Shristhi walks down the stairs where Kritika greets her, she exclaims they both are the first ones to get ready. Kritika replies why is she shocked as they would have to make her understand, Kritika reveals everyone has to work in this house so they get ready after completing their work, she would not understand since she doesn’t do any work, Shristhi then taunts her saying even Kritika is a free loader, she sees Sameer who turns to leave but Shristhi stops him explaining that he must talk some sense into Kritika since she doesn’t respect her and keeps on calling her Shristhi instead of Sister-in-law.
Dadi coming mentions she likes the drama a lot and Karina requests them to let her stay out of this drama, Kareena questions why is Kritika lying blaming Shristhi for being the one who talks nonsense, Kritika asks Sameer who is Rena. Shristhi keeps on questioning him.
When Rishab and Preeta also walk down the stairs and Mahesh exclaims they are also looking really good. The entire Luthra family leaves when Preeta sees the garland on the photo of Karan, just as she walks out of the house, the garland falls from the portrait.
Anjali is with the Media personal who are questioning if Arjun is an Indian and why did they not know about him, she replies he is an Indian who has finally come back to live with his own people. Anjali’s cousin Snedha questions if she can pass her message that she admires Arjun and feels he is really charming, she takes her cousin away when Snedha questions if Anjali also likes Arjun and is she not jealous that he is with her sister but Anjali assures she is really happy.
Snedha asks what is the matter with Arjun as ever since he came he is always quiet and she feels he has some purpose, Anjali thinks of how he revealed that his own wife and elder brother tried to murder him, she thinks he actually has a purpose which is to destroy Preeta and Rishab.
Rishab and Preeta reach the location but she is still lost after getting out, he asks what happened when she asks that the entire family left the house with them but they have not been able to reach now, he informs they got late since they are coming in their own cars, so they can wait for them all to arrive.
Rishab leaves to welcome them when Preeta notices someone staring at her from the window, she is tensed when Rishab comes asking if they can leave however, she is still looking at the window when the person slowly walks away.
Anjali entering the room informs Preeta has arrived, he replies he knows advising her to be ready for tonight as even if tomorrow the sun shines still the mark of this night would not be left from them, she must wait for it so Anjali rushes away when he calls someone advising them to arrive by nine thirty.
The Luthras reach the venue when they all enter but Preeta is really tensed and is still walking while the rest of them are really happy but the light suddenly go off so they wonder if it is because of a faulty fuse however Anjali comes on the stage with the dance performance, seeing which everyone starts enjoying but Preeta suddenly notices Arjun walking down the stairs, she feels as if he is Karan and even informs Rishab but Arjun walks over with Anjali to Preeta, she is constantly staring at him and even he is looking back to her, she remembers how she would look to karan so feels uncomfortable and even gets tears in her eyes. Anjali ends her performance with the clapping from the guests.
The Reporters ask Rakhi if today they would also display the kit of Karan, she replies this is why they have come when he mentions if karan was alive then he would have been the chief guest of this party, they even ask Mahesh how he is feeling, he says he is really glad but misses Karan a lot.
Arjun says he is glad Preeta came to the party hearing which she is tensed when he explains this is because he never thought she would come to the party, Rishab replies he is mistaken since when Preeta jee makes a promise then she fulfills it, he asks if his Preeta jee doesn’t speak herself, the reporters then come to Arjun explaining that over the course five years he has been able to collect a very tremendous cricket collection, Arjun explains he is The Karan Luthra’s biggest fan so they all must wait for 9:30pm when a big secret would be revealed, hearing this, Preeta is not able to bear it and so leaves crying.
Rakhi is standing in the door when Arjun comes to see her from behind, he recalls when she was performing the prayer with the entire family and it was time for his arrival so she would be standing at the door.
Preeta asked why did she leave, he informed because Karan is about to arrive so she left for him as a Mother knows when her Son is about to arrive.
Rakhi is waiting for Karan and when he arrives, she starts performing his arti, so he hugs Rakhi. Dadi says he told her about his arrival but Rakhi replied her heart told her that Karan is about to arrive and she can feel him, Preeta asked him if he’s coming tomorrow? But Karan revealed he really likes surprises and the smile on his Mother’s face.
Rakhi exclaims even today she is feeling as if her Karan is about to arrive and so she rushes into the party calling the name of Karan, he also opens his arms but she walks away from him to the other side towards the door waiting for her Son.
Karan thinks her Son has returned and is standing in front of her, Rakhi starts crying and turns away depressed, he also wipes off the tears from his face. Karan recalls how they were like a happy family and always stayed together. Karan slowly walks to her recalling when he would try to blackmail her saying she doesn’t take care of her Son.
Rakhi feeling as if someone is standing behind her turns to see Arjun so asks what happened as he has tears in his eyes, he slowly takes out a mobile but then drops it, he kneeling takes blessings of Rakhi and she also places her hand over his head blessing him, Rakhi feels as if he is her Karan so even places her hand on his face asking what did he think that she would not understand as only a Mother can understand something is wrong.
Mahesh asks what happened so she says that Arjun was taking her blessings but did not think it is nice and then so dropped the mobile. She mentions she gave the blessings with full heart seeing which Mahesh is smiling and then thanks Arjun who exclaims he also wants to take the blessings from him so even Mahesh gives him the blessings. Karan is not able to bear it so takes an excuse, thinking that Preeta has snatched everything from him so he is also going to take everything from her!
Kritika coming from behind exclaims she did not think they would get to meet so early, she asks how is he when Kritika assures she is fine, he hands her a card mentioning she can always call him for any help, he requests her to not share his number with anyone so she said that he has already shared it with her, Kritika thanks him once again for all the help when he replies she is his sister so must not be so formal.
Dadi coming questioning what are they talking about, Kritika explains that he is the same person who helped her in the market, Dadi exclaims Kritika told her and they said she has some relation with him, he unintentionally reveals they have relation but then mentions that it might be from their past life. He asks why is Dadi is so tensed so she reveals she is remembering her late Grandson, Karan as not a single day has passed when she did not cry thinking about him.
Arjun hugs Dadi exclaiming that he is now going to reveal the bat of Karan who was his strength and also weakness. Kritika wishes him all the best so he leaves.
Preeta walks to the corner and Rishab is following her but he manages to reach her questioning what has happened, she replies she can no longer stay in this party and wants to go back home, Arjun from behind reveals she cannot leave just now, Preeta mentions she is really tired so he replies that he knows which is why he has brought the juice for her, Rishab tries to take it when he refuses mentioning it is for Preeta, she gets tensed so he exclaims she would only drink it from her husband, Rishab takes it but Preeta refuses to drink it at all.
Arjun replies even then she cannot leave the party as the exhibition is about to start so she must see his collection, it is really important for him that she stays in the party, Preeta looks at him in disbelief.
Karan asks Rishab to request Preeta since he is not good at it, Arjun exclaims how can she leave the party of karan then clarifies that he is going to exhibit the collection of Karan, Arjun then leaves when Rishab exclaims that she can go if she is uncomfortable when he is worried seeing her.
Arjun takes the stage mentioning he is really glad to see them all together in his party, he cannot reveal what he is feeling in his heart, Anjali places her hand on his shoulder so he takes a pause apologizing, he asks them all to meet Anjali Ahuja since she is his, when she exclaims, she is his PA as she takes care of everything that he needs, he exclaims he will not bore them now as they are here to see his prized collection and at least achievement.
Arjun presses the button which reveals the entire collection that he has of the bats, they all start clapping for him so Dadi also starts weeping seeing the kit of karan when he exclaims that the bat in the center belong to The Karan Luthra.
The Reporters ask why did he keep this as red, he replies this color makes them remember the colour of blood so he thinks of the night when he fell in the dam, he reveals this red colour has a meaning and it is showing the colour of Karan’s blood, the entire Luthra family is stunned.
The Reporter questions what is he saying when Arjun asks what did he say that is not understandable, Arjun then asks Rishab for his advice who replies he doesnot want it but then they cannot restrict his thoughts, Arjun exclaims he said it without saying, this is what makes him special and he can speak the truth in front of everyone but they are not even able to understand it, Shristhi is shocked.
Arjun exclaims they have a very important information regarding the murder of Karan, which is that his death caused the belongings of his Cricket kit to reach the heights, he apologizes for the Luthra’s but when he heard about the death of karan then was also eager to meet him, he apologizes to his Dadi and says to all the Reporters that they must learn to speak the truth from him as they when it is time to correct the injury then they must not ruin it, but sometimes they reveal some deep secrets of how they got the injuries.
Arjun stops anyone from leaving mentioning as he said 9:30 is the time when a big secret would be revealed, the entire Luthra family is shocked hearing him say when Arjun asks Rishab to not leave him now, clarifying he meant to not leave the party he assures they can all ask him any question why they desire. Arjun steps down the stage as Preeta long with all the guests are looking at him, Preeta and Shristhi both turn back, when she notices that Preeta is worried.
Preeta is standing and gets shocked as Shristhi places her hand, Shristhi asks what happened and just then Arjun asks her to drink some water, Preeta placing it on the table refuses to take it when he asks what is wrong since he behaved nice with her, she questions why did he wear the clothes as Karan.
Arjun replies he always wears such clothes and thinks that Karan is copying him, Shristhi requests Preeta to calm down since he is just teasing her like her Karan Sir and even Kavya, Preeta asks her to not call him Sir when Arjun thinks how she would also call him as Sir but replies she can call him Arjun, he asks what does Preeta do besides showing attitude when Shristhi informs she is a Doctor, he teases Preeta but leaves exclaiming that Shristhi is the clever Sister, she is glad he complimented her and feels he likes her, Preeta gets really angry when she notices it and so leaves Preeta.
Rishab is with the other guests when they ask how did he come to this party since he doesnot seem like it, Rishab replies they have to do some things which even they do not like, Arjun coming back asks them to not believe he is a nice guy just by his behaviour, advising them to not look more closely only then would they know the real Rishab Luthra, the guests leave after getting a call.
Rishab questions what wrong has he done to Arjun as he never misbehaves with anyone and only focuses on his business, he completes his work with full attention. Arjun adds after that the person also ends, Rishab questions what did he mean by this statement.
Arjun adds if he by accident kept any grudge then kills the person so Rishab asks what is he saying when he replies that he kills everyone by his sweet talks. Arjun shakes his hand to be friends once again, Arjun is shocked seeing the watch on his hand, Arjun recalls when he gifted the watch to Rishab mentioning he has gotten fed up seeing the old watch, Rishab asked him to not do it since this is really expensive but karan replied even he is expensive as he just won a tournament.
Karan gets emotional so Rishab asks if he can leave his hand as they have shaken it long enough to become friends, Rishab replies he was looking at his watch and karan gifted him the watch when he came from the tournament, Rishab at once drops it but then Arjun catches it, Rishab informs he always keeps the watch by himself throughout the day, Rishab says it is still not broken but everything gifted by Karan is memorable and feels like home.
Arjun makes it fall when Rishab replies that he did a right thing by saving him and even if his bad time starts then it doesnot mean anything, Arjun questions why did he say it so Rishab replies he felt like it so said it.
Rishab walks away when Arjun standing from behind exclaims, they both took his life and he thought that Rishab loves him the most but even today made him feel like it but he is not karan and Arjun and he feels really hurt hearing such words who also hurts others, he must just wait and watch as the pain he suffered would be suffered by everyone.
Sameer is looking at Anjali but Shristhi gets really jealous so goes to her questioning what is she doing as this is his nature but what happened to her, Anjali asks her to relax as he is not her type, she replies even Preeta di used to say like this when Sameer replies even Karan used to say it for Preeta, Anjali informs she said it since he is married and she doesn’t go after married people.
Arjun sees Preeta standing in the corner and tries his best to go after her but he’s stopped by the guests, he wonders where did she go so tries his best to search for her but he’s once again stopped by the guests.
Rishab sees Preeta drinking the juice so goes to her, she also walks towards him when she stumbles but Arjun manages to catch her, he recalls his first meeting with Preeta and how he would catch her.
