At home, when everyone is gathered in the living room. They all decide to make new year’s resolutions.
Rajveer enters and jacks Sid by his collar. He asks Sid why he is asking questions about him when he can come straight to him! He says he now thinks Mona was right about him when she said Sid doesn’t want all of them to live under the same roof!
Roshni asks Rajveer what’s going on?
Rajveer tells her that Sid was going to ask if his business is real or fake! He starts shedding fake tears and tells Sid that he is forgetting that he put all his Money into making this business.
Sid says he was there for something else. Rajveer says the registrar called him and said Sid made enquiries about him. He tells Samaira that if he knew it would be like this, he wouldn’t have come to her family! Mona tells him to take it easy.
Rajveer says the family never misses an opportunity to humiliate Mona, so it’s no surprise he won’t be spared, but he can’t stay in the house anymore!
Sid tries to explain, but Mona tells him not to say anything! She says Roshni falsely accused Samaira earlier, and now he is doing this? She warns that if they don’t stop bothering her daughter and Son-in-law immediately, then she won’t spare them!
Grandmother tries to talk to Mona, but she walks away. Bablu tells Sid that he will talk to Mona later when she has calmed down.
DD returns home and sees everyone is not in a happy mood. She asks what’s wrong? Everyone walks out of the living room, leaving her with her Mother.
Sid is standing by the balcony, deep in his thoughts. Roshni joins him and says he was trying to cheer her up in the Morning and now, he himself is sad. She says she will say the same thing he said to her, it doesn’t matter who believes him, she believes him. She begs him not to let what Mona said get to him; relationships are fragile.
Sid says relationships are not fragile, but problems can shatter relationships. He begs her to promise that no matter the problems, she will not let it affect their relationship. Roshni makes him a promise not to leave his side no matter what. He hugs her🤗. Sid thinks if she’s with him, he can get Ravjeer out of DD’s family and protect them. She reminds him that they have to go and spend sometime with the Children (NGO kids) for New year’s eve. Sid says when they come back they need to spend time with her Mum.
Simran and Raj are getting ready to go and join Roshni and Sid for New year’s eve. Simran says she doesn’t feel right leaving Krutika all by herself.
She suggests taking her with them, but making her promise not to say anything to Roshni.
Raj tells her Krutika won’t keep her promise and he knows she will create a scene over there; he doesn’t want anything to go wrong especially as they haven’t seen Sid and Roshni in a while.
Krutika appears in the doorway and tells them to go to their party. She accuses Simran of not being strong enough to stand her ground. Raj says her behaviour is what is preventing them from showing her off to the world and the day she changes, he will proudly tell the world she is Krutika Khurana. Raj takes Simran’s hand and they leave.
At the dinner venue (Roshni’s NGO), Roshni asks Sid if he needs a baby boy or girl? He says he already has a girl whom he adopted some time ago whose name is Roshni. She laughs and says she needs a Son like him and he says a daughter like her.
Simran and Raj arrive.
Sid and Roshni are very happy to see them. Simran hugs Roshni, and asks to see the kids.
Krutika is watching from her car and crying as she sees Simran hug Roshni. Roshni calls the Children. Simran distributes gifts to them. Roshni asks Simran for her gift, so Simran gives her a bracelet and helps her put it on, then they hug again, as she likes the gift a lot.
Sid tells Simran she gave gift to Roshni and even the Kids, but where is his own gift? She gives him a bowl of his favourite sweet/til laddoo.
Kritika can’t stop the tears as she watches them all tease each other and have fun.
Simran feeds Roshni and Sid.
Krutika tells herself that Simran calls her ‘daughter’ but doesn’t express her love to her the way she is doing to Roshni.
Sid takes a Child to the bathroom and Raj leaves the women to talk.
Simran tells Roshni that she wants her and Sid to come and live with them. Roshni tells her not to worry because Sid has managed to bring her family together, and they will be able to come home soon.
Simran hugs and prays for her.
Krutika is still watching and crying.
Raj tells Sid not to worry.
Sid says he can’t get over what he discovered about Rajveer, and he is worried that by the time he gets enough proof to expose him, it might be too late. Raj tells him to be careful and not make any move till he has enough evidence. Sid says that’s all he’s waiting for. They see a bottle fly-past them and shatter on a tree.
Raj says it must be from a drunk person, and drags him from there.
Krutika is the one who threw it.
She hides behind a car and she’s angry that the bottle missed Sid’s head!
Rajveer is on the Phone with a Contact who tells him that Sid made enquiries about his life in the US too. He decides he needs to do something about it!
Samaira asks him if he’s ready for the party? He gets upset and accuses her of caring about only 2 things, party and shopping and if she cared enough, she would know he is stressed! He says her Sister and her husband are making enquiries about his US life, and if she cares about him she would leave him alone! He grabs her forcefully by the shoulders as he talks, then shoves her.
Mona sees it and she is confused.
Sid Roshni, their Parents and the Children all countdown into the New year together and they all dance to celebrate. Sid holds Roshni and wishes her a happy New year.
Krutika says they are so happy, and she can’t stand it! She will make sure she takes it away from them!
DD is at home with her Mother.
Grandmother asks if she won’t attend the New Year’s eve party?
DD says she is using the opportunity of Sid and Roshni not being home to plan a reception for them. She tries to call Mona, but grandmother tells her to leave Mona alone as she is not speaking to anyone since the incident with Roshni and Samaira.
The party planners come to the house and they settle for a beach party.
DD says she wants a ritual as well so she can bless them.
Pratima says she couldn’t attend their wedding, so this would be fun!
Grandmother says finally, Sid would be receiving his Mother-in-law’s blessings, and he insisted on staying in the house just to get that.
DD asks for the guest list and looks through. She says Pratima didn’t include Sid’s Parents on the list and she wants them to be there. She doesn’t want to fight with them anymore. Grandmother says she’s very proud of DD! She says her Son-in-law has changed her for good!
DD tells her not to praise him too much!
Mona enters and says she has seen that things have been happening in the house, her daughter and Son-in-law are being accused of a lot of things in the house, and in spite of all that, DD is planning a party for her own Son-in-law and daughter, so she has become biased!
DD says she has always treated Sam and Roshni the same way and brought them up alike. Mona says if that were the case, DD would have been planning a party for Sam and Rajveer too! She says DD doesn’t even care about the worries of the people who have been there for her!
DD tells the planners to please excuse her. They leave and Mona asks DD if she has planned what to do about her and her daughter, after all, she threw Kesar and Resham out, so DD should let her know if she wants to throw them out! She asks DD why she doesn’t want to make them feel like they belong in the family anymore?
DD says Mona has always treated Roshni like a daughter and she has done the same for Samaira.
Mona says she’s not sure that’s how things are anymore! She walks away.
Grandmother tells DD that she doesn’t understand why things go wrong anytime something good is about to take place in the house.
DD says she doesn’t understand why Mona is upset with her. She complains that if she doesn’t bless her daughter and Son-in-law, there’s a problem and if she blesses them, there’s also a problem.
Simran and Raj say they have to leave.
Roshni says seeing her the first day of the year means they will keep seeing them soon.
A taxi comes and Roshni tells them to go with it. Simran tells them to go, and Sid says they still have the Children, so his Parents should go instead. As they get into the Car, Raj tells Sid not to worry.
Krutika watches them in and tells herself that Sid stole everything from her, so she will murder his wife and if she can’t be happy, Sid won’t be happy either! One of the kids drops his present in the middle of the road and Roshni bends to pick it.
The Kids sees Krutika’s car coming and pushes Roshni out of the way.
The car hits the boy and he rolls on top of the bonnet to the roof and falls on the other side. Sid rushes to Roshni who is bleeding from the head, but she tells him to check on the boy.
Simran and Raj get home and ask for Krutika? The help says she has gone out. Simran says she may have gone to see that boy. Raj asks who it is?
Simran says Krutika has a boyfriend, but she has never seen him.
Krutika comes home looking frazzled.
She goes to her room and locks it.
Sid and Roshni take the boy and other Children to the hospital. The Doctor tells them that he needs to inform the Police.
DD tells her Mother that she needs to call Sid and Roshni to wish them a happy New year! She calls, and Roshni tells her she’s in the City Hospital. DD panics and asks what happened? Roshni says one of the boys got hit by a Car. Roshni gets dizzy and faints while still on the phone. Sid runs to rescue her and calls her name. DD panics and tells her Mother she needs to go to the hospital!
The Doctor nurses Roshni’s wounds and she wakes up. Sid asks her if she is fine? She asks him to take care of the Kid/Phatka instead. He says she is injured and not to worry.
Roshni is on the bed with a bandage on her head, when DD and grandmother rush in. Roshni tells them she’s fine now. DD asks what happened and Roshni tells her.
Roshni says she wants to go and check up on the little boy. DD tells her she can’t go. Roshni says just as DD is worried about her, so is she worried about the little boy. DD gets to the ward and sees the boy is being treated. Sid assures her nothing will happen to him.
DD apologises to Roshni and says she will ensure the boy is fine.
The Police arrive and ask Roshni if she saw who drove the Car?
Roshni says she can never forget her face! She says it was a black BMW and the number starts with MH and ends with 25.
The Police say they can find her.
DD tells them to find her and teach her and her Parents a big lesson!
Krutika is crying at home. She knows they won’t spare her! She asks why she got so drunk and wanted to kill Roshni!
Simran enters the room and asks what happened? Krutika says she is scared they might get separated.
Simran hugs her and says she won’t get separated from them. Krutika takes Roshni’s name, but then thinks if she tells about Roshni, Simran will not help her. Krutika lies that she hit a child by accident with her Car.
Simran suggests they go to the Police before they come to get her.
Krutika begs Simran to help her so they don’t get separated again! Simran says nobody will separate us.
The doorbell rings.
