Jalal is lying on the bed, he gets up and he’s about to attack the man, but the man quickly says we are your men. Bharmal comes and says I sent some soldiers behind you, Jalal says thanks, Jalal ask about Jodha? He says she is better, Jalal says I will meet her, Bharmal says she is gone for ganghaur prayer, Jalal says I will go there without wasting time, he gets up and goes out.
At the lake, all are gathered for the rituals, Menawati says last year, unexpected storm came, I hope this doesn’t happen this time, she ask Jodha to make oil lamp float in the water, she hopes that wishes gets fulfilled by this, Jodha thinks that Mother is great, she said last year that whose face I will see in the lake will be my life and now, she knows that I have wishes as well, she has great heart and knows me well, thanks Mother.
Jalal is coming there, he is unable to walk because of the injuries but says I have to see Jodha. Jodha puts oil lamps in the lake and opens her eyes, she sees Jalal’s face in the lake and gets stunned, she says it’s my imagination, why can’t I forget him? She closes her eyes. Jalal is in pain so Bharmal takes him away, Menawati sees it. Jodha opens her eyes and is convinced that she was imagining.
Bharmal says to Jalal that I will not listen to you now, you need rest, your life is precious, it’s your father-in-law’s order that you take rest. Menawati comes there, Bharmal says he came to talk to Jalal, but he is not in the state to talk, and Jodha won’t be happy to see him like this as well. Jalal is taken inside. Menawati says to Bharmal that you know Jodha is angry with Jalal, he says I want that when they meet, they will listen to each other, but Jalal needs me now, he leaves.
Menawati comes to Jodha, Jodha tells her that you said I will see the face of my partner in the lake, last year, and this year too, I saw only Jalal’s face, today, I saw him and it felt like it wasn’t my imagination, but he was here. Menawati thinks that the truth is that Jalal came to meet you.
Menawati asks why you are talking about Jalal, remember how he insulted you and when you decided to get separated from him, so why are you still thinking about him? Jodha thinks that I am trying hard to not remember him, but I see him everywhere. Menawati thinks that whatever you say Jodha, your heart is with Jalal, now you are not only a Queen Jodha, but Jalal’s Wife.
Jodha is thinking that why do I keep remembering Jalal, why can’t I take him out of my mind? I see him everywhere, she comes to the room and sees Jalal lying on the bed, she thinks that she is imagining again, Kaki comes there, Jalal calls out to Jodha, she says to Kaki that I am imagining Jalal everywhere and now hearing him too, Kaki says nothing like that and leaves, she turns and comes into the room and is relieved that Jalal is gone.
Jalal calls Jodha from behind, she says oh God, I am hearing him again, Jalal smiles and puts hand on his shoulder, Jodha is stunned and says Jalal you here, he says wherever you go, I will come there till I talk to you, Jodha says I told you clearly that I will not go to Agra and what are you doing in my room? Jalal says Bharmal asked to rest here, I just want to talk once that…
Bharmal comes there, he says sorry for disturbing you, but the Doctor asked you to take rest, Jalal says I was doing it, but somebody disturbed me, Bharmal says I want to talk to Jodha, he takes Jodha out, Jodha ask how come he’s here? and how he is injured?
Bharmal tels her that Abul Mali attacked him. He says I sent some soldiers behind him who took him here, he needs rest, so I placed hm in your room, Jodha says you know I don’t want to live with him, he says in every situation you can’t show your anger, I know you are angry with your husband, but he is an Emperor too, he is out from many days in search of you and wanted to talk to you, but you… okay, you don’t want to care about him then… He goes from there.
Menawati is ordering Servants what should be given to Jalal, jodha is standing there, Menawati ask what are you doing here, go into your room and take rest, Jodha says I didn’t want to disturb him, he is taking rest, so I came here, Menawati says good, she says Bharmal was saying that Jalal is a guest and needs someone to take care of him, he said Jodha will take care of him, but I said why will she? She is not interested, I am thinking of moving your thngs to another room.
Jodha says no, father is right, he is our guest and injured too, Jodha tells the Servants to send badam milk to Jalal, she says I will make remedy for him, Menawati smiles, Jodha goes from there, Menawati says from outside you may seem angry, but I know you love him from inside, you are angry because you want him to pacify you, now everything will be alright.
Maham is in darkness, she sits and sees some baby, she takes the baby in her hand and says to get up and eat something, you have to eat one day, you have to answer my qusetions, I have waited a lot, I can wait some more time, but I will get what I want, do you understand? She smirks at the baby (the face is not shown).
In Amer, Jalal is shirtless with bandages, he drinks milks and thinks that I know you care about me a lot but you are stubborn, but I am your husband and also stubborn as well, I will pacify you.
Jodha is making the remedy, she ask a Servant to put it on Jalal’s woynded hands, Jalal says I don’t need it Jodha says the Doctor said you need it, she ask all to leave, she takes the remedy and says this is important, Jalal says okay apply it, Jodha calls the Servant, Jalal thinks I thought you will be the one to apply it. He says no need, I can apply it myself, he tries to apply it with much difficulty, Jodha says wait. She sits beside him.
Jalal says if you are still angry, Jodha says you need rest, she applies the medicine, Jalal says till when will you forgive me, I can’t rest, Jodha says look at the otherside, Jodha says some wounds are deep, Jalal says if the remedy is applied, it is treated, Jalal says I have left my stubborness for you, I came here and can’t sleep with seeing you, Jodha says the remedy has been applied and she’s about to leave, Jalal calls out to her and winces in pain.
Jodha gets worried and ask him to be careful and holds him, they share an eyelock, she makes him lie on the bed, she sits on the other side of the bed and start taking out his jewelry, Jalal looks at her with smiles and thinks that your wall of stubborness is big, but my earth of love is more big, thanks for taking care of me. Jodha puts net curtain between them.
Ruqaiya says wow, the weather is awesome! I will go out with jalal, she then remembers Jalal is not here, she thinks that when will you return, don’t you miss me, I have no one to talk to, she comes to Salima and says I am missing Jalal, Salima says Jalal will return with Jodha, he has hurt her heart, so it will take time to pacify her. Ruqaiya says I will leave. Salima says no, you can stay, Ruqaiya says no, you sleep and leaves.
In the night, it was snake, Jalal shouts, Jodha throws it away and sit on the other side, Jalal says snake roam here like this? Jodha says yes and also female snake, she says if I had not removed it, it would have bitten you. Jalal says seems you have some animosity with poison, once saved from Benazir and now, with this snake, why? Jodha says you are our guest, which is why I did that, she lies with her back to Jalal, Jalal says innocent snake at least he was happy with me, Jodha looks back at Jalal, Jalal smiles.
Salima and Hamida are at the Islamic Shrine, they pray that Jalal and Jodha get back toghether, Hamida says Jodha believes in wish, so I wish she comes back, Salima says we got attached to Jodha, they give things to the poor, Hamida ask Salima to go back to the Palace, as Rahim is alone there, she leaves.
Hamida sees Maham Anga draping shawl and going into the darkness, Hamida says why is she going there, I have to find out.
It’s morning, Jalal gets up and says where is Jodha, he drapes shawl and comes out looking for Jodha, he sees Jodha practising sword fighting, he says I like this talent of yours, I have seen smile on your face after so many days, it makes you more beautiful and I took that smile from you.
The Servant says it’s time for your medicine, Jalal says I am going to take my medicine (Jodha). He comes down wearing his gown, Jodha looks at him, he greets Jodha, she greets him back, Jalal says you are amazing in sword fighting. Shehnaz ask the Servant will Jalal swordfight with Jodha, she says I don’t know.
Jalal says to Jodha that it’s a beautiful morning, Jodha says an injured man should take rest, Jalal says an injured lion is more dangerous, he shows his sword to her, Jodha says I will not be linient just because you are injured, they start fighting. Jalal says you are attacking me like I am your enemy, Jodha says battle is battle. A Servant says Jalal is just defending, but Jodha is attacking badly. Jalal doesn’t put his sword on Jodha but she keeps attacking him. The Servant ask her to be careful, she says then he shouldn’t have come here! Jalal says it’s a good chance for you, cut off my head, I will not say anything, Jodha says I am not a killer.
Menawati and Bharmal comes there. Menawati says sometimes, you behave weird with the one you love, she says Jalal is guilty and Jodha is angry, it’s between them, she will not hurt Jalal, let her anger come out.
Jalal says to Jodha that all are seeing us fighting like this, Jodha gets busy in looking around, Jalal throws her sword away and grabs her by the neck, he then leaves her and says I could have attacked you, Jodha says cheating, everytime you cheat in everything!! Jalal comes closer and says everything is fair in love and war, Jodha fumes and ask Shehnaz, let’s leave.
Shehnaz ask have you given your heart to him? Jalal shouts you didn’t thank me, I pardoned your life. Jodha leaves.
Menawati says to Bharmal that see, Jalal seems fine now. Bharmal ask about Jodha, she says Jodha is still angry but Jalal is trying, give them time, sometimes, relationships are strong with fight.
Maham Anga comes to the secret hut and ask a man to open the gate, Hamida is following her, Maham goes in, Hamida thinks what is Maham up to, I should go from here now before anybody sees me.
In Amer, all men sit for lunch, Bharmal ask about Jalal’s health, Jalal says the wind here is suiting me, I am feeling fine now, Jodha’s dadi/grandma says to a Servant to give Jalal food, Jodha is standing near Jalal, she makes angry faces, Jalal eats, Jodha says to a Servant to place water on one side and juice on the other hand of Jalal, he needs it when he eats spicy food, the Servant places it. Jalal drinks water, Jodha is satisfied, he looks at her and nods in thanks.
All men finishes lunch, Jalal says it was delicious, Bharmal says come to ganghuar celebration, you will eat more, dadi says there are many things, like wives will have veil on their face and you have to find your Wife, Jalal says I can recognize Jodha with closed eyes. Jalal leaves.
Jodha says to Menawati why dadi invited Jalal. I will not come there now, she says yes you are right, why should you come when you are angry with him, maybe dadi will feel bad so what, you are angry? Jodha says no, I think I should come, he is not bad by heart, the situation was bad which was why he did what he did. Menawati says I don’t understand you, I am on your side, if you are angry, then why come and you will not win, Jodha says he is not that inteligent, I will win, he won’t recognize me, dadi comes, Jodha says I will come, participate and will win too. She leaves, Menawati smiles.
Menawati says to Dadi that I don’t understand Jodha but I know she loves Jalal, Dadi says she doesn’t hate good people, Menawati says when she went earlier from here, it was sacrifice but now, I want to send her off happily, Jodha comes, Menawati shows her dress and ask will you wear it? Jodha is silent, Dadi says you are the pride of Amer, so wear it. Jodha thinks.
Some Aatimad Khan comes to meet Atgah, she is an Eunuch and an agent to send Eunuchs to the Palace for work, she shows Atgah the real Dilawar Khan and says someone snatched his clothes and attacked him and took everything from him, Atgah ask who was she? She says she was Maham Anga, we told her about the attack on Dilawar but she asked us to not tell about it to anyone, I couldn’t understand so I came to you, Atgah says we will talk when Jalal comes back.
In Amer, celebration starts, all the wives dances with veil on them, Dadi ask Jalal to go and find Jodha, he says it’s good environment here Dadisa, she says nice to hear Dadi/Grandma from you, Jalal says you can call me Jalal, she says no, it’s against our traditions.
Jalal goes to find Jodha, she dances. Jalal thinks that good, you are running from me, but I will find you, Jodha is running from Jalal, Jalal stands in the center and holds the hand of one lady, he says till when will you run from me, soon I will make you mine. He says Dadisa, I found my wife, he turns her to him and takes off the veil, she is Jodha. Jalal says maybe you are angry with me, but this bangle allowed me to find you, Jodha recalls how once Jalal made her wear it. Jalal is holding Jodha’s hand in front of all, Jodha jerks it away and leaves.
