Prabha has heard everything. She goes inside. She says I have no problem with your relationship. Love sees nothing. You both have been together since childhood. This is why I brought Gangaa here. She sits there teary eyed. He takes her with him to buy gujiya and jalebis (sweets). This is our first Holi with our money. He says you can eat sweets now. You deserve all the happiness of the world. I promise to give it all to you. He feeds her jalebi. She is touched. He wipes her tears. She
too makes him eat jalebi. They see Holika nearby and wish each other that.
Maharaj ji wipes his tears while cooking. Mehri says such Holi has never be celebrated in this house before. It is happening because of Gangaa. She will never stay happy by hurting so many people. Maharaj ji tells her not to curse that girl. What harm has she done to you? Mehri asks him if he has lost his head! Why are you still taking her side? He reasons that Gangaa is like them. She deserves to be happy. It isn’t wrong to love someone. What wrong did she do? Mehri replies that one should dream in their limits. Maharaj ji gives up. You are a woman, yet you cannot understand a woman’s emotions.
A lady comes there to invite Madhvi and Supriya for Holi ceremony. Madhvi accepts the occasion. She asks Maharaj ji to inform Supriya. We have to do prayer even if the house is all dark. He nods.
Madhvi and Supriya do the prayers with the other ladies. The ladies talk of the excitement that must be in their house as it is Supriya’s first holi. Where are your sons? They have heard of Sagar’s engagement too. Madhvi is uncomfortable. She says nothing has been fixed as of now. The ladies speak of Sagar spending too much time with Gangaa. It isn’t right for youngsters to stay together. Madhvi says they are best friends. The ladies worry about the same thing. They are young. Anything can go wrong anytime. Madhvi excuses herself on the pretext of giving medicines to Amma ji. She is highly disturbed by what the ladies said. We have never interfered in anyone’s life till date, yet they keep poking their noses in our house! Supriya asks her to come.
Niru thinks of everything that happened in the house. He is hurt by their words. Sagar can be rude or could even shout at me, but I will not accept this illogical wish of his!
Pulkit asks Madhvi for money. I mortgaged Supriya’s jewellery for my business. I am in problem. See if it’s possible. Niru gets angry. You didn’t ask us and mortgaged the jewellery of the daughter-in-law of this house? What’s happening in this house! Has the both of you become shameless? Madhvi tells him not to get angry. Pulkit is only sharing his problem with us. Niru scolds and taunts Pulkit for his madness! I told you not to do all this useless business, but you did not pay heed. Pulkit retorts that it isn’t madness. You are the reason of it. You want everyone to move around as per your wish. The one who listens to you is good otherwise he is a complete loser. You’ve never motivated me! You kept taunting and demoralising me. You did the same with Sagar! Madhvi tells him to stop, but Pulkit continues. This is what Sagar said. You are an hypocrite! A big one! I don’t want anyone’s alms. I will handle everything myself. He walks out angrily. Niru and Madhvi are shocked. Niru wonders if his sons respect their elders or father at all or not. Madhvi cannot believe both her sons has changed so much.
Prabha is looking for Yash. He pats at her shoulder and takes her to a corner. He is irked that he will have to sleep on the road because of Sagar and Gangaa. When will they leave? She tells him to manage till tomorrow. That Chaturvedi Family will have to bear many troubles because of whom my son has to bear so much. Ratan comes there. I will not spare my sister’s sons now, even if I die in the process. He receives Pulkit’s call.
Pulkit shares that he had an argument with his father. I left that home. I am at Neeraj’s home. Ratan agrees to come there. You can tell me everything then. Ratan asks Prabha to take care of Sagar and Gangaa now. Pulkit’s work is done.
Maharaj ji tells Madhvi that Supriya has made sweets for Holi. Tell us if there is something else to be done. Madhvi is sad. Pulkit left the house. Sagar is also not here. Niru does not mind it. It is Supriya’s first Holi. Why should she suffer because of our sons’ mistakes? He tells Maharaj ji to bring colours for Holi. We will celebrate it. Maharaj ji nods.
Gangaa thinks of Holi at the Chaturvedi House. Madam (Madhvi) used to make gujiya for you with love. Amma ji used to pester Madhvi to make everything that you like, before you left for Holi. Sir used to bring colours home. You used to put colours on Madhvi’s face before anyone else all these years. Sagar says everything has changed now. I used to think my family loved me. Today I realise that that loves comes with selfishness. They blackmail us emotionally. Gangaa denies it. It isn’t so. There is no condition for your love in your parents’ eyes. It’s only me they can’t accept.
Madhvi questions Niru. The family is breaking and you care about holi? Niru says nothing will break. Pulkit is used to doing all this. Sagar has lost his head. He will be back on track once he comes face to face with reality. I cannot ruin his life by bending down before his stubbornness. He might come back tomorrow. Nothing has changed, everything is fine. Make preps for Holi.
Prabha tells Sagar to give his parents time. It is a difficult decision for them. No parents can be upset with their kids for long. I am sure they will give up and accept Gangaa. Sagar knows his father well. Once he decides upon something, he will stick to it. He will never accept Gangaa. Gangaa says Sir and Madhvi must have seen so many dreams for their son. They would have felt so bad. Sagar tells Gangaa not to say anything. I will make sure you get what is your right.
Pulkit is with Ratan and angry with Niru. He never liked me so I understand it, but he acted bad with Sagar too. He was and will always remain a Hitler. He wants everyone to move as per his wish. Ratan tells him to think from Niru’s perspective. You will have to prove yourself in your area of specialisation. Not just Niru, but everyone will recognize your talents. Pulkit says you know everything. But where should I get the money? I mortgaged Supriya’s jewellery too, but the result is zero! Instead of giving something to Supriya, I mortgaged her jewellery. Ratan gives him an idea. You too have a right in that house. You are Niru’s son. This isn’t alms, but your right! I know everyone will be hurt to hear it, but time will heal it. They will realise and understand that you were right when they see you
doing well in your business. Pulkit agrees with him. There is no harm in asking for your right.
Ratan is at home. Niru and Madhvi would be so clueless as to who to support. Yash called to tell what happened. Prabha shushes him. Gangaa and Sagar are inside. Prabha calls Madhvi. How are you? Madhvi says you cannot understand the feelings of a mother whose both sons left the house. I have no idea where Sagar is. Prabha tells her not to worry as they’re with her. I took Sagar and Gangaa to my place. Madhvi is surprised. Prabha says people will talk if they see both the youngsters together on the road. Madhvi wants to meet them, but Prabha tells her against it. They are very angry. Let them calm down. They don’t want to even talk to you. I will make them understand. Your son will be before your eyes on this Holi. She ends the call. Prabha is sure there will be a blast in Chaturvedi’s house on this Holi. Ratan wants the world to know that those who snatch other people’s happiness can never be happy.
Next morning, it is Holi. Supriya’s Parents have come to the Chaturvedi’s house. They wish each other by putting colour on themselves. Madhvi stops Supriya’s mother from putting colour on her. She tells them to have sweets first. Raghav ji reminds Niru about an important call. Niru excuses himself. Supriya’s mother asks for Sagar and Pulkit. Niru stops hearing their words. Supriya lies that they must have gone out with friends. They should be back anytime soon. She goes to the kitchen. She notices Niru looking at her. He apologizes to her. You must have lots of hopes regarding your first Holi. She tells him not to think like that. This house is mine, so its happiness and pain will also be mine as well. He blesses her. She leaves for the kitchen. Madhvi wonders till when they will hide this truth?
Prabha asks Sagar to go today as it is Holi. He refuses. Prabha tells Gangaa to make Sagar understand. There will be so many people around. They will question everyone. What will they say? Gangaa tells Sagar to listen to Prabha. She is saying the right thing. He refuses to go anywhere without her. Prabha walks up to him. I know you are upset with your Parents and you do have lots of complaints. Confront them directly. You have held Gangaa’s hand. Don’t make elders unhappy as you won’t ever be able to stay happy or keep Gangaa happy. Your mother called. She was in tears and wants you to come. I think you should go. Sagar notices Gangaa’s forehead blank. Did anyone say something to you? He puts vermilion in her forehead. Keep it always. This has Sagar’s promise in it. I will never leave you. Mummy called me. She didn’t call Gangaa. I won’t go then. Sagar will not be where Gangaa isn’t!
Niru stops Madhvi. You didn’t let Supriya’s mother put colour on you. Let me do it. She refuses. Sagar puts it first when he’s in Banaras. He says what if he doesn’t come? I told you not to worry about him. He will realise his mistake in a few days. I will put it. Sagar calls it cheating. I put colour on mom first. Madhvi hugs Sagar. I knew you would come. I knew you will listen to your father and won’t leave your mother. Niru looks relieved. Their smile fades away when they see Gangaa entering too.
