Some Painter draws the painting of Jodha, Shariffuden comes and says beautiful, you have done a wonderful job. He says to extend his hand for a gift. The Painter does so, Shariffudden cuts his fingers and says it is for the thing that you never paint it again. Shariffuden says Jalal snatched everything from me. Abul mali is also against Jalal, so enemy’s enemy is a friend.
Here, Jalal gets to know from Atga khan that abul mali and Shariffuden have shook hands against him and are preparing to attack. Jalal says to order Munim Khan to attack them and have a battle.
Voicover– Munim did war with Mali and Shariffuden and won it for Jalal, Mali ran away, but Shariffuden is caught by Munim.
In court, Atga present Shariffudden, he comes in and looks at Jodha. Jalal ask why did you play such a cheap game with me and Jodha? And involved Bakshi as well? Shariffudden says because I hate Rajvanshi, I hated them when you got married to her, but didn’t say anything then. But I can’t accept her as a Queen. Jalal says it’s only me who decide who should be my Queen, I punished you by snatching your Ministry, but for betrayal, you are sentenced to live in jail! And will be given punishments of betrayer. They take him away.
Jalal praises Munim and gives him the position that he will control forces from onwards. Jalal makes him wear the turban. Maham imagines Adham in Munim, but gets sad seeing Munim instead.
Bakshi is crying, Jodha hugs her, Bakshi says I knew it that jalal will find him. He deserves it. Jodha ask you? Bakshi says I will not take his side this time, I will not meet him but I can ask you, how was he? Jodha says he is alright, she thanks Jodha.
Resham comes crying to Maham. Maham ask whether he beat Adham? Resham says yes. Maham says do one more thing, just kill that soldier who hurt Adham my son, Resham is stunned and says okay. Maham with furiosity in her eyes says it’s all because of that Jodha, she turns out to be very clever, she made me cry of blood tears but now, I will make her life hell, I will take my revenge!!
Moti brings the night dress for Jodha and ask in which thoughts you are? Jodha says I am thinking about Bakshi, why love is blind? It just grabs man, then there is no limits and the right thing. See Bakshi, she knows her husband is a criminal but she cries for him, Jodha ask why love is so complicated? Moti says I don’t know, Moti ask did you talk to Jalal? Jodha says I did meet him, but couldn’t talk, but all talks have their time, else it looses their essences.
Jodha says to Moti to bring pen and paper, Moti ask for whom you want to write a letter? Jodha says to Jalal, the thing which I couldn’t say to him directly, I will tell him writing it down.
Shariffudden is being taken to jail. He is locked in same lock-up where Adham is present. They both are shocked to see each other. Shariffuden says I purposely didn’t run from battlefield because I wanted to remain near to Agra to snatch the throne. Adham ask what if Jalal had killed you? Shariffudden says he couldn’t because of his Sister.
Jodha writes a letter to Jalal that
I am very happy about your decision for Tasnim and also proud. I wanted to praise you, but couldn’t get the chance. I am very satisfied with your law. Your Queen Jodha.
She ask Moti to give it to Jalal.
Here, Jalal is with Maham Anga who says I am very sad that your own betrayed you. Jalal says it’s nothing new for a King. But the King should know who is your friend or enemy. Jalal says both Adham and Shariffudden are warriors but both betrayed me.
Moti comes in and gives the letter to Jalal. Jalal says she could have come herself, why this letter? He ask Maham to read the letter. Maham says I can’t, it’s hubby wife matter. Jalal says you are not an outsider. Jalal says to Maham that you know I can’t read, jodha have written letter for me, so can you read it? Maham thinks this is my chance. She reads
I am very happy with your decision about Tasnim. I couldn’t get the chance to talk, but I am very satisfied. She reads on that what Wife wants from husband, you did that, and now, iI want to fulfill what husband wants from Wife. I want you to come tomorrow to my room. I accept that I love you.
Jalal smiles shyly. Maham ends the letter. Maham says congrats, she accepted you. Jalal says I am stunned that you are not sad because of Adham. Maham says i am happy for my other son, you. He leaves. Maham says tomorrow night will be interesting.
Maham comes to Jalal the next morning. She informs him about Ram dhanu who is an excellent singer for the Ceremony. Jalal permits. Maham smiles cunningly and leaves
The Priest Ram dhanu receives the invitation. King Riwa naresh orders him to go to the Mughal Court.
Great singer Raam pandey accepts Jalal’s invitation to show his singing talent in Agra’s Palace. All are happy in the Palace. Hamida says to Jiji that I hope this brings Jalal-Jodha closer.
Maham says to resham that magic will happen, but what I want will only happen.
Jodha is happy and excited for the singer. She says it’s great that an hindu singer is invited.
Voiceover– Raam Pandey enters the Palace to get new name ‘Taan sen’. He even didn’t know that he will come here. Atga comes and greets him. Raam sees Peacock and gets happy. He sits and plays his sitar (instrument), the peacock opens his feather listening to the music. He stops and goes and enters the Court.
Ruqaiya says he is very elegant. Some singers are singing. Raam stops them saying this is not the right time to sing these notes. He comes to Jalal. Jalal says you are same as what I’ve heard about you. Raam says same goes for you. Jalal says will listen to you tonight. For time being gone, have some rest.
Raam says I am here to sing and on my King’s order. There is enough place to rest in my King’s place also. Jalal says seems you don’t like Agra’s weather. Raam says you guess very well. He says I will leave now.
Jodha says to the Servant that he is very elegant, make special arrangements for tonight. Jalal comes and says I am happy you are excited for tonight. Jalal says the artist are good but a little weird. Jodha says they are like the one standing in front of me. Jalal says at least in taunt, you appreciated me. Jodha says thank you for inviting him. Jalal says I am happy that you are happy. Jodha says maybe the invitation was yours, but the idea wasn’t. Jalal says how you can say that? Jodha says music is not your field of interest.
Jalal then tells her about the beats of horse riding, the best of was drums. The marching of soldiers. Jodha is impressed But says music is not limited to that. She adds that music is all around them in nature in the world, in sunrise, in the flowing rives, in payal, etc. Jalal then praises Jodha for her knowledge of music.
Jodha says all limits would be broken tonight (Jodha talks of the singing of Raam in the Ceremony tonight ). Jalal too says he was waiting for tonight when all limits would be crossed (Jalal is thinking of the letter written by Jodha, telling him she loved him. Inviting him to her room to spend the night with her).
Javeda is crying and says to Maham that my husband has been sent to jail and you didn’t inform me. Maham says I don’t want you to get worried. It’s better I also go to jail, why didn’t you stop Jalal? Jalal should have allowed him to marry Tasnim. Maham says you are ready to go in celebration and my Son is suffering in jail. Javeda ask how is he there, Maham says don’t worry, I will take him out soon. Javeda cheers up saying I knew it and now, I will show you my colourful dresses.
Maham looks around for resham when she appears replying the singer Ram dhanu had refused to meet Maham. Resham wants to know what was so important for Ram dhanu for her? Maham replies that he would do that which no one else could in the lives of Jodha-Jalal.
Maham then goes to meet Raam herself, He is disturbed during his riyaaz and reprimands her. Maham ask Raam to present something special tonight, Raam says I don’t sing on orders. Maham Anga thinks it will not be better for your family then, Raam says I know what’s in your mind, you will hurt my family, go and tell Jalal that I will not sing tonight. Maham Anga changes her tone and says you are a great singer, please present the song which touches the soul of people tonight, I want Jalal to sink in river of love and emotions. Raam ask in whom’s love?
Maham Anga says his wife Jodha, I want you to sing the song which brings them closer and we will get heir of Mughal sultanat. Raam is thoughtful.
Jalal comes to the Court, all greets him. He sees Raam sitting with sitar (instrument) and has his eyes closed, lost in his own world. Jodha thinks Raam didn’t greet Jalal, maybe he will mind. Raam opens his eyes and says I didn’t see actually, I only concentrate on my music. Jalal says I like people who are worth their work. Raam startS singing badly and stops.
Jalal ask whether you think I’m not worth your singing? Raam says maybe my singing thinks like that, Jalal gets angry and grabs a knife. Raam says you will not get anything killing me, Jalal throws the knife at him, but doesn’t hurt him. Raam starts singing beautifully. Raam sings In ankhon main song.
Jalal drinks wine and looks at jodha who smiles. Jalal gets lost in thoughts and imagines Jodha lying near the bath tub (In ankhon main female version plays), he comes bare chested and plays with her with peacock feather, he pulls Jodha towards him and her wet hairs falls on him, they hold hands and Jodha lies again.
Thought over. Jalal agains sees Jodha enjoying song and imagines her giving him drink and sits behind him. Then he imagines Jodha sitting in her room, he comes and Jodha gets up, Jalal looks romantically at her and they make their hands meet. Thought over.
Jalal is totally drunk and keeps looking at Jodha. Jodha is litting candles in her room when Jalal comes from behind and hugs her from tje back, he puts hand on her belly, and ask her to tell she doesn’t love him, Jodha moves from his clutches and says I love you not, Jalal touches her shoulder and moves his hand from her shoulder and reaches at her palm, he clasps her fingers in his.
Jalal whispers that he knew only to acquire, not win hearts. If she did not love him, then why did she feel for him? She could leave him right then, but Jodha says she could not leave him and go, Jalal says I told you that I will not touch you without your permission, but I have become your need.
Jodha replies that she has not given him that permission yet, Jalal says then he should tel him to go, He would leave. Jodha smiles and hugs him from behind . It’s also Jalal’s imagination. He sees Jodha in court, smiles and gets up to go. Maham Anga says the singing is not over yet, but Jalal walks away.
