Shagun grows annoyed as Raunak blames her for their predicament.
Pankhuri steals a ring from blazer and tries on her hand and says this is the place where I belong, she says Priyanka scolds Pankhuri for her involvement with Raj despite Sarthak’s love for her. She pleads with Pankhuri to forget Raj. Raj overhears this and realizes Pankhuri was the one sending him messages.
Shagun warns that Shlok could end up in jail if they lose even one of the remaining three tasks. She introduces the next task, “Rakhi (Sacred Thread) vs. Mangalsutra, (Wedding Chain)” where Sumeet has to choose between her husband and brother. Sumeet advises Shagun to be cautious, as trying to break her relationships might cost her dearly. Shagun hints at the danger in the next task.
A mysterious text is jumbled and doesn’t make sense. Priyanka promises to reveal the truth to someone named Aryore, even if it means facing consequences. Pankhuri expresses her determination not to stay in this poor family and vows to find a way out.
Poonam mentions that in the next task, Shlok will suffer, and Raunak will enjoy it. Everyone advises Sumeet not to agree to play, but Shagun insists on setting the rules. She announces that this time, the game will be played by Sumeet’s brother and husband, and Sumeet must decide who goes first.
Sumeet refuses to participate in such a game. Shlok and Raj assure her they can handle any task. Raunak explains the task: walking over two planks with burning coals in between.
Shagun forces Sumeet to play, showing her a video of Akki crying and asking Sumeet to save him. She adds that if Sumeet doesn’t participate, Akki won’t survive to tie Rakhi (sacred thread) to anyone.
A dilemma arises as Raj and Shlok insist on Sumeet choosing the other person to save. Poonam advises against playing the game and putting anyone in danger.
Sumeet breaks down, unable to choose between her husband and brother. Shagun offers to help her decide, showing her a photo album highlighting her brother’s sacrifices.
Raj and Shlok plead with Sumeet to save the other. Shagun gives Sumeet a two-minute deadline to make her choice, and Sumeet is left in a difficult situation, contemplating her decision.
Shagun hands Sumeet a pen and paper, telling her she has only two minutes to make a choice. Sumeet quickly writes a name on the paper and tosses it to Raj and Shlok. Raj catches it and they read it together, and Shlok starts walking on the plank above burning coals first.
Anju informs Masum that Sumeet has chosen Shlok, and Shagun and Masum mock Sumeet for giving up on her brother. Sumeet responds confidently, stating that both her relationships are strong. Raj is shown walking on his hands instead of his feet.
In a flashback, it’s revealed that Sumeet chose this to let Shlok walk on two feet and Raj on his hands.
Shagun becomes furious at her failure, but the family members start clapping to support Shlok and Raj, who successfully complete the task. Sumeet points out that they are following Shagun’s rules since Raj is using his hands instead of his feet on the plank. She credits the idea to a childhood photo album. Raunak tries to make things difficult for Shlok and Raj, but Sumeet pushes him away in frustration.
Shlok and Raj both manage to descend from the plank safely, and the family cheers for their success. Sumeet pushes Shagun toward the fire but holds her by one hand, giving her an ultimatum. She tells Shagun that if she wants to be saved, Raunak must cross the plank. Shagun panics and urges Raunak to comply. Sumeet eventually relents and moves Shagun away from the fire, reminding her that selfish people like Raunak are not affected by her death.
Sumeet delivers an emotional poem about relationships, and the family members clap around Shagun in a circle. The next morning, Shlok opens the door and finds a pot hanging with something burning inside. He coughs and assumes it’s Shagun’s doing.
Shagun arrives and warns them that they’ll have to be sad and depressed if they fail the next task. She reveals that Shlok and Sumeet must climb a human pyramid to break the pot. Shagun also hints at a sixth task related to celebrating Janmashtami. She teases everyone and leaves them to prepare for the task
Shagun gives each family member a gift, and Poonam is shocked to receive a white saree.
A flashback shows Poonam hiding the truth of her widowhood. Shlok scolds Shagun for making such a bad joke, and Sumeet wonders why she gave Poonam a simple task and a white saree. Sumeet tells Shlok that Shagun must have a hidden agenda, leaving them both puzzled, Shlok says don’t worry we will find out the truth. Ashok suggests that Shlok shouldn’t uncover the truth.
Drunk Ashok tries to teach everyone how to make a human pyramid. Ashok tries to demonstrate them but falls. Rajiv gets annoyed and complains that Ashok, being drunk, can’t help them practice. Ashok tells everyone to practice tomorrow in the ground and they leave. Poonam scolds Rajiv for his behavior. Rajiv says it’s time for practice and Tauji is not in state. Ashok says Rajiv is right and he walks away.
Shlok suggests that his father, Anand, should help them, as they’ve faced problems alone for too long, and it’s time for him to come back. Poonam becomes scared, thinking about the consequences. Dadi agrees it’s time to call Anand and asks Shlok to do it. Poonam drops a teacup out of fear.
Sumeet asks Poonam is everything alright. Shlok takes the phone and calls Anand. Poonam tries to stop him, but he insists that Anand has already received the call.
Ashok pretends to be Shlok’s father on the call and advises him to get training from a professional as he has many responsibilities. Sumeet wonders why Poonam is so worried about Shlok talking to his father.
Shlok tells his “Father” to come home because it’s been three years, and if he still can’t come, he will cut ties with him. Ashok pretends to be emotional and agrees to try to come home. Shlok is happy, thinking his father is finally coming, and they will win the task.
Ashok feels guilty for giving Shlok false hope. Poonam meets him and explains that someone who is no longer in this world can’t come back. She cries, revealing that she hid the truth about Shlok’s father’s death for his well-being. They are shocked to hear some noise and find Sumeet eavesdropping. Sumeet becomes emotional listening to their conversation.
Priyanka goes to Raj’s room to take a card Pankhuri had sent for him. She takes the card but hides when Raj unexpectedly enters the room. Raj finds her veil hanging near the gate and mistakenly thinks there’s a Thief. He pulls the veil, causing Priyanka to fall into his arms. They share an intense moment, and Priyanka lies, saying that the card belongs to Vani. Raj teases her with a smile.
