Jodha and Shivani reaches the temple. Jodha says we reached here at the right time, aarti (some sort of prayer) is yet to start. You will take blessing for your new life. They come in the temple where Tejavant is also present. Jodha sings bhajan, Shivani sees Tejavant who points at her to leave. Shivani nods.
In the Palace, all are ready and waiting for the marriage, Hamida ask a Chambermaid where is Jodha and Shivani, she tells that they went to the temple. Maham thinks it’s more good that Jodha went with her.
In the temple, Shivani leaves with Tejavant on horse, one maid sees her going.
In the Palace, the Priest/Imam says the Nikah time has started. Jalal says the bride went to the temple, so wait a little. The Priest nods.
In the temple, bhajan ends and Jodha sees shivani missing, the Chambermaid tells her that she sat on the horse and went with someone, Jodha comes outside and thinks it’s the time for her nikah, so with whom did Shivani go with. She is tensed.
Maham Anga with Reagan comes to a room and asks a Chambermaid about Jodha and Shivani. She says they have not returned from the the temple , Maham sees a letter kept near on a box, she asks Resham to read it , Resham reads the letter, this was written by Shivani to Jodha in that she has written.
She doesn’t want to do this Nikah and I have eloped with her Tejavant.
Maham laughs, Resham says don’t laugh so much, somebody might hear that. Maham says she is very happy now Jodha has to take all the blame.
In the hall, the Priest says to Jalal that the time is getting over but the bride isn’t here yet. Jalal ask bharmal what is this, if going to the temple takes so much time, then why they left before marriage? He ask Atgah to go and check.
In the Market, Jodha is highly tensed and says with whom did Shivani eloped witg, if she didn’t want this marriage, then she could have told me and what about Jalal, he will be very angry. She ask the Servant about Shivani who says that they have crossed the lake and couldn’t be found anywhere, Jodha is terrified that she proposed this marriage and Jalal is already angry at me. What will I do, they must be waiting for me and Shivani. It is going to be insulting for the Mughals, what should I do?
In the Palace, Ruqaiya says it’s not right to make Jalal and the Priests wait. Jalal says I know Shivani isn’t mature but Jodha, she should have thought about the time. The Priest says that the Nikah time is over and even if the bride comes now, the Nikah can’t be done anymore, Jalal is stunned, Mirza is heartbroken.
Adham comes to Maham who is checking Shivani’s letters and says I think she ran away and this is the right time to show these letters to Jalal. Maham says that I will not give this letters to Jalal but to Ruqaiya, since if I give him directly, then he might ask from where did I get it or whether I knew about it from the start and didn’t inform him, but if Ruqaiya shows him these letters, then it will have more effect on him. Adham Khan says your mind is great.
Maham shows all the letters to Ruqaiya who reads it and is shocked and ask from where did you get this? Maham says I got it from Jodha’s room. Ruqaiya says this time, I will not leave Jodha, Jalal has given her too much space that she is insulting Mughals, but not this time! She ask Hoshiyar to call Jalal. He goes and tells Jalal.
Jalal comes to Ruqaiya who shows him all the letters. On the otherside, Maham says to Adham that Jalal will not be able to bear that his Wife did it, here Ruqaiya says see this proof, Jodha used you. On the otherside, Maham says Jalal will be hurt knowing Jodha did it and Adham says that she will also get punishment.
Here, Ruqaiya says you never had control on Jodha, Jalal shouts enough! Ruqaiya says Jodha keeps herself away from you and you get attracted towards her, you keep chasing, you have become a hunter and thinks that you are winning, but no, this deer is very clever and she used you. Jalal says enough else…!
Ruqaiya says else, you will kill me, but let me complete my talk, first, I ask where is the Jalal who used fight against all odds, who had his head high and had control on everyone and now, you lost to a woman that too your wife? She says if you think I am wrong, then tell Jodha to read these letters when she comes back. She wanted that her sister sho also marry a King and used you. She did wrong with you everytime, first she took out bullets from your gun then pushed you in her room but now, she has insulted the Mughals. Jalal ask Ruqaiya to read the letters.
On the otherside, Maham says jalal will give Jodha a chance to present her point, Jodha now will have to face Jalal’s hard questions!
Jodha comes back and tells Moti everything, Moti says first meet Bharmal. Jodha says when all will know about it, then Bharmal will have to face insult. A Servant comes and tells Jalal is calling you.
Jodha comes to Jalal and says I don’t know anything about this, Ruqaiya says stop this acting! Jodha says I am not lying, I don’t know how these letters came into my room.
Jalal says she is not lying as then, Shivani wouldn’t have written the letter to Jodha informing that she is eloping and that points to Bharmal. Now I know why he readily accepted this marriage and probably the reason he sent Shivani here, but if ithere was a problem, he could have asked me. I would have set Shivani’s marriage with any Rajvanshi like I did for Sukanya, but he played with me and now, I will talk to him not as son-in-law and father-in-law, but as two Kings!) Jodha is worried.
Jalal is going somewhere and remembers the Priest’s words that the Nikah time is over. He comes and meet Bharmal who has his head down and gets a flashback of when he scolded Shivani that to have some shame, he is a common worker, so how can you like him? He orders Das to find him! FBends.
Jalal says your daughter loved a common worker, you knew about it? He says I can’t see tears in your eyes so tell me. Bharmal says I had no idea that she will do something like that. Jalal says you didn’t know, then why did you send her here, then tried to make relations with the Mughals and readily accepted for proposal? Bharmal says I am your culprit and I insulted you, so I am ready for punishment.
Jalal says you are my father-in-law and even then, you did that, this is your mistake and as a Mughal ambassador, you cheated us, this is your mistake so your punishment is that you will be sent to jail!
Mirza ask what are you doing Jalal, he is your father-in-law? Jalal says as a King, I have to take a decision as a King.
In harem, all ladies are gossiping that Jodha’s sister was characterless and insulted Jalal. Jodha listens to this. They say that Jalal has sent Bharmal to jail. Jodha is stunned and comes to thebalcony where dadi, Maham and Ruqaiya are also present. She sees soldiers taking Bharmal away and is pained.
Maham says to Ruqaiya that at last, Jalal took decision, Ruqaiya says yes as Bharmal was at mistake not Jodha. Maham taunts that Rajvanshi women are characterless!! Jodha thinks it hurts when your own ditches you and I have to bear this pain all my life.
In the morning, Mirza comes to Jalal who consoles Mirza and says it’s sad that they are our own, Mirza says free Bharmal. Jalal says he is at fault, he knew about Shivani. Mirza says what about Jodha, what’s her fault, and why are we giving punishment to the father for hus daughter’s mistake? Jalal says Bharmal cheated the whole Mughals and punishment is needed and that girl could have told me!!
Mirza says maybe her values didn’t allow her to tell you that she loves someone, Jalal says values? She ran away with someone! Mirza says she was in love and had to take this step and she did h best for me, think if she would have married me, then 3 lives would have been spoiled, I will have to see her love for Tejavant in her eyes all through her whole life. I will come out of this pain but not after marriage.
Jalal ask why he is doing this? I don’t have a heart and doesn’t understand this, Mirza says when he’s finally in love, he will know why he is saying this, he will know why Shivani did that.
A Chambermaid informs that Jodha wants to meet Jalal. Mirza says they are my Culprits, so I must decide their punishment and I am asking you to forgive him. He says love can make a common man stand in front of a King, and a King to bow down to someone, because when you love someone, you can’t see them hurt and you can’t give them pain, Jalal is thoughtful.
Jodha comes and greets Mirza, he greets and leave. Jodha says to Jalal that though Bharmal is at fault, but his mistake is not that much big, please free him. She keeps on pleading, but Jalal is only thinking about Mirza’s words that you can’t give pain to your love. He looks intensely at crying Jodha and leaves. Jodha is confused.
Jodha is crying and says to Moti that because of Bharmal, not only Rajvanshis but the Mughals got insulted. Hamida thinks of me as her daughter and what Bharmal did, I am cursing why I took Shivani with me to the temple. Jodha says should I curse them or my fate? I used to feel proud of being Rajvanshi and now, I have to bear the taunts all life.
Moti says they were not wrong, but it was the situation that made them do that. Jodha says I can’t stand with a relationship that is based on lie. Shivani could have at least told me, and I wouldn’t have made this relations.
A Servqnt comes and informs that Jalal has freed Bharmal and allowed him to return to Amer. Jodha is happy and says Jalal again showed his greatness.
On the terrace, Hamida comes to meet Rajvanshi family. Bharmal and adi asks for forgiveness. Jodha is looking from afar. Hamida says I know how it feels when you come to know about you daughter’s affair with someone low, don’t say sorry. Dadi says no we are at fault. Maybe we couldn’t instill values in our childern, look at Mirza and his values. We failed in raising our kids.
Hamida says no, look at Jodha and her value, Shivani only did it out of her childishness. She says tomorrow is shubratri (hindu festival), please stay, we will celebrate it. Bharmal says sorry but after what we have done, we can’t stay here and bother you, let us go, we will come so other time. Hamida says okay. Jodha comes there, so Hamida leaves.
Jodha says Mirza spoke with Jalal and Mirza forgave you, but I don’t have the guts to do that, you could have told me about Shivani but you cheated the Mughals and because of you, my family is facing insult, you could have told me and I could have done anything to stop this proposal, so my husband wouldn’t be hurt now, my bbrother-in-law wouldn’t be in pain.
Jodha says to Bharmal that you had insulted my family and this Mughal Queen, Jodha will never forgive you, Bharmal is tensed.
Jalal comes to Mirza who is sleeping, he caresses his hairs, takes out his shoes and ask the Chambermaid to bring a blanket.
Jodha comes and gives him the blanket. Jalal looks at her, takes the blanket, and put it on Mirza and goes out.
