Waseem and Qaseem both run after Zara.
Zara sits on her bike and starts driving, they follow her and try to grab her.
In the board meeting, they are all waiting for Zara. Kabeer is tensed and looks at the time.
Zara stops her bike and sees that they are away, she sees the time and drives away.
Khalid says to Irfan that it seems like Zara doesn’t want to resign, let’s end this meeting now. Irfan says my daughter follows her words, let’s wait a little. Zara comes there stumbling, she says sorry for being late, she says I want to say something before resigning. Khalid says we don’t have the tradition of a farewell speech.
Zara says you people celebrate many traditions that are not part of the religion, I am still a member of the board and can say what I want to, I have a proof that can prove that Waseem and Qaseem forced Abidah into doing Nikah halala. Kabeer says that topic again? Today’s topic is different, we have already taken decision on that topic.
Zara says the Sharia board took the wrong decision, I have proofs and my nature doesn’t allow me to let injustice happen with any woman.
Irfan asks her to show her proofs. Zara says I kept saying that Abidah was forced into doing Nikah halala, Waseem gave Qaseem money to do Nikah halala, I have a Video to show you. She plays the Video on Tv, in which “Waseem is fighting with Qaseem and says I gave you 25,000 to do Nikah halala and now, you want to give a statement against me??” All are stunned to see it.
Zara brings Abidah and Adab to the board and says injustice happened with these women, she shows them the proofs and says it says that she was forced to do thid halala. All look at the papers. Zara says I am sure that you people know that Nikah that is done with intention of divorce in mind is not valid. Nikah halala was made for the benefit of women, so men like Waseem don’t divorce Wives, but it was abused by Men to do injustice with Women. Zara says Nikah halala is banned in many Countries, and are we going to keep allowing people to do what they want, those that have made religion a money earning field? It’s my request that the board goes against halala and impose a ban against Nikah halala.
Irfan asks Kabeer as the Deputy Chairman/Qazi if he has anything to say to this? Kabeer looks on. Irfan asks Kabeer to give his suggestion on this halala matter. Kabeer says some people abused this tradition, but if we follow some people’s mistake and ban our old traditions, then its bad, I am against the Nikah halala ban.
Irfan says seeing all the proofs, we reject Qaseem and Abidah’s Nikah and order to have legal case against Qaseem and Waseem. All look on. Zara takes out her resignation letter and looks at Kabeer. Zara says thank you all for listening to me, you gave justice to a woman, and I have fulfilled what was my duty. She presents her resignation to Irfan and says I request to approve it. Irfan sadly takes it. Kabeer looks on.
Zara and Kabeer comes out of the board, all the women are chanting in favour of Zara. The Media says to Zara that you finally won the case, and is your husband happy now? Will this affect your relationship with him? Zara sadly leaves from there. Kabeer looks down.
Shehbaz have a Media conference and says there are some rumors roaming around, that Zara gave resignation as she realized her mistake and her husband Kabeer is right and Abidah’s case was only an expense case. The Reporter says if Zara was wrong, then how was she able to prove that it was Nikah halala case.
Another Reporter says she brought justice to Abidah. Shehbaz says she couldnt? My Son proved himself right. The Reporter says Zara proved herself right, and Kabeer lost this case, and now, he will force his wife to resign??? Shehbaz says but Kabeer won the case. Shehbaz gets call and says why are you telling this now??
Zara comes there. All the women come behind her and are chanting in her favour, they ask her to take bacl her resignation. The Reporter asks Kabeer if he will accept his mistake? Your Wife made you lose, are you still against the halala ban? Kabeer says you people are wrong to ask questions in my house and Zara will not take her resignation back at any cost. Zara ask them to all go.
The Reporter says to Zara that you have guts, do you agree with your husband’s behaviour? Kabeer ask them all to leave! Zara tries to talk to Kabeer but he leaves. Zara is tensed.
Waseem comes to Meraj and says I searched for Nilofar everywhere but I couldn’t find her. Meraj grabs him and asks if he searched for her or not?? I have to find her at any cost, if Zara finds her first, then she can take her to the Police Station against me, and I don’t even know if she is alive or not! Waseem asks if Zara saw him anywhere? Meraj recalls how Nilofar hit him with her Car. He says I will go underground for sometime, as it’s dangerous to be out in the opened now, but you have to be here to be informing me of every small thing here, he nods.
Shehbaz meets Hashmi, they see TV. The Women are talking about Zara taking back her resignation. One man says that Kabeer should control his Wife, these Wives should be left alone. Hashmi says people are getting chances to taunt you. Shehbaz says this is all done by Irfan and Zara, Irfan doesn’t want his daughter to resign so he is distracting people from this issue, he will never accept Zara’s resignation, he is taking revenge on us, it’s time to sideline Irfan, if it was someone else on the Qazi’s position like Kabeer, then this wouldnt have happened. Hashmi says we have to stop this storm before anything happens.
Kabeer comes to her room. Zara says I gave my resignation for you. Kabeer says but you insulted me in front of everyone, because you are great! Zara says if you took my side, then this wouldn’t have happened. Kabeer says wow! You act like you don’t make mistakes? Zara says I didn’t know that this case would become so big. Kabeer says you don’t even know what people are thinking about me, do you? Zara says you want me to change my thoughts for people? Kabee says we are working for people, so you have to consider them. Zara says you want me to stay silent and not bring justice to Abidah?
Kabeer says I am not saying that, you won’t be able to listen, but you won’t realize that you are Zara, you don’t consider your relationships, your family, their respect… at least think about me. Zara says you are wrong. Kabeer says would you have taken this case if you knew the outcome? Zara says I can resign from the board but I can’t back away from my morals. Kabeer says it has become your ego issue, I am tired of hearing all this, your morals.. tell me it’s me or your morals? Zara shouts that my morals are my life, if I leave them, then I won’t have any identity! Kabeer is hurt.
Zara says listen to me. Kabeer says enough! I got my answer. He sadly sits on the bed. Zara sits in his feet and says you have given me one divorce, why don’t you take decision and end this matter. Kabeer says I am a little crazy, I can’t l do anything before it’s time, I can do it on the right time. He caresses her head.
All sit for dinner. Ayesha asks where is Nilofar? Zeenat says I called her, but she isn’t picking up. Ayesha is taking dinner for Kabeer and Zara. Shehbaz asks to call Kabeer. Kabeer and Zara comes there.
Kabeer says you know I don’t sit on the dining table for food. Shehbaz says I know but I want to have food with you today, it’s not like we can’t have food together at all. Kabeer says you are right, he sits down. Ayesha asks Zara to sit and have food with them. Zara says I am not hungry. Ayesha says you can taste a little. Zara is about to sit down, but Shehbaz says send Zara’s food to her room, all look on. Ayesha says why? She can at least have food… Shehbaz glares at her. Zara sadly smiles and leaves from there. Kabeer looks on.
Shehbaz meets Khalid and says you didn’t tell me Zara opened the case? Khalid says nobody knew, I think Irfan knew about that, because he didn’t stop the meeting even after 4PM, as he wanted to clear her image. Shehbaz says how many people doubt Irfan’s intention? Bring them together and force Irfan to accept Zara’s resignation. Khalid says why don’t you make Kabeer divorce her, so all this will end. Shehbaz says no, this way, Zara will become poor in everyone’s eye, I want her destruction from her own hands. Khalid nods.
Zara is sleeping on the bed. Kabeer caresses her face and says you have high fever, he brings wet pads and puts them on her forehead. Zara wakes up and looks at him. Kabeer says you have fever, so I’m using wet pads, Ayesha used to do it for me, eat something otherwise, you will be more weak, I will give you medicine after eating. He offers her soup. Zara smiles. He doesn’t make her eat it, she takes the plate from him sadly. Zara thanks him. Kabeer says I was fulfilling my duty as a husband, everyone has some duties and they should fulfill them. Zara sadly ask what their relation is? Kabeer looks away and says husband and wife.
Zara finds a chart where Kabeer had monitored her temperature throughout the night, she feels good, she pretends to be very unwell, he finds out she is kidding, they have fun moment together.
The following day, Kabeer explains the importance of Bakri Eid to Aman. Zeenat taunts Zara by asking her what she will sacrifice for Kabeer’s sake?
At Irfan’s residence, Irfan doesn’t want Zara to resign from the Shariah Board since it won’t be good for the women of the community that have the believe that Zara will fight for their rights. Salma says if Zara resigns, then she would be able to focus on her marriage, her bond with Kabeer will grow stronger and hopefully, they will have their own chuldren someday. Irfan says with your thoughts on Zara’s life, she will lose her identity.
Nilofer is brought to a hospital, some Cops comes and asks about her? The ward boy says people found her in a critical condition on the road and brought her here. The Police says I will find out the details about her.
