Zara comes to her room and takes kashmiri tea, she says her Doctor/Priest (Kabeer) and Investor will like this. Zara tgen comes to the Kitchen and asks the Servant if she put nuts in the Sweets? She nods.
Ruksar says they can put them in the tea as well. Zara says she’s been living in such a big house, and doesn’t even know that nuts are put in juice not tea? Zara says she has brought Kashmir’s tea, so use it, as Kabeer gave it as a honeymoon gift. Ruksar glares at her and makes the tea. Zara says this tea reminds her of Kashmir’s memories. Ruksar tells her to come out of her memories! The Servant starts taking the tea, but Ruksar deliberately puts foot in her path, and the Servant falls down. Ruksar says can’t you see what you are doing! Zara says it’s okay, she has more tea, so she will take it there, she leaves with the tea pot. Ruksar says the plan is working.
The Investor says to Kabeer that without religion, he can’t fathom his life and Kabeer follows it which is why he’s ready to invest his money in his Project. Zara comes there and greets him. The Investor is angry that she is not covering her face. Kabeer says she’s his Wife, Zara. Zara pours tea for him and offers it to him, but he says he doesn’t take things from other women. Kabeer takes the tea from him and gives it to the Investor. The Investor asks Kabeer if he doesn’t ask his Wife to cover her face, and women shouldn’t roam around like this, and they can’t give them so much freedom like this. Zara is leaving, but hears it. She stops and comes to him. She says to the Investor that she’s sorry, but her whole body is covered, and that is not covering for him? He says her face is still showing, and she’s a Doctor/Priest’s Wife, so she shouldn’t have come out without covering up in front of some other man. Ruksar and Zeenat hears it. Zara says she’s sorry, but he’s looking at some other woman’s face too, as Quran has asked him to keep his eyes lowered too. Kabeer mutters Zara! Zara says if men don’t look at other women, then women won’t have to cover up themselves. The Investor gets angry.
Kabeer says one minute. He asks Zara to go inside. Zara says to the Investor that he can try to cage them, but he can’t take away the freedom that Allah and Prophet has given them. Kabeer shouts Zara, I am asking you to go inside! Zara angrily leaves from there.
Kabeer says sorry to the Investor. The Investor says he can’t support this kind of thinking, and he can’t insult his religion, he says Kabeer has read religion, he’s a Doctor himself, and he you should make his home first, before making it good for the nations, and he can do the Projects later, but he isn’t interested in his Project rightn now, he leaves. Kabeer is angry and tensed, he recalls Zara’s argument with him. Ruksar and Zeenat sees all this.
Kabeer angrily throws away his files and screams Zara!!! Zara comes there. Kabeer glares at her and says she wanted to insult her husband in front of all, right, so do it fully, and why does she need to wear this scarf? He takes off her scarf? She puts it back and says she didn’t like this thoughts, and she said her mind. Kabeer shouts that only her thoughts are right! The whole world and his thoughts are wrong except hers, right? He grabs her shoulder and says if himself, his family or this house get insulted because of her thoughts…! He pulls her closer, while glaring at her, and whispers in her ear that, that wouldn’t be bearable by him! He digs his fingers in her shoulder. Zara is stunned. Zeenat smirks.
Ruksar comes there and tries to pull Kabeer off Zara, but he doesn’t leave her shoulder. Ruksar asks him to leave Zara, and what if her Parents witnessed this? Zara and Kabeer are looking at each other in daze. Ruksar frees Zara from Kabeer’s grip, Kabeer leaves from there. Zara jerks Ruksar’s hand away and wipes her tears, she runs from there too. Ruksar smirks.
Zeenat says well done Ruksaar, I have to say that you are a big jerk, you finally put fire between them. Ruksar says she told her that a Man’s ego is bigger than his love, and she just provoked Kabeer’s ego, whereas, the fire has already started now, and all they need do, is to keep putting oil in it, and watch the drama on fold.
Zara comes to the room and recalls Kabeer shouting at her, taking off her scarf and threatening her, that if they got insulted because of her, then he won’t be able to control!/withhold himself! Zara wipes her tears and says Kabeer and the Investor’s thinking is wrong. She sees Kabeer punching the boxing bag.
Kabeer recalls the Investor leaving and punches the bag more, angrily. Zara comes there and tries to stop him, but she couldn’t. Kabeer throws the punching bag away and turns to leave. Zara tells him to listen to her. Kabeer sees the Project file, he angrily looks at it and throws it in front of Zara, and leaves. Zara holds the file and looks on. She recalls Kabeer telling her that he wants to make everyone educated and getting a job. Zara says Kabeer’s thinking might be wrong, but his intentions are not wrong, and this Project is like a new light for their Nation, and this Project shouldn’t stop because of her, as she has destroyed everything, so she will set it back, and his Project will be completed for sure.
Zara is leaving the house. Ruksar stops her and asks if she doesn’t like to stay in that house that she keeps leaving everytime? Zara says there are some Ants in her house, and she’s going out to get Pest Control, and very soon, all the insects are going to leave, she smirks at Ruksar and leaves.
Salma hears the door bell. She opens it to find Zara there. Zara greets her and hugs her. Salma says you here? Irfan hugs her. Zara says she came since she was missing her Parents. Irfan asks how is she? Zara says everything is fine, and she has some work, and would like to call a Sharia board meeting. Irfan says she’s a member of the board, so she has the right to call the meeting. Zara says she wants to call a meeting tomorrow. He says tomorrow is off, but he will call a meeting tomorrow, and what’s the agenda? Zara says she will tell him that tomorrow. Irfan says okay, he will arrange for it then, he leaves.
Salma asks her what the matter is? Zara says there is a matter, but she won’t tell her. She tells that she got her married, so she should let her fight her wars. Salma says she’s happy that she’s fighting for her life, and she prays that God will make her a Wife that her husband will be so proud of. Zara smiles and leaves.
Zara comes home, Ruksar asks if she found the Pest control? Zara says it’s difficult to find Pest control of some poisonous insects. Ruksar says forget about insects, pacify your husband first. Zara says you know nothing about marriages, husband and wife can fight, but all anger goes away in the bedroom… but you wont understand that. Ruksar angrily leaves. Zara thinks I have to do something about her.
Zara comes to Ayesha. Ayesha sees her tensed and makes her sit down. Ayesha says she knows why she’s worried, and whatever happened between her and Kabeer…, Zeenat had already told her about it, and she would suggest she avoids these small things. Zara says he is a little miffed with her, but she will pacify him. Ayesha says she expected that from her, as these small fights can become bigger. Zara says no, she won’t let this fight come to that, but she’s worried about Ruksar, as she always tries to come in between her and Kabeer. Ayesha asks for what she wants? Zara says she wants her to talk to her in-laws and get her married soon. Ayesha says okay, she will speak with them, and she should only worry about how to pacify her husband, but she can give her tips. Zara blushes and hugs her. She smiles and runs from there. Ayesha smiles.
Kabeer is busy working in his room. Zara brings milk for him, but he avoids her. Zara says her mother says that one’s memory becomes strong with almond milk, so drink it Kabeer. He keeps ignoring her. Zara sits in front of him and stares at him. Kabeer moves away from her, Zara takes his pen… o Dariya plays… Kabeer takes another pen, Zara takes it from him, she close off his files, and he tries to ignore her, but she keeps taking things from him. She smiles at him. Kabeer tries to get up, but she comes in front of him. She hints at him to smile, but he glares at her.
Zara tries to pull on his nose, but Kabeer moves away and says he thinks it wasn’t entirely her mistake, but his. Zara says they should just say it was both’s mistake and she wants to say something on each other’s behalf, that they shouldn’t fight over such small thing. Kabeer says small thing? Zara says sorry and offers him milk, he takes it and puts it away, he says it’s not a small thing, and he’s scared that the gap between their thinking could bring a gap in their relations as well. He takes the files and leaves from there. Zara is tensed. Zara says this gap was removed with much difficulty, and she won’t let it come back, she says she knows he’s miffed because his Investor has left, because of her, but she will bring another Investor, you just wait till tomorrow.
Kabeer is sleeping on the bed. He wakes up and offers Namaz. Zara brings breakfast and greets him, but he replies coldly and leaves. Zara sadly leaves.
Zara comes to the lounge and sees Kabeer having breakfast at the table with everyone. Ayesha says there is a happy news. Ayesha says to the family that Hamdan is coming to see Ruksar. Ruksaar says who is Hamdan? Zara says same Hamdan whose mother liked her for her Son’s marriage proposal.
Ayesha says let’s start preparing. Zara says don’t worry, its about Ruksar’s happiness, so she will get all the preparation done. Ruksaar fumes in anger. Zara offers Parathas to Kabeer, but he says he doesn’t need it, and he has to go to the board meeting. Zara holds his arm and says come back on time, I will arrange everything, but he jerks his hand away and leaves.
Kabeer meets the Sharia members. Khalid says he didnt bring his Wife today? Kabeer says she won’t come today. Irfan comes there and greets everyone. Kabeer says what is the agenda of the meeting? Irfan says his Wife has called this meeting, so she will be the one to tell them the agenda. Khalid says the Wife has arranged a meeting without telling her husband. They all laugh. Kabeer fumes in anger.
Zara comes there and greets everyone. Kabeer gives her a death glare. Irfan asks Zara to start the meeting. Zara thinks Kabeer, your dream will be fulfilled. Zara says this meeting is important, and she wants to present a project to all of them. Kabeer says he wants to talk to her, but a member says this is a board meeting, and she isn’t his Wife, but a board member too, so let her talk. Irfan says let’s listen to her. Zara says this project is about Children who follow their religion and spread Islam’s message, but they don’t flourish economically, and this project will make them stand on their feet. A Member asks if it’s her Project? she says it’s Kabeer’s Project, her husband and the Vice Chiarman. Khalid says he understands her intention, and how much money does she want? Her father is the Chiarman, and she’s a member of the board, so he will pass this Project for his Son-in-law. Zara is stunned. Kabeer fumes in anger. Kabeer says he’s sorry for wasting their time, and he didn’t want to present this Project here. Khalid says this is a Sharia board Zara, and she should have at least spoken as a husband and Wife agenda. Irfan says everyone here are board members, and they don’t have any right to be behaving like this. Kabeer says he agrees with Khalid, as this is Sharia board, and not some relative’s gathering, and he wants to take this Project back, thank you. Irfan ends the meeting. Kabeer leaves. Zara runs behind him.
Zara stops Kabeer, she says one Man kept blaming his Wife for cheating and he remained silent? Kabeer says she’s a member of the Sharia board, and she became a part of this board by cheating with herfather, and he (Kabeer) was always against her, from being a part of this board, and why did she present his Project to the board! Zara says she only wanted to help. Kabeer says when girls like her start going out of the house to help their husbands, then this happen,. He says he’s a fool, and she know the thoughts of these members, and that she doesn’t know anything about a Project. Zara says she just wanted to help him, and she has read everything about that Project, and if he had taken her side, then they would have succeeded, but Kabeer says he despise her thinking, and it made him and her father to be insulted in front of all! He holds her shoulders and says he’s telling her for the last time, that she doesn’t need her support for this work, he leaves. Zara cries and says she just wanted to help him succeed in his Project.
Kabeer drives away. Zara thinks Kabeer left her, without even thinking for a second? She cries and looks around. She hires a Cab and leaves.
