Later, Satya, Mahi, Krutika and others are seeing Khurana family pictures. He gets emotional seeing Sid and Roshni’s picture. Mitul says it seems like God stopped making couples like Sid and Roshni, except one couple; Satya and Mahi. Satya kisses Mahi on her forehead. Raj looks at Sid and Roshni’s picture. Satya assures Raj not to worry and says he will become his voice and body parts. Raj looks at him. Satya says he will look good once clean shaven, and kisses his hand. He says this is his family, Satya’s family… he won’t let this family break. He has to find out about the person on whose signals, mum-in-law is dancing to. He burns something outside the house. Mum-in-law asks what is he burning? He says he is their gardener and burning something to rid off mosquitoes. Mum-in-law asks him to stop burning it. Satya comes to the room when she goes out and checks her phone. He then calls someone and asks to get info about a number. Mum-in-law sees him hiding and gets doubtful.
Mum-in-law hears Satya’s phone conversation and thinks to divert his mind and do something. She comes to them and says she is not bad as they think. She says today is lohri (Bonfire), and that’s why she kept party at the house. She gives out clothes and asks Satya and Mahi to get ready for the party. Krutika thinks her mum-in-law is accepting them, and asks Satya not to doubt her. Satya thinks what is going on in her mind?
Later in the evening, Mahi gets ready and wears salwar kameez (a long tunic worn over a pair of baggy trousers). Satya comes and holds her tied hands and romances with her. He says she’s looking Punjabi today, Mahi Sen Gupta. Mahi says she is Mahi Karanveer Khurana. He asks why she got ready today? Mahi says for her ranjha (famous fairy)… and smiles. They fall on bed. Satya says she couldn’t spend even 2 mins with him and gets closer to her.
Later, Satya is about to apply vermilion on Mahi’s forehead, Kareena comes just then and says she wants vermilion on her forehead. Mahi says only married women applies vermilion on their forehead and he’s about to apply it on her forehead, when Kareena suddenly throws it away. Satya says let it be. Kareena says sorry and goes. Mahi and Satya romance again. Later, Satya gets a call from the detective, saying that he has sent proofs to him in an envelope. Mum-in-law hears him and says envelope, who will bring it?
Kareena dances to the song Ladki beautiful. Satya and Mahi also join her. Mum-in-law sees them busy in their dance and receives the envelope. She thinks to hide it. Mum-in-law introduces Satya to the guest and asks them to question Satya where he was and what he was doing before now? The guest asks Satya if he missed his father? Satya couldn’t understand her and replies wrongly. He asks her to take the drink , but makes it fall on her purse mistakenly. The guest lady gets angry and says he can’t be Sid’s son, he has no etiquette!
Mahi gets angry at her and talks in English. She says you people are not going to change! He apologized to her when he dropped the champagne on her mistakenly. She says Satya is having manners and values, which the people here doesn’t have!
Mum-in-law opens the envelope and gets shocked seeing the proofs. She deletes her boss phone number and thinks where to throw the paper, and thinks to burn it in Lohri fire (bonfire). She keeps the papers in the lohri fire and says Satya will her burnt too. Satya comes and tries to take the papers, but it’s already burnt. Mum-in-law accepts that she has burnt the papers, as she doesn’t like it. Satya tells her that he will expose her and show her vampish face to his family! Mum-in-law challenges him. Satya says she has never faced him before. He holds her hand.
Mum-in-law shouts and tells everyone that Satya tried to burnt her hand. Krutika and Satya are shocked. Mum-in-law says she has done so much for him, and he’s spitting venom against her, so she can’t stay here anymore! Satya asks her to stop her drama, and says it was her act to divert their attention. He promises her that he will expose her true face, else his name is not Satya! Mum-in-law says someone send him to a mental asylum!
Krutika says enough and asks how dare he accuse his Mum-in-law?
Mum-in-law asks Krutika to accuse him, and says the mistake is from his upbringing and his chawl, where he was brought up. She says he doesn’t deserve to be a Khurana. Mahi asks her to stop it! Krutika apologizes to her. Mahi puts ointment on Satya’s hand. Satya says he’s not equal to Siddharth Khurana’s reflection as well, and says he is weak and couldn’t expose this woman. Mahi says don’t know what to do. Satya says they have to do something big, and asks if he’s with her? Mahi says she’s always with him.
Krutika reads Satya’s letter that he can’t stand the daughter-in-law (Aunt) being insulted and will leave the house. She is shocked and goes to stop Satya. She says she didn’t bring her here to let her leave, and says she has done a mistake. She says he has her brother’s blood and says he has to change his lifestyle. Satya says his lifestyle can’t change. He says he felt bad when she was in tears. He is afraid that she will be teary eyed if he stays here, and says he can’t tolerate it, if someone tries to ruin their family. He says he wants to inherit his father’s values and customs and not his habits. Krutika says she knows what she is doing and stops him from leaving.
Mahi makes Satya wear formal clothes and teach him etiquette and style. Krutika teaches him table manners. Later, Krutika tells Deepak that she is going somewhere. Mahi brings breakfast for her and asks about Satya. Krutika says he is changed now and even, his foot steps sound is changed. Satya makes an entry in style. Krutika blesses him. Mitul is surprised to see him in suit and says Sid… Sid Khurana.
Satya smiles and says no…, Karanveer Khurana, his new name and identity. He says he was living a rented life till now, and he will keep his old identity near to his heart. He says Karanveer is born today, and his mum gave him life… his Aunt is his mum. Krutika is emotional. Satya says she made him to be called his father’s son, and says he is thankful to her. Krutika is emotional and hugs her. Satya thinks to start his plan to expose mum-in-law. Mahi looks on smiling.
Satya comes to Mahi and asks what is she doing? Mahi says she is making cake. Satya says she can take off his clothes to help her. They have an eye lock. Ruhdariya song plays… They romance in the kitchen.
Kareena comes and asks what they are doing? She says she will also play this game and asks him to let her apply cake on his face. Satya tries to stop her. Kareena applies chocolate on his face. She then asks him to apply it on her face. Mahi says she also made the chocolate preparation and gives her the chocolate. Mahi and Satya get closer.
Mitul and Krutika comes there. Mahi shows them the cake. Mum-in-law also comes there and says she will eat the cake. Mahi says she can’t have this as she made boiled vegetables for her. She says she has diabetes, so she should have this. Mum-in-law turns to Krutika. Krutika says Mahi is right. Mum-in-law gets upset and goes.
