Salim says to Qutub that I have to work for people now, they trust me, I have to fulfill my duties, I have to serve them, Qutub says there was a time when you used to run away from these positions, Salim says I have realized that as the Crown Prince, I have some duties and I have to fulfil it, I want to become a King who makes everyone happy, who gives food, shelter to everyone, where no one becomes a Dancer like Anarkali.
Jalal comes to Ruqaiya, he shows her a special stone, Ruqaiya says it’s very nice, Jalal says I am going to give it to Malika- hind and you have to wait to know who is going to be be Malika Hind, he leaves.

Jalal comes there, a Servant informs that King of Iran has sent some Ministers, Jodha ask who is King of Iran? Hamida says he is great person, he has helped us at difficult times, he is prestigious in Muslim countries.
Haidar is angry that when will he take revenge on Jalal??? His Uncle ask him to be calm, not in a haste in fulfilling your dreams, be patient, Haidar says how much time will it take?? He gets angry.
Jalal meets the Ambassador of Iran, they present him some gifts, Jalal ask them to attend the celebrations, they agree, he ask Fazal to take care of them, he leaves.
One Minister ask the other why didn’t you tell Jalal the message of Iran’s King to him (Jalal)? The other says that the thing is important, we will talk to him after marriage.
All comes to the ceremony, Jalal comes there, he says this ceremony is to celebrate peace, he ask to start the ceremony.
Anrakali comes there and dances tp Allah Ka karam rehe, Salim is curtly looking at Anarkali, he says to Qutub whenever I see Anarkali, I feel that she is in this state because of me, Qutub says why are you saying this? You can’t change the fate of anyone.
Jalal praises Anarkali’s dance, he gifts her some gold coins, Anarkali takes it and thanks Jalal, she looks at Salim, he smiles at her, she leaves.
Birbal says Jalal wants to announce something important, Salima ask Jodha do you know about it? Jodha says this is the first time Jalal have not discussed the thing with me, I don’t know about it. Ruqaiya thinks but i know about it.
Iran’s Ambassador come there, Jalal welcomes them, Jalal says today, I want to give titles to my Wives who helped me in difficult times, he ask Salima to come first, she comes in front of Jalal, Jalal says in my absence, Salima has seen to the finance of the Mughal Saltanate, her work is not replaceable, so I give her the title of KOH-SULTAN. He says then, I want to call my Wife who was with me from Childhood, she was always there with me, he calls Ruqaiya, he gives title of TAJDARI BEGUM to Ruqaiya, he makes her wear the crown, Ruqaiya thinks Jalal can’t insult me like this! She finds another there for Jodha and finds special stone in-craved in it which Jalal has shown her.
Jalal then calls Jodha, she comes, Jalal says Jodha have touched my heart by her great works, and now in this crisis, she has worked day and night with me to stable things, so I give her the title of Malika-hind (Queen of India), he makes her wear the crown, she smiles, Ruqaiya is angry.
Jalal says now one more gift is remaining, he says in my absence, Salim had controlled everything, he fought war in my absence and won it, I can proudly say that he can handle the country after me, he says his gift is that after me, he will be King and owner of India, he is about to make him wear the crown, but Iran’s ambassador says first, let us read the message of Iran, after which you can make him wear it, it’s important, Jalal says okay, read it.
The Ambassador says first, you have to ask Women and Non-Muslim people to go out from here, Jalal says they all are my own people. The Ambassador says sorry to say, but we can’t read it in front of anyone, Jalal leaves with them, Jodha says what message could it be?
Jalal comes to the room with the Ambassadors, he says you stopped me from giving title to the Crown Prince, but I beared it only because you are from Iran, he ask them to tell what the problem is.
Outside, all are waiting, Todar ask what it can be, that they didn’t allow Hindus? Birbal says not all Kings are like Jalal, Jalal respect every religion.
Jodha is worried about Jalal, Ruqaiya recalls how Jalal gave title to Jodha, she cuts her hand, she screams, Jodha ask what happened? She says nothing.
The Ambassador reads the letter of Iran’s king, it reads that;
Your Nikah (Marriage) with Jodha is illegal, as she didn’t accept Islam till now, and this way, Salim will be called illegal Son, so he can’t become the King of India…!
Jalal says enough!
Jalal ask the Ambassador to stop, he says if someone else had said this, I would have killed him! If someone points a finger at my Son, then I won’t tolerate it! I won’t listen to anything against Salim and Jodha!
The Priest ask him to listen them once, Jalal says why?? I have married Jodha with all rituals. One Ambassador says that in Islam, after marriage, the Wife has to change her religion, if you want to keep your name in good books of the world, then ask Jodha to change her religion.
Jalal says I respect Iran’s king, he has helped us a lot, but I can’t forget that I have gotten Mughal Saltanate with my fight, I have gotten it with my intelligence, and I won’t tolerate his interference in my government! The Ambassador says but you cant deny Islamic rules, Jalal says if I don’t accept your point then?
The Ambassador says then people from India will be banned for pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia! Jalal is shocked, he says no one will enter Makkah and Madina from India, your stubborn nature will land the people of India in problem, and other bans will be imposed on you too, you won’t be able to go to Iran! Jalal says you are warning me?? Go and tell your King, I don’t care!
The Priest says to Jalal that this matter is complicated, I want you to think about it, as religion is involved.
The Ambassador says you discuss with your Priests, we will come later, they leave.
The Priest says to Jalal that if Iran’s King impose ban, then people of India will suffer. Jalal says I can’t force anyone to accept Islam and I have given nod to Jodha to follow her religion! Fazal says but Muslim world respects Iran King a lot, we will have to suffer because of your stubbornness, Jalal thinks.
Ruqaiya comes to her room, she is crying, she shouts at Hoshiyar, beats him that he wanted reward, I have became Tajdari begum, she ask to take this crown! She says once more, Jodha has won, what she doesn’t want, she always gets it and what I want, I never get it! I always try to be nice to her, but Jalal everytime, does something that makes me hate her! Am I not beautiful?? Am I not intelligent? Then why does Jalal just keep thinking of Jodha? She cries.
Hamida is not eating anything, she says when Jalal comes, then I will eat, Jalal comes there, she ask everything fine? Jalal says all fine, it was just a political thing, Hamida ask is anything related to religion? Jalal says no, they stopped me giving crown to Salim, as they thought the pious time was gone, so I will give Crown later, he looks at Jodha and leaves, Jodha thinks there is something that is bothering Jalal.
At night, Jodha is lying on her bed, she recalls how Jalal was tensed, she says Jalal was saying everything was fine, but he seems tensed, he always comes to say good night, but didn’t come today, I have to talk to him.
Jodha comes to Jalal, she ask what happened? You didn’t sleep? Jalal says he was not getting sleep, Jodha says you seem tensed, what is the matter? Jalal says nothing, Jodha says no, there is something, you share everything with me, then why hiding it? Jalal says I didn’t like it when they stopped me from giving Crown, Jodha ask what they said in the meeting? Jalal says nothing, it was some political issue, he ask her to go and sleep.
Anarkali comes to the market to meet Sakina, she says you are a royal dancer now, Anarkali says I am Nadela for you, She tells that Jalal was stopped by the Ambassador of Iran when he was giving Crown to Salim, it was wrong, he helped people a lot, he works day and night for the betterment of the people, Sakina ask how you are praising him all of a sudden? Anarkali says I have understood that I was wrong about him, I was hating him for his Childhood acts, but he is a nice person, Sakina says so you love him? Jalal tells everything to Hamida and says now you understood why I didn’t tell it to Jodha, we have to find a solution, Hamida says we have friendship with Iran, how can they talk like this? Jalal says I will not force Jodha to change her religion, I have told you everything, as your point matters to me, I have called meeting of my Ministers and I want you to attend it.
Jalal and Hamida comes to the meeting, he asks the Ministers did you find any solution to this problem? The Priest says I tried to find some solution, but Islam clearly says that one have to change religion to Islam after marriage, Jalal says that we don’t have solution doesn’t mean we will agree to Iran, till now, no one had problem, I won’t force Jodha, as King, I have to respect everyone, I have already said that everyone is free to follow any religion in my reign.
Hamida says we can’t force Jodha, but then, people will suffer, they all discus the matter but can’t find solution, Jalal says one thing is clear, I won’t ask Jodha to change religion.
Qutub ask Salim are you still worried? Salim says I am worried about Iran’s matter, Jalal always want me to attend every meeting, but he didn’t call me in that meeting, Daniyal says don’t think about it much, let’s roam around in the market, it will set your mood, they go to the market.
Sakina gets to know that her father has become ill, Anarkali ask her to go while she will handle her shop, Sakina leaves.
Salim comes and starts checking daggers, he finds Anarkali there, they both look at each other, she greets him, he ask any problem that you are working here? Haidar comes to meet the Ambassadors of Iran, the Ambassador ask what did Jalal decide? Haidar’s Uncle thinks that we are trying to find what their conditions are? Haidar says Jalal is thinking about it. The Ambassador says he has to ask Jodha to change religion else people from India will not go on pilgrimage! Haidar and his Uncle leaves. Haidar says I will use this news against Jalal, I will lit fire in Salim and Jalal’s relationship again!
Jodha comes to Jalal’s room, she says I was thinking to play Chess with you, Jalal says I was thinking to spend time with you too, Jodha ask you remember our Marriage? Jalal says yes, I did Nikah with you, then married you with Hindu rituals, Jodha says you are a liar, if you remember our Marriage, then you must remember that you swore to share everything with me, you will never hide anything, think if I get to know about anything, not from you, but from someone else, then how much hurt I will be? Jalal says I also don’t want you to know it from someone else, but the thing is such that I was hesitant to tell you, Jodha says I know the problem is severe, you can tell me, Jalal says actually, the King of Iran doesn’t want me to make Salim King, Jodha is stunned.
Jodha ask Jalal what decision will you take? Jalal says I have not taken the decision yet, I wanted to talk to you, I am thankful to you, as I feel good after talking to you, don’t worry, I will find some way.
Qutub comes to Salim and says you seem tensed? Salim says I don’t know why the Ambassador of Iran stopped my Crown ceremony, Jalal is not involving me in any matter, don’t know why they don’t want me to get the Crown, he ask Qutub to go to his Wife, he says you are lucky that someone waits for you, Qutub says people love you too, Jalal, Jodha, Hamida all loves you, Salim says all love me, but not the one whom I love (Anarkali).
Jalal recalls how they called Salim illegal and said Salim can’t become King, he imagines himself to be standing on the chess table, Jalal imagines Ambassador saying that this is the decision of Iran and it is respected in whole muslim nations, if you want to make your Son legal for Kingship, then ask your Hindu Wife to accept Islam or else, people from India will be banned in Saudia! Jalal imagines Jodha saying that you promised me that you will not force me to change religion, Jalal is worried thinking about all this.
Salim is practicing sword fighting with Soldiers, Daniyal and Murad comes, Salim ask them to have sword fighting, Murad says we can’t raise sword against you, Daniyal says what if you punish us when you become King? Salim says you both will always remain bothers to me.
Jodha tells Badrinath that Jalal is in a fix to make Salim King, what if he makes Salim King and then the people suffer and what if Salim doesn’t like it that he didn’t make him the King? What if they both get against each other? Badrinath says;
According to Jalal’s fate, fight is a must between Jalal and Salim, he will find solution for the time being, but there will be fight, he ask Jodha to keep praying and don’t worry.
Salim finds Anarkali coming to the Palace, he finds one Snake approaching her, he runs and pushes her away, they both fall on ground together, Anarkali ask what was that? Salim shows her the Snake and says there was no time to inform you, so I had to touch you, he stands up and gives his hand, Anarkali holds his hand and gets up, Anarkali says I should say sorry, you saved me again, Salim says I had to save you at any cost, Anarkali says I want to say sorry, I was wrong about you, I feel guilty to think about you like that, Salim says you made me feel good saying all this, Anarkali turns to go, Salim holds her hand, she ask him to let her go, he leaves her hand and says spend sometime with me, I am tired of all this Kingship, Palace, if you will talk to me, I will feel good, Anarkali looks at him, he extends his hand, Anarkali holds it, he smiles, Rabba is pyar mein plays…
Salim and Anarkali sit, Salim ask a Servant to bring wine, she brings it, he is about to drink it, Anarkali says now you have to leave all these bad habits, Salim says I can leave my breathes for you, so he doesn’t drink it, Anarkalu says I am not saying all this for me, but for Mann Baisa, she has asked me to do this. Salim says wish you had shown right on me, it would have felt more good, Anarkali says I have no right on you now, she is your fiancee so she has right on you, it’s late night, I should leave, she leaves.
Salim says I never wanted to get the Throne but now, I want to get it so to give you the right, I want to see you, as Queen of India and that will happen only when I will become King.
Jalal ask his Ministers did you find solution? One Priest says that we should not go against time, Jalal says you want me to acccept Iran’s proposal? Jalal ask Birbal? Birbal says this is a difficult time, you have to take decision if Jodha will change religion or not? If you will make Salim King or not? Nobody can give you suggestion, it’s your family matter, so you have to decide, it’s my suggestion to take no one’s suggestion, Jalal thinks.
Jodha is doing Tulsi prayer, she is worried for Jalal, she prays to keep peace between Salim and Jalal’s relationship, Jalal comes there, he looks at the tensed face of Jodha, he says where it is gone, where…? Jodha ask what are you finding? Jalal says your smile, once you told me that we should keep smiling in difficult times, as it support you and now your smile is lost? Jalal ask her to smile for him, she smiles, Jodha says it’s all because of me, I should not have asked you to promise at marriage time and you would have not suffered now.
Jalal says you didn’t force me, you did ask for promises and I did accept it and I told you that I will never force you to change religion and I will not change it for Iran, I have given freedom to everyone in my nation, so I can’t force you, what will my people think? This is not Iran but India, my ancestors didnt force people too, we love people here and we will never force them, he says there is some problem, but I will solve it, you don’t take tension.
Ruqaiya comes to Jodha and ask what’s the problem, you seem tensed? Jodha says nothing, Ruqaiya says I am Jalal’s friend and your friend too, tell me, maybe I can help, Jodha tells her everything, Ruqaiya says why is Iran involving in our family matter? Jodha says Jalal will find a way, but I am worried about Salim, what will he feel? She says I want Jalal to find a way that would not hurt Salim nor the people, Ruqaiya says don’t worry, Jodha leaves. Ruqaiya says such a big thing happend and Jalal didn’t tell me, this is not good!
Salim is in thoughts, he recalls how he saved Anarkali from Snake, how she took his hand to get up, he says Anarkali, Queen of India, it feels good to listen to it.
Ruqaiya comes there, she ask did you try to find out why Iran has stopped Jalal from giving you Crown? Salim says I would have asked them, but Jalal said he will handle them, he said he will make me wear crown on pious day, Ruqaiya says you are innocent, you cant get Crown and Throne, Iran King wants Jodha to accept Islam so that you can become legal Muslim and only then, will you get the throne, Jalal is trying to find out a way, they didn’t tell you about it, but there is one problem, Jalal will not ask Jodha to change religion, so maybe for his promise to Jodha, he will destroy your future, Salim is shocked.
Salim comes to Jalal and ask why did you stop from giving me Crown? Tell me clearly that you don’t want me to become King? Why are you not letting me enter any meeting? Jalal says you want to know what’s my decision? Salim nods, Jalal shows him the Throne and says this has many pricks, king has to answer many question, this Throne makes you go away from your family, they make brothers enemy, what you think, that you will get everything by getting this Throne? No, it will take away your sleep, it was onlt me who wanted to make you King, I was making you wear Crown, but I will never force Jodha to change religion, I ask future King Salim that what would be his decision if he was in my place? Give answer to yourself, he leaves, Salim thinks.
Jodha brings food for Salim, he says I am not hungry Mariam-uz-Zamani (Ultimate Queen). Jodha ask what happened? Salim says you knew everything even then you didn’t tell me, Iranis asked you to changed religion to make me King and you didn’t inform me, Jodha says I didn’t want you to get hurt, Jalal will find a way to solve problem, Salim says Jalal has asked me to find solution and tell him, Jodha says Jalal has solved many problems, but this problem has involved his loved ones, You, Me and the Nation, he wants to know what you would decide, he wants to check you. Salim says but this decision is for me only.
Jodha says when a Son is raised, a father wants Son to take charge of everything, you have to become King, you will have to handle every matter, have faith in yourself, I am sure you will solve this matter too, when you feel hungry, eat food, I have made it with so much love for you, she leaves, Salim is impressed.
Jalal is getting ready, Jodha is making him wear coat, she ask him to stand straight, Jalal ask why you seem miffed with me? Jodha says why did you put Salim in this problem?? Jalal says I want to know what would be his answer, his opinion matters, Jodha says I don’t know anything, but Salim should not be in problem, Jalal says Salim is the future King, he has to solve these problems, Jodha says I know you want to make him big King, but why you take weird steps? Jalal says I am weird, which is why you like me, I promise I won’t let anythign wrong happen.
Daniyal says to Murad that Jalal wants Salim to answer King of Iran, how can he dare to stop Salim from becoming King? It’s only Jalal who will decide it, Murad says if needed, then we will do war against Iran. Haidar’s Uncle thinks that if War happens, then Haidar will be benefited.
In court, Salim comes, Jalal looks at him, he greets Jalal, Jalal ask Salim to answer his question in front of all, he says to all Ministers that I asked Salim that if he was in my place, what would his answer be to this problem?
Hamida says to Jodha that this is test of Salim to become King. Salim says I want to ask one question, he says when in childhood, I hit a guy, you punished me, but didn’t ask for my opinion then, I want to say that everytime, I had to follow your orders, Why?? Hamida says enough, don’t forget he is King of India!
Salim says I am just answering, he says only orders of King matter, everyone has to follow his orders, only King of India will decide what will happen in India and nobody can stop him, if I was King, I would have not let anyone interfere in our matters, we are self built people and if anyone will try to surpass us, then we can answer him with guns, weapons and bravery.
Jalal says great, he hugs Salim and says you proved today that you deserve to be King, I am announcing that I will crown Salim, invite Ambassadors of Iran too.
One Priest says that Iran’s King is influential, royal family of Iran is very religious, they follow Islamic rules, they wanted to trade with India, but they didn’t like it when you cancelled tax from Indians, they have helped us in past too, we can’t insult them. Jalal says they have insulted us, everyone in India have freedom to follow any religion, we can’t make India an Islamic nation, as Salim said, last decision is for the King, so as King, I announce that tomorrow is the Crown ceremony of Salim, Salim smiles.
Ambassadors of Iran gets invitation of the Crown ceremony, they say to Jalal’s Priest that you know Iran’s King will not like it and Jalal will have to suffer? The Priest says I can’t do anything, the Ambassador says we will come in function to show Jalal what mistake he has done, King of Iran will not forgive him!
Jalal comes to the Harem (Women Quarters), Hamida says Salim gave right speech today, Salima says Salim proved that he is talented, Jodha says my Son is talented, but Jalal always test him. Ruqaiya says the good thing is that the decision is in Salim’s favour.
Jalal says I had to take decision in his favour else, I had to bear the wrath of Jodha, Hamida says to Jalal that you rule whole India, but my daughter (Jodha) rules you, keep it up Jodha, all smiles. Ruqaiya thinks that I will not let you live in peace Jodha!
Jodha and Jalal are lying on bed, Jodha says I should leave now, Jalal says don’t go, Jodha says I have to go to Aram Bano, you know she can’t sleep without listening to story, Jalal says I can’t sleep without you, please stay here tonight, Jodha says no, Jalal says it’s King’s order, Jodha laughs and says you are stuborn like a small child, Jalal says I won’t let you go, Jodha says then Aram Bano will come, Jalal says let her come.
A Servant comes and says Bakshi and some people want to meet you in the garden, Jodha says but she went on a pilgrimage.
Jalal comes and meet caravan of who were going for pilgrimage, Bakshi says we were stopped and said that Indian’s are banned in Saudia, Salima says the Crown ceremony has not been done and they have started putting sanctions, we should stop the Ceremony, Jodha says but Salim will get hurt, Jalal says the Ceremony will happen at only the given time.
Salim comes to the Mosque to pray, he gives some coins and says to distribute to the Poor in name of late Rashid Khan, Anarkali comes there and listens to this, she greets Salim, he looks at her, Salim says your father died because of me, I can’t ask for forgiveness from him, so praying to God to forgive me, soon, I will become King, I want to serve people and will make sure that no one is hurt in my Nation, Anarkali says I am happy to see you happy, I was tensed seeing you that night in pain, Salim says thank God, you were there that night else, my life would have stopped that day.
Anarkali puts hand to stop him from saying anything, Salim touches her hand, she blushes at first, but then moves away and says this is wrong, Salim says hiding your feelings is wrong, you love someone and don’t tell him, this is wrong, I love you a lot, she stops him and says some things are better not to be said, I am only your Servant, I can’t be your love, Salim says you are not a Servant or Dancer, for me, you are Nadela, you are that Anarkali who loved me as a common Soldier.
Anarkali says that Anarkali died when she wore Musical anklets, now this Anarkali is a Dancer, I don’t deserve your love now, she turns away, Salim thinks that the day I become King, I will marry you and will make you Queen of India, this is my promise, he leaves.
Anarkali prays to God that in what situation am I in? I can’t tell the one I love and also, I can’t deny my love, she thinks to say bye to him, but then thinks that my one move towards him can give him hope and can destroy Mann Baisa’s life.
Jalal ask to start the Ceremony, the Crown is presented to him, Jalal says this Ceremony was stopped earlier, but I will complete it today and I want to see who can stop me, he says I am giving Crown to… Prince Murad, all are shocked, he comes to Murad and makes him wear the Crown, Salim is shocked.
Jalal says he is my legal Son, I don’t think Iran’s King will have any problem and he will not stop people from going to pilgrimage and Jodha will not have to change religion? The Ambassador says good.
Jodha says what did Jalal do? Salima says Salim is so hurt, Jalal looks at Salim and says I don’t think anyone should have any problem with my decision as it’s the King’s decision.
Salim is angry in his room, Jodha comes there and says I know what happened today was wrong, Salim says you said that when Son becomes young, father becomes his friend, he says I don’t have problem that he made my brother Murad wear the Crown, but why did he insult me like this in front of all?? Jodha says I am hurt about what happened with you, Salim says no one can do anything, you can’t talk to Jalal, I didn’t have problem with making Murad next King, but Jalal has to answer why he insulted me?? Salim says you don’t have to do anything, just sit beside me, Anarkali is wearing musical anklets, he looks at them and gets sad, he bows down to take them off, Anarkali says don’t touch my feet, I am your Servant, Salim makes her sit, he says I want to take off this musical anklets fom your feet and want to lessen my sin, let me take them off. Salim takes off the musical anklets from her feet and throws them away, she looks at him stunned, Salim says because of me, you had to become a Dancer, Anarkali says we should not recall memories that hurt us, Salim says only you understand me.
The Servant comes and says Murad has sent message that he wants to discuss something with you, Salim says tell him that I am busy right now, will talk later! The Servant says okay and leaves.
Jalal is with Jodha, a Servanr brings food, Jodha ask why did you bring it? I didn’t ask for food, Jalal says I asked her to bring it, as you are not fasting, so I thought to have breakfast with you, it’s been ages since I shared breakfast with you, he ask her to eat grapes, Jodha is skeptical and doesn’t eat the grapes, Jalal also doesn’t eat it and keeps hiding them, they both act as if they are eating.
Jalal says I was thinking that you do Prayer for your family and if you don’t do it, then will anything happen to your family? Jodha says you should have thought about it before, Jalal says who will do prayer in your place? Jodha thinks I forgot this, Jalal says I am thinking to spend time with you today, Jodha says no, I have headache. Jalal says you don’t eat which is why you get ill, he ask her to eat apple, Jodha is tensed, Jalal says I was thinking that you never miss prayer?
Jodha says if you had allowed me to change religion, then I would have done the prayer for the last time. Jalal says I will never allow for that, if you think that I am egoistic, then so be it, it’s good that you ate breakfast, he leaves.
Jodha says he’s stubborn, but I will make him agree, Jodha thinks what to do about the prayer? The Servant comes and says all are waiting for you, Jodha says I will not come for the prayer, Jodha thinks I lied to everyone that I am not fasting, but my fast will be complete only with this prayer, but I don’t want Jalal to know about it, what to do?
