Jodha wants to meet Jalal, the Soldier says nobody is allowed, but Jodha still went in. She comes to Jalal who says you shouldn’t be here. Jodha says same goes for you. He says I am not in mood to talk so go. Jodha says do you remember your birthday, gift and people’s blessing? Jalal says I do but these blessing are not with me now, they are hating me for this rule. Jodha says hate is for Adham, Jalal says they only blame the King.
Jodha says so you should tell them that Adham is wrong not you, Jalal says I can’t. Jodha says but Ruqaiya can, Jalal ask meaning? Jodha says we have to do something so that the Culprit is caught and you are free also. People like to see you and Ruqaiya together, so when Ruqaiya will put her points in front of people, they will listen to her, in this way, your point will reach the people and you will not have to come in front. Jalal is thoughtful.
Jalal comes to Ruqaiya and says I got a solution, you will address people and they will get emotional, then we will do what we want. Ruqaiya ask why don’t you address them? Jalal says their cherished Queen will address them. Ruqaiya is confused.
Jalal ask Adkha to inform people that Ruqaiya wants to address them. He thinks that I have to see whether jodha’s idea will work.
The news of Ruqaiya addressing the people spread like wildfire. Jodha and Ruqaiya meets. Jodha smiles. Ruqaiya says you are happy seeing me like this? Ruqaiya says to Jodha that my relationship is at stake because of you, I will give you much more pain then you have given me! she leaves.
Ruqaiya comes to the nation and address that
I am thankful that you loved me. I always thought of of your welfare. Some traditions are hurdles in process of success of the nation and one is early marriages of girls. That’s why Jalal has made this rule so that you people will understand your girls, then marry them off, but Adham pointed finger at our marriage that it was done in our childhood, so to set example, Jalal will give me divorce tomorrow.
The People chants against Adham. Ruqaiya thanks them for their love. The People becomes raged and shouts Adham must be killed! The entire nation starts revolting against Adham that he was a traitor for separating their favourite Queen from their King of Kings!
In his room, Adham is furious that the people is against him and revolting against him. There is shouts Adham Khan must be Killed!!! Maham tries her best to stop him, but he refuses, as he is not a coward and he could face any crowd. Maham then gives him her swear and hides him, she warns him not to come out, as the entire nation has turned against him and they are demanding his blood. They want Adham to be handed over to them
Adkha Khan is preparing for the security of the fort. The Citizens talk that they were very happy with their wives, so why should they divorce their wives because of Adham??
Maham Anga gets hit by a stone that the people throws at the Palace demanding for Adham.
Inside, Hameeda tells Jalal that his rule had created rage in the people, this is not right. Jalal is angry to watch his Aunt hit by angry people , He wants to speak to the nation. Hameeda warns him against it and does not permit him in adressing the people during this revolt.
Jodha comes to Ruqaiya and says that Jalal has gone out to address the nation which is in rage, they have hit Maham Anga as well. Ruqaiya says so what?? She is paying for her Son’s deeds. Jodha says Jalal is angry things are getting out of hands. Ruqaiya says he is trying to save our marriage, why are you so worried? Jodha ask her to understand the matter, but Ruqaiya says that you want jalal to divorce me. Jodha says people are angry, Ruqaiya says that only Jalal can control them and the people don’t have the guts to hit Jalal.
Jalal is taking Maham Anga to people, Jodha says first, give her aid. Jalal says she is strong enough and leaves. Jodha prays.
Jalal comes out of the Palace to people and shout who threw stone at my Aunt?? Throwing stone at the Chief minister is like throwing it at the King of Kings. If you want ro beat me, but what’s her fault, that she is the mother of Adham Khan, she is also my mother, so hit me.
One man says we need Adham Khan to be here. Maham Anga says if they want me in place of Adham Khan, then I am ready. Jalal says no, it’s not right. People chants to give Adham to them.
Adkha stops them and says you all know that Jalal always thought of the best for you, he gave you justice and trust me, he will do the same this time as well. One man says I am on the edge of dying when asked to divorce my wife, what justice is this?? Another says we will leave the Mughal sulatnat. Jalal says laws are for everyone which is why I am divorcing Ruqaiya even with the fact that I like her, so you also need to follow this law.
One Man says don’t divorce Ruqaiya, change this rule, we will leave after it. Jalal says I’ve listened to your demand, but by doing this, nothing will be sorted, so give your King of Kings sometime, I will discuss with the Ministers, till then, you all should maintain peace. Jalal leaves, but people still demand for Adham Khan.
Adham Khan is sneaking out of the Palace, the soldier says Tasnim’s house is near, you can take her, but informs him it’s not safe for him to go because people are very angry and it can be very dangerous for you. He screams saying he is not scared of the nation!! He was about to go out when Maham Anga comes and stops him. She tells him not to go out, he’s still adamant to go out, she takes him out and shows how angry people are, so he is not going out.
Adkha Khan comes to Jalal who says that I dont want people to stay outside in cold weather, so bring urgent call to the Court.
Jalal is present in the Court, Adham Khan comes.
Jalal says I thought a lot about you, you hurt Ruqaiya, he had decided to hand him over to the nation, who would decide what to do with him. Maham Anga says no, she sits on the ground and says pardon him, he is my child, Jalal says that’s why I have always pardoned him, but he insulted me in full Court, called my marriage illegal, I can’t forgive him now.
Maham Anga says you are right, but please pardon him, all are stunned to see this of Maham. Maham Anga says kill him with your hands, but don’t leave him on people, l they will disrespect him. Jalal says he himself has chosen this. Maham Anga says he never wanted all this, he never wanted you and Ruqaiya’s divorce. She ask Adham to speak, but he is silent.
Maham says speak up! Adham Khan then says I never wanted your divorce, I only wanted to marry Tasnim, but why this disrespect for me? Jalal says because you insulted rules, if I wish, I would have beheaded you, but I want to set example that who ever goes against the King of Kings, his end will be like this! Your arrogance is crushed today, I am forgiving you once again because of Maham Anga but your punishment will be decided by Ruqaiya.
Ruqaiya goes to Jalal and says you are my husband, friend and King also, so I accept whatever punishment you will give him. She sits with Jalal who announce that he is taking back the ministry of Malwa from Adham, he will not be allowed in special Court, all your powers have been snatched away and you will be considered as a common man. He orders Adkha Khan to take Adham Khan into custody. The Soldiers arrest him and takes him away. While Maham Anga looks on helplessly.
Jalal comes out again at the gate of the Palace and addresses the people that I don’t want people to sit here hungry, so I have taken a decision. They chant for Jalal.
Adkha Khan reads the new law that
from today, early marriages will not be allowed in sulatnat, but this law will be applied from today and not related with earlier marriages, so jalal is not divorcing Ruqaiya.
The Nations are happy and cheers for Jalal and Ruqaiya. They ask what about Adham Khan, Jalal says he has got his punishment. He is not a Minister anymore, he has been arrested and will not be allowed in Court. Jalal says this rule has been made for people’s betterment. He leaves. The People are satisfied and leaves.
Maham Anga is with Reshem. She asks him how long it takes to make one official order? He says more than a day. Maham realizes that this was all planned as Adkha Khan had official written order when he told the people the decision. She says all were involved-Ruqaiya, Jodha and Jalal, they have decided before and played this game. Maham is very angry on Jodha and says why I feel all this could happened because of her????
Jodha is praying to Kanha, Hamida comes.
Jalal is sitting when Jodha comes from behind. He says I was waiting for you, because of Adham Khan, I didn’t rest, so I want you to massage my head. Jodha reluctantly starts doing it. Jalal ask your hands feels soft today Ruqaiya. Jodha stops, Jalal looks up and says sorry, I thought it’s Ruqaiya, but your hands are soft.
Jodha starts doing the massage, Jalal says Ii think you don’t know how to massage, Jodha says you are at the wrong place and ask him to sit on a small stool, she sits on the bed and does his massage. Jalal says you are multi talented, once someone challenges you, you just prove him wrong.
Ruqaiya comes and says maybe I disturbed you both. Jalal says she came here to talk. Jodha says it’s not important, I will talk later and thinks maybe Ruqaiya’ didnt like us together. She goes.
Jalal says when she came, my eyes were closed and I thought it was you. Ruqaiya says strange, you used recoginize my presence, she is the one who tried to get us divorced. Jalal says you should be thankful to her than hate, she is the one because of whom we didn’t get divorced. He says the idea was hers. Ruqaiya remembers addressing people. Ruqaiya says oh God! I told her so many things, I was wrong. Jalal says I also misunderstood her, if you think she is good, then talk to her.
Maham comes to jail and ask the soldier to beat Adham, the soldier compiles, Maham says if he ask who ordered it, so tell my name. Resham ask what you did? He is your Son. Maham Anga says make sure they hurt Adham Khan regularly. Maham Anga says because of this, nobody else will order to beat him and this is the way for Jodha’s destruction as well!
Ruqaiya comes to Jodha. They greet each other. Jodha says I know you are angry with me. Ruqaiya says I am not, I misunderstood you, I thought you were using Adham to separate me from Jalal, but Jalal told me everything. Jodha says I am happy everything is clear. Ruqaiya ask her to open the box, she opens it and it is a beautiful diamond. Ruqaiya says I hope you like it, Jodha says you gifted with love, so Ii always like it. Ruqaiya is about to leave, but Jodha stops her and says like you have sacred threads in mazars. We also have threads, can I tie it on your wrist? Ruqaiya allows it. Jodha shed tears, Ruqaiya ask reason? Jodha says tears falls in happiness as well. Today you talked with me very nicely. Ruqaiya says who thinks for my own good, I always talk nicely with them.
Some Painter draws the painting of Jodha, Shariffuden comes and says beautiful, you have done a wonderful job. He says to extend his hand for a gift. The Painter does so, Shariffudden cuts his fingers and says it is for the thing that you never paint it again. Shariffuden says Jalal snatched everything from me. Abul mali is also against Jalal, so enemy’s enemy is a friend.
Here, Jalal gets to know from Atga khan that abul mali and Shariffuden have shook hands against him and are preparing to attack. Jalal says to order Munim Khan to attack them and have a battle.
Voicover– Munim did war with Mali and Shariffuden and won it for Jalal, Mali ran away, but Shariffuden is caught by Munim.
