Shrishti is crying in the Auto, she is thinking that Karan is supposed to take Preeta’s side, as he has given her so much pain, but she will ask him the reason and doesn’t care what anyone thinks of her, she plans to talk with Karan no matter what happens!
Karan comes into Mahira’s room asking if she is ready, she explains that she is nervous explaining that she wants his help, she then offers him tea which he takes after she insists, she then asks him if he is doing this and is also happy, otherwise it will be really bad, as he means the most to her, she then requests him to hug her, he obliges, but only as a friend, after which she apologizes, he again asks her to follow him, to which she explains that she will come after meeting the Doctor, he leaves the room.
Karan comes downstairs asking everyone to hurry up, Rishab asks about Mahira, he explains that she will come by herself, so they must all leave.
Sherlyn gets a call from Preeta’s lawyer, she wonders what she will do now? Kareena turns, asking her to come along with them, as everyone is waiting, but she says that she will come with her mother.
The lawyer is waiting in his car, Sherlyn comes outside the house, she sits in his car and immediately asks why he was continuously calling her? The lawyer explains that he has only taken half of his fees from Preeta only to keep them from going anywhere else, so he wants Sherlyn to give him his full fees, but Sherlyn refuses. The lawyer then reminds her that he’s the lawyer handling Preeta’s case, and she must know that in this capacity, he can mold the case and make anyone the criminal, hinting towards Sherlyn, which makes her nervous.
The lawyer threatens to manipulate the case in any direction if he desires, Sherlyn inquires if he’s trying to blackmail her? He assures that he’s only explaining what he’s capable of, so he can do whatever he wants, as he can win the case to make his reputation, or to make some money, but if he doesn’t get his money, then he will make sure that he wins the case, even if he has to go to any extreme!
The lawyer explains that he has some proof that will ruin her entire life, she gets worried, assuring him of fulfilling the deal. They are still talking when Shrishti comes, she is shocked to see the both of them together, she then decides to go and explain everything to Sarla.
Kareena is with her family, she explains that she will be relived once they win the case, Karan and Rishab also comes there, where they first greet Sarla who bars Karan from doing so.
The Lawyer of the Luthra family arrives and also points towards Karan, explaining that they are also from the same family. Karan’s Grandma orders Kareena to bring them, as they should be with their family, she is about to leave when Preeta is brought to the Court, everyone is shocked to see them.
Preeta comes in front of Karan, where Sarla explains that Karan has promised that she will be released, Rakhi also goes to Sarla which makes Ramona worried. Karan’s Grandma explains that she shouldn’t stop her, as Rakhi doesn’t want to believe what is visible.
The lawyer is worried that the soft corner might ruin their case! Karan’s Grandma assures him that she will control her daughter-in-law.
The Police takes Preeta inside, when Sarla is worried about where their lawyer is, he comes, then gets a call and explains that he has to take it, assuring that he will win the case.
Shrishti also comes explaining that she has something to tell them, she explains that their lawyer has switched sides and is working with Sherlyn, Sarla is worried about what they will do now. When the lawyer comes, Sarla slaps him really tight, and they all took turn in slapping him. Sarla says that he broke his promise of getting Preeta out of jail. The lawyer then explains that he will not take their case now, and will make sure that they lose the case!!
Sarla is crying when Karan comes asking about the reason for their worries, Shrishti explains that their lawyer has backstabbed them, and they do not have any lawyer now, he stops a passer-by lawyer, but when he sees Sarla more worried face, he explains that he has taken concrete steps in assuring them of Preeta’s release, and Mahira will also confess that there was a misunderstanding. Sarla is really impressed with him, so kisses him on the forehead, and as they thank him, he explains that he has done all this to impress all of them.
Everyone reaches the Court, but Preeta is worried about where her family members are? When they arrive, she also sees Karan.
Shrishti sees a man and is confused about his identity, then remembers that he was the one driving the truck on the day of the accident, Preeta is also worried about what will happen, and the reason he has come to the Court now.
The Inspector gets angry when he sees Shrishti with Preeta, she then sits, Janki explains that she’s really angry with Sherlyn, as she tried to ruin their case, so she goes to her to tell her that there is someone waiting for her just outside the Court. When she leaves, Janki also goes after her, Shrishti is wondering the reason Janki went after her?
Sherlyn is wondering why the lawyer is calling her, Janki comes from behind, and Sherlyn asks the reason she’s spying on her?? Janki explains that she asked Sarla to come with her, but she didn’t want to hit the filthy mud, which Sherlyn doesn’t like, then she tries to hit Janki back, when she was slapped, but Shrishti stops her in time, explaining that she should never think of harming her family members, as they all know what kind of a person she is, so she’s warning her to never think of slapping her family members ever again!
Sherlyn isn’t able to understand anything, so she asks her what she really means by that? Shrishti explains that they all know that she has bribed their lawyer to lose the case, but they will make sure that everyone sees what kind of a person she actually is, once the case is ove! Sherlyn is really tensed, hearing how adamant they both are in exposing her.
Shrishti explains that Sherlyn is just afraid that if Preeta is released from jail, then she would be thrown out of the Luthra house,
Sherlyn asks them to think whatever they want, since it’s too late now. Janki mentions that she’s not aware of what they know. Shrishti then explains that they have hired a new lawyer, and on hearing this, Sherlyn is left stunned. Shrishti then points towards the lawyer that they have dismissed, she then explains that she will now do something that will not harm her baby, then stump on her foot before leaving.
The lawyer also turns after hearing Sherlyn’s scream, Sherlyn thinks of taking revenge on the both of them, after what they did to her, she then goes to the lawyer and slaps him, he asks what she is doing? She explains that she had paid him, and has also thought of giving him a slap.
Karan is trying to call Mahira, but it isn’t connecting, Sameer comes explaining that the Judge has arrived, they are both worried, as Mahira isn’t accepting the call, then Sherlyn comes there limping. Sameer asks for the reason, to which Sherlyn explains that Mahira might have changed her mind, and she isn’t coming, and hearing this, Sameer takes Karan away.
Everyone enters the Court, when the Court proceedings start, Sherlyn is shocked to see the Truck driver, but when they all take their seats after the Judge, the Prosecutor explains that the case is based on personal grudges and somehow, his client, Mahira isn’t present, but will come really soon.
Sherlyn threatens to have the driver locked up, if he doesn’t leave, to which he explains that it was her that was behind the accident, so why does she want to blame him? Sherlyn promises to pay him money the next day if he leaves immediately. He leaves.
Preeta sees the both of them together and wonders why Sherlyn is talking to him, and suspects Sherlyn is up to something.
The Prosecutor blames Preeta, explaining that she had always hated Mahira, and so tried to kill her, he then asks the defendant to raise his questions, but the Lawyer is really nervous, and he isn’t able to present his stance properl, which leaves everyone in confusion.
There is a debate amongst Sameer and Risahb, even Sarla and Shrishti are also worried about the credibility of the lawyer, but Sarla is optimistic that they will win the case, since he was just hired.
The lawyer then corrects his statement, explaining that his Client, Preeta is innocent. The Judge inquires if he has any knowledge regarding the case, as it doesn’t seem so? The lawyer, Ravi is nervous and tensed. Sherlyn has a grin on her face.
Sarla gets up, explaining that their lawyer left their case at the very last moment, so they just hired him, and it would be really good if he gives them a chance, so the Judge explains that he will give them one hour to prepare for the case.
Kareena is wondering about the promise that Karan might have made to Mahira to have forced her to change her mind. Rishab asks the lawyer to withhold the hearing of the case, as the one who has filled the complaint will come and take back the case.
Karan is about to meet Preeta, but she’s stopped by the Inspector. Shrishti comes and when she whispers something in his ears, the Inspector grants him the permission in, when Karan asks about what she said, she explains that she told him that she has a video showing that he is a corrupt officer, karan explains that he feels that she will never correct her ways.
Karan enters the room, where Preeta is sitting. Seeing Karan, Preeta says that she is not worried. She is sure that Karan will get her out of jail. Karan is surprised that even after mistreating Preeta numerous times, she still trusts him to get her out of trouble, so he asks why she trusts what he is saying even when he was the one that wronged her? She explains that she still trusts him.
