Preeta remembers what Karan said to her that she should never think of coming back and must forget that they were ever friends, She decides to leave, but thinking of what the women said that any differences that might arise will be swept away, she thinks that she should go in, but she’s worried on how she would accomplish it, as Karan never wants to see her face, she sees a group of Giddha dancers then calls one dancer, explaining that she needs her help, she explains the entire situation to her, the dancer says that she feels blessed to help her, then going back to the Car brings some clothes for her, then explains that she should wear it, as only then will she be able to come with them to the dance floor.
Akshay explains that he had request Kartika to not keep the fast, as she wouldn’t be able to bear the hunger, but she had to keep it for her own desires. Karan’s Grandma explains that it’s the right thing, as she knows of her rituals because the modern generation even ridicule the religious sentiments, so she is happy that Kartika is trying to fulfill all of them.
Mahira is looking at Karan from behind the corner, Rishab notices it and so feels akward, he goes to her, asking why she is worried? He asks if she was looking at Karan, but she explains that she was looking at Karan like a fan, he explains that she should go and tell Karan that she’s his fan and she likes him. Rishab gets worried, but she immediately explains that she only likes him as a fan. Mahira says that she feels Sherlyn is looking for him, but she is actually looking for Prithvi.
Sherlyn goes to Rishab, then Mahira tries to leave. Sameer also calls Rishabh. Mahira remembers she needs a photo of Karan to at least break her fast. She takes a photo of his, which makes Sherlyn suspicious.
Akshay comes asking for Karan’s help as Kartika is beating him, Karan explains that he will also beat him if he doesn’t listen to Kartika.
Karan gets a call and goes to answer the call, but looks at the Giddha dancers walking into the house. He feels that it’s Preeta behind the veil.
Shrishti is searching for her dress she decides to look into Preeta wardrobe, where she finds the cloth Preeta purchased at the Temple. She thinks that the red clothes are worn at the Karva Chaut fast, but Preeta wouldn’t have gotten it, so she might have been gifted by someone at the function which is happening at the Kumkum Bhagya hall, but she’s still confused as she feels it’s a private thing, since they are worn by those who keep the fast, she wonders where Preeta is and of she’s keeping fast for Karan?
Preeta is at the Luthra’s house, Karan is looking at her. She remembers how they got married, where he promised to always remain by his side.
Karan walks towards Preeta, but Kareena interrupts him, asking him what has happened to him, and the reason he’s looking at the dancers so intently? Sanjana asks what he is thinking of, and she explains that Karan constantly looking at them, doesn’t mean that he took a liking to any one of them, so they should talk with them. He leaves after which the dancers are taken inside.
Preeta sees Karan’s Grandma, so goes to take her blessings, the dancer explains that Preeta would ruin their function, then she explains that Karan’s Grandma has a resemblance to her grandmother, so she wanted to take her blessing. Karan’s Grandma gives her blessing which brings tears into her eyes.
Kartika is trying to apologize to Akshay but he is adamant that she should not have let Karan make fun of him! He tries to leave, but they bump into Mahira where Sameer also joins them.
Mahira, who witnessed Akshay scolding Kritika, takes Kartika away. Mahira tries to explain to Kartika that Akshay is not the right choice for him, as he isn’t the right guy for him, she adds that he’s way too dominating, then she asks her to at least think of herself.
Sherlyn spies on the both of them, and wonders why Mahira is acting as if she cares a lot for Kartika, she plans to keep an eye on her, as she doesn’t want another Preeta in the house.
Bi jee scolds Shrishti to come quickly, otherwise the call will end, she asks her to be fast, they both constipate that she is looking like a girl, since she always dresses like a boy. Shrishti gets mad, then she asks if she can pick the call, it is Renuka who explains that she has postponed the interview till Diwali, so they will have the interview then, Shrishti is left confused as Preeta said that she was going for the interview. Shrishti feels that Preeta might have gone to the Luthra house.
Shristi says that she will be back soon, as she has to go to her friend now, then she calls Sameer, whom she explains to that she is coming to his house, he pleads to her to not come, or he would be thrown out of the house, she explains the entire situation to him, that she found Preeta’s lunch in her bedside drawer. She tells Sammy that Preeta must be in the Luthra house to break her fast by Karan’s hands. Sameer gets very happy, as this would mean that they would have a new start to their relationship, he tries to look around for any sign of Preeta around the house, but she explains that they will both find out what is happening between Preeta and Karan.
Sameer after ending the call, thinks that he would not be seen in the house if Shrishti is with him, then he decides to look for Preeta himself.
Preeta is walking with the dancers, she sees Mahesh on the bed, Preeta wonders that she would never get any chance to meet with him again, so she goes to sit with him, she remembers what he said that he will come back to take her, as the daughter-in-law of the Luthra family, she explains that she will wait for him, as a lot has changed since his accident, she mentions that she knows that the person in the coma can’t hear a thing, but it’s not true when the hearts are together, she explains that she has also kept the fast, so he must get up and praise her for what she has done, as she is in dire need of his blessings, She apologizes that she’s not able to focus on anything and she isn’t even able to correct her own relationship with Karan, and not just her alone, but everyone needs him.
Sameer is in the function when he sees Shrishti entering the party, he wonders if she has gotten mad, then he calls her asking that she hides her face, she explains that she doesn’t fear anyone and so, she won’t cover her face, he explains that it’s because Kareena is also in the party and if she sees them together, then it will create a lot of problem.
Kareena sees her there. Shristi is about to spill that she came to find Preeta, but then thinks that it will cause problems for all of them, then she explains that Kareena can make a big deal of it and ruin the dinner or they can ignore her and let her meet Sammy. Shristi leaves the both of them and Kareena explains that these kind of situation results in a bad mood, so they both try to focus on their party.
Prithvi enters the party in disguise, wearing a headscarf, he bumps into Karan’s Grandma, she apologizes that she caused him to fall, she apologizes as well, and also helps him to get back up, he leaves after accepting the apology.
Prithvi goes to try and ask Sherlyn to speak with him, but she doesn’t understand that it’s Prithvi and scolds him, ordering that he leaves, he goes behind Mahira, then shows his face which immediately brings a smile to her face.
Sherlyn leaves Mahira by complaining that she doesn’t have time to waste on her.
Shrishti is with Sameer, asking where Preeta is? She explains that everyone has not covered their faces, then he explains that only the dancers have covered their faces, she asks where they all are.
In the meanwhile, Karan’s Grandma comes, asking that they all go to the terrace, as the moon has risen. Kareena comes asking Sameer to go and call the dancers, she also orders Shrishti to leave the party. Sameer advises that if Shrishti wants to be in the party, then she must hide her face and also change her clothes.
Shrishti takes up a cloth, as she doesn’t have the clothes she can change into, she’s in the hall way, she then tries to find Preeta, where she thinks that she might be in Mahesh room, as she has always wanted to meet him, due to his condition, she’s still thinking when she hears Karan coming, and quickly hides behind the wall. She follows Karan who is also heading towards Mahesh’s room.
Preeta touches Mahesh’s feet to take his blessings. Karan opens the door to check on his father, and gets shocked to see someone already there, he enters the room, asking who she is? She doesn’t answer. Shrishti wonders what she will do, as Karan walks towards her which make Preeta nervous.
Srishti shows up with a veil and says that she is one of the giddha dancers before taking Preeta away.
