Jalal leaves from there. One Queen complains to Jalal about Ruqaiya that her harsh behaviour towards the Servants and her rudeness to other Queens, She treats other Queens like her Sercants.
Maham speaks in favour of Jodha, Jalal asks whether his decision to give Ruqaiya the responsibility is wrong? Is there any one who is wiling to take up the responsibility? One Servant names Queen Jodha, some favour her but Jodha says she is not suitable for that post. Jalal says that all Queens would ponder over that issue too, the next morning he would decide, and if they could not arrive at a conclusion, he would not hear a single word against Ruqaiya. Ruqaiya smiles at him, he leaves from there.
Hameeda is discussing with other Queens that Ruqaiya behaved harshly and had taken rash decision. Salima says that Jodha might not be experienced, but she felt from the heart and took decisions after feeling for the other. One Servant who was overhearing all this thinks ti informs Ruqaiya.
Jodha comes to Jalal who is having head massage from a Servant, he says come, he says because of this Harem scuffles, I have an head ache, Jalal ask the Servant to leave. He looks at Jodha and smiles, Jodha sits in front of him, Jalal says you say something else and do something else. Jalal naughtily tells Jodha to give him head massage faking a head ache. Jodha protests that he had just received head massage from a Servant. Jalal says that the Servant’s hand would never have the same effects that her soft tender hands would have, he looks at her naughtily.
Jodha shyly picks up the oil and massages his scalp (bg music plays)… Jalal says that Ruqaiya is doing a good job, but I am happy at how you had refused to take over the responsibility of the Harem, unlike other Queens, you are different. Jodha says I am leaving, she stands to leave, but Jalal requests her for some more head massage. She politely declines asking him to catch up on lost sleep, she leaves, Jalal is smiling.
Ruqaiya comes to Salima, she is angry with Salima for speaking against her (Ruqaiya) and speaking in favour of Jodha! Salima says I am disappointed with your behaviour. Ruqaiya then has an outburst directed at Salima. Salima then tells Ruqaiya to stay within the limits of decency and that I am like your elder sister even if Ruqaiya is in charge of the Harem, she should be respectful to her elders!!
Salima says Jodha is more balanced and took better decisions, she felt for others from the heart, and if Ruqaiya’s behaviour remained like this, then all the Queens would one day go against her, she asks Ruqaiya to leave!
Jalal comes to Ruqaiya’s room. Jalal is informed by Ruqaiya that Hameeda and Salima were both in favour of Jodha and against Ruqaiya. Jalal tells her that all the Servants and Queens are all standing against you (Ruqaiya) and for Jodha, so she should control her harsh behaviour. Jalal warns her not to take her enemies lightly, especially Queen Jodha, because she is talent treasury, she he might just topple Ruqaiya from her position if she’s not careful.
Jodha and Moti are in the market, they see ladies craving for water, they are thirsty and couldn’t walk, a soldier says to Jodha that you shouldnt go to these Servants, Jodha says okay, but give them water, he says they will be put in jail, then will be sold out. Jodha says they are goats, sheeps that you will sell not them, he stops her from going, but Jodha says can you stop a Wife of the Emperor, he stays aside.
Jodha goes to them and gives them water, they drink it and blesses Jodha that you may get happiness, they say we haven’t eaten anything since last three days, Jodha ask the soldier that where ever they are taking them, just give them food first, he says okay, the Servants are taken from there.
Moti ask Jodha to leave from here, as Jalal will not like it if he gets to know that you spoke with the Servants, they are about to leave, when Jodha sight one kid in her palanquin. He requests her to not throw him out, the soldier ask is there anything wrong? she says no, she sits in it. She gives him sweet offerinf and ask fir his name, he says Babu, she ask how you came here? He says they were taking me away to become a Servant, but I ran away, she ask about his Parents? He says they sold my Mom to boss and he bought her, but he didn’t buy me, Jodha is thoughtful.
Jodha brings Babu to her room, Moti is making Babu to eat and says it’s against the Harem rules, Jodha says what about human rights, he is separated from his mother, without any home, where will he go?
Some Queen comes there and ask where did this cute kid come from? Jodha informs about his story and how can I leave him alone there? The Queen says that is why we all say that you should handle the Harem, you have a heart, you understand feelings, Jodha says I will not involve myself in Harem matters, I can’t understand what rules are there from many years.
The Queen says you don’t know what’s happening here from many years, she ask her to come with me. Jodha goes with her, they come and sees a Swrvabt being brutally treated, the Queen says these Servants have to work even if they are ill else, they are being beaten up, Jodha ask did Ruqaiya know that? The Queen says she knows about them, but who cares as they are mere servants, they are won in wars or being bought, their life is to just serve us or they are being sold in Servants’ market.
Jodha says I have been staying in the Harem for a while now, but I didn’t know about it, the Queen ask her to take the Harem’s responsibility, Jodha says look, I don’t want to stand against anyone. The Queen says if you don’t take stand against Ruqaiya, than Ruqaiya will become more arrogant, and nobody will be able to stop her, she leaves.
Jodha comes to the weight balance, she thinks which kind of situation is this, one side is people who have faith and hope from me, the otherside is Ruqaiya with whom I don’t want to fight with. She imagines Ruqaiya sitting in the balance and says you are nothing, I am the Queen Mother/Empress the and Harem is mine and will be mine! She then imagines the old thirsty lady who ask Jodha to help her, she imagines Babu who says I am alone, please help me, Jodha is tensed and prays to God what is happening to me?
Jalal comes there and says I come here when ever I am in a tensed situation and needs answer, he says we know the truth, still we choose the wrong thing because it’s so easy to choose, he says we have to choosethe right path even if it hurts someone and this message is also given by this balance.
Jodha says I don’t deserve to handle the Harem’s matters, I am not from here and I don’t know the rules of here, Jalal says you are lying, from the day you married me, you are learning rules of here, he says when we face some difficulty, only then we showcase our power, now you have the chance, so you have to show your talent, he says it’s easy to become SPECIAL from people, but it’s very difficult to become SPECIAL from Queens, he says it’s easy to work under someone, but difficult to supervise others, it’s easy to lose saying you are weak, but difficult to stay strong and fight.
Jalal says you are walking with respect of two families and it’s not an easy task, you can become SPECIAL because you poses talent, he says you always fight for right and won too, so I am sure this time, you will also take the right decision, Jodha nods, he greets her, she goes.
Jalal thinks I said a lot but no answer from her side, seems like it’s silence before any storm.
Maham sees Jodha going away, Maham says to Resham that Ruqaiya will have to face a difficult time now.
In Ruqaiya’s room, Hoshiyar says I always want to see you smiling, Ruqaiya says I will show them what I am to whoever went against me!!
Maham sees Javeda writing something, Javeda says I am preparing for tomorrow as tomorrow, Ruqaiya will lose her right on the Harem, so I have planned who is on whose side, Maham says you are so clever, Javeda says this is all because of you, Javeda says I will take my name to become Harem’s Queen.
Maham says I thought you have some brain, but I was completely wrong, she says you can’t handle yourself, so how will you handle the Harem, she ask her to stay quiet in front of Jalal, she leaves.
In Court, all the Queens comes, Maham comes to Ruqaiya and says you are strong and nobody have any guts to stand against you, your position is strong, Ruqaiya says nobody can dare to stand in front of me.
Jalal comes there, he sits, he says Ruqaiya is ready to give her position of the Harem to anyone, he ask is there anybody who can take Ruqaiya’s place? All are silent. He ask Ruksaar (same Queen who spoke wit Jodha earlier on) is there anybody you think can take the Harem’s responsibility? She is silent.
Jodha remembers her encounters with the servants, she stands and says I am ready to take the harem’s responsibility, all looks at her, Jodha says I thought Ruqaiya is taking good care of the harem but from the last few days, I am seeing a new side of the harem, it’s fate that I realized that I stay in this harem only, I am aslo a Queen of the Emperor and I should stand, so I’m ready to challenge Ruqaiya. Moti, Hamida, Ruksaar and all are happy.
Jalal says alright, every member of the Harem has the right to choose its leader so there will be voting after 4 days, he is about to leave, he nods to Jodha and leaves, Maham Anga smirks.
Jodha comes to Hamida, Hamida shows her portrait of Humayun, she says when he lost the war, he asked me to go away from him, but I decided to stay by his side, those Queen who doesn’t take decisions become history, and others writes their own history and I know you will write yours, you are not alone, we are with you, rhe Queens are with you.
Jodha says whenever I feel low, I used to go to my mother and she used to give me strength, but today, I got that strength support from you, she sits on the floor and says I will try my level best, Hamida blesses her.
Phuphi comes to Ruqaiya who is fuming, she says now, it’s time that you take the right decsion, it was a different thing when Jodha was not willing but now, things are different, she is a Rajvanshi and she has the power to win over things, you might lose your importance.
Jodha is with Babu, he ask about his mother? Jodha says when I get to know about your mother I will send you to her, he leaves.
Jalal comes there, he says you always do the opposite, you said you will not compete with Ruqaiya but now, you are also in the race of getting power, Jodha says I don’t crave for power, I did what that justice balance told me, what the Empereor told me. Jalal says you are blaming me, he says your competition is not with an ordinary girl but with Ruqaiya, you have to understand her political knowledge, he says I know when you take decision from your heart, you win in it.
Atgah calls Jalal, Jalal says to Jodha that I handle politics and you handle the Harem, he says if you get time from your work, then do meet me, he leaves.
Sharifudden is mesmerised with Jodha’s beauty, he says her eyes, hairs everything is beautiful, her body is like that of a female snake, he is telling this to the Artist who is making the painting, he says her lips are rose petals, the artist makes it and he’s stunned and says it’s Jodha.
Bakshi comes there, Sharifudden says I told you something else and you made Jodha?? He says I was telling you about my Wife, he says I was telling you my wife’s lips. She says maybe I was wrong, she leaves from there.
Bakshi says it was the mistake of the Painter. The Artist thinks I can’t be wrong in making what has been told, Sharifudden hugs Bakshi and thinks how long will you remain in my dreams, when will you come into my arms?
