Tuesday Update on Jodha & Akbar, 13th July, 2021  

Ruqaiya asks Hoshiyar what news does she has about Jodha? She tells that Jodha said that Jalal asked her to go away from the Palace, Ruqaiya says has she left? Hoshiyar says I felt bad for her, Ruqaiya slaps her and says to not forget that you are my servant and remember your place!!

Maham comes, Hoshiyar says I am loyal to you. Ruqaiya says don’t argue with me, Maham ask Hoshiyar to leave! Ruqaiya tells Maham that Jalal asked Jodha to leave from the Palace, Maham says I am too happy to hear that, I never thought I will get this good news so soon.

Jodha in sleep blabbers that I would tell jalal that he was my brother then says that I can’t break my promise to Sujamal, Jodha gets up and sees her imagation, her imagination says I am your heart and I am telling you to go and tell Jalal the truth, Jodha says he would not believe me, as he is hurt. Jodha’s imagination says that you are worried about him and what about you? He has hurt you too, Jodha says first, I hurt him and what he did was just a reaction, he didn’t do anything wrong.

Her imagination says that for a Rajvanshi, nothing is important then her character, he pointed at your charater, he doubted you even then, you are not angry with him why? You have started loving him, he directly and indirectly told you many times that he loves you, but you never answered him but now, you want Jalal to trust you, that he thinks you are pure, why do you want his trust? Why are you not angry at him, why do you want to answer his questions? you think he is not wrong why? because you love him, you don’t want to tell him truth, because you think it will hurt him more.

Jodha says once I get to know that Sujamal is safe, then I will go from here, ger imagination says you want to go because you want Jalal to come before you and make up with you, you are in love with Jalal, Jodha says no, her imagination says you love the man whom you promised to behead to Kali maa.

Jodha recalls how she said to Kali maa that she will behead the person who took her jewelry. Her Imagination says you say you don’t love him, but you are not even angry at his shameful talk, she says one side is your love, the other side is Sujamal, she says you have two ways; first to tell Jalal the truth and break his promise and secondly is for you to go from here, she says leave from here!

Moti comes, Jodha’s imagination vanishes. Moti says Jalal will not leave Sujamal.

Jodha comes out of her room and thinks that I have to tell Jalal the truth because now, people are questioning Sister-Brother’s relations, I have to break the promise to save Sujamal.

Maham comes and says you can’t meet Jalal, he is very angry, Jodha says it’s urgent, Maham says he is a hot pan, your hand will burn, Jodha says I have to tell him the truth, Maham says I told you you can’t meet him, wait if you want to meet him then.

Jodha thinks that Jalal, I will tell you the truth that my relationship with you is pure. Maham thinks that I will not allow this misunderstanding to clear up.

In his room, Jalal is very angry, he is throwing things around, he throws Jodha’s potrait away, Maham comes and says Jodha wants to meet you, Jalal says I don’t want to see her face!! Maham says she said she wants to ask for your forgiveness, she wants to clear the misunderstanding. Jalal says what misunderstanding? Everything is clear and for this crime, I don’t have forgiveness. He ask Maham to leave. She leaves.

Maham and Ruqaiya are sitting in Court, they share their happiness. Hamida says to Salima that I know it’s a misunderstanding, I think Jodha hid something, but she is not wrong, she can’t be, I have full trust in her, Salima agrees.

Jalal comes to the Court, he ask Atgah to bring that Rajvanshi, Atgah ask the soldiers to bring him, Jalal says I will talk to him in private, a soldier comes and says that Rajvanshi ran away, Jalal puts sword on the soldier’s neck and says you can’t even handle a single Rajvanshi??? Jalal says I will catch him!! He comes to where Sujamal was imprisoned, he sees a mountain of his soldiers killed by Sujamal, he is shocked and furious. Jalal says I will not leave him, I will behead him, he says it’s my hunt, ask the soldiers to cordon off the area, but I will catch him!!

In jungle, Sujamal is runing on horse, Jalal is also riding the horse, he listens to the noise and follows Sujamal, both are running, Jalal says I will not leave you today! Sujamal says today, you can’t catch me neither the universe.

Sharifudden is seeing all this hiding on a horse, he thinks that maybe you will not be able to catch Sujamal, but I will not leave you alive today!

All the ladies are sitting, Ruqaiya says to Hamida that Jodha is at fault, she hurt Jalal, Hamida says Jodha can’t be wrong, she cares for Jalal, so there must be a misunderstanding. Salima says Jalal and Jodha are both intelligent, they will solve it. Ruqaiya says Jalal himself went to catch that Rajvanshi, soon the truth will be out!

In the jungle, Jalal gets to Sujamal and throws him down from the horse, he takes off his turban and says now, you won’t be able to save yourself!! Sujamal and Jalal starts to fight, Sujamal falls on ground, Jalal says you are fighting like an Eunuch, Sujamal says I am not attacking you, I am just stopping your attacks, Jalal gets angry and have sword fight with him, he puts sword on Sujamal’s neck.

Jalal says you are without weapon, so I will fight without sword, Jalal beat blue and black out of Sujamal, but he doesn’t attack Jalal. Sharifudden is hiding behind the tree and targets Jalal, he is ready to attack him… Sharifudden thinks that I will kill Jalal and the culprit will be Sujamal!

Sujamal sees someone attacking Jalal, he shouts and puts Jalal aside, he gets arrow on his chest, Jalal is shocked, Sharifudden runs from there, Adham comes there and he’s about to kill Sujamal, but Jalal holds his sword and says to run behind that man instead!

Jalal ask Sujamal why you saved me? Sujamal says because I promised my Sister that I will protect her husband, Jalal ask who are you? He says Suja…mal, he becomes unconscious, Jalal is stunned. Jalal says so he’s Jodha’s brother, he recalls their meeting and his bitter words to Jodha that you are having an affair, he recalls how Jodha said that she knows that man and had met him before marriage, and how he asked her that she loves him to which she said yes, he recalls how he asked Jodha to go from here, he cries.

Jalal sits near the river and says sorry Jodha, please forgive me Jodha, I did a big mistake, but why didn’t you tell me about him, you didn’t had trust in me?

Adham comes to Jalal and says this Sujamal is our enemy and you are treating his wounds, Sujamal gets conscious and sees himself lying on bed with bandages on his wounds, Jalal says he will get punished but not here, Adham says he tried to kill you at the ceremony, Jalal says then he wouldn’t have saved me today, I have to find out the truth.

Sharifudden comes and says did you catch that Rajvanshi? Jalal says yes, but where were you? Sharifudden says I was looking fir him him, a soldier tells Jalal that Sujamal has regained his consciousness.

Hakim gives syrup to Sujamal, he says I don’t need it Jalal comes and says to drink it, Sujamal drinks it. Jalal ask how are you? He says fine. Jalal says didn’t you find it strange coming into the Harem like an Eunuch, Sujamal says it was strange, but we Rajvanshi fulfill our promise, I came here to meet Jodha after knowing that she drank poison, but when I was returning, Ii listened to Abul Mali having a plan with someone to kill you, which was why I stopped here.

Sujamal says they had plan to kill you at the ceremony, so I came during the ceremony, I gave the message to Atgah too, I killed that man who was trying to kill you, and to find out who was behind all this, I became an Eunuch, but before finding him, you doubted me, he says I looked at every women in the Harem as my Sister and you are lucky to have Bakshi as your Sister, I will remember her as my Sister.

Adham says you are our enemy, Sujamal says the Mughals are still my enemy, but Jalal is my Sister’s husband. Jalal says what will you do in battle field? Sujamal says in battle field, all are enemy, we don’t see any relations, but we fight for our pride, he says either you make me a prisoner or let me go, he gets up to go.

imprison me and you are a warrior so you will want to fight with me then kill me, but stab me from the back, let me go, we will meet in the battle field.

Jalal says last question, why didn’t Jodha tell me about you? He says because I took promise from her not to tell you my identity, Jalal recalls how he said to Jodha why are you silent and Jodha said I am not able to tell the truth. Sujamal says bye, Jalal allows him to go.

Sharifudden says why you allowed him to go? Jalal says he is a warrior, find the one who is ours, but a betrayer! Jalal thinks that I have to meet Jodha first.

In the Palace, Jodha is in thoughts, Jalal is coming to Jodha’s room, he thinks how he can doubt Jodha, I will ask forgiveness from her, I will listen to her every taunt, I will not budge till I get pardon from her. (in ankhon main sad version plays).

Moti comes to Jodha and tells that Jalal got to know that he was Sujamal and he allowed him to go and says if Jalal ask for forgiveness, then do forgive him, don’t be angry at him, Jodha says to Kahna that thanks for protecting my brother.

Jalal comes to Jodha’s room, he looks at her, Jodha is happy to see him, he is emotional, Jalal comes to her and says you don’t how much happy I am to see you here, Jodha says what you thought, you will ask me to leave and I will go? Jalal says I don’t want to recall that moment, I did a mistake, please forgive me, he sits in her feet, Jodha makes him get up and says don’t do this, you are my husband and what you did was fine, as it was just a misunderstanding and you are making me sinful by asking for pardon.

Jodha sees tears rolling from Jalal’s eyes, she nods no and wipes his tears, he says I hurt you a lot, please forgive me, he wipes her tears and kisses her forehead, he hugs her, he sees tears on her cheeks and kisses them. Jodha sees tear on his cheek and wipes it by kissing him too, she kisses his palm, Jalal says you always put balm on wounds and I gave you such a big wound, please forgive me. Jodha says it’s not needed, you were just angry at what you had seen, and you did that in a furious state, Jodha and Jalal hug each other. It all turns out to be Jalal’s dream, he says I hope Jodha understands me.

Jalal comes inside and sees Kahna missing, Moti comes, Jalal ask about Jodha? Moti says my friend left the Palace, Jalal sits with sadness, Moti says she left this letter for you and asked me to read it for you, she reads the letter which says;

Dear Jalal, I was skeptical to write, but then, I thought to tell you, only Moti can read it for you, I am not going because you are angry with me, you ordered me to go, and you are the King and my husband as well, so I had to leave. I am taking Kahna without your permission, sorry for that.

Flashback shows Jodha saying sorry to Kahna for changing his place, she takes Kahna and leaves the letter in her room. FB ends.

Moti reads the letter that;

Yesterday, you were very angry with me, but you also had a doubt on my character, I didn’t say a word to you, I am not angry at you, but I am hurt that I couldn’t make a place in your heart, you didn’t trust me. I wished to tell you the truth, but thought that whatever would be my answer, you will trust me anyway. I would have never married you if I love someone else, I could have died, but wouldn’t have marries you, it’s true that I didn’t love you at the time of marriage, but I didn’t love someone else, this love has started to blossom between us. I believed that when you will look into my eyes, then you will see the truth, in anger you pushed me towards you, but couldn’t read the truth in my eyes, Jalal a husband is someone who fights with Wife’s purity, her charater, but you doubted me. When the husband doesn’t trust me, then I had to leave.

In your first round, you promised to respect me all my life and my first promise was to obey your orders. It’s not your fault, that’s the rule of the world that women has to give tests even then, fingers are pointed at her, if doubt comes into a relationship, then it never goes, so I am going away from you, it’s my request to not send soldiers behind me, because even if you find me, you will never gain your Jodha… Bye, your Jodha.

Jalal sits on the ground crying.
