Prabha rings the doorbell of Ginny’s house. Ginny opens the door. Prabha walks in directly. She tells Ratan that
Yash isn’t home yet. I have been calling you nonstop, but you aren’t picking it. Yash comes there. He is playing games on his phone. Prabha is shocked to see him there. Ratan tells her that Yash called him as he thought you won’t come to pick him up. Yash affirms it. Ginny aunty came to pick me up. Prabha says I won’t let you (Ginny), snatch my son away from me.
Gangaa is still wondering if Sagar understood her point? She puts oil in her hairs. Amma ji tells her against it. Gangaa says I am doing treatment for my hair. I have hairfall problem. A Doctor gave it to me. Amma ji checks it. Gangaa shares that it is Ayurvedic oil. You like Ayurvedic stuff. She explains the process of making it. Amma ji gets happy. Your hairs have become white. Use it so you won’t get old before your age. Amma ji tells her not to be smart. Apply it in my hairs later. I have to meet Vaid ji. She leaves.
Niru leaves the responsibility of Madhvi on Maharaj ji in his absence. He notices Madhvi’s sad face. Maharaj ji nods and leaves. Niru sits down to talk to Madhvi. You don’t have to stress yourself. You have to be always happy. Sagar and Gangaa comes there. Niru tells Sagar to stop. You won’t say anything to your mother right now. She is already worried. You did not think before saying all that. She is hurt by your words. Sagar holds his ears. I know you are upset / sad because of me. I know you love me a lot mummy. You will continue to love me equally even if I get a new brother or sister. I have understood it all. A mother loves all her kids equally. Please forgive me. I will never hurt you again. She wipes his tears. They share a hug. Niru looks at Gangaa. He is impressed by Sagar’s smartness. Who taught you this? Gangaa replies from his side. She takes Amma ji’s name. Amma ji explained to him how much Madam (Madhvi) loves him. Amma ji is very good. My Daughter-in-law can be angry with me, but it is my duty to look after everyone. Madhvi steps in. I ate this when Sagar and Pulkit were to be born. Now what? Amma ji says I didn’t say anything. It is up to her. She can do what she likes. Madhvi also replies. Amma ji is talking as if I have never listened to her. Mehri is tensed that there is still tension between both of them. Gangaa denies it. She says all the remaining anger will go away soon. She goes to prepare milk for Madhvi. Maharaj ji hopes happiness comes back to the house again.
Granny, Shanta asks for churan (Digestive Powder) from Maharaj ji? She sends him to get it. She checks the milk. Gangaa says it is for Madam (Madhvi). Amma ji has bought it for her. Anyone can do anything, but their fight will get over soon. It is not going to last. Gangaa goes outside. Granny, Shanta is irked with Gangaa. She is so young, but acts so clever with me. I will have to do something to keep my position intact. If not, my plan will ruin otherwise. Maharaj ji gives her churan. She sends him out again on the pretext of getting a rickshaw for her.
An old man notices a guy selling some fake medicines to people. He asks the guy why he is fooling people? The guy tells him to go. Granny, Shanta comes there. The guy calls out for her. She has come to the clinic (of that old man). The guy calls that old man thug. My medicines are better than his. Tell me the problem. I will get you a sure shot solution.
Gangaa tells Amma ji she should have given the milk to Madhvi at this time instead of reading the scripture. You should not lose out to your sister like this. Madam (Madhvi) loves you more than Granny, Shanta. Amma ji refuses to bend down before Madhvi. She is my Daughter-in-law. I haven’t stopped her from doing anything. I did everything during Pulkit and Sagar’s time. Gangaa says I don’t understand the relationship between a Mother-in-law and a Daughter-in-law. But I have seen you both as mother-daughter since I have come into this house. I don’t have a mother. I don’t know much about them, but there are a few things that I know. A mother should make her kids eat things with her own hands. If not, the kid will eat anything from outside. Amma ji tells her to focus on her work. I am not going to fall for your words. Gangaa thinks that Amma ji always tries to be strict, but that isn’t the reality. I know you will make milk for Madam (Madhvi). She goes out. Amma ji finds logic in Gangaa’s words. I won’t be at peace till I make my Daughter-in-law drink milk with my own hands. She is so careless! But no, I will not go. She will think I lost to her!
Granny, Shanta tells the guy that Madhvi is pregnant. Is there some medicine to make sure that the baby is healthy? He gives her one of his medicine. Give two spoons of it with milk twice in the day. Granny, Shanta looks at the bottle happily. See how I keep my position intact now!
FRIDAY UPDATE ON GANGAA, 11TH OF JANUARY 2019
Amma ji calls out for Maharaj ji. She asks if Madhvi took the milk? He tells her she took few sips as she doesn’t like the taste. Amma ji says she knew Madhvi would say that. Gangaa comes there and asks her why she’s feeling bad she took few sips from it. She tells Amma ji to go and feed her herself to show how much she loves her. Amma ji smiles and instruct Maharaj ji to make another milk. Gangaa smiles as well.
Sagar comes with Jalebi Prasad He asks her why she’s smiling? She tells him she wants to bring Madam and Amma ji back together. Sagar gives her Jalebi Prasad to hold and tells her he has an idea. Gangaa wonders what idea does Sagar have now? He comes back with the home phonebook and calls Granny, Santa’s home to come pick her up from here. Gangaa and Sagar smiles.
Granny, Shanta comes to the Kitchen. She sees Amma ji preparing milk and asks her who It’s for? Amma ji says Madhvi, but she forgets to add some digestive powder to it. She went out to pick it. Granny Shanta quickly adds the fake medicine to it and when Gangaa asks what she was up to? She tells Gangaa she’s preparing milk for Jalebi Prasad. Gangaa tells her that she doesn’t know her to joke. She gives Jalebi Prasad milk while Gangaa sits with him. Granny Shanta goes back to mix up the fake medicine in the milk while Gangaa watches from afar not sure what Granny, Shanta is up to with her back turned to Gangaa. Amma ji comes to pick the milk and stirs it together to give Madhvi. Sagar comes to call Gangaa. He asks her what’s wrong, she says nothing.
Madhvi is downstairs in the sitting room. She has stomach ache. Niru asks her if she has taken her drugs? She nods yes. He then asks Maharaj ji to get her water. Maharaj ji suggests he takes her out to watch a movie. Niranjan agrees with his suggestion. Madhvi coughs just then.
Amma ji comes with the milk and asks her to drink the milk since Maharaj ji said she didn’t take the earlier one.
Gangaa and Sagar talks about the Mother-in-law and Daughter-in-law’s love and affection even though they fight a lot. Niru asks his mother if it’s a plain milk, if not, what’s inside? She tells him of all what the Local Doctor prescribe for her. Niru tells her if truly is from the Doctor since he didn’t want to endanger his wife’s life?
Madhvi tells him not to worry that Amma ji also gave her this when she was pregnant with Pulkit and Sagar. She drinks it. Granny, Shanta looks on from afar and smiles.
Amma ji tells Niru that she might be old, but her Doctor gives her the right medicine and her stomach ache would go easily.
Madhvi feels serious pain. Everyone is worried except Granny, Shanta. Granny, Shanta comes to Madhvi and acts all worried. Niru calls the Doctor and takes her to the Hospital. The Doctor comes out and tells Niru that she took something poisonous. So, she lost the baby, but she’s going to be okay. The Doctor asked what she ate last night perhaps? Amma ji tells him she had milk prescribed from a local Doctor. The Doctor tells him he’s educated, so why did he allow it? Niru gets mad and insult his Mother in the process. Amma ji is in tears.
A Nurse comes and tells Niranjan his wife wants to see him. Niru removes his glasses as he cries.
Amma ji comes home crying a lot. Sagar and Pulkit asks her what has happened to their mother? Amma ji says nothing is wrong with their mother, but she has lost the baby. They are all sad. Sagar blames himself, thinking his attitude must have hurt his Mother a lot.
Granny, Shanta acts all worried. She thinks her fake medicine has killed the baby. She laters tells that Kanta, a widow was at fault for blessing the baby and doing the child’s baby shower. Gangaa asks why Amma ji’s blessing would cause anyone pain?
Amma ji tells her to be quiet! She agrees with what her Sister said and says she shoukdn’t have blessed the Child, that it all happened because of her. Granny Shanta rushes to the Kitchen and soliloquy thinking It’s good no one saw her mixing the fake medicine in the milk, and that the stupid guy sold a bad medicine for her. Gangaa sees her from afar and hides. Granny, Shanta throws the fake medicine in the dustbin and leaves. Gangaa picks the fake medicine from the dustbin and wonders why she threw it there in a hurry?
Gangaa comes to Amma ji’s room and asks her why she didn’t go for her morning bath? She notices Amma ji has a high fever. Amma ji begs her not to tell anyone about it. She tells Gangaa to get a Paper and a pen that she wants to write a letter. She tells Gangaa all what to write apologizing to her son and his family and that she would go away so they could be at peace.
Gangaa refuses to do it. Amma ji takes the pen and paper from her. I too can write. It hurts without specs, but I will write it. Gangaa begs her not to go. Everyone will be very sad to know about this. Please don’t go. Amma ji gives her the letter. Keep it on Madhvi’s dressing table. Gangaa leaves reluctantly.
