Omkar very carefully walks around the place. Police arrests a lot many people including the goons whom Omkar had hired. Omkar is tensed thinking what if they recognize me? Niru comes there. He can see that Omkar is looking tensed. What are you doing here? Omkar says I was trying to recognize those whom I had seen with Gangaa. Did you find Gangaa? Niru says no. She is not here. I don’t know where she will be. He suddenly notices the shoe (that Gangaa had thrown out of the window). He recalls giving it to Gangaa as a gift. This is Gangaa’s shoe. I had bought them for her. He runs back to tell the Inspector about it. Gangaa is here. They head back upstairs. This time Omkar follows them too.
Surili calls Gangaa a problem. That Man was talking like a boss. She says you are to either send her (Gangaa) away from the city or kill her. Heera agrees with her. It’s good that police went back empty handed. They are shocked to see Niru coming back there with the police. The problem was postponed for a while, but it is back now. Niranjan asks her to Tell him where Gangaa is. Surili maintains her innocence, but Niru is not ready to buy it. He shows her Gangaa’s shoe. She is here. Inspector orders his team to check the place one more time. Surili Bai and her team are tensed. Niru hears some noise coming from the cupboard. Everyone’s attention turns to the cupboard. Niru is happy to see Gangaa as he opens the cupboard, while Surili Bai and her team gets tensed. Niru frees Gangaa and hugs her. Omkar too is very much relieved. Good that we found her after I gave them a clue. Now, no one will doubt me! Inspector questions Surili and arrests her. Niru asks Gangaa if she is fine? I know no one can take you away from us. All these people will be punished. Your father is here. Let’s go home. Everyone is waiting for you. She says I have to save someone else too. She points out to the adjoining room. Police rescues the other girls. Gangaa says my father came to take me, but they have no one. No one knew that they are here. I had decided to get them out with your help when you come to rescue me. He tells her that he is very proud of her. They will reach home safely. He tells the Inspector to update him in case anyone needs any help. Gangaa says I knew you would find me. Omkar thanks God. Are you alright? Gangaa nods. Niru thanks Inspector and his team for his help. Your Bappa has given you a perfect name, Gangaa! You are capable of cleaning everything, every sin. They head home.
Madhvi is in tears as she caresses Gangaa’s head. We were so worried about you. Are you alright? Gangaa nods. Sir brought me back. Don’t cry now. Amma ji thanks God for bringing Gangaa back home all safe. Gangaa tells her that she missed everyone a lot including her too. Amma ji smiles. Are you alright? Did they trouble you? Prabha talks negative again (about the brothel). Gangaa replies that the place was very bad. I was locked in a room. Other girls were crying as they wanted to go home. Niru adds that Gangaa saved all of them. They are back safely now because of Gangaa. Ganga wants to take bath now as she
hasn’t eaten anything. Kamini tried to make me eat a lot, but I declined. I even refused to wear colourful clothes as I am a widow. Amma ji is in tears, but composes herself. Gangaa asks for Sagar? Drishti shares that he isn’t well so he is taking rest. Go and take your bath now. Gangaa leaves with Drishti. Everyone is relieved now as Gangaa is back home.
Gangaa comes to Sagar’s room after taking bath. She finds him fast asleep. She says Drishti told me that you fell ill as you were worried about me. This means you are my friend, my best friend. She covers him with a duvet and turns to go when he holds an end of her saree. She turns and finds him awake. He asks her if she won’t talk to him? She reasons that she couldn’t have shaken him out of sleep to talk. He gets up and makes her sit too. She asks about his health? Were you so worried about me that you fell ill? He declines. She knew that he will answer like this only as he is too high headed. But I know the truth. You care about me a lot. He coughs so she gives him water. He says I am perfectly fine. How are you? Where had those goons taken you to? She tells him that it was a very bad place. The people there were stricter than Amma ji, completely khadus (Stubborn). I was so concerned about missing school. He asks her if she didn’t think of him? She affirms it. I missed everyone a lot. I felt like crying. He says now, you can go to school. You will have to work hard though as you missed your class. She says it back to him. He calls himself smart and she asks him if she isn’t smart too?
Niru thanks Omkar for his timely help. Omkar acts all modest. Prabha too compliments him. But why did you go there in the first place? Everyone looks at Omkar. Omkar replies that he was worried and walking around. He happened to reach there by chance. Amma ji too thanks him. Niru tells Omkar that he respects him all the more now. It would have been impossible to reach Gangaa otherwise. Omkar is glad that his plan worked. You won’t be able to realise when I accomplish my mission and leaves. You won’t be able to even understand any of it.
Gangaa tells Sagar that she will study hard and get more marks than him. I will give you a daily report of everything I’ve learnt in the school. Teacher will surely praise me daily. I will tell you everything. Sagar accepts the challenge. He coughs again. She offers water, but he declines. She leaves. He calls her mad. She cares for me, yet fights with me.
It is morning. Maharaj ji has made lunch box for all the three kids. Prabha is irked. This maid will get food like our kids. She decides to do something. She empties Gangaa’s lunch box in a paper. What will she eat now! She takes the food away.
Niru calls out for the kids as it is time to leave for school. Amma ji is irked that both Gangaa and Niru are only after school.
Gangaa looks at herself in the mirror as she gets ready for school. She
hears Niru calling out for her and picks up her bag. The boys come down. Gangaa takes blessings from God and her Bappa. She wears her shoes and goes out. Prabha tells Niru to take the boys or they will get late for school because of Gangaa. Prabha is irked. She is late. Gangaa comes there just then. Everyone is happy to see her dressed for school except Prabha and Yash. Even Amma ji is touched. Gangaa tells Niru that she knows a shortcut. My school starts late. I will walk. Sagar’s school is in the opposite direction. Gangaa touches Amma ji’s feet. She tells her to be careful. I won’t like it if there is any complaint against you. Come home directly from school and vice versa. Gangaa touches Niru and Madhvi’s feet too. They wish her luck. Prabha too blesses her half heartedly. Prabha goes aside to attend to a call. Madhvi gives lunch boxes to the kids. Yash takes the red one (the empty one) when Madhvi was about to give it to Gangaa. Gangaa too says bye to everyone. Niru tells Gangaa to take care. Sagar leans out of the car to wave at her. She too happily waves back at him.
Gangaa reaches school (Sharda Kanya Gyan Mandir). She says see Bappa, this is my school. It is my first day today. The peon comes there just then. He says You came a lot early? She nods. He understands that it is her first day in school today. He asks her to come in and sit. Gangaa sits inside on a bench. The other students start coming in too. They all are wearing blue dupattas. Peon rings the bell and everyone gathers outside for the Morning Prayer. Gangaa too joins them. There is no teacher here. The teachers come there just then. The kids start the Morning Prayer. Gangaa looks at the classroom. The same girl notices Gangaa. She tells her friends that this is the same girl who had met her at the samosa stall. She thought I was a widow too. Why are you wearing a white dupatta today? We only wear white dupattas on Thursdays. The other girl taunts Gangaa about her widow stature. What have you come here for? Gangaa replies that she has come here to study and not to buy samosa. The girl gets offended. She pushes Gangaa a little. Gangaa replies that she has only given them an answer. Peon suggests the girls to help the new girl, but the girl tell him to man the gate. This is your duty right? Peon is taken aback, but leaves. Gangaa scolds them for talking to an elderly person so rudely. The girl vows to show Gangaa how to stay in this school. Teacher sends them inside the class. She notices Gangaa’s white dupatta, but doesn’t say much. Who follows rules here anyways! Gangaa sits next to one of the girls in the class.
The same teacher comes to class. She has brought peas. Separate them. It is my daughter’s birthday today. I need it for the party in the evening. All the girls join her. Gangaa is surprised. We can do this at home too. Is this a new topic of studies? Teacher says it is an old topic. All the girls have to pass with distinction in this, so they can become good wives in the future. Gangaa reasons that they come here to study. The kids start laughing. Gangaa shows her books to the teacher. The same girl talks to another girl that she has no idea what we study here. Gangaa asks the teacher to teach her as this is why they come here. The girls have different reasons for coming here. They are not interested in studies. They come here only to enjoy. Teacher insists Gangaa learns it as it will help her when she gets married. The same girl points out that Gangaa is a widow. Teacher is glad that she won’t have to bear the tortures of Mother-in-laws. Don’t waste time in talking. You (Gangaa) too should do the work. She goes out. Gangaa wonders what she will study here and how, when the teacher is in no mood to teach at all! Who will teach me here? What will I say to Sagar? The same girl makes sure everyone is doing the work assigned by the teacher. Gangaa refuses to listen to her as she is not a teacher, but the girl clears it to her that she is the monitor of the class.
Gangaa asks for the teacher’s name from the girl sitting next to her. Gunwanti Mam teaches Maths, but she never teaches anything at all. I don’t mind it. The girl taunts Gangaa. Is a widow feeling bad that she didn’t get to study today? Gangaa retorts that her name is Gangaa. Gangaa is hopeful that she will study in the next class if not now. The girl laughs hearing it which confuses Gangaa.
Gunwanti returns. She is glad that the work is done. Gangaa is hopeful that she will study in the next class. It is time for PT Class. The teacher herself is munching onto Bananas. Peon comes to inform her about the Principal’s arrival tomorrow. Now she will be spending all her time in the meeting. She takes the girls out for some work.
Sagar and Yash are doing PT Exercises. Yash tells Sagar that that school is good for nothing. No one teaches anything there. The teacher holds his ears for talking in his class. He dismisses Yash. Sagar thinks of Yash’s words.
The PT teacher tells the girls to clean the mess in the school compound. The girls pick up brooms and set down to work. Gangaa asks her if this is what will happen in the PT class today? The teacher asks her if this is what they will do in PT class? People exercise in this class. She instead tells her to exercise this ways. The principal is coming tomorrow. The school should look clean! Gangaa thinks that no one teaches anything here. The same girl tells her to pick up a broom and start working. Gangaa tells her not to bully everyone. I had thought so much about school and all what I will study.
Pulkit and a girl smile looking at each other. The girl excuses herself for a minute and Pulkit too goes to talk to her. They both have their backs facing each other when they greet each other. She asks him why he wasn’t paying attention in the class? He was looking at her. I don’t get to talk to you before my friends. I can at least see you. She gives him maths book. She has left a letter for him in the book. I too couldn’t focus on studies. I too was looking at you. I used to think of you even in my holidays. I enjoy your company a lot. Yash comes there and Pulkit drops the book. Yash tries to read it, but Pulkit snatches it away from him. Pulkit sends him away.
Yash wants to eat alone, so Sagar goes to sit with his friends. Yash finds his lunchbox empty. Where is my food? A few kids ask him about his so called lunch – newspapers. Yash cannot understand how it happened. Sagar would have started eating by now. Where is my food!
Gangaa sits down to eat her lunch while the other girls stand in the queue for food. Madhvi has packed my lunch so nicely. One of the girls (reena) notices her. Gangaa offers her lunch. She says eat with me. I have brought lots of food. The same girl (Bulbul) tries to bully Reena. You left us for this new girl? Gangaa defends Reena. Bulbul tells Reena to be with her new friend only from now. Reena declines and joins that girl gang. Bulbul eats from Gangaa’s lunch. This is so weird. She throws it away. Our lunch is better than this! Gangaa picks up the rest of it. Don’t you know that food is not to be thrown away like this! Amma ji always tells me against it. Madhvi made it with so much love. I will show you what I can do the next time you try to do this again. Gangaa gets into a scuffle with her as the girl pushes her. They both tug at each other’s braids. Bulbul pushes Gangaa on the floor and their fight continues. Peon separates them. I will take you to the Principal directly if you fight again. Gangaa tells Bulbul not to even dare to insult anyone or touch her lunch box! She leaves from there. The other girls talk about Gangaa. She is a tough one!
The boys come home. They go to change. Yash makes a sad face. He complains to his mother for not giving him lunch. I had to stay hungry! Madhvi confirms with Maharaj ji. Yash shows his lunch box. It is filled with newspapers. Prabha asks him why he took it. It was for Gangaa! Everyone looks pointedly at her. Madhvi asks her if Gangaa’s lunchbox was empty? Prabha tries to decline, but everyone has understood it already. Madhvi tells Yash to change. I will arrange food for you. Madhvi questions Prabha about it. You knew it, yet you didn’t say anything. Gangaa would have remained hungry otherwise. Prabha lies that she couldn’t tell anyone as she got a call back then. Why would I empty Gangaa’s lunchbox? Madhvi says I have no idea about it, but I do know that you don’t want Gangaa to be equal to our kids. Amma ji dismisses the matter.
Ratan greets Amma ji. He has come to take Prabha and Yash home with him. Prabha is relieved that she will be saved from Madhvi’s questions now. I was missing home so much! Ratan thanks Amma ji for taking care of his family all this while. Prabha goes to pack her stuff. Amma ji laughs thinking about Prabha’s situation.
Prabha hastily leaves for her house with her family. Gangaa notices them leaving.
Gangaa enters inside. Amma ji and Madhvi are confused to see her dirty clothes and unkempt hair.
