Maham comes outside and ask Jalal you seems so happy? Jalal smiles. Maham ask where are you going? Jalal says to his room. Maham says Jodha has called you into her room, you must go, she is the first wife whom you have given so much time but now, she herself is calling and one important thing, she may get shy at sometime or will try to stop you but she will not mean it and you should go ahead, Jalal is drunk and nods.
Jalal comes outside Jodha,’s room and gives the Servant a coin asking nobody should come inside. Inside, Jodha is in sleeveless night dress and taking out her bangles, she ask Moti to help her. Jalal comes and holds her hand, Jodha is shocked and ask there was no announcement of you coming in, Jalal says even you didn’t ask for permission before writing a letter, Jodha feels shy and wears coat.
Jalal comes from behind and says you could have said that directly to me, Jodha says I wanted but couldn’t, the man I hated, now I want… Jalal stops her and says when I first rode horse, my hands shivered, when I got the throne, my hands shivered, but it shivered the most when I did Nikah with you, I wanted to control, to get you, to win you, but I lost to you now.
Jalal has his back towards her and Jodha hold his hand, he is surprised and turns back to see her, Jodha smiles looking at him and caresses his hand, he says I can’t tell how excited I am after reading your letter, tell me once that it was true what you wrote, Jodha smilingly says it was all true. Jalal is beyond happy…
Jodha says I wrote everything from the heart. Jalal says subhanallah, you were the first who accepted me, but rejected me as well, you are arrogant like me, though I am heartless, Jodha says no, you look like that from the outside, but not from the inside. Jalal smiles, and says I want to say samething but I can’t, I am the King, but I don’t know how to say it.
Jodha holds his hands and says you don’t need to think, just say it. Jalal says I am bowing to your wish, I will remove the space between, he meets his forehead with hers, Jodha moves away, Jalal says you wrote it in the letter, Jodha is boggled and says I just wanted to thank you, I only think you as my friend.
Jalal laughs and says first, you called me and now showing me attitude, he hugs her from behind and says we are hubby wife come on. Jodha pushes him away and says I think of you as friend, but I don’t love you. Jalal again tries to hug her, she pushes him and he falls on ground, both are shocked.
Jodha says I didn’t write that, she comes to him, but Jalal shouts no! Jodha says I used to hate you, but what you did for Tasnim, I got to know your good side, but this doesn’t mean I love you, love is a different feeling and I can’t share my soul and body with you.
Jalal grabs a glass piece and he’s about to attack her, but stops and throws it on the mirror, he leaves angrily. Jalal comes outside and remembers Jodha’s confession in the letter and how she held is hand and all what happened inside, he throws everything away. Maham sees him and says the storms has come.
Jalal comes to the bath tub and ask everybody to go out! He gets in the tub and says you insulted me a lot, he remembers her harsh words and fiercely says if you don’t love me, then why wrote that letter, I will not forgive you!
Maham is laughing out loud and Resham ask have you seen a injured tiger, they fooled, but now Maham Anga will show them what she can do!
In the morning, Javeda ask Maham why are you so happy? Maham ask her to stop her chatter. She comes to an economist who informs that Munim Khan has sent gold and women which he won in war against Abul Mali.
Maham sees a big cage which has cloth on it, and ask what is this? Some girl comes forward and says it has many qualities. Maham ask what? She says if someone sees it, they lose their senses. Maham says let’s see and ask the servant to come forward and ask of his name, the small girl stops him and says first sneak inside the cage, he does so, and loses his sense and can’t tell his name, Maham smirks and says Jalal will like it.
In Court, Adkha informs Jalal about political matters, but Jalal is in his thoughts, Adkha ask for suggestion, Maham says I know why Jalal is not saying anything, Jalal leaves.
Maham comes outside and ask about his night with jodha, Jalal says yesterday, the thing for which I was happy, for same thing I am sad now, I want to talk with Ruqaiya and leaves.
Jodha says I did wrong with Jalal yesterday night, I must seek apology, but I didn’t write anything like that, then why has his behaviour changed? I must talk, she comes out.
Maham comes and ask where are you going? Jodha says to meet Jalal, Maham says he is busy and seems so happy, Jodha ask what? Maham ask her to not disturb him. She leaves, Jodha is stunned.
All the ladies in harem are appreciating Raam Pandey saying he was too good. Ruqaiya and javeda are also there, one woman says that Hamida have sent a letter to ask Raam to sing once again, the other says that one time, with his singing, the colour of his suits changed.
Javeda says I will wear blue colour, as I don’t like it, so it will change. Ruqaiya says to Hoshiyar that today’s Ceremony is important for me so ready a good suit for me.
Jalal ask for drink and shouts! Ruqaiya comes and says you seem tensed, I will massage your shoulder, you will feel good. Jalal stops her and says go, l don’t want it. Ruqaiya sit beside him and says you have the right to be angry at me, but tell me the issue, Jalal says nothing.
Ruqaiya says be angry but tell me, Jalal says sorry for being rude and tells her about all what happened after yesterday’s celebration. Hamida comes in, so Ruqaiya says we will talk about it later.
Hamida Bano comes and says everybody liked Raam dhanu so I requested him to sing again and he agreed, you have to be there, she sees Jalal tensed and ask about it, but he says that I am just tired.
Maham enters Ruqaiya’s room and informs her that Jalal had wanted to go to Jodha, but Jodha had refused Jalal, She warns Ruqaiya to distract Jalal from Jodha, as Jodha might replace Ruqaiya’s position, but Ruqaiya has no problem with Jodha. Maham warns her of her position being threatened by Jodha and offers her a trick, Ruqaiya is not interested.
Jodha comes to Jalal, Jalal ask her to go away, as she didn’t ask for permission, she goes out and ask for permission, Jalal says never, I am busy. Jodha comes and says I will say what I want, Jalal says I still remember yesterday night. Jodha says I remember what I wrote, Jalal says you insulted me, I don’t want to see your face, Jodha says you were drunk, you crossed the limit, there was no love in your eyes, but lust.
Jalal says exactly, how can you think that I love you, you are like any other woman in the harem, what do you think, that you are too pretty that you will write a letter and I will come running? Jodha is hurt, Jalal leaves.
Jalal then goes to Maham Anga to confirm that she had read exactly what Queen Jodha had written. Maham declines reading it wrong, she shows him the letter and challenges him to get it read by another person. Maham sheds crocodile tears and fakes about her honesty. Jalal trusts her and Maham Anga fakes her affection to Jalal. She requests him to come to the Ceremony as she is going to give him a new gift that he would be so proud of, She shows him a glance of the gift by removing the purple curtain covering the huge cage. Jalal takes a look at it and is extremely happy.
Resham and Maham Anga are happy that their plan is working, Maham Anga says when her enemy is about to be hurt, she had reason to laugh (thinking of Jalal) Also Queen Jodha was about to be hurt and she would be shown her rightful place that would give Maham Anga immense happiness.
In the hall, all are present for Raam to come, he comes and greets them, Raam ask why will I sing for you? Hamida says live your singing have colour of the whole india, in harem, there are colours from every state, we have women from the whole India and we live together, we have one Rajvanshi also, Raam greets her.
Jalal comes and ask Ruqaiya to sit beside him, she sits, Jalal says on the other side, Jodha gets up thinking jalal will call her, but Jalal ask the soldier to bring that special one, Jodha is stunned, the soldier comes out to the cage and removes the veil, there is girl inside, her face is not shown, she comes in the hall, all looks at her, she has veil on her face, she removes it and Jalal smirks.
She is tall and a beautiful lady and greets Jalal who says that usually, my Wife sit beside me, but today, I want my special gift to sit here, Jodha is hurt and sits back at her place.
Raam has his mouth opened seeing the lady, Jalal ask whether she did same what my knife did to you? Raam says I got lost for a while, but I will sing today for the beautiful lady.
Jalal ask the lady to come, Maham Anga introduces her that she is Benazir (Meghna Naidu) and is famous for her beautiful looks, she sits beside Jalal. Raam starts singing in ankhoon main. Ruqaiya thinks yesterday, there was a storm and today a thunder looking at Benazir.
Jodha is fuming with anger. Jalal looks at her and says something to Maham who goes to Jodha and informs that Jalal wants you to leave from here, he is not liking your presence, Jodha is very much hurt and has tears in her eyes, she looks at Jalal who smirks.
Hamida comes to Jalal and says what you did was wrong as a King, Jalal says I had reason for what I did and it’s the matter of hubby-wife, Hamida says yes and there was no need to show that in front of everyone. Jalal says you wanted Raam l to sing, he did, now go and sleep. Hamida prays for Jodha and Jalal.
Maham Anga says to Ruqaiya, that Benazir is very beautiful, she tries to make Ruqaiya jealous of Benazir. Ruqaiya refuses saying that Jalal is not interested in Benazir. Maham Anga tells Ruqaiya to use Benazir to drive Jalal away from Jodha. Ruqaiya replies that she is not threatened by either Jodha or Benazir. That Benazir is just another toy for Jalal.
Maham Anga warns Ruqaiya that soon, Benazir would take the place of Jodha, that Ruqaiya should give it a serious thought
Jalal is in thoughts when Jodha comes. Jalal ask why are you here, I didn’t call you. She says I came to return a bracelet, saying that she was returning him his gift that he had given her to wear at the Ceremony, because Jalal had despised her presence there and she was uninvited there. Jalal remembers how he gifted it to her and says good you returned in it.
Jalal looks up and says you are looking beautiful. Jodha is confused then looks back to where Benazir is standing, she comes forward and says thanks for gifting me this outfit, Jalal says you liked it? She nods, he says our special tailor stiched it.
Benazir looks at Jodha and says I should leave as your Wife is here, Jalal says her work is done, he says I have one thing for you and gives her the bangle. Jodha is digusted, Benazir wears it on her foot. Jalal ask Jodha do you have other work? Why are you still standing? Jodha leaves angrily.
Benazir says she seems like a very special wife of yours you’re deeply in love with, your eyes were only set on her and it didn’t happen earlier that when Benazir is standing, man looks at other women. Jalal leaves angrily.
Benazir is in bath tub, she ask Zakira that he honoured me to sit beside him, gave me gift, nobody felt bad, but Jodha did. Zakira says she is his wife. Benazir says it never happened that when I am standing, a man looks at other women, Benazir says I used to kill people with my beauty, but he is very subtle, his eyes are very much deep, Zakira ask whether you started loving him? Benazir says when I sat beside him, I thought it’s not bad to become special for him. Zakira ask whether you are dreaming of becoming a Queen.
Jodha is in her room and thinks of how Jalal had asked her to go from the Ceremony, and what happened in his room. Moti comes and ask her to come inside as it’s cold. Jodha shouts he asked me go away from the Ceremony, then in his room, in front of her, he asked me to go away, this much insult??
Moti ask who was in Jalal’s room? Jodha says same one who sat beside him at the Ceremony, Moti ask what was she doing in his room at night? Jodha says how do I know, what do you think, that I keep a watch who is in his room? That night he was saying many things to me and today I think of it, what is he doing? Moti says maybe you have misunderstood him. Jodha says you keep taking his side, just go! Moti leaves.
