Sameer is on the call when Shristhi is sitting on the bed, she goes to hug him when he feels stunned asking what has happened as her mood changes really quickly, she doesn’t let him turn her and exclaim she is feeling really loved, she stands when he kisses her hand but just then Rakhi comes informing that the moon has risen, she in excitement tries to run away but Sameer is tensed, she pulls him.
Prithvi reaches the house knocking on the door but no one opens it, he entering wonders what was the need to break the belongings of this house since they all are already poor, he notices her sitting so goes to sit beside her, Prithvi is shocked seeing the blood so questions who is behind it, she blames Arjun and Rishab.
Prithvi stands up when she explains the gangsters from whom he took one million came by the house, she wants him to take their revenge from both Arjun and Rishab as had he partnered with them then all of their problems would have been sorted, she threatens to harm herself if he is not able to do it, Prithvi assures he would take her revenge from all those who caused her to cry, Prithvi is really furious.
Maa Sahab instructs the girl to quickly perform the pooja since the moon is shining, Preeta starts performing the pooja while standing with Rishab on the higher balcony.
Arjun is really mad to see them both together, he is constantly staring them thinking it is all just nonsense, including the marriage and love of seven generations, he also married but it turned to be fake as Preeta used to keep this varth for his long life but then planned for his death.
Arjun seeing Preeta recalls the KarvaChawth which they both had spent together, Preeta takes out the vase from which she starts pouring the water, Arjun feels really disturbed seeing her perform it, Preeta closes her eyes after which she picks the oil lamp in her hands and takes it to first look at the moon, Arjun is still staring at her when Preeta suddenly recalls all of the moments spent with Karan, she starts getting emotional and while everyone else turn to look at their husbands.
Preeta feels dizzy as Rishab is standing beside her, she slowly turns but then falls over the balcony, Rishab tries to catch her but she falls however Arjun manages to catch her as she is unconscious, he quickly rushes to make her lie down on the bench, requesting her to open her eyes.
Arjun quickly sprinkles water over her face and then he even asks her to drink it, she is meanwhile just thinking about Karan, Arjun assures he is with her and nothing would ever happen to her, the guests start to talk wondering if he is the husband of Preeta since he broke her fast, but they conclude that Arjun is not her husband.
The Luthras are also performing the rituals to break the Varth (fast), Rakhi and Shristhi also take the oil lamp to first look at Moon before turning to look at their husbands.
Mahesh tries his best to make Rakhi smile, he refuses to let her take his blessings meanwhile Sameer tears Shristhi. Mahesh breaks the fast of Rakhi with his own hands while Sameer does the same, he asks if she felt nice when Shristhi replies she was just saved.
Dadi after a while asks them all to come and take her blessings along with the gift, Kritika explains she is feeling weird so wants to go downstairs but Karina stops her explaining that she must not think bad and the reason she is feeling bad is because she no longer has a husband however she must know that some girls are still not happy with their husbands.
Kritika leaves explaining she doesn’t belong here. Karina thinks her own daughter is without a husband and those sisters who were not worthy to work in this house have now become the owners of this family.
Rakhi asks Mahesh to give her his mobile since she wants to talk with Preeta as they would have also broken their fast but she is not able to reach either of them, Sameer assures there is nothing to be worried about as he had already talked with Rishab who informed that there might not be signals there.
Arjun helps Preeta stand up asking if she is fine, she stares at him trying to get away but once again stumbles, Rishab rushes to her aid inquiring if she is fine.
Maa Sahab explains she needs to rest so they must take her to the room, Rishab goes to Arjun trying to thank him for saving the life of Preeta, Arjun replies he should have been the one to save her, Rishab replies Preeta je is ill so he doesnot want to argue and he takes very good care of her, Arjun goes to Shekar who also thanks him.
Preeta sits on the bed when Maa Sahab asks her to rest her feet, Rishab running to the room asks if she is fine and even thanks Maa Sahab but she replies he must take care of her as the doctor is about to arrive, Preeta tries to stop him however he says she actually needs it, Preeta assures she is fine and there is nothing however Rishab says he is not fine when Rishab explains there have been very few times when he was sacred but he today felt that pain, he informs how he thought Kavya is the onlky one of importance in his life.
Rishab is glad she gave him the responsibility of Kavya but today thinks he cannot live without her, he explains she is not just his wife and the member of Luthra family but she is his wife, he was only able to control himself after the death of Karan because of her and the desire to live whenever he sees her in the morning, Rishab asks her to promise that she would not leave her since she is an important part of the Luthra family.
Preeta starts crying explaining she doesnot know what to say because he has given her so much importance for which she is grateful, he pours her a glass of water appreciating that she came to their life as he doesn’t know what might have happened to their family. Preeta wipes off the tears recalling how Arjun caught her when she fell from the balcony, she is stunned.
Arjun rushes into his room, he is stunned thinking he broke the varth of Preeta so exclaims his heart should not beat for Preeta since she killed him, Preeta hated Karan Luthra and the love which she showed was all an act, so she did not even hesitate before killing him, she is not worthy of his love.
Arjun recalls when the women asked if he is her husband, he thinks he is still alive so would not let Rishab take his position as she is doing this varth for him.
Arjun answers the call of Anjali who asks if he is fine but Anjali notices something is wrong so questions him, he explains Preeta fell while performing the ritual, but he saved her. Anjali asks if this means he saved her, Arjun mentions he would be the one to cause any harm to Preeta and Rishab but would not allow any incident.
Arjun sees himself standing in front of him who asks if he is feeling bad that Preeta kept the varth for Rishab, Arjun explains Preeta would perform the rituals but not for Rishab but himself.
Maa Sahab instructs that Shekar would himself break her fast by helping her eat the food, Arjun comes asking Maa Sahab if everyone has gotten the food, Maa Sahab questions why is he asking when he replies that he should inform Rishab he should help Preeta eat with his own hands.
Arjun thinks he has to make Preeta eat but how ca he do it since she would recognize him, he hears the waiters talking so asks one of them to bring the dress for him, he even gives the waiter a lot of money.
Maa Sahab instructs the workers to make sure there are sweets in all of the platter, Arjun asks for the platter for Preeta, he turns with the platter but he’s called again which causes him a lot of tension.
Arjun mentions he needs the platter for Preeta Luthra, he turns away with it when she calls him from behind mentioning he forgot to take the juice glass, Arjun after breathing a sigh of relief leaves.
Rishab enters the room explaining he has brought the medicine which the doctor prescribed for him, Preeta replies she cannot eat it since she has kept the varth since morning, Rishab questions how can she do it so stands to leave explaining he will bring something special for her, he leaves informing the moon is looking really beautiful.
Preeta recalls how Karan also praised the moon when she replied that it has not seemed more beautiful before, Preeta suddenly hears a knock on the door so asks the worker to come inside, she asks if her husband send this food to which he explains her husband asked her to have this food and have the medicine. Preeta instructs him to call her husband since she cannot eat the food by herself, Arjun asks if she cannot have it herself inquiring if there is something wrong with her hands.
Preeta assures it is not like that, saying it was his duty to deliver the food but Arjun explains he has a relative whose husband lives in Mumbai so she usually breaks her fast after looking at the photo, Preeta gets irritated realizing which he apologizes. Rishab rushes into the room saying he has ordered the food; she replies to the food has already arrived.
Preeta is worried the rituals with the moon were not fulfilled, Rishab with a smile replies he just desires to have the respect which she gives him, he is about to feed her when there is a call which he rushes to answer. Arjun once again explains he has made this sweet with his own hand so she should try it, Preeta asks him to put it down, but he explains he wishes to serve all the guests who come into this house, insisting she taste it a little bit. Preeta after eating the sweet smiles mentioning it tastes good, Arjun also starts smiling before leaving the room.
Rishab turns to see Preeta having the sweets in her hands so asks her to eat it, he is sitting down explains it is very tasty.
Arjun comes out after changing his clothes with a smile on his face thinking he managed to make Preeta eat the sweets, he turns to see her standing in front of him. Arjun walks over to Preeta who tries to run away but he stops her, constantly following her as she tries to run away from him. Arjun hugs Preeta from behind before they both start to dance, Arjun really enjoys his time with Preeta but suddenly wakes up from his dream when Shekar enters the room, Arjun asks him to sit down questioning what is he doing here, Shekar replies he made a mistake because Maa Sahab advised him to not hold this meeting however they were not able to finalize it, Shekar reveals that he really liked his proposal but he doesnot how to tell this to Rishab jee, Shekar suggests they should tell Rishab in the next meeting.
Rishab while walking with Preeta asks if she is fine, Radhika questions where are they leaving with the bags she immediately apologizes if they made a mistake but Preeta replies that she must not think like it since they are very hospitable, Rishab assures it was not their mistake.
Arjun coming explains she is right and he is at fault because had he managed to save her then it might not have gotten any problem. Preeta questions why is he talking like this since Rishab jee might have tried his best to save her but it was an accident. Rishab questions if he got his answer or does he want them to say anything else.
Preeta once again praises Maa Sahab and Radhika mentioning they have shown them a lot of closeness, Arjun asks Shekar that they came here for a business deal and the event of KarvaChawth happened by coincidence so why should they show closeness based on this one event, Arjun explains he has understood Preeta and feels she does everything by her heart but Shekar jee must only think of it as a business meeting.
Rishab replies he would not have said it had he known Preeta but they must always talk after thinking about the time and place. Rishab leaves apologizing for anything wrong that he might have said.
Arjun also informs Shekar that he should not mind his problem with Rishab but they would talk about this deal in the future.
Anjali opening the door is really excited to see Arjun, she asks why is he so happy when Arjun enters before sitting on the couch.
Anjali questions if he is happy that he managed to get the deal but Arjun replies that it has almost been finalized, Anjali asks then why is he so happy, he reveals he broke the fast of Preeta with his own hands. Anjali is stunned asking if he remembers the reason he came here, Arjun assures he would ruin Rishab and take all his future deals. He informs they have a meeting tomorrow, but Anjali explains she has a lot of meeting lined up before so would go before him.
Shristhi is excited to hear the bell causing Ganesh to fall on the couch, she asks if he is fine when he says he is still alive. Shristhi is about to hug Preeta but is stunned to see Rishab who enters mentioning she should sometimes also remember him, Shristhi then hugs Preeta who enters the house.
Ganesh reveals she also asked for some tissues when Shristhi reveals she in excitement to greet her caused him to fall.
Rakhi is also glad to see Preeta and Rishab, they both take her blessings when Rakhi reveals she gifted everyone on KarvaChawth and also brought gifts for her, she decides to go and bring her gift. Rishab leaves to change his clothes. Shristhi notices something is wrong with Preeta so asks her if something happened there, Preeta informs her about the incident and how Arjun caught her, Shristhi is stunned but Preeta requests her to not tell Rakhi otherwise she might get worried.
Rkahi comes with her gifts which Preeta is delighted to see, Shristhi is suspicious about arjun thinking if he wants to ruin the life of Preeta.
In the morning, Prithvi asks Sherlyn if she would like to have the tea which he prepared, she doesn’t respond so he brings the tea to her, she asks him to throw it on her as he is not able to see her burning soul, she throws it when he reveals his hand is burning.
Sherlyn replies that he is not able to take his revenge from Arjun while that goon entered the house and started beating, she requests him to wake up the animal in this house since he is the reason of whatever is happening with her, saying what was the need to reveal his truth since they would have gotten the money from him.
Sherlyn angrily questions if Prithvi is going to take the revenge, Prithvi asks what sort of question is this since he assured her he would take the revenge it takes some time, she rushes into the kitchen when he says she threw the cup of tea, Sherlyn threatens to kill herself if he doesnot listen to her, Prithvi warns her to remain calm since they must kill their enemies but not harm themselves, Prithvi assures he is going to hit them at the point which hurts them the most.
Sherlyn questions what is he going to do when Prithvi explains Arjun really loves Kavya so he is going to kidnap her and then demand tens of millions from both the Soorvyanshi and Luthra’s, Sherlyn asks how is he going to dot it, Prithvi reveals he knows the address of Kavya so is going to kidnap her and surely take her revenge, Sherlyn exclaims she just wants him to punish the Luthra’s like they tried to do with her. Prithvi leaves saying he would surely take her revenge!
