’t send any Picture to anyone. Zeenat says is this the way to talk? You never used to talk back; I know who is teaching you this manners, you have started valuing Zara too much, she is making you like her, this is wrong.
Zara comes there and says what is wrong? Alina runs to her and hugs her, she cries and says I don’t want to marry.
Zara comes into the Kitchen and asks Zeenat if she needs help? Zeenat says why don’t you leave this house? Zara says as long as I am here, fulfilling my needs is Kabeer’s duty and I am in this house for only some days. Zeenat says are you playing with Alina to make place in this house? You are showing that you are helping Alina to make place in Kabeer’s heart? Zara says don’t forget you are a woman too, this word divorce is like a poison and God forbid you should never go through it. Zeenat says don’t worry, I won’t go through it, what is happening with you is on you, and that doesn’t mean it will happen with Alina! Zara says we all have our fates, anything can happen, so don’t be too sure about it. Zeenat says you can say philosophical things, but I will get Alina married in front of you. Zara says I’m promising you that I won’t let Alina marry now. Zeenat says I accept your challenge!
All sit for dinner, Shahbaz asks where is Alina? Zara says she didn’t want to eat with everyone, so I sent her food to her room. Shahbaz says why doesn’t she want to eat with us? Call her for sweet. All look on. Shahbaz asks if there is a problem?
Kabeer says Zeenat have brought a marriage proposal for Alina, and Alina is really angry about it, and doesn’t want to come out of her room.
Shahbaz asks if it’s Shabir Khan’s Son? Zeenat says yes, his Son is very nice, they want Alina’s Picture so as to show it to the guy, as he’s studying in London, and he’s from a good family, so we can get them engaged on Bakra Eid and then do their marriage after two years.
Shahbaz says there’s nothing wrong in that. Zara says sorry, but Alina wants to study, she wants to fly and explore her life and then marry. Shahbaz says you are talking as if we didn’t give her freedom, girls have some restrictions for their own safety, she has everything from her father and brothers, she doesn’t need anything else. Zara says every person has the right to fly and explore.
Kabeer says you don’t want to send Alina’s picture to the guy? They are nice people, then why are you against it? Zara says I am with Alina, she wants to study and have guts to explore her life and she will marry someday, we can marry her with her consent later. Kabeer says her consent is not important.
Shahbaz says enough, stop this argument! Alina is my daughter and nobody knows what’s best for her more than me, I have taken all the decisions of this house, so Alina will marry with my decision like Kabeer and Kashan married.
Zara says your decision will be final, you made Kashan and Kabeer marry, but I am just saying to not marry Alina off without her consent, another aspect of marriage is divorce… all are shocked. Zara says sorry but Islam have given girls the right to give their consent in marriage, which is why they ask the bride first in Nikah. Shahbaz says another aspect of marriage is a good life, think about it, he leaves.
Kabeer says wow, now you are teaching father? Zara says I didn’t want to hurt anyone, I am just saying to ask for Alina’s consent, I got married into a big family too, but then…? She looks at Kabeer. Kabeer glares at her and leaves.
In the morning, Zara comes to Alina’s room with breakfast. She asks Alina to wake up. Alina says I saw your face in the morning, now my whole day will be good. Zara says if you see your face in the morning, then you will have more good days, you have exams coming up and I remember mine and Reema’s exam days. She asks her to get ready. Alina asks if she spoke to Kabeer that she doesn’t want to marry? Zara says I spoke with him, but he is miffed with me, he left without greeting me. Alina says Shahbaz is miffed with me as well, and if Kabeer gets angry too, then what will I do? Zara takes her Picture, ans puts a funny filter on it and says if Zeenat ask for your Photo, then give her this one and groom’s family will run away. They laugh.
Abida calls Zara over the Phone and says my husband, Wasim came to my house, he wanted to set halala’s date, but when I said no, he beat me up and threatened that if I don’t take my case back from the board and refused to do halala, then he will take my daughter away! I am tensed, what should I do? Zara says don’t worry, I’m coming to meet you.
Zara calls Kabeer. Kabeer says don’t call me, I have a meeting. Zara says Abida called me, Kabeer asks who is Abida? Zara says the one who brought the halala case, her husband beat her up and he’s forcing her to agree to his demands. Kabeer says I have a meeting, call the Police for that, he ends the call.
Zara comes to Nilofar and says I need your help with something, but please, do not do anything that will make me question you, Nilofar says okay, what have I to do? Zara says come with me.
Zara comes to Abida’s house, she sees Abida all beaten up and ask her family why didn’t they contact the Police? Her family says that no one wants to inform the Police; Abida’s father says that the Police won’t listen to some poor family. Abida says my husband will not spare me, nobody will help me. Zara says don’t worry, I am with you, and your husband will have to face me, not some weak woman, but me, give me your husband’s name and address, and I will find out who this man is.
Kabeer says to Imran that what does God want? Even this meeting went bad. Imran says nobody is ready to invest in the Project. Kabeer says we have to pay a lawyer too, Shahbaz is paying right now, but I have to give it back to him soon.
Meraj arrives there and greets Kabeer. Imran says how dare you come here??? Meraj says to Kabeer that you keep this puppy with you, are you still a Priest/Doctor of Islam??? Kabeer grabs him and says Meraj, I am a Doctor of Islam, and I don’t want bloodshed. Meraj says if you get bank loan by killing me, then do it. Meraj pushes him away and says you are not powerful, are you not feeling well or Zara is not taking care of you? Kabeer gets angry and beat him up.
Imran pushes him away and says don’t do this, it’s not worth it to have his blood on your hands, he will die on his own, he takes him away from there.
Kabeer and Imran comes home. Kabeer asks Zeenat where is Zara? Zeenat says Zara left home with Nilofar, she was in a hurry. Kabeer thinks and asks Imran to call her, Imran calls her, but she doesn’t pick up. Kabeer says she must have gone to meet Abida for the halala case, Imran calls her again. She picks up. He asks where is she? He says okay. Imran tells Kabeer that Zara is going to Irfan’s house. Kabeer says okay, I will pick her up in evening.
Kabeer is about to leave, but some men come to his house and says Priest Hashmi wants to meet you. Kabeer says I never met him. The Priest comes there, Kabeer kisses his hands.
The Priest/Doctor of Islam asks him to sit down, the Priest says I know everything about you, your pending divorce, your Sharia board issues and others. Kabeer says you can show me the right path. He says I can just suggest and bless you, you know I have many Schools, factories in the country where muslim people studies and work? Kabeer says I know everything.
The Priest says my mission is to help all my men to become capable to live a good life, but I am getting tired and I want to choose you take my mission ahead. Kabeer gets elated and says that would be my honour, let me call Shahbaz, The Priest says I will meet him later, I want to talk to you today.
Zara comes to Irfan and hugs him. Zara recalls how Abida said that my husband gave me divorce by saying it three times and left me and my girl alone, we had to face everything alone. Zara cries and says I feel for Abida, she will breakdown if she doesn’t get justice, please expedite her case. Irfan says sure.
The Priest, Kibla by name says to Kabeer that I will solve all your troubles, you just have to do one thing for me, it’s about Nikah halala, he tells him some information and says halala cases have placed a bad image of us, I want you to fight this halala case and fight it in favour of halala. Kabeer is stunned.
