Jalal and Jodha are walking, Jalal says I can see you want to say something, Jodha says I liked your idea, Jalal says i know, Jodha says all were happy on this idea of coins, Jalal says some people didn’t like it and it really doesn’t matter, Jodha says wish Ruqaiya was there too, Jalal says she must be embarrassed which is why she didn’t come, Jodha says let bygone be bygone, Jalal says she betrayed me, yet I forgave her because of you and I want to thank you that you stooped me from doing anything in anger, Jodha says we can’t do bad in return of bad and I am happy you didn’t punish her and understood why she did that, Jalal says leave it, come with me.
Maham says to Resham what? Resham says I overheard Jodha and Jalal discussing and they both know this fake pregnancy thing, and Jodha has asked Jalal to forgive Ruqaiya, I am feeling bad. Maham says I am feeling bad that Ruqaiya didn’t get punished even after doing that, that too on Jodha’s insistances!! Resham says you were punished but he forgave Ruqaiya, Maham says no, it’s better to get punished than taking Jodha’s sympathy! She says Jodha played well, she asked Jalal to forgive Ruqaiya and Ruqaiya tried to bring Jodha down, but instead made her more big!
Maham comes to Ruqaiya, Maham says I felt bad that you got miscarriage, I mean your plan was short termed, the child which was never there, how he can die? Ruqaiya says Jalal got to know the truth and he forgave me too, and that proves that I am his special Wife, Maham says it was your luck! Ruqaiya says not my luck, but my relationship with him. Maham says you don’t know the truth, his new special Wife Jodha asked him to forgive you, so he forgave you.
Ruqaiya says she doesn’t know about it so what are you saying? Maham says maybe Jodha knew about it before Jalal, think when Jalal got to know about Bakshi’s cheating, he gave her punishment, he used to call me Mother but gave me punishment, then why he forgave you? Obviously because Jodha asked hom to that, and not because she cares about you, but she maintained her position in Jalal’s eyes, yet Jalal is with you, and he didn’t break all relations with you like me and I promise again that your secret will be secret with me, she leaves. Ruqa recalls how after the miscarriage news, Jalal asked the Servant to take the cot to Jodha’s room again.
Ruqaiya comes to Jodha’s room, Jodha is making garland, Ruqaiya puts foot on it, Jodha says no worries, I will another for Krishna. Ruqaiya says one side, you are acting innocent and on the otherside, putting me down!! Jodha ask what are you saying? Jodha says what I did was not to put to you down, I could understand why you did that and I made jalal understand it, I asked Jalal to think about his relationdhip with you and I am happy that he still thinks of you as his best friend. Ruqaiya says I don’t take anyone’s
sympathy, when the time comes, I will give back your sympathy with interest! She leaves. Jodha says your arrogance make me sad, but I am happy that you will help me sometime.
At night, someone comes to Court, it is Shahnaz, Shehnaz looks at the throne in Court and says this is my right to sit on it, but Jalal is sitting on it forcefully, she sits on it and says I am the Queen, for some reason, I was hiding, but it’s finished now, because now, I will come in the open!
Jodha is telling about Yashoda and Krishna to Rahim, Rahim ask about Yashoda’s husband? Jodha says nand baba was her husband, Rahim says like here is your husband, she looks up and Jalal is standing there, all smiling.
Jalal comes there, Rahim says like Yashoda’s husband, Jalal says is same like him and your husband, Jodha is shy and ask Rahim to say greetings to Jalal, he does, Jalal says to Rahim that Jodha didn’t answer your query, Rahim ask her to answer, Jodha says yes, he is my husband, Rahim says then when will you will have a child like Yashoda had Kanhiyya, Jodha blushes and ask Rahim to go, Jalal smiles broadly. Jodha says Jalal don’t talk like this in front of kids, she ask Moti and Zakira to take Rahim to Salima, they go.
Jalal says now answer me, Jodha says do anybody ask like this? Jalal says I didn’t say anything, Rahim did and I also saw a dream so tell me when this dream will become true? Jodha blushes and she’s about to leave, Jalal holds her hand and stops her, they hug each other.
Voiceover says that Shehnaz used to think that Jalal is responsible for her mother’s condition and she wanted to take the throne from him and somebody was ready to help, the one who was waiting for an opportunity against Jalal, Shehnaz is seen to be writing letter and says;
Soon, I will get help and then I will see you Jalal!
In Court, Atgah l informs that this day, Jalal won the war against Hemu in guidance of Bairam Khan and won this throne, I congratulate him, and today, Salima will place the crown on his head again, Salima recalls Bairam Khan’s poetry for her, Salima comes and takes the crown but she’s sad.
Hamida comes and ask her to go ahead, Salima places the crown on his head, Jalal looks at her, Salima leaves, Jalal says today is pure and a beautiful day, but I am missing Khan baba, if he wasn’t there, then I wouldn’t have been a King, he made me learn politics, and today, I have this throne only because of his sincerity, if he had been here, I would have given him the respect and would have thanked him, today is a special day so I want to meet the nation, all should be there.
Jodha is getting ready, Jalal comes there, Jodha says you are ready? Jalal says seeing you, I get to know what ready means, is it that when you love, some person looks more beautiful to you? Jodha says why this false praises? Jalal says I didn’t lie, I came to tell you that, come with me when I will distribute coins to the nation, Jodha says I will come, but I have some demand, Jalal says here demand also, so tell me, Jodha says you have 3 special wives, I want you to not call them special, Jalal says you want that I snatch the special title from them? Jodha says yes, take the title or else take them with you to the nation as they are special too! Jalal says I understand and sorry for trying to argue with you, when I know I can’t win with you.
Ruqaiya is getting ready, Hoshiyar ask to make her ready very well, Salima comes there and ask is special wife for event, Ruqaiya says I am always ready when I have to go to the nation with Jalal, Salima says Jalal called his special wives, Ruqaiya says yes me, you and Jodha, so let’s go, they leave.
Shehnaz says that today is the celebration of the throne, but I will get my throne back, I will not let Jalal take it!!
Jodha comes and ask what you will not let him take? Shehnaz pretends and says Rahim always win against me when we play, I will not let him win this time, Jodha laughs and says he is just a kid, don’t do like this, now come for the throne celebration, she leaves, Shehnaz says I will get my throne, I am just waiting for my informer, someone is shown riding the horse through the Jungle.
Shivani is with Jodha, Shivani says it will be nice to see you with Jalal, Tejavant comes there and calls Jodha as queen, Jodha says you are the husband of my sister, you are like my brother-in-law, then why are referring to me as Queen Jodha? Shivani says yes, she is your Sister-in-law, he says okay I will call you Sister in law. They smile.
All the family members are waiting for Jalal, Jalal comes to the gate of the Palace, he greets Jodha but not Ruqaiya, Jalal sees one big thing and ask what is this? Atgah says Jodha has asked Tejavant to make this for this day, it is a big coin which has BISMILLAH written on one side and BHAGWAN on the other side.
Jalal says to Jodha that I don’t know how you think of beautiful ideas like this, but I want to say that I like it a lot. Jodha says when you fulfill your duty as the best King so how can I forget my duty to make you happy? Jalal smiles and says how can I forget that nobody can win against you in argument, they leave to meet the nation.
Jalal comes to the common people, they chant for his name, Jalal addresses that this day is very big for me, I got the throne from Hemu Singh this day and I promise I will serve my nation with my heart, he ask Atgah to distribute the coins, people sees the coins and says it has Bhagwan, and using them is a sin, Atgah says how dare you say anything against the King’s decision??
Jalal says let him explain himself, he ask the man what you were saying? The man says these coins have the notation of hindu religion, by rejecting it, we are respecting our religion, you proved that you made both religion one, Jalal says exactly, Bhagwan and God are one, but they say we can’t accept this coin, Jalal says see the other side of the coin, they say 777 is written on the other side which means Bismallah, Jalal says so how can you reject this coin, if sun lights your house, it lights the house of Hindu too, water removes thirst of both Hindu and Muslim, and when God didn’t divide us, then who are we to do this? I am a true muslim but I respect all religion, I was born in a Hindu house, if they had not help me, then I wouldn’t be standing here, a King is for all religions. All chant for Jalal’s name now, the family is happy at how Jalal handled the situation.
Some people with a letter is coming to Jalal, Atgah stops them from going to Jalal, one man says see Jalal, these Hindus are coming to you, they want to kill you, Jalal ask Atgah to let them come, they come to Jalal and gives him a paper, “AKBAR” is written on it, they say we are giving you the TITLE OF AKBAR, you are like a God to us, you are the only king who thought that we are human, you removed tax and now this? You are a great King, so we are giving you this title which means ONE AND ONLY ONE, they chant for JALALUDDIN MUHAMMAD AKBAR. Jalal says by giving me this title, you have given me more responsibilities, now I have to work more harder.
Soul talk– Jalal says to Jodha that I lost to your stubbornness, I wanted to listen to my name from your mouth Marium Zamani (Queen Mother) but you never called it. Jodha’s soul says I never called it, but that day, I couldn’t stop myself after listening to that title.
Back to the throne celebrations, Jalal looks at Jodha, she says I LOVE YOU A LOT MY KING, MY AKBAR. Jalal smiles.
Jodha comes to Jalal. She looks so happy. She says Emperor, he says what happened Queen Jodha? She hugs him and says the decision you made, made me so happy. From where do you bring all these things ? Such beautiful thoughts? I considered you my husband and Emperor until now, but now, I wanna greet such a good man. Truly, the ones who could never be together, you made them one. You united Hindus and Muslims, after this, Muslims will celebrate Diwali with Hindus and Hindus will celebrate Eid with Muslims. There will be peace and live everywhere. It would have been so good if every ruler starts thinking like you.
Jalal says how is that possible? None of them has a wife like I have. She says no, You have done such a good thing. He says then I deserve a gift. I am your husband and your Emperor, and I will feel good if you call me by my name. Jodha says we Ranjwanshi ladies doesn’t call our husbands with names. He says what do they call them when their husband is not a King? She says you are teasing me. He says no, I am saying the truth. He says I would love it if you call me by my name. She hugs him and says I can never do that. Jalal smiles.
Jodha is in her room. A Servant comes and asks you look worried ? She says no, it’s not like that. She says can I help it? Jodha says I am looking for some words int his book. She says it’s in Urdu, should I read it for you ? Jodha says no need to read it. Just want some words. I learned it but forgot because I didn’t revise it. She says okay, then let me tell you. She asks what were you looking for? Jodha says letter ‘A’. The Servant says you mean ‘Alif’ let me tell you. She writes it for her. Jodha says now the second letter is ‘K’, the servant writes ‘K’ in Urdu. Jodha says now ‘B’ she writes it in Urdu and smiles… She completes AKBAR and says this is all you wanted? Jodha says what have you written? she says AKBAR. This is what you wanted to write? The name that people have given to the Emperor. Now you should revise it. Jodha says thanks, no what is it in Urdu? ‘SHUKRIYA’. The Servant says that’s your generosity. She leaves. Jodha looks at AKBAR written in Urdu. She smiles and hugs it. She starts practicing it.
Jalal is done with the prayer. Hamida is in his room. He says adab to her. Hamida kisses his forehead and says may God give you long life, Emperor JALALUDDIN MUHAMMAD AKBAR. He smiles and says I will be just Jalal for you, people have given me the name of AKBAR. Hamida says I am proud of you and all your ancestors must be too. I wish your Dad was alive to see this day. He would have been so proud to see people loving you so much. Jalal says this is all because of you. Hamida says when I held you, first I prayed that you should be the greatest Emperor ever. I wished that you could rule hearts instead of just lands, and Allah accepted my prayers. Jalal swipes her tears. He says you are happy, so there should be no tears in your eyes.
Jodha comes to Jalal’s room. she says greetings to Hamida. She says I didn’t know you were here Mother. I will come later. Hamida says no, I was about to go. She leaves. Jalal says this morning is so blessed indeed. Why you came? Jodha says actually… Jalal looks at the paper in her hand. He says what’s in it? She says don’t see it right now. He opens it. It’s AKBAR written on it. She says I have practiced your name, writing your name. Jalal says this is so good. Jodha says I just tried. He says you tried the best.
Jalal says you Rajwanshi’s are not allowed to say the name of your husband, are you allowed to write it then? Jodha says yes we are. He says I just want to hear it once from you. Ruqaiya also calls me Jalal. She says Emperor, I told you we are not allowed to say our husband’s name. He says this is amazing, when you hated me, you used to call me Jalal and when you love me, you stopped saying my name. You know I can’t read right? So can you read it out what’s written on this paper? Is it Jalal ? She says no, your other name. He says what, Emperor? Jodha says no, it’s AKBAR, the name the people gave you.
Suddenly, she realizes that she has said his name. Jalal is smiling. She says what have I said? He says thank God I heard it. She says you teased me again. He says what else could I do, you never agree when I ask, they both smile.
Jodha says you know AKBAR means, BIG, HIGHEST and I am proud that the public gave this name to you. She asks what happened? You look serious? He says I have to be. People have given me such a big responsibility. I have to be like the name they gave me. Jodha says you don’t have to prove anything. You are doing everything perfectly. He says not really, I can’t even be good at being a Son. My Dad’s wife, my mother, I can’t help her. Jodha says you at least realize this and you can do it, I know you will be successful. Jalal says I will find her but who knows how will she be till then? In what condition she would be in?
Maham comes to Chand begum and asks do you recognize me ? She says no. Maham grunts tell me you did! She laughs and says my daughter, how can I forget you? Maham says I am not your daughter. Chand begum says go away from here. I won’t give you my daughter, you are here to take her. Maham says you have to recognize everyone, myself and yourself. You will remember everything. She goes out. Maham is covering her face with a shawl when she comes out. She sees a mark on the wall. she says it looks like some one marked it to remember it. Has someone figured out about this place?
Sharifudden says I don’t know what to do. The way Jalal is winning the hearts of people is killing me. You want me to be patient? Abul mali says yes, be patient. Sharifudden says I have been patient till now. I can’t do it anymore. I have to get what’s mine. Abul Mali says don’t worry you will get all that you want soon. Sharifudden says as long as Jalal is alive, it’s not going to be easy. The other one says you have beat a King, and only killing is the option now. He laughs and Abul mali says I think the bruise has affected your brain, Jalal will lose. He says yes he will. This war will take everything away from him! He says not me, someone else whose army has spread all around will do it, they will beat him. He says Jalal is like a lion, he can’t be defeated that easily. Abul mali says he has the mind of the fox and the speed of a leopard. Killing is his habit. There is nothing like mercy and peace in what I heard about the one who can bring Jalal down on his knees. She is the step mother of Jalal. MAH CHUCHAK!
Some people are shown in an icy area and a lady comes on a horse there with her face covered. A man is handing from legs. She comes down from her horse and move towards that man. She steps up. The hanging man says please forgive me, someone save me please. The lady says last wish of the dying person should be granted, but you are asking for something that I don’t have. No forgiveness, no mercy. She takes out her sword. She says you have to leave the world without your wish being granted. She cuts his chest, he is screaming. He says please forgive me. She cuts his rope and says his death should be good so that I can be happy. A man comes and cuts his neck. She takes off her cloth and laughs. She says Jalal will remember my name till the day of judgment!!!
