Gangaa thanks Niru for coming there on time. No one would have believed me otherwise. I am very lucky to have you. You trust me just the way Bappa trusted me. He says both your Bappa and I know how honest you are. I still recall the first day I saw / met you. I could see honesty in you. I still haven’t forgotten it. I still recognize it. She thanks him. I will never fall weak till you trust me. He nods. Don’t make this mistake ever again. What if something had happened to you?
Janvi overhears their convo.
Jhanvi thinks Sagar is worried about Gangaa and now uncle is taking Gangaa’s side. What should I do now? Madhvi pats at her shoulder. What are you doing here? Janvi says I wanted to drink ice tea. Madhvi sends her to her room. Madhvi looks at Niru and Gangaa. Gangaa offers to bring tea for Niru. He smiles happily. She turns to go. Sir still trusts me, but I did not see that trust in Sagar’s eyes today. she collides with the ink kept on the table. The bottle breaks as it touches the ground. She goes to bring a cloth to wipe it clean. Her feet are all red because of the ink.
Sagar holds her as she was about to trip. They share an eye lock. She backs off. Why do you come to save me every time? He replies that he cares for her. Did you get hurt? What’s this red colour all about? She tells him that she got the ink in her feet by mistake. He says it looks good on you. It looks quite similar like Alta (the red colour worn by brides in their feet). She points out that he only brought colours in her life at first and then took that right away from her! You just don’t want to give this right to me. He holds her hand as she turns to go. Will you only taunt me? She pulls her hand free. What about what you did to me? You looked at me with doubt. He explains that he knew he shouted at her as he got upset. I got worried seeing Jhanvi’s condition. I was looking for you so I can apologize to you. Just give me a chance. I know you are angry with me. She reminds him that one gets upset with only their own people. You forgot that we broke our ties with one another. We had agreed not to talk. Why will I feel bad about what you say when our relations has changed? She leaves from there. Sagar looks at the red marks formed by her feet.
Gangaa thinks of all what happened today at home. Maharaj ji is coming back from Jhanvi’s room muttering to himself. He tells Gangaa that everyone has their own tantrums. Jhanvi does not like sugar in her milk. Gangaa recalls seeing Janvi in the kitchen in the afternoon. Janvi was holding the salt container and asked for sugar from Gangaa. Gangaa asks Maharaj ji what happens when one takes water mixed with salt. He says people will vomit. Don’t even think to do so by mistake.
Janvi is sitting in her room. The lights are switched off. Gangaa sits on the sofa. Jhanvi shouts and immediately switches on the lights. She is shocked to see Gangaa. Gangaa calls her weak hearted. You always do something or the other. You take the wrong medicine or drink water mixed with salt. She shows the right medicine to
Jhanvi. I brought this one for you. You hid it very nicely in the shelf. I cannot understand how low you will stoop down for this enmity? You risked your own life! I really did get worried for you. I rushed to the chemist to bring medicine for you and even called the doctor. You played such a dirty trick against me. I doubt if you actually did law. I think you studied only how to do cheap tricks against others. Jhanvi agrees lying to everyone. I did all this drama so this family throws you out of this house. Gangaa says I thought you were smart, but you are mad! Till date, you could not realise how deeply rooted I am in this house. You saw with your own eyes today how much Sir trusts me. This relation is not easy to break. Give up! My roots are very strong here in this house. Stop your cheap tactics. Nothing will come out of it. Sleep now, you must be tired after all the vomiting. She leaves from there. Jhanvi angrily throws some stuff around.
Jhanvi walks in the corridor. How can I sleep peacefully when Gangaa is still in the house? She overhears Madhvi and Niru’s convo. Niru is leaving for Delhi for a few days. Madhvi tells him to come back before Sagar leaves. He agrees. Don’t hide anything from me that happens in the house. Janvi is thrilled.
Amma ji refuses to take the medicine from Gangaa. What if you try to hurt me as I scold you all the time? Gangaa reasons that she has been doing it for years. Amma ji is surprised. Jhanvi thinks her move is going in the right direction. Now the drama will be double than before. Even Gangaa’s Sir won’t come to save her this time. Be ready Gangaa! You won’t be able to stay back here for long.
Jhanvi gets a call from her friend- Neeti. Neeti hopes the lovebirds comes soon. Jhanvi had completely forgotten that tomorrow is Valentine’s Day. She lies to Neeti. Sagar did plan a surprise for me. She ends the call.
Gangaa has to go out of the house anyways. I will give her such a gift before leaving that she will remember for life! How will she feel when she sees Sagar celebrating V-Day with me! She will have to accept it tomorrow that Sagar is only mine!
Gangaa thinks she thought Sagar was hers only which is why she kept all these gifts for him since all these years. She sadly looks at the cards and gifts. Every day is special for lovers. One day cannot be called a special day for love. Every day was V-Day for me, but I feel sad when the entire world celebrates it! How I wish you were with me on this day! I waited for this every year. I celebrated it alone every year thinking you will come and… She thinks of Sagar’s hurtful words about thinking of her as only his best friend. She keeps them back in the trunk. She asks Gangaa if she will stay alone for life?
Gangaa stands outside in the balcony at night. Sagar kisses her shoulder and holds her hand. He hugs her from behind. People who doesn’t understand themselves gives up hope. Sagar is only yours and you are only Sagar’s. She closes her eyes as he caresses her hands. She pushes him slightly. Gangaa reminds Sagar he does not love her. He puts a finger on her lips. One only needs to read the eyes and listen to the heart beats when in love. Listen to my heart beats. He makes her rest her head on his chest. They stand that ways holding each other for a while. They break the hug. Look at the moon from my eyes now. He turns Gangaa towards the moon and hugs her once again. Ask your moon how much I thought of you every year on V-Day? She tries to say something, but he shushes her. you will not say or hear anything. You will only feel it. She says this is the reason behind this big cheating. She turns to look at him. He asks her for what cheating she’s talking about? Look into my eyes. Can you not see yourself in my eyes; can you not see how much I love you? Don’t you know that just the way it is the destiny of Gangaa to mix up in Sagar; Sagar is also incomplete without Gangaa? She is in tears. He holds one drop on his finger. They are not tears but valuable pearls. Why do you hold it back in your eyes? Let them glow. Give me all your pains. Take all the good things and happiness from me. He kisses her on her forehead. I love you Gangaa. He leans closer for a kiss. Amma ji calls out for Gangaa just then. Gangaa realises she had been day dreaming.
It is Valentine’s Day. Jhanvi has decorated Sagar’s room with heart shaped balloons. She intentionally brings him to where Gangaa is. She asks him to pose for a pic with him so they can capture the sweet memories forever. Sagar is uncomfortable as she leans onto him. Sagar and Gangaa look at each other. Gangaa stands there with her fists clenched. She is unhappy to hear Jhanvi saying I Love you to Sagar. She asks him to say it too. Gangaa drops the bucket of clothes. They both look at her. She leaves from there. Sagar excuses himself from there on the pretext of making a call. Jhanvi says I did so much for Sagar. He behaves weirdly whenever Gangaa is around. Such instances makes me firm on my decision. Gangaa should be out of this house!
A few guys surround a girl. He shoos them away and then, he
offers her a rose himself. She slaps him in turn. Yash wakes up with a start. Since Gangaa slapped me, every girl is slapping me in dreams. Prabha brings tea for him. She asks him on his plans for the day? He gets Janvi’s call. He agrees to come over right away. Prabha asks him about the call? He says it was an ATM Machine. I only get money from that machine.
The radio is on in Gangaa’s room. The Radio presenter speaks on the special day. Amma ji asks Gangaa to light a oil lamp in the temple before leaving for college. Gangaa sits down before the lord’s idol. She thinks of the incident in childhood when Sagar had told her that widows can think of Kanha ji as their husband. Gangaa says I have always loved you Kanha ji. I will always continue to do so. Happy Valentine’s Day! Mann Mohana plays in the background. Gangaa is drawn back to the childhood memories. Tears roll down her cheek.
Sagar finds something in his cupboard. They are bangles. He too thinks of the same childhood incident. Everything changed so drastically. There was a time when we were always together. Now, you don’t even want to see my face.
Gangaa wipes her tears. You promised your Bappa, yourself and Sir. You don’t have to give up in life even if there is no Sagar in it. Sir used to say that Gangaa never stops. I cannot stop. I will have to find another way for myself.
Niru comes to Sagar’s room. I thought to meet you before leaving for Delhi. I will be back on the 24th. You are going on the 26th, right? Sagar nods. He notices his father lost. Niru asks him to stay back for a little long. Sagar has to join the job in London. I will not get such an opportunity here. What will I do even if I stay back? What are you thinking? Niru says nothing. Sagar hugs him and wishes him good luck for conference. He leaves to freshen up. Niru looks sad.
Pulkit is thrilled to get a big contract on his own finally! I will show it to papa first. He will be very happy. He might realise I am not wasting either my time or money. I will just show him this.
Niru is teary eyed as he comes to his room. Madhvi says this is called love. I heard your talks. I cannot understand why you want to stop Sagar? He got such a big chance. He too is happy for Sagar. I want him to stay here before my eyes though. Parents grow old as kids grow up. I want Sagar to be my support system. He will take forward my work and responsibilities after me. Pulkit’s work is for namesake. He will not be able to do anything. He too will need Sagar now. He manages his expenses, but his family will grow. That problem will be gone if Sagar is here. It is good till we are alive. But what will happen when we are no more? Madhvi is shocked to see Pulkit standing there, overhearing every word said by Niru! Niru continues talking. This is why I want Sagar to stay here so he can handle all the responsibilities of the house. I cannot force him though. Madhvi says Pulkit! Niru turns and he’s taken aback to see Pulkit standing there. Pulkit throws away the contract after crumpling it in anger. Niru notices the crumpled paper.
Maharaj ji tells Supriya about the likes and dislikes of both the brothers. Amma ji sits on the sofa. Supriya brings milk for her. Amma ji tells her she does not take anything untill she does her prayers. She asks Maharaj ji to explain it to Supriya. She makes him make the arrangements for the prayer. Supriya requests Amma ji to drink milk at least. It isn’t eatable, but milk only. Your prayer goes on for long. It isn’t good to stay empty stomach for so long. It isn’t good for your health. Amma ji agrees to think about it. Pulkit comes downstairs. Supriya asks him to have breakfast. He says I am not hungry. He was about to collide with Prabha. She asks him why is he in such a rush? Pulkit leaves without saying anything. Prabha greets Amma ji. She tells Amma ji Pulkit’s behaviour is not right. He just got married and left on Valentine’s Day. She adds fuel to the fire. Is Pulkit having an affair again? He had an affair with Saloni earlier. Supriya is tensed. Amma ji reprimands Prabha for wasting time on such things.
Gangaa is trying to fix the chain of her bicycle, but in vain. She’s getting late for college. Pulkit offers to drop her off. She says you will get late. He replies that he isn’t going to court or some office. I am going to my shop. Gangaa keeps her hand tightly around his waist when he applies brake suddenly. He asks her if she is fine? Gangaa nods. She insists on him wearing helmet first. He does so. Janvi and Yash see them from upstairs.
Yash remarks who will believe they are brother and sister. It seems as if a girlfriend is scolding a boyfriend. Weird people stay in the house! Janvi agrees. They look like two lovers. We have been waiting for a great trick to throw Gangaa out of the house. You showed me a way. We will make everyone believe that something is going on between Gangaa and Pulkit! He reasons that they are both brothers and sisters. She knows it too. We have to do something to make them believe that they both meet outside stealthily. He likes the idea. Gangaa will be deeply hurt when her character is being questioned. I have to take an answer of that slap too! She gives him a handy cam to record something spicy today. He wants to keep it. She allows him till when the task is done.
Supriya is tensed as Prabha’s
word rings in her ears. Sagar brings pakoras and jalebis (Sweet) for her. He says Gangaa and I are used to eating them a lot in childhood. She absentmindedly picks one. He understands there is something bothering her. Think of me as a friend and tell me. She shares the morning incident when Pulkit left abruptly and Prabha spoke of Saloni Supriya. Sagar says now you should know of your rival. Aunt Prabha was not wrong. There is someone in Pulkit’s life, even before you came in his life. She is in tears. He suggests she meet that girl. I will take you with me.
