Madhvi comes to Prabha, apologising for Amma ji’s hurtful words, but Prabha gets into self guilt mode, saying that she has only borne evil, and hence its better that she goes, and she will.
Gangaa comes and tries to make her understand, that Amma ji might be hurt, but she doesn’t mean ill, and that since she has never understood Amma ji wrongly, then why today? She says that Amma ji would eventually get to grow to like her, just like she did with Gangaa herself. Supriya too tries to assure Prabha that she will win over Amma ji’s trust one day. Prabha is determined to do whatever it takes to win her trust, and then leaves inside.
Sagar meanwhile hollers from outside, to ask her to come! She says that she is coming. When she comes out, he finds her tensed. He asks what’s the matter? She talks about Prabha and her loneliness, unusual of what she normally was. They both are worried of the restrictions that have been put on her. She says that she finds it weird seeing her like this. He teases her that she could never do it, as she always liked to eat and gorge on food. They start pointing out acusations at each other. He continues to tease her, but she takes the challenge. He dares her if she can do anything? She complies. He asks her to drive the car today then. She is flabbergasted, while he says that it isn’t difficult. When she is reluctant, he says that he will teach her. They then drive off.
Ganga and Sagar are in the car, driving on the road, but he has his eyes only on her, as he was teaching her how to drive, right from the basics but she tells him to look straight so that there won’t be any accident. He looks ahead and almost collides into a little girl, crossing the road. Gangaa and Sagar are apalled. They pick the girl uo. The girl is extremely scared, while Gangaa tries to assure her, as Sagar suddenly lashes out at the girl for being reckless. The onlookers lash at him for being reckless, while he says that he wasn’t at fault! Gangaa asks him to calm down as the girl is extremely scared. They all ask her who is she here with and where is her family? Finally, she screams out, asking them all to be quiet, behaving as a mentally insane person! Gangaa gathers her belongings, and finds a pic of her, with a guy, and Gangaa herself. She’s overwhelmed to see her. Sagar meanwhile starts getting frustrated. She then shows him the pic too, and he is overwhelmed as he recognises her too. He then gets behind her, and then clutches tightly on the girl’s eyes, and speaks of what they used to play in childhood, solving riddles. The girl calms down finally, as she remembers Sagar and her friendship with him. He has a teary reunion with her. The onlookers disperse away. Gangaa stands amused. Gangaa asks if she didn’t recognise her? Ragini immediately does, and asks if she is Gangaa? Gangaa says that she wouldn’t have recognised her, had she not seen the pic. Ragini continues to clutch at Sagar, while he finds it totally disbelieving. He again looks at the pic, just to be able to believe that this is actually happening. He again reminds her of the game of childhood, De Taali. Ragini speaks up that Sagar and Ragini are best friends. She doesn’t let Sagar and Gangaa play, feeling jealous and wanting Sagar all to herself, behaving mentally imbalanced. Gangaa happily gives in. He then asks what’s she doing here and where is her brother? She gets tensed. He wonders why isn’t she speaking up? He asks Gangaa how could her brother let her come alone? Gangaa asks her that she can’t be alone in benaras, and who is she here with? She says that he doesn’t even know. Gangaa asks what she means, and asks if she ran away? Ragini accepts that she did! Gangaa and sagar are shocked. They decide to take her home, and then decide what’s to be done. They take her from there.
Ammaji talks to a money lender over the phone, expressing her inability to pay the money, and then getting furious when he asks for an exorbitant interest rate for the extra days time. Gangaa comes in hearing Amma ji reprimanding the money lender, and fuming at herself, as to how to arrange the money. Gangaa hears this, and Amma ji eyes her as she has heard her rant. Gangaa looks on shocked.
Prabha eyes Gangaa and Sagar coming in with Ragini, and gets tensed and frustrated and goes inside the room. Sagar introduces them all to Ragini, who are eager and happy to see her, as she seeks everyone’s blessings. Amma ji retires saying that she wishes to rest. Sagar is tensed. Gangaa understands what the matter is, and decides to go after her and complies.
Madhvi asks Sagar about Rudra (Ragini’s Brother)? He tells her that she seems to have escaped, and Rudra doesn’t know about it. She asks him to find out the number, maybe from his father’s study. He rushes to seek it.
Later, Prabha dials the number of the Jailer, where Yash is locked up and expresses her desire to talk to her Son. The Jailer agrees after much conviction from her side.
Yash finally receives the call. He isn’t interested, while she goes on ranting as to how he is, and when he would come? She says that her life is similar to his, and they’d both be tormented for 14 years. She tells him that they are both in jail, just that, he is in an actual one, while she is held captive in the Chaturvedi Mansion. She says that this time she has come with a very big motive and that’s to ruin this family, and She won’t spare them at all, after earning their trust, as she has to avenge him and his father! While talking she realises, that someone is calling out to her from behind. She hastily ends the call. Prabha gives an excuse when Sagar asks who was she talking to? She hastily leaves, while he is tensed. He went on searching for Rudra’s number in the diary, and wonders how is this possible?
In her room, Amma ji is gathering money, wondering how she would manage to pay up the entire money? Sagar and Gangaa comes in and discuss this problem with her. They present their contribution, but even after collecting everything, they still fall short of the entire amount. Sagar asks her not to refuse, as they can do this much for her at least. He says that he can’t help her anymore, as Yash took away all the money from his account. They are tensed to find that Prabha stands in the doorway with a bag in her hand. Gangaa says that they still have almost 20000 to go. Just then, Prabha comes from behind, with her bag of money, saying that only she should seek penance for her Son’s crimes, and if these fall short, then she will pay it anyhow, since she can’t be attarcted to these jewellery anymore, being a widow. Gangaa asks Prabha not to think like that, as she didn’t mean it wrongly. Prabha says she will give all her jewellery so that they can get rid of the loan, but Gangaa says that even if they take it, of which they won’t, they would still fall short of the complete payment. Amma ji says that Gangaa is right, and that they can’t accept money from her, as they won’t stoop so low, as to ask her (The Sister-in-law to her Daughter-in-law) for financial help. she asks her to keep her jewellery to herself. Gangaa too asks her not to take it otherwise, but these are hers and she should keep them. Prabha says that she is always with them, and even after dying, it still won’t be of use to her. She says that she is merely trying to help them, and that if they don’t wish to take it, it’s fine, but she will keep them with her now as their precious treasure, and whenever they need these, they should merely ask for it, and she would give them.
After she leaves, Amma ji says that she still doesn’t trust her one bit. They try to make her realise that Prabha has changed and that now, she wouldn’t harbour anything against them, but Amma ji is clearly not convinced, and says that she won’t ever be able to trust this lady, who changes her colour like a chameleon. All are tensed.
In the wee hours of the night, Prabha wakes up, and then finds Amma ji asleep, she takes out the keys from under her pillow, and got scared as she turns around just then. She successfully retrives it, and then smiles evilly.
In her room, Gangaa is bothered about how to arrange the remaining money and wonders how they should arrange it? Sagar gets her a milk shake, saying that she needs strength. She is tensed about the money and denies it, but he insists. They discuss as to how they can solve the problem. He asks her to stop thinking so much now, and drink the milk. She hesitates, but he forcibly makes her drink it somehow, clutching at her nose. She doesn’t realise that there is a moustache of milk, and smiles when she asks him to show the pic that he took. She fumes at him for having taken such a silly picture, while he rushes away, trying to save the pic from being deleted by Gangaa. They come closer in their tussle. Sagar and Gangaa feel their physical intimacy, as they clutch at each other, and a romantic eyelock follows. He cups his hands around her waist, as she gets nervous at the slightests sensation, as she smiles and shyly looks down, while he leans in closer to her.
While Gangaa and Sagar are getting cosy, Prabha drops in and coughs. They both leave each other. She looks at Gangaa keenly. She says that she wishes to discuss something very important with her right away and takes her out. Gangaa asks what’s the matter? Prabha asks if she thought of anything concerning the payment? Gangaa doesn’t have an answer. Prabha tries to show concern thinking of all the insults and humiliation that Amma ji would get if she isn’t able to pay the money, and how they would all witness her being insulted? She says that she decided to sell the jewellery. Gangaa is shocked and Prabha says that there is only one way left. She opens the box, and then reveals Gangaa’s lost preserved jewellery. she gives Gangaa the jewellery and asks her to sell it, since she cater for Amma ji so much, and can do anything for her. Gangaa says that these aren’t jewellery, but blessings, love and memories of her father, and that she wouldn’t be able to do this. Prabha lashes at her and asks her to get ready for a drama tomorrow morning in the house then and that she would see how much Gangaa considers this as her home, or she just talks big! Gangaa goes quiet. She tries to say that she can’t give this, as it’s the last memory of her father. Prabha apologises for having said this, as she didn’t know it’s easier said than done, and that the people are right, that Gangaa didn’t sacrifice anything at all for anyone, and that she is highly selfish and self centred, and tries to emotionally blackmail her into thinking what this family did for her, and welcomed her in the family, and yet, she got a chance to reciprocate that, but she isn’t valuing it at all! She asks if it’s too much to ask for, for keeping Amma ji’s respect? Gangaa starts eyeing her childhood stuff, and gets emotional, saying that she wouldn’t be able to do what Prabha wants her to do. Prabha lashes at her to keep it with her, as her attraction and attachment to these jewellery is far more important to her than anything else, and that she would sell her own jewellery to save Amma ji’s respect! She continues to lash at Gangaa for being so selfish, while Gangaa sits apalled. Prabha continues to reprimand Gangaa. She tells her that she can’t do anything! She walks out.
Sagar comes down and finds Gangaa in such an apalled state, and hurriedly reaches to her, while she is drawn into her childhood memories. He asks her what’s the matter and what prabha wanted from her? She doesn’t disclose anything, and takes the box, she goes in. Sagar is tensed.
In her room, Gangaa eyes the box, and then opens it back again, saying that people might say anything to her, but she can’t distance these memories from her at any cost. Just then, she hallucinates her father’s apparition, who says that he doesn’t mind. She tries to talk about the importance of these, while he asks if she would actually forget him, if she gets rid of these? He says that he doesn’t reside in the jewellery, but in her heart and asks Gangaa not to be so attached to anything, that her happiness depends on it. He asks her to let go, as even if the jewellery doesn’t stay with her, he will always be in her heart, her soul and her personality, every time she sides with the truth. He kisses her on her forehead and she comes to the realisation of what she had to do.
Amma ji somehow manages to send them off, as the moneylenders land at their doorstep, and says that she would pay off the money. They resignedly leave. Seeing no other option, she goes to Prabha’s room, and asks for the jewellery that she promised yesterday? Prabha is boggled and taken aback, and fumbles. Pabha pretends she has lost her keys so that she doesn’t have to give it to her. Then they both start searching for it together. Gangaa comes and gives them the keys, but not to Prabha’s box, but her own box instead. She asks Amma ji, to either get a loan on them or sell it, but get rid of the loan anyhow right now. She hand her the jewellery. Amma ji points out how they are her father’s memories? She narrates what her father’s apparition explained
to her, and then asks her not to say no. Amma ji is overwhelmed, and She’s about to talk to her lovingly, when she gets hollered by Sagar to come downstairs! Prabha watches them tensedly.
As everyone gathers downstairs, they find Sagar on the phone, talking to Rani, who invites them to a function, and he agrees. Madhvi comes and he tells her of it. She asks how they could all go? But Amma ji says that there isn’t anything wrong in going, as what’s happened had happened. she says that Rani is extending her hand after a long time, and they shouldn’t deny it. Sagar asks them to go on then.
Amma ji asks Supriya to stay back, as she is towards the end of the first trimester. Madhvi says that she would stay back to take care of Supriya, and asks Amma ji to go with Sagar. Ragini expresses her desire to go. They tensedly comply. Amma ji says that she should take Gangaa. All are shocked. Amma ji says that Gangaa would take care of her. She asks them to start packing up soon, now that they have decided finally.
At the Function Venue, Gangaa finds Santoshi coming in and She’s super pleased, and rushes to hug her, while she doesn’t recognise her. Santoshi retorts back that she doesn’t. Ragini asks why she’s talking to Gangaa like that? Santoshi retortfully talks to her back too. Gangaa identifies herself to the lady with Santoshi, and explains their meeting. She stops Ragini who is being pestering. Santoshi pretends that she doesn’t remember anything at all, since the head injury. When Santoshi sees Sagar and then Ragini, She asks Gangaa if she’s his wife? She explains to her about their friendship. They rushedly take her from there, to meet Amma ji and Sagar. The lady thinks that this is the reason, why her first plan failed, but today, that won’t happen at all!
Later, Santoshi grabs a food plate from the waiter, and hungrily starts gorging on the food. Ragini comes and finds her doing so, and asks for some food from her plate? Santoshi silently complies. Ragini takes one sweet for herself and one for Sagar, and kisses it, saying that it’s more special now! Santoshi is alarmed to see this. Ragini then goes and feeds the dessert to Sagar, while Santoshi watches on. The lady meanwhile wonders why hasn’t Santoshi returned?
Gangaa comes with Amma ji, and assures her that Santoshi would be around. Amma ji and Santoshi’s sister in law meet and exchange introduction, while the festivities continue on. Amma ji later takes Gangaa aside, and asks her to stay put, and not wander around, as she doesn’t want unecessary drama regarding her family since they know her. She then points out lovingly at Sagar, while Gangaa resignedly fumes. Santoshi meanwhile joins her Sister, in line to wait to bless the woman and her child. They bear on, as all people give her gifts and bless her. She then explains all the rituals to Santoshi, who performs them all. Then she tries to get Gangaa to perform, who is reluctant though. Ragini intervenes and says that she would do it too. Santoshi denies it. But Gangaa asks her to let her do it. Santoshi resignedly agrees, and then takes Ragini to do so. Santoshi sits beside a lady, and compliments her earrings, while she finds it weird.
Gangaa finds Ragini almost toppling the gifts plate over, and rushes to grab it to prevent it from falling. One of the ladies stops her, asking how dare she commit this big omen! The other ladies start pointing out barbed accusations. Santoshi’s sister wonders why are they referring to her as a widow, when she is dressed in coloured clothes? She then confronts Gangaa saying that they shouldn’t have allowed Gangaa to take part in the rituals! Ragini lashes at them not to irritate Gangaa, as she isn’t wrong!
Rani meanwhile lashes at Amma ji for bringing Gangaa here, and look at what she has done to them and their function now? Gangaa asks her to talk to her, not to Amma ji. But she still has to face retort. The ladies continue to reprimand and insult her, saying that she is the reason, people don’t go to visit Amma ji’s house. Santoshi fumes. They say that they are modern, but not to this extent. Ammaji is tensed, that there might be accusations hurled at her, and she might have to face insults too. The Ladies too start gossiping, and finally one of them comments that it’s indeed true, that since they have kept this philandering girl in the house, and the Son of the house is after her romantically, then they don’t have a right to cast accusations at anyone else.
Sagar refuses to speak up, waiting for Amma ji to take her stand, towards Gangaa once and for all. She starts pointing out that had she been in Gangaa’s place, she wouldn’t have ever done this, and God knows what harm she caused the unborn baby! He continues to apologise saying that today, he can’t do anything, as if he says anything, then ammaji would never stand up for her, and hopes that she says something to salvage Gangaa’s respect, as it’s now or never!
Meanwhile, Santoshi lashes and starts reprimanding them for being so hard on a girl who became a widow, when she didn’t even udnerstand the meaning of it. But she is shut by her Sister, that a widow is a widow, irrespective of her age! Sagar thinks that he has had enough, and can’t listen silently anymore. But before he could speak, Amma ji lashes at her and asks her to stay shut, as they have spoken enough, and if anyone says anything against Gangaa, no one would be as hard as her! She asks what omen is she talking about, as Gangaa is so powerful that she can take away others’ taints, and she can never be a bad omen. She then turns to Rani, and asks where were her family values, when she turned her back from her family, but when Gangaa was a stranger to them, she showered them with love, that Rani too never did! She says that they are right that she has attitude, but what they find as attitude, is actually her self respect, that doesn’t make her bow to anyone, but they won’t understand it! He is overwhelmed. She says that Gangaa speaks the truth, which people can’t fathom, and that she must have done something nice in her previous birth, that she got Gangaa in this avatar. She tells Gangaa that she has always given her pain, but she converted in into happiness, and showered it on just her and her family. She says that she would always pray that in some birth, she becomes Gangaa’s mother. Santoshi is elated. Amma ji gets overwhelmed while Santoshi says that she indeed spoke right, and starts clapping along with Ragini, while the other ladies fumes. Amma ji says that this isn’t needed, and that she is a widow, and hence knows these rules aren’t made by the lord, but the society strips them of colours. She says that they feel Gangaa is a widow and brings bad omen, to every ritual and function. She takes Sagar by the hand and leads her to Gangaa, and then takes Gangaa’s hand in the other. Both are boggled. She says that Gangaa isn’t a widow from this day forth. She takes Gangaa’s hand, and gives it to Sagar. Amma ji tells everyone that from this day henceforth, she declares that Gangaa is a part of their family, as Sagar’s would be wedded wife. They are shocked, while Gangaa and Sagar are overwhelmed. She asks why are they silent, as Gangaa is Sagar’s fiancee now, and extends an invitation to them all for marriage, and announces Gangaa’s marriage with Sagar. She says that now by this new status, She can perform all the rituals that are to be done. All are silenced. Sagar proclaims that Gangaa is his would be wife, and if anyone says anything against her, it wouldn’t be nice!
Santoshi praises his guts and indirectly lashes at Rani and her own Sister too. They resignedly comply. Gangaa gets to performing the rituals with her.
