Sagar walks back inside the house. Niru tells Madhvi not to say anything to Pulkit no matter what. Amma ji notices Sagar. Did you miss your van? Sagar holds his stomach and pretends as if he is in pain. Amma ji and Madhvi gets concerned. Niru leaves for court. Call me in case the pain increases. Sagar apologises to them in his mind. I have to save Gangaa or her Father-in-law will take her away.
Mehri is massaging Amma ji’s feet. Door bell rings. A girl (Chandni), Pulkit’s classmate, has come to meet him. He didn’t come to school so I came to see if he is fine or not. Madhvi goes to call him, but Amma ji stops her. She tells Chandni to tell her the message. Chandni refuses, so Amma ji makes her leave. Amma ji refuses to believe that it was genuinely some other girl and not Saloni. Chandni calls Pulkit. She tells him Saloni is locked in her room. Her phone has been taken away. Chandan helped me, so I got to meet her. Saloni is missing you. She was crying badly. Her father is sending her to boarding tomorrow. She has asked you to meet her at the bus stop tomorrow. Pulkit is shocked. Why didn’t you say something to me when you came to my house? Chandni shares that his Grandma behaved rudely with her. I did it for my friend.
Gangaa is at the ghaat. She thinks of her first meeting with Niru; how he took her to his big house; how he cared for her and him shouting at her for losing that CD. You are very good Sir. You took me to your home. You fought with everyone for me. You didn’t even listen to Amma ji. You sent me to school. You always say that one should never lose, but how did you give up then? I made a very big mistake. But I will do something to set it right.
Sagar is standing in the balcony. I will send Gangaa’s Father-in-law away if he comes home today. What if he comes to the ghaat? Please don’t send him today God! Amma ji and Madhvi comes there. Are you alright now? Sagar affirms it. Pulkit asks his Grandma why he scolded his friend? She wasn’t Saloni, but Chandni. Amma ji is irked that Pulkit has so many female friends. Sagar is confused. Why did Gradma mistook Chandni for Saloni? Madhvi replies that she was in the same school uniform so she scolded Chandni. Sagar gets an idea.
Sagar has asked his friend Shruti to help him with this idea. She asks for something in return (notes). Sagar agrees for the deal. Come on time. I will call you. She finds it risky. What if my parents find out about this? Sagar talks about the notes that she wants in return. Do what I have asked you to. He gives her something in a packet.
Amma ji asks him to come inside as it is his turn to meet the Vaid ji. Shruti and Sagar do thumbs up at each other.
Sagar is missing Gangaa. He thinks of her and how she used to defend him, help him all the time. He feels bad for fighting with her too often. I won’t let you go anywhere ever. You will stay here only. This is my promise!
Next morning, Pulkit wakes up because of Sagar’s alarm. Sagar waits for a minute to make sure that his brother has fallen asleep. He takes his phone and calls Shruti. Come to my house ASAP.
Amma ji calls out for Maharaj ji. Wake up as it is time. She opens the main door when she finds someone standing outside her room wearing white saree. Sagar comes there. This is Shruti. She will go to snan with you today. Amma ji asks her if Shruti is a widow? Sagar denies it. She isn’t a widow. A fancy dress competition is going to happen in our school. She wants to know / understand how they live their life. He butters his Grandma, so she agrees to take Shruti with her. Sagar too wants to come along. She allows him.
Niru gets to know that Solanki has gained consciousness. He gets up to go, but this worries Madhvi. You had decided to leave the case, right? He hopes that she supports him in this fight. I can understand your fear. I know how much you care and worry for the family. I too feel the same. I am a lawyer as well. I have the responsibility to help the needy too. So many people lost their loved ones in that stampede! So many kids lost their parents and became Orphan. Should I overlook their pain? He holds the potli (purse) that Gangaa had given him. She gave me everything as fees. I didn’t want to hurt her self-respect, so I took it. She gave them to me with trust. How can I break that trust? Keep them safely. They aren’t just jewellery, but my trust. I have built that in people’s hearts by my work. Do you not want me to prove it to them that I deserve their faith? How will I fight alone? Will you not support me in this fight? She nods. He doesn’t want to break Gangaa’s trust at any cost!
Amma ji, Sagar and Shruti are on their way back home from the ghaat. He thinks that Gangaa might be thinking him wrong. I do not want you to go anywhere. I will not let it happen. Amma ji moves aside to talk to someone. Sagar and Shruti wonder why Gangaa’s Father-in-law hasn’t come till now? He enters there just then. He notices Shruti’s back and then Amma ji as well. Sagar thinks that it will be fine if he sees Shruti, but it will be a problem if he gets a chance to talk to Amma ji. He diverts Amma ji attention towards doing the puja (prayer) of a cow. Sagar and Shruti rush to his side. Gangaa’s Father-in-law questions Sagar. Why did you lie to me? Sagar replies that he didn’t lie. She isn’t Gangaa. Go back to your house now that you have seen it. It isn’t necessary that Gangaa is in Banaras. Gangaa’s Father-in-law too feels the same. She might have gone to some other place. Forgive me for wasting your time. He leaves. Amma ji joins the kids. Who were you talking to? Sagar gives a roundabout reply. He is relieved to see Gangaa’s Father-in-law leaving. Please God, don’t send him back ever.
Gangaa is on a boat ride. She thinks of the happier times with Sagar and when he had called her his friend proudly. You did very wrong with me. You didn’t even stop Amma ji from sending me back to the Ashram. I know you are taking revenge on me for not accepting you as my friend that day, but I will not beg you to take me back to your home.
Chandni calls Pulkit. Saloni is leaving for her boarding school right now. Her father got a doubt somehow and he switched plans. Chandan called me. She is leaving now. Please go and meet her if possible. Pulkit wonders how to go out of his house this early in the morning. Papa too would be at home.
Niru is leaving for the hospital. He asks Raghav ji to meet him there directly. Pulkit notices him leaving. He asks his mother about it? She shares that Solanki has gained consciousness. He is relieved that he can go out of the house now that his father has left. Pulkit wants to go out to eat jalebi from a nearby shop, but Madhvi thinks of asking Mehri to bring it. Madhvi is busy taking care of everyone’s needs. She calls out for Pulkit. He runs to his bathroom just when Madhvi enters. She asks him to come downstairs for breakfast after his bath. He stealthily thinks of escaping from the balcony. Amma ji, Sagar and Shruti are returning home just then. Sagar notices Pulkit stepping out of the balcony. Pulkit steps back inside. He signals to Sagar to take Amma ji inside. Amma ji keeps comparing Shruti to Gangaa. That girl isn’t interested in learning anything from me. Sagar did that (as instructed by Pulkit). He sends her inside and goes back again on the pretext of playing with his friends.
Pulkit manages to jump down from the balcony. Sagar asks his brother where he is heading to? Pulkit says I am going to meet Saloni. It is very important for me to go there. She is my girlfriend. I love her a lot. You like doing anything and everything for the one whom you like. Sagar is concerned for his brother, but Pulkit isn’t worried about himself at the moment. Sagar thinks that Gangaa is his best girlfriend. I too should do everything for her.
Sagar comes home. He asks his Dadi to bring Gangaa back home. She is doing puja (Prayer). He insists. I was angry at her for no reason. I understood that the photo of only the winner will be published in the paper. She had no mistake in it. I fought with her for no reason. Please bring her back. I won’t be able to enjoy if she isn’t here. Amma ji says we will bring her back after your birthday. Shardh days are on. I cannot call her back now. She has left on your insistence, but she will come back as per my wish. There will be no further discussion on this topic.
Mehri asks Amma ji if she will bring Gangaa back home after shardh? Amma ji is in no mood to bring her back now. I will make sure Sagar gets over it in a few days. I will divert his mind, but I will never let the problem called Gangaa come back here!
Gangaa sadly thinks of all the happier times that she had spent with Sagar and how he cared for her in the past. It was so fun to play with him. He too used to push me. I don’t know why he changed later. She thinks of Chandan’s words calling her Sagar’s friend and a maid. Sagar’s word haunt / hurt her still. I miss you a lot, but I am sure that would not be the case with you.
Sagar tells his mother that he is missing Gangaa. Grandma isn’t listening to me. Madhvi tries to quieten him, but he refuses to do anything or even celebrate his birthday if Gangaa isn’t back. Amma ji shakes her head. Madhvi too requests her to call Gangaa back. Amma ji talks about the rules of Shardh. Sagar can keep shouting, but she won’t come back before Shardh. Sagar firmly states that he won’t celebrate his birthday. He walks away. Maharaj ji is sure Sagar will stick to his words. Amma ji says she will take care of it. He thinks of her as his friend, so he wants her to be back. I will invite all his old and new friends to a very big party. He will forget her and will not complain anymore. We will keep it as a surprise. Ask Pulkit to invite all Sagar’s friends.
A Goon goes to bring water for Saloni. Pulkit comes to meet her. She asks him to go away as the other goon is still there. He overhears that Solanki has gained consciousness. He threatens Pulkit to run away if he wants to be alive. The other goon catches hold of Pulkit. He pulls his hand away from Saloni. Pulkit runs away. Saloni breaks down.
MLA is shocked to know about Solanki. Goon tells him that Niru has gone to hospital to meet Solanki. MLA orders him to be careful. Saloni should be fine. Nothing should go wrong. He thinks of taking care of Solanki before he can harm him.
Niru proposes Solanki to join hands with him. No one will be able to stop the culprits from getting punished. I have sent Raghav ji to court to get the date tomorrow. You will get Police protection too. Solanki agrees to give witness against MLA.
Maharaj ji and Amma ji write down the list. Pulkit has invited Sagar’s friends too. Maharaj ji asks him about his whereabouts. Pulkit diverts the question. Madhvi has called a magician too. Niru comes home. He gets to know about his family planning a surprise party for Sagar. Niru talks about the case. Celebration should happen. He asks for Sagar. Madhvi shares that he is sad as Gangaa cannot come here. Niru offers to take Sagar to the Ashram tomorrow to make him meet Gangaa. Amma ji doesn’t let him go up. She said he (Sagar) must be sleeping. Madhvi finds something fishy.
In his room, Sagar thinks of Amma ji’s reaction. He feels bad for sending Gangaa to the Ashram. He finds Pulkit pacing in the room. He asks him, but Pulkit says I am not sleepy. He lies down again. Pulkit cannot stop thinking of his last meeting with Saloni.
Niru sits down in the middle of the night to work on the case. Madhvi too wakes up. He shares that tomorrow is a big day. I don’t want any loopholes in this case. She lies down to sleep.
Sagar finds his brother lost and sad. He is so worried. He did so much for his best friend. Gangaa is my best friend. What did I do for her? He notices Pulkit wiping his tears. Gangaa will be upset with me. I wonder if she would recall my birthday?
Gangaa thinks that it is Sagar’s birthday tomorrow. The house will be all decorated and celebrations will be on. It will be celebrated just like Bappa used to celebrate my birthday. I wish I was there too. Everyone used to love me so much earlier, but now, no one loves me. This is why I have been sent here in the Ashram.
Pulkit has fallen asleep. Sagar paces in his room. You don’t know how much I am feeling bad without you Gangaa. I have told Grandma that I will celebrate my birthday only when you return. When will you come?
Next morning, Amma ji has made kheer for Sagar. She asks Madhvi to send breakfast to Sagar in his room. Niru is leaving for court. Amma ji reminds him to be home on time in the evening. The landline rings. Amma ji picks it up, but the caller does not say anything. Sagar comes downstairs. He can smell that something good is cooking. Amma ji covers the kheer. Right then a delivery guy comes to deliver something. Amma ji tells the guy to leave. I haven’t asked for anything. She signals to Madhvi to take Sagar upstairs. Madhvi takes him upstairs. Amma ji takes the parcel. Sagar wonders where Papa is. Only he can help me in bringing Gangaa back home. Amma ji pays the delivery guy. It is the blueberry cake.
Solanki dies. Niru looks at his dead body. The Doctor says he was perfectly fine till last night. Maybe he had a heart attack in the morning? Niru cross checks with the Doctor. Is it a natural death or murder? The Doctor says the Police too are doubtful. Maybe someone attacked the patient. The real reason will be known once we get the post-mortem report. The Police team are questioning our staffs too. He leaves to complete some formalities. Niru knows who is behind it. I am sorry Solanki that I couldn’t protect you. Now I have to help not just the victims, but you too. But how do I do it without any witness or proof? I will have to find a way out!
