Bharmal meets Jalal. Bharmal says when I got the news that you blamed my Children, I could have also fought against you, could have raised my sword against you, but I didn’t stop because of fear, but due to the relations we share/have. He advises him that, if a common man does some mistake, then it is forgettable, but if a King does some mistake, then his name is tarnished in history. Jalal says I will remember it. Bharmal says he wants to go to Amer before the news of Ratan Singh’s death reaches Sukanya and Menewati, as I have to handle them. Jalal says I understand, and you and your Sons can go to Amer. Bharmal says they will stay here with you until the Culprit is caught.
Bharmal comes to the Palace gate and he’s leaving, when Hamida bano greets him. He says you stood up for Jodha, and you think of her as your own daughter, myself and Menewati are grateful to you.
All Amer Princes greets him. Jalal greets him as well. Bharmal blesses Jodha and leaves.
Moti comes to Jodha. Jodha says everybody was there to see Bharmal off, but where is Maham Anga and what is she up to now?
Maham Anga is offering prayers when Resham comes and informs her that Jalal saw Bharmal off himself. Maham Anga says so what, he is a King and all that is because of Politics.
Moti comes in and says Jodha is calling you. Resham says how dare you order Maham Anga like this! Don’t you remember you were about die behind bricks? Maham Anga shuts Resham up saying, it’s not her fault, as Queen Jodha is calling a Servant, so there must be reason for it. She tells Moti to go, I will come. She leaves.
Resham says Jodha got insulted, but she’s still arrogant! Maham Anga says Jalal freed her, as she was innocent, so she’s flying high these days, 3i will go and check what she is up to.
Maham Anga comes to Jodha in the Kitchen. Jodha greets her. Maham Anga sees Jodha mixing something in a box from another box.
Maham is afraid and remembers how she mixed Thorn Apple’s extract in the Saffron. She ask Jodha what she is doing? Jodha says actually, my brother is not well, so I am preparing him home remedy. Maham ask what she’s mixing? Jodha says Thorn Apple in the Saffron. Maham is stunned.
Jodha corrects herself saying, Rose water in the Saffron, this word Thorn Apple’s extract is stuck in my mind, I am sorry. Maham sternly ask you asked me to come here to make me see all this rubbish! Jodha says yes, actually I am doing it for the first time, so I need your help, I want to know how you mixed Thorn Apple’s extract in the Saffron milk. Maham ask what? Jodha says I know you conspired everything. Maham asks if she’s in her right senses? What are you saying, nobody can point finger at me, as Jalal trusts me a lot and he will decide who did that, not you!
Jodha says yes, he will decide who the Culprit is, but he must find the real one. Maham says okay, you think I am the real Culprit? Let’s go and tell it to Jalal, I will tell him that I did this crime, then the decision will be his. Jodha says okay, let’s go.
Jalal is sitting in his room when Jodha and Maham Anga appears. Jalal says strange, as you both are together. Maham Anga says I will tell you one more strange thing. I got to know who the real Culprit is. Jalal says tell me, my sword is waiting to cut his head off! Maham says the one who did all this, and that killed your Child is none other than me. I killed your Child.
Jalal is in disbelief and says this can’t be true. Maham says this is the truth, I can’t lie to you, I was in charge of everything at the Ceremony, so I am also responsible for all this, I doubted Jodha and proved her wrong, so now, she is doubting me.
Jalal gives Jodha a look. Maham continues to say that I am responsible for all this, I have no right to live, so just kill me! I served you day and night, prays every single minute for you, even then, people doubts me, then there is nothing left, just punish me! She cries and sits in Jalal’s feet. Jalal get her up from the ground and hugs her and gives Jodha a furious look, who is anyways disgusted at the scene.
Jalal asks Jodha, do you know how important she is to me? My Uncle detent me, but she jumped in to save me! I know Adham Khan used to cry all over, yet, she nurtured me, ignoring her own Child! I will die, but won’t ever let anything happen to her!
Maham Anga tells him that a King should stay away from anger, it weakens the power of the decision of a King. Anybody can accuse me, but I am so proud of you, that whatever the world says, you will never allege me. I promise i will find the murderer. She hugs Jalal. He says nobody could have saved you from my anger Jodha! You should thank her.
Moti tells Jodha that you should not have gone directly to the King. He blindly trusts Maham Anga. Let him do whatever he wants to!
Jodha says I felt bad for the mother who couldn’t be, I am sad that I am a dual face man’s wife. I am sad because he doesn’t listens to want he doesn’t wants. He doesn’t understand that the people near him are there because he’s powerful.
You didn’t do right by blaming Aunt. Resham is in shock when Maham Anga ask what happened? Resham says I can’t believe you did this, and says you always asked me to kill Jalal’s Child, but this time, you did this alone, why? Maham Anga says it’s not that I don’t trust you, but I had to do it and I didn’t tell Adham Khan as well. She ask Resham to bring juice for her and thinks Jodha got a chance and pointed me out to the King, but I will not give her anymore chance!
Jalal is with Ruqaiya. Ruqaiya says you are silent even with me, what happened? I think you are very close to getting the real Culprit. Jalal says not now, but he has to catch him! Ruqaiya says it’s not your fault. He says it’s his fault, as people are getting chances to pointing fingers at the wrong person and now, that Jodha is set free, she’s also pointing fingers at everyone. He says I don’t have a heart, but she pointed to someone very close to me.
Ruqaiya ask who? Jalal says Aunt. She is shocked. Jalal tells Ruqaiya that Jodha has falsely accused Maham Anga. Ruqaiya thinks that Jodha is not such a fool, that will accuse someone falsely, there must be some reason for her conclusion, and thinks what has she found out, to have made her point finger at someone that Jalal doesn’t raise his voice at? There must be something to it.
Ruqaiya is deeply in thought about the reason behind Jodha’s act, when Maham Anga comes.
Ruqaiya says I thought after making Jodha a liar in front of Jalal, you would be very happy. Maham Anga is stunned. Ruqaiya says Jalal tells me everything. Jalal’s life is in three people – Hamida bano, herself, and you (Maham Anga). She says if the Angels comes and tells Jalal that you are the real Culprit, he won’t believe it, but it’s good he didn’t believe Jodha. I didn’t like what you did!
Maham Anga ask what? Ruqaiya says you took Jodha’s side. Maham ask what? She says why did you stopped Jalal? He could have slapped and thrown her out of Agra, but why did you stop him from doing just that?
Maham Anga says he is a King and if he does something inappropriate, then his name will be tarnished, and for me, it’s not important if somebody points finger at me, but i can’t see Jalal’s dignity getting spoiled. She is about to leave when Ruqaiya ask to complete the Chess game!
Maham Anga says there was a murder, fingers are being pointed, the Culprit is roaming freely, this work is more important than a Chess game now, and once the Culprit is caught, then there is whole life to play Chess with you. She leaves.
Ruqaiya says I think that from your body language, it doesn’t look like you did what Jodha had blamed you for, but I don’t know why my mind is telling me to ponder over Jodha’s words.
Moti says you are proved innocent, so now, you should be away from this conspiracy. Jodha says I will say it again again to Jalal, and until he believes me, I have to keep showing him Maham Anga’s real face.
Maharana is with a Ministers who says to fight with Jalal, we need a big force, he is very powerful. Maharana says to fight, a force is not needed, but the will and courage that I have. The Minister says but it’s not the case with all Kings, they are not willing to fight against him. Maharana says just like Bharmal who got his daughter married to Jalal only to save himself, right? A Soldier informs him that Bharmal is going to Amer from Agra through this route. Maharana is thoughtful.
Jodha comes to meet Jalal. He says before saying anything, remember not to blame Maham Anga, I will not spare you! Jodha says it’s normal, that whoever comes to get justice from you, you threatens him/her!
Jalal says you are lucky that Ruqaiya first saved you, then Maham Anga, but now, nobody will save you! Jodha says I’m never scared of telling the truth and I don’t care about who will save me, you just don’t trust my words, but maybe, you will believe a 4 years old Child’s words. Jalal says you involved a Child in this…? Disgusting!
Jodha says what should I have done, if a Child has seen Maham Anga’s heinous crime? Jalal shouts when Rahim comes in. Jodha ask him to say what he said to her? Jalal ask him to speak up! Rahim looks at him.
Rahim is terrified and says I didn’t steal the box, Aunt is lying and she’s not good. He ran away from there. Jalal fumes. Jalal says I don’t want to listen to anything, and he asks if these are her values, using a Child for your own interest?
Jodha says the truth is the truth. Jalal says yes, the truth is that you are lying! He ask her to leave, else he won’t be able to control his anger! Jodha says the mistake is mine, I am trying to show a blind way, it’s all my fault that I am fighting and trying so hard to make you see the truth.
Jalal shouts leave! She leaves. Jalal blabbers that he doesn’t know what problem she has with Aunt!
Jodha says time is passing by, and I don’t know what to do? Moti says why didn’t Rahim tell Jalal what he told you? Jodha says he is a Child, and got really scared of Jalal. I have no proof now. Moti says what will I do now? Jodha says I will keep fighting for the truth and prays to the goddess to show her some way.
The Servant comes and gives her holy offering. She informs her that there is a goddess temple nearby. Jodha says it’s a sign of the goddess, that I should follow the truth’s path. I will go to the temple to seek goddess’ help.
Moti says you are not under house arrest anymore, so you can go anywhere, but you should first ask for Jalal’s permission. Jodha says why won’t he allow me to go to the Temple? I will ask him anyways.
Bharmal is on his way, while Pratap is waiting for him. Bharmal says what is this stopping me like this? Pratap says you are a traitor! Bharmal says I am not. Pratap says you are, as you got your daughter married, just to save yourself! Your respect is tarnished, and Sujanpur’s King tried to help you by getting his Son married to your daughter, but his Son got killed, now, nobody will make relations with your daughter! Strange your one daughter is married to Jalal, and the other’s fiance got killed by him. Bharmal says I don’t want to talk to you. Pratap says even I, have no interest, but your Nephew came to me to seek help in fighting against you, but I removed the tiles of where he stood, because you are all traitors!
Jalal ask Ruqaiya for the one that made the box. He asks her for where he lives? Ruqaiya says why do you ask? Hoshiyar was the one that brought him here, his name is Altaf Qadri and he lives near the Temple, a little away from the Palace, should I call him here?
Jalal says no, as this will alarm the Culprit, so I will go and meet him myself.
Jodha comes to Hamida bano and says there is no peace in the Palace, so I wanted to go to the Temple to pray and I wanted permission to go, but Jalal is not here, so can you grant me the permission? Hamida bano says this is a very good thought, go.
Jodha comes to the Temple, and does some dusting. She prays to the goddess to show her the way, as the truth should come out to Jalal. So show me some way.
Outside the Temple, Jalal in disguise as a Beggar, is asking for money from everyone.
Jodha comes out of the Temple. Jalal sees her and thinks what is she doing here?
