Maham Anga says if you think that you are a Servant, than stay silent like him and let me think what to do next and one known fact is that Jalal isn’t your real brother, so you will not the get throne after him, only by planning and war can you get it. She says Salima and Ruqaiya can get it as they are from royal families, you should be calm and let me think and says I want to stay alone! Adham Khan says you only think but I know we will be Servants, he leaves.
Maham Anga thinks that now, Jodha isn’t just Jalal’s toy, she has dreamt of sitting beside Jalal’s throne and now she will, Maham Anga is tensed.
Jalal is still thinking who it could be. Ruqaiya is in thoughts, Hoshiyar says don’t worry, you will give heir and says what if Jodha doesn’t become a mother, Ruqaiya gives him a tight slap and says never say that again! I can’t think of killing Jalal’s child, I have gone through this, so I can’t think of doing it even for my own enemy, I am sad that I would not be the Queen mother, it was in Jodha’s fate, never think of this again! I am not that cheap, she ask Hoshiyar to get lost!!
Maham Anga comes to Jodha with Hamida to congratulate Jodha and says Jodha is going to fulfill Mughal’s dream. Jalal comes, Maham Anga says there is always hope in God’s house, I went to pray for you and look, it worked, I am very happy for you. Maham Anga thinks that Jalal seems to be not happy about it. Maham Anga ask the Priest to pray for them to save them from evil eye.
The Priest ask Jalal to stand beside Jodha, she prays for them. Jalal stand, but after the prayer, he goes. Maham thinks that Jalal is hiding something for sure.
Ruqaiya comes to Jalal and says I came on the King’s order as our friendship is over. Jalal says I wanted to talk to my friend. Ruqaiya starts to go.
Jodha comes and ask Ruqaiya to stop, I want to talk to Jalal in your presence, she stays back. Jodha ask Jalal why he broke his promise, as he asked her to follow her religion and for that, he went against all the Ministers, then why did he break his other promise? He had many other option to fulfill his desire, then why me? It’s evident that you don’t love me, then why did you do that to me?
Jalal says I am a King and I don’t have to answer for anything. Jalal thinks you should answer. Ruqaiya says you said Jodha is asking something, so you must answer her. He says enough! I don’t want to talk further, go from here, but Jodha doesn’t budge, he comes closer and very angrily ask her to go!!
Jalal is practising sword fighting and fight very angrily, Adkha comes to fight, Jalal throws him down, then realizes it’s Adkha, Adkha says you injured many soldiers and ask whether your health is not good? Jalal says I am a King and have fought with all odds. Adkha ask whether you will listen to common people? Jalal says it’s my duty and I will do that.
In court, a Thief comes, Jalal ask the Soldiers to cut his hands, all are stunned, second is a Couple, the man says she is having an affair with another man, she is pregnant, I was out of town, so this child is not mine for certain. Jalal clutches his hands and imagines himself and Jodha in the Couple.
Jalal ask the woman imagining her as Jodha whether she wants to say something, she says I love someone else and this child is it’s prove, I want divorce from my husband, but the husband says I fulfilled my relationship in full, then why should I give divorce? The woman says I don’t love him and I don’t want him to touch me.
The Couple fight, the man then says to have shame, people are laughing at you, but the woman says people are laughing at you that you are not a man. The man says to Jalal that she made fun out of my love, they then ask for justice. The woman says I can’t live with the one I don’t love.
Jalal shouts stop you cheap woman! Don’t you have fear of God that you made physical relationship with another man when you are married, this is the biggest sin, he ask the Minister to make sure this child is born, then kill this woman with stones in the centre of the road along with that man who is equally responsible for this sin!! The woman keeps saying this is not justice, the Soldiers takes her away.
Jodha is crying that it is a big thing for everyone that a queen is becoming a mother, but I am sad that Jalal did that without my consent. Hamida comes and says some big Priest came to bless your child, let’s go.
On the other side, Maham Anga says to Jalal that the Priest wants to bless your child as well as the Mughal’s heir. Jalal thinks it’s not my child niether the Mughal’s hier. Maham can sense the tension on Jalal’s face. They come outside and thinks looking at each other that you have hurt me a lot.
The Celebration is being started in Agra, the dancers performs to a song, Jalal remembers the Doctor’s words and clutches his fist. Jalal-Jodha gives tough looks to each other. Jodha remembers Jalal’s words that your consent was there that night.
After the song, the Priest ask Jalal to stand with Jodha beneath pure sheet, they stand, the Priest ask to hold hands, it will prove that you are thankful to each other for this news and because of you both, you have got this beautiful day, Jalal tries to smile and ask for Jodha’s hand, she very reluctantly gives her hand in his, the Priest prays for them.
Maham thinks that there is definitely something wrong because you are not happy.
The Priest ask them to pray, he ask Jalal to repeat my words. I am thankful to God that he made me a father, he gave me happiness to my family, gave this happiness to my Wife, keep this greatness in our relationship. The Priest then ask Jodha to repeat that God gave me oppurtunity to extend the Mughal family, God keep your hand on our relationship and love, Jodha very curtly repeats it. Jalal and Jodha look angrily at each other.
Jalal comes to Jodha and ask who’s child is this? Jodha ask wha? He ask her to answer! Jodha says this question has no sense, so I can’t answer, you cheated me, made relationship without my consent. Jalal says I didn’t break my promise.
Maham Anga listens to their convo and thinks that this was the reason for Jalal’s tension and who is so brave enough to make relationship with Jodha then?
Jalal asks Jodha who is responsible for her adultery and whose child is this?? Jodha stops him and points a finger at him. Jodha says you are a Mughal, but I am Rajvanshi and you have no right to insult me like this, I have memory of all my nights except that night in which I was with you, you first said that you made relationship with me, then said you didn’t do anything and didn’t break my promise, I was proud in front of Ruqaiya, but you cheated, I am Rajvanshi and we don’t have such values to even think of someone being someone’s else Wife!
Jalal says you have such arrogance, so I am also a Mughal and always keep my promise, I didn’t do anything that night, but you did a big sin and I have every right to ask my Wife that who is the father of her child, as he didn’t touch her! He warns her that soon, he will find the culprit and will punish him!!
Resham comes to Maham Anga and brings the Doctor who checked Jodha, Maham ask the Doctor whether you are sure that Jodha is pregnant? The Doctor says I have experience and I am sure about it. Maham says I will get to know that you took bribe from someone. The Doctor says I can’t do anything like this, and all the symptoms shows that Jodha is pregnant like tiredness, getting angry.
On the other side, Jodha is angry and says to Moti that I hate Agra and Agra people, you don’t know how much it hurts when your husband ask whose child you are carrying, we Rajvanshi do jauhur (self-immolation) if some man even touches us, then how can I think of this? Moti ask her to eat for the child’s sake.
Here, the Doctor says other symptoms is that women feel like vomiting.
On the other side, Jodha feels the same. Hamida comes and says it’s normal in these days, she gives home made powder for Jodha.
Here Maham Anga says to the Dotor that I know all these symptoms occur in pregnancy but how can she be…? She ask the Doctor in which month she is? The Doctor says it’s 1st month of pregnancy. Maham Anga thinks this means she made relationship in Amer. She shows fake concern for Jodha in front of the Doctor, about what should be given to Jodha to eat. She ask the Doctor not to disclose their talk to anyone and be careful, as Ruqaiya had a worse incident. The Doctor says Hamida is there to take care of her daughter-in-law.
In the kitchen, some girl in veil mixes some powder in the milk. Salima comes there and the girl quickly hide. She ask the Servant whether the milk is ready for Rahim? The Servant says yes.
At same time, Moti comes and ask for milk for Jodha, Salima senses someone and takes the milk glass from Moti, she taste it and says I had a doubt that someone was present here, Moti then goes with the milk, Salima again senses someone’s presence but leaves.
Maham Anga tells everything to Resham, Resham says you should ask Jalal about Jodha’s matter, but maham says I don’t want to make Jalal more tense, but I want to insult Jodha! Maham Anga and Resham makes some plan which is muted, she ask resham to hatch out their plan carefully and it should be done for the Mughal Saltanat .
Resham comes to Hoshiyar and tells that the child is not of Jalal, Hoshiyar is shocked and thinks how could this happen? She ask Resham to shut up, else her tongue will be cut off. Resham says it’s the truth and I will say it without any fear.
Hoshiyar informs everybody in the harem about Jodha’s child. Moti comes, all become silent. Resham ask moti that whether the child is of Jalal? Moti ask them to shut up! They say but Jalal didn’t spent any night with Jodha, then whose child is this? Moti says you people don’t have shame, they keep askin, so Moti leaves from there crying.
Jodha ask her what happened? Moti says nothing. Maham Anga comes and says she can’t tell you what she had heard, all are talking about you Jodha in the harem, Jodha ask what? Maham says I will find him and will punish him, we don’t share good raport, but I can’t bear the insult of Jalal, his Wife and his child, but soon, I will find that Culprit!
Jodha ask what are you saying? Maham says people have a feeling that this is not of Jalal but someone else, this rumor has spread throughout the whole harem.
