Drishti and Madhvi are busy making preparations for Janamashtami. Amma ji tells Mehri to do her work nicely. The landline rings. It is Sudha. She invites Amma ji and her family to the Ashram for the Janamashtami’s function. Amma ji is more than happy to go. We do it every year and will come this year as well. Sudha shares that a lot many other programs have been organized this time. Please be on time. Amma ji agrees.
Gangaa is excited to know about Janamashtami. I used to celebrate it in my village too. My Bappa used to take me to the temple. Sagar enters just then. He exchanges cold glances with Gangaa. Drishti asks them if they had a fight? Gangaa denies it. He has started to learn how to fight nowadays. Sagar and Gangaa bicker over today’s incident. They both point fingers at each other. Gangaa calls him arrogant. Amma ji reprimands Gangaa for talking to Sagar like that.
Amma ji reprimands Gangaa for talking to Sagar like that. Madhvi diverts the topic. Help me in making sweets if you have washed your hands. Sagar makes an angry face. Amma ji has plans for Janamashtami. I have got a beautiful crown for you. He heads upstairs showing no interest in any of it. Amma ji is irked with Gangaa for spoiling Sagar’s mood.
At night, Amma ji scolds Gangaa. It won’t work the way you talk to Sagar. She tries to tell him everything, but Amma ji is in no mood to listen to her. She blindly takes Sagar’s side. I won’t listen to anything against him. Gangaa reasons that she loves him blindly, which is why he has become spoilt. He stays in the wrong company. Amma ji retorts that she is no one to tell her about how much she should love her grandson. You will compare yourself to him!
She mutters to herself as she lies down to sleep. Gangaa makes up her mind to defeat Sagar.
Raghubir is sure they will win. We have selected a new song. Cancel the old one. We will perform on Vande Mataram. The girls are participating to the same song. They are doing very good. I will book this song on our team’s name. No team gets to repeat the song. We will perform before them. It will be fun to watch them lose! The organizer stands helpless.
The girls practise their dance steps. Gunwanti applauds them. We will win if we continue working this hard. Gunwanti has to go to Principal Madam’s room for some urgent work. The girls resume practise.
Gunwanti tells Principal Ma’am that the girls are doing very well. They will win if they continue doing so. Principal Ma’am declines. You will have to go home right away as your mother has passed away. Gunwanti is in tears. Principal Ma’am comforts her.
Gangaa tells Bulbul that she is doing it wrong. Bulbul refuses to follow her. Gangaa says I am only doing what Madam ji has taught us. You can ask her when she comes. Principal Ma’am comes to inform them that Gunwanti Ma’am cannot come now.
Sagar tells his dance teacher that he has mastered all the steps. You will be very happy to see it. Raghubir plays the new song on which they will now be dancing to. The kids look puzzled. Sagar points out that this isn’t their song. Raghubir tells them that they will perform to this song only now. We have to defeat those girls. Don’t you want to teach them a lesson for their bad behaviour? The kids cheers in unison.
Principal Ma’am shares that it is important for Gunwanti ji to be at her home at the moment. Gangaa is worried about their dance practise and victory. Bulbul is happy though.
At home, Gangaa thinks of Principal Madam’s words as she folds all the clothes and keeps them nicely. Madhvi notices the plate of fruits. Why didn’t you eat anything on your fast? Gangaa isn’t hungry. She shares the problem with Madhvi. Sagar too hears her. Now your team will lose surely! Madhvi tells him not to talk negatively. Gangaa is already sad. Madhvi suggests Gangaa to pray to Kanha ji. He always listens to kids. Gangaa agrees. I will surely pray for help as I also doesn’t like losing! Ammaji notices Sagar’s sad face while entering inside the room. Did Gangaa say anything? Sagar denies it, but Gangaa accepts it. I said something, but didn’t fight. You (Sagar) don’t have to lie for me. I will do everything. Let us go Madhvi. We have to do preps for the puja (Prayer). Gangaa leaves followed by Madhvi.
Maharaj ji is humming a bhajan while working in the kitchen. Gangaa asks him to sing more. Madhvi ji comes to tell him of the sweets in the boxes. Gangaa tells her to rest for a while as she looks tired. I have to take care of you in Sir’s absence. Gangaa seeks Madhvi’s permission to go to school in the evening. Gunwanti Ma’am isn’t there, so we need to practise more. Madhvi agrees, but Amma ji tells her against it. Don’t forget that you have to give utmost importance to the rules of a widow life. Praying to God is the most important thing for a widow! Gangaa gives in. Madhvi asks Gangaa about it? Gangaa cannot make Amma ji upset just to go for a dance practise.
Janamashtami puja is going on. Reena comes there as well. She throws a flower at Gangaa. Gangaa is too occupied with the puja (Prayer) so she does not notice her initially, but goes out to talk to Reena on the second time.
Reena had followed her all the way here. Gangaa cannot join her for practise as she has come with everyone for the puja (Prayer). She sends Reena as Amma ji might get upset otherwise.
Sudha is dancing to a bhajan. Gangaa watches her keenly. Everyone does puja (Prayer) one by one. Amma ji talks about Sudha. She makes so many preps for Janamashtami every year. She dances so beautifully that people get smitten. Pishi Ma adds that Sudha is very talented in music and dance. Gangaa is glad as Madhvi was right. Kanha ji listens to kids really soon. Thank you!
Sudha sings the bhajan. Everyone starts singing with her. Gangaa keeps stealing glances at her.
Shankar and MLA see the CCTV footage. They see Gangaa and Solanki in there. Solanki is shown keeping the CD inside her bag. Shankar couldn’t see her face clearly though, so they check the footage from another camera. Shankar recognises her to be the same girl who had created a buzz the other day. I have seen her at Niru’s house. MLA is shocked. The goon too has seen her there. MLA advises them to question the girl or kidnap her if she does not reply. No one else should get hold of that CD. Shankar assures him that he will do anything and everything possible to either get that girl or the CD. MLA reminds him that his name should not get involved in any of this. The elections are near. Shankar promises him that he
will do it smoothly. He tells the goon to find out about Gangaa’s location at the moment.
The girls are practising dance. Mrs. D’Souza is simply sitting, watching something on her phone and eating. Bulbul finds them doing it wrong. She asks Madam if they can go home? Gunwanti ji isn’t here and neither is Gangaa here. We were called here because of her and she isn’t here! Mrs. D’Souza tells her against it. We have to follow what Ma’am says. Bulbul gets an idea. So many sweets have been made at my home on the occasion of Janamashtami. Shall I bring them tomorrow? Mrs. D’Souza nods.
Everyone is ready to leave for home. Gangaa had gone back to bring Madhvi’s phone. She had probably forgotten it at the Ashram. MLA’s goons notice Gangaa. They start following her. Madhvi gets down asking Gangaa to join them. MLA’s goons turn their face to the other side. Gangaa sits inside the car with Madhvi and they all leave. MLA’s goons hope that Shankar finds something so they don’t have to kidnap the girl.
Chaturvedi Sadan is in a mess. Shankar and two other guys are searching the house for that particular CD. One of the guys coincidentally drops the CD in Sagar’s room. Shankar sends him to the other room and steps over that CD. He does not pay heed to it. None of the men could find the CD anywhere. Shankar is about to see a photo on the wall (photo of Amma ji and Sagar) when Amma ji and everyone returns home. Shankar hears their voices. He sends his goons out.
Amma ji and everyone is shocked to see the house all ransacked. Amma ji and Maharaj ji notices torch light upstairs. Maharaj ji goes upstairs, but they have left by then. He shares that it is all mess upstairs too. Amma ji is worried thinking what all might have gotten stolen. Gangaa points out those thieves know no one keeps money and expensive stuff here. They might have come to look for something in particular. Sagar wonders if someone is still hiding inside the house? Madhvi assures him that everyone has left. Amma ji asks Madhvi to call Pulkit.
Police checks the house. They find no one in the house. Nobody has seen the face of anyone. They didn’t come to steal as everything is in its place. What can be the reason? Maharaj ji requests him to deploy a few of his Men here. Niru is out of town. It will be a relief if some of your
Men stay here. Inspector tells them to register an FIR and ask for protection. Pulkit takes up the task. He leaves to meet Raghav ji. Amma ji asks Maharaj ji to close all the windows.
Amma ji asks about Gangaa from Maharaj ji. Gangaa says I woke up before you. I have made all the preps for the puja (Prayer) and you too. Amma ji is impressed, but doesn’t show it. Gangaa agrees to go to the temple today as well, as she always asks her to follow the rules of a widow life.
Sagar and Yash are practising to their song. Yash is tired. He switches off the music when he notices Gangaa coming upstairs. Yash does not want Gangaa to find out which song they are dancing to. He says the same to Sagar. Gangaa says she is anyways not interested in finding out about their song. I won’t steal your song. Let me find the new dance teacher once, and then we will see who wins in the competition! Yash laughs at her. Find the dance teacher first. She tells him that she will do it. She leaves. Yash is as usual irked by her.
Gangaa comes to Ashram. She finds Sudha washing clothes. She dances so well. She can teach us girls how to dance, but I will have to try really hard to make her agree to it. Sudha is surprised to see her. Aren’t you scared of coming here alone? What if I get your hair cut? Gangaa was scared previously, but she now knows she (Sudha) only speaks bitter, but has a very good heart. She helps Sudha in drying clothes. You dance very well. Everyone was praising you including Amma ji. Sudha asks her to get to the point. You are praising me, helping me. You certainly want something. I will always be indebted to you for what you did in Omkar’s case along with Madhvi. It doesn’t mean I like you though. I don’t like the way you ignore the rules of a widow life. I am not going to fall for your words. Gangaa realises that Sudha isn’t going to listen to her so easily.
Gangaa follows Sudha inside. She sits down to knead the floor. Gangaa offers to do it, but fails. Sudha asks her to come to the point right away. Gangaa asks her to become her dance teacher. We have no one who can teach us as our dance teacher’s mother has passed away. Sudha shows Gangaa the door. You are doing wrong and want me to do it too. It doesn’t suit widows to do all this. I don’t want to ruin my life because of you. Leave!
The PT Teacher takes over the task of teaching the girls dance. She teaches them in her typical style. Gangaa points out that Gunwanti Madam was teaching them differently. PT Teacher has been forced to teach them by the Principal Madam. I didn’t want to do it, but had to do it. Principal Madam says I am not telling you to teach them something new. Gunwanti Madam has taught them already. You just have to check if they are doing it right or not. We cannot call another dance teacher, so this is how the kids will have to practise. She leaves. PT Teacher is irked with Gangaa for she got stuck in the situation because of her. Lunch break is announced, so she leaves. Bulbul too complains to Gangaa. Dance cannot happen without a dance teacher. Gangaa retorts that she will find a way. She asks Reena and Neha to
come with her. They both willingly agree and all the other girls join her too except Bulbul and her gang.
Gangaa and the girls reach the Ashram. Sudha scolds Gangaa and the other girls to go. Gangaa stays put. I will not move from here if you don’t agree! Sudha doesn’t mind it, but Gangaa repeats that no girl will leave unless she agrees. Pishi Ma comes there to ask her about the commotion. Gangaa asks her if it is wrong to dance to a patriotic song? Pishi Ma shakes her head. Gangaa keeps asking her more questions. It is like dancing for the love of God. Is it wrong to teach dance to such a song? Pishi Ma stops Sudha from interrupting Gangaa. Gangaa sticks to her plan. Tell Sudha that teaching dance isn’t wrong. Pishi Ma too tries to make Sudha understand. These girls needs help. It is not a bad thing to teach them the dance to such a song. Sudha stays put. The girls sit down in the ashram now. Pishi Ma stops Sudha from reacting. She later smiles at Gangaa when Sudha walks away in a huff.
A widow tells Gangaa and the girls that Sudha won’t agree. Sudha comes there. The girls pleads with her, but she shouts at them to be quiet. Pishi Ma asks Sudha if she will ever ask her to do something wrong? Listen to their song for once. You can decide if you want to do it or not then. What’s the harm in helping them with your talent? They’ve bern here since. They are tired, but they haven’t given up. The girls pleads with Sudha sweetly. Pishi Ma asks Sudha if she won’t listen to her? They will give you loads of good wishes. You have always helped others. You must have learnt it from some Guru (Teacher). These girls need a Guru. Why are you declining? The girls request Sudha in unison. Sudha gives in. Gangaa thanks her. Sudha clears it to her that she is doing it only for Pishi Ma. Gangaa still says thank you to her before leaving for home.
