Fifteen years later.
The household staff discusses Sumeet’s delay in waking up for college. Cheeku enters Sumeet’s room and wakes her up by singing a Lullaby. Sumeet realizes she’s late for her college performance and hurries to get ready.
Raj informs the College authorities to postpone the farewell performance for an hour, threatening to withhold any donations to the college otherwise. Masum’s husband questions Raj for rescheduling a business meeting to attend Sumeet’s college function. Raj states that he is Sumeet’s brother first and then a business partner. Masum complains about Sumeet’s behaviour to Dadi.
At college, Sumeet expresses her aspiration to become like her mother, Meet Hooda, in front of everyone, while Dadi, Masum, and her husband watch from home. Masum compares Meet and Sumeet’s lifestyles and claims that the latter can never be like Meet. Raj praises Sumeet, stating that she doesn’t have to be like Meet because she is already remarkable as Sumeet. He allows Sumeet to party with her friends but asks her to take Poonam along. Sumeet agrees.
Back at home, Masum hopes for her daughter Vani to get married soon. Vani reassures Masum not to worry about her marriage, and their father agrees. Meanwhile, Sumeet’s friends commend her for the idea of allowing Poonam to enjoy the hotel booked by Raj for the party. Sumeet notices a hotel owner scolding an elderly man for his poor work and intervenes by playing the drum and making the owner apologize to the elderly man. Sumeet’s admirer witnesses her act of kindness, and her friends also praise her.
One of Sumeet’s friends teases her about how her brother spoils her and suggests that she should explore the world instead of always following her brother Raj’s rules. Poonam informs Sumeet that she is stuck in traffic, which worries Sumeet about reaching home on time. Her friend offers to book a cab for her, and Sumeet agrees. Her friend promises to make the cab ride a memorable one.
While waiting for a cab, Sumeet’s admirer arrives on a bike, revealing himself as the one booked to drop her home. He praises her for helping the elderly man and accompanies her to the house. Sumeet’s admirer is overjoyed to have this opportunity with Sumeet and then leaves.
Sumeet meets Poonam, and Raj also arrives, questioning Poonam for letting Sumeet get out of the car. To protect Poonam, Sumeet lies to Raj. Inside the house, Vani notices Sumeet’s hands and discovers that she played the drum. Vani scolds Sumeet, aware that she played the instrument to help someone. Sumeet calms her down and assists her in getting ready to meet a guy and his family who are coming to see Vani for marriage.
Later, Sumeet discusses Vani’s achievements with the guy and his family. The guy’s mother discovers Vani’s hearing aid and demands more dowry to proceed with the marriage. Masum agrees, but Vani refuses. Raj and Sumeet support Vani’s decision, and the guy’s family leaves. Masum blames Sumeet, stating that she is the reason Vani lost her hearing ability. Sumeet becomes sad, and Raj tries to defend her, but she stops him.
Masum demands that Sumeet prove she possesses Meet’s qualities by arranging Vani’s marriage before Meet’s birthday, which is in seven days. Sumeet promises to fulfill Masum’s demand.
Sumeet feels the need to prove herself and find a suitable match for Vani. Raj arrives, but Sumeet insists on fighting this battle on her own. Dadi brings milk for Sumeet, and Raj expresses his concern for Vani. He believes in finding a relationship based on emotional connection. Raj assures Sumeet that he will find a solution and leaves with Dadi. Sumeet decides to investigate if Vani has ever had feelings for someone.
Vani advises Sumeet not to take Masum’s challenge seriously. She mentions wanting to transfer her job, but Abhay is against it. Sumeet searches Vani’s cupboard for clues and notices many purple items, despite Vani previously disliking the color.
Vani hesitates to answer but receives a video call from Abhay, who suggests using purple as the background color for slides. Vani reveals that she knows Abhay’s favorite color is purple. Sumeet playfully teases Vani and convinces her to confess her love for Abhay. They dance happily together. However, Vani believes she isn’t good enough for Abhay and wants to remain friends and asks her not to tell anyone.
Sumeet visits Abhay’s Office but is asked if she has an appointment by the receptionist. Sumeet hides inside a clothes trolley and sneaks in. She overhears a conversation about her favourite singer, Wonder Boy, and gets excited upon hearing his voice. Sumeet follows the voice and accidentally gets tangled in lights, nearly slipping but is saved by her admirer. She falls on him and asks if he knows Abhay and can help her meet him. He mentions Abhay’s presentation.
Sumeet realizes that he has never experienced love before, making it challenging to explain her situation. He confesses that he has loved Sumeet since their college days but never had the courage to express it. Sumeet promises to pray for him to find his love if he helps her. She tells him about Vani and Abhay.
Sumeet opens Abhay’s office door and pretends that Vani fell and got hurt. Abhay panics and starts looking worriedly. Sumeet introduces herself as Vani’s sister and urges Abhay to recognize his love for Vani before it’s too late. Vani overhears their conversation, learning about Sumeet revealing her feelings to Abhay.
Shagun arrives at the office and accidentally bumps into Sumeet without noticing her. She enters Abhay’s office and overhears about Sumeet. Meanwhile, Sumeet tries to convince Vani that Abhay loves her, but Vani blames Sumeet for jeopardizing their friendship.
Masum scolds Sumeet for her actions and challenges her to make Abhay accept Vani’s relationship within 24hrs, threatening to disown her as Meet’s daughter and taking the Wristwatch from her.
