Mehri proudly tells Maharaj ji that she has done most of the work. He replies that he has to decorate the house now. Sagar hears about the flowers. Amma ji diverts him that they were talking about the plants. She takes both of them inside.
The landline rings. Sagar picks it up. No one speaks from the opposite side. He realises that it is Gangaa. Say something. I know it’s you. Madhvi asks him how is he so sure? He says that he doesn’t know, but he is sure about this fact. Gangaa ends the call.
Sudha asks Gangaa to eat something as she will eat late in school. I know you don’t like the food that we get here, but for how long won’t you eat. 3-4 days? Gangaa replies that she won’t be staying here for that long. Sir and Madhvi will take me back real soon
Amma ji has made up her mind. I won’t let Gangaa come back to this house ever. Gangaa and Sagar will have to become habitual of living separately.
In the school, Mrs. D’Souza explains the story of Krishna and Sudama to the girls. They both were from different backgrounds, yet they always stood by each other. Do any of you have such a friend? Gangaa smiles thinking of Sagar. Mrs. D’Souza notices her thus, but Gangaa answers in denial. Bulbul comments that she won’t have any friend. Reena calls Gangaa her friend. The class gets over. Reena asks Gangaa if she was thinking of Sagar? Gangaa nods. She says there is no point thinking about it. Sagar has forgotten me.
Sagar is trying his father’s number, but it is unreachable. I have to talk to him about Gangaa. Only he can help me in bringing Gangaa back to this house.
Niru is still in the hospital with the Doctor and the Police Inspector. Sagar finally is able to connect with him. Inspector goes to talk to Niru before Sagar can say anything to his father.
Sagar goes to the kitchen to get water. He notices the cake inside the fridge and gets happy. Amma ji and Madhvi are relieved to see him happy.
Reena and Gangaa are on their way back. Reena keeps talking about all what that happened in the day. Gangaa thinks of wishing Sagar Happy Birthday. I cannot even go to the house. Reena notices a cosmetics shop. She goes to buy bindi for her mother. Gangaa notices socks there. She recalls the day that Sagar was talking about the socks that easily got hidden in the wardrobe. Gangaa takes out the money that Madhvi used to give her every day. Bappa used to tell me that one should save money. They will come to use today. The socks cost Rs. 60. Gangaa only has Rs. 55. Please give me some discount. He agrees. Ha wraps it in a coloured paper for her on her askance. Reena is curious. Did he call you? How will you give it to him? Gangaa gets thinking.
Chaturvedi Sadan is fully decorated. Sagar comes downstairs. He quietly picks up the cake from the fridge and heads upstairs. Prabha looks wide-eyed at the decorations. She greets everyone. Yash is tempted by the food items. Prabha starts her drama, so Madhvi offers to celebrate Yash’s birthday in a similar grand way. Amma ji taunts Prabha and Madhvi indirectly.
The door bell rings. Sagar’s friends comes. Amma ji thinks how happy Sagar will be to see this surprise.
Sagar goes upstairs near the balcony. I want to be with you on my birthday. I will have to come in your style only. He makes a rope using the clothes and hangs it down the balcony. He takes the cake with him.
The kids rush to see the magician doing some tricks. Amma ji sends Mehri to bring the cake. She also shushes the kids. Make noise when Sagar enters. Pulkit ties a big balloon in the centre of the room while Maharaj ji goes to bring Sagar. Pulkit switches off the lights. Pulkit bursts the balloon, but it is only Maharaj ji who has come back. Amma ji asks him about Sagar? He shares that Sagar is not in his room. I searched the entire house. He is nowhere. Mehri announces that someone took the cake. Amma ji knows where Sagar will be.
Sagar is running on the streets.
Pishi Ma asks Gangaa if she is missing Sagar? She retorts that why should she miss him when he does not miss her? A lady informs her that Sagar is outside. She runs out to meet him. Pishi Ma jokes about what she was saying a second ago.
Sagar and Gangaa see each other and smile.
Gangaa turns her back to him. You didn’t stop me from leaving the house. Why are you here now? He asks her if she will get angry at him now? You are so stubborn. I have brought my birthday cake. Will you not ask me to cut it? Sagar cuts his birthday cake with Gangaa and the other widows of the Ashram. Pishi Ma and all the ladies wish him Happy Birthday. Gangaa and Sagar keep looking at each other. Pishi Ma understands it. She takes all the ladies with her to make preps for the evening puja (prayer). Gangaa feeds cake to Sagar. She runs to get his gift while he remarks that she won’t be remembering his birthday at all. How will she give him gift then? She keeps the gift back in her bag. You think like that? You only sent me here. He thinks of his dilemma. Will you not come home? She replies that she misses everyone. I will
come home when Sir is not angry with me anymore. I ruined his work. He does not trust me. I will come when he trusts me again. Sagar reasons that his Papa would have forgotten everything. I left my birthday party for you. I don’t know why I came here! She too tells him to go.
Maharaj ji comes there. He is surprised to find him there. Sudha tells Sagar that he didn’t do the right thing. Maharaj ji tells about the problem in the case. Solanki is also dead now. He was the sole witness of the case. Maybe he was murdered. He looks tensed as he has no proof or witness. How will he fight this case? Gangaa feels sad to hear that Sir is worried. Maharaj ji reprimands Sagar for running away without telling anyone. Sagar remarks that no one here is concerned. He leaves with Maharaj ji. Sudha shares the same with Pishi Ma. Gangaa suddenly runs out.
Gangaa stops Maharaj ji. Sagar asks her if she is fine with him now? She instead wants to talk to Maharaj ji. Will you do something for me? Maharaj ji nods.
Raghav ji and Niru discuss how to prove it that MLA was behind Solanki’s death. Gangaa and Maharaj ji reach there. She vouches to give statement against the goons. I saw that person. He shot that is why the stampede happened. Niru does not want to put her life at risk. She reminds him of his and her Bappa’s words. Never be afraid to speak the truth. Niru tells Raghav to list Gangaa’s name as the witness of the case. A Man overhears their convo. Gangaa is glad to know that Niru is not angry with her anymore. I can come home now. Niru nods. Today is Sagar’s birthday. Come. Gangaa thinks that she will be living with everyone in Chaturvedi House once again. The goon sits in the car and follows Niru’s car.
Sagar enters inside and looks at the preparations. Madhvi questions him on his whereabouts. Your friends left. Your Grandma is so sad as she made all these preps with love. Prabha too calls it wrong. Amma ji looks pointedly at Sagar. She asks Mehri to throw everything out as all the guests has left. Throw away the kheer too. Madhvi signals Sagar to talk to Amma ji. Sagar asks Amma ji not to do so. I love the kheer that you make. Will you keep me hungry on my birthday? Madhvi asks Mehri to bring kheer. I will feed my son. Sagar insists to eat only from his Grandma’s hands. Amma ji says you think of me now? You went to Gangaa. You could have asked her to make it and feed you. Sagar calls Gangaa arrogant. She cannot do anything. I won’t talk to her now. She finally gives in. She asks Madhvi to bring puja thaal (Prayer tray) to do Sagar’s aarti. Sagar thanks her for all the hard work that she has put in for him. Sorry that I upset you. Amma ji does Sagar’s aarti and then makes him eat kheer with her hands. She hugs him. You (Gangaa) think that you are too smart? Don’t ever think that I will give in to my grandson’s demands and you will be back here! You won’t be able to step your foot inside this house now!
Niru brings Gangaa back to Chaturvedi House. She stares at the house. The goon stops his car at a distance. Niru and Maharaj ji begin go in. The goon starts his car. Niru notices the approaching car when he turns to look at Gangaa. He shouts her name. Everyone inside hear him and rush out. Niru saves Gangaa in time. Everyone stands by Gangaa’s side as she looks all shaken up. Niru realises that it cannot be a coincidence. The other day the car was approaching me in a similar manner. Sagar is concerned for Gangaa. Niru connects the points. Solanki’s murder and now this attack on Gangaa! These are the same people! Pulkit suggests going inside to talk. Niru stops them. Gangaa will not stay with us. She may be in danger. It will be good if she stays away from us. She will be safe in the Ashram. You will have to stay there till this case ends. He takes Gangaa with him in the car. Sagar too wants to come, but Madhvi stops him. Gangaa looks at everyone’s faces. Amma ji looks relieved.
Sudha and the other ladies of the Ashram are shocked to know that people can stoop so low. Niru leaves them in their care. I know it is a very big responsibility but I cannot think of any other place at the moment. Don’t let her go anywhere alone, not even school. Gangaa asks about school? He says it is just a matter of few days. Sudha finds it a little risky as Gangaa’s life is at stake because of the case. A lady takes Gangaa inside. Niru and Gangaa keep looking at each other. Niru too is worried for Gangaa. I won’t take her to court till I am sure about her safety. I am scared, what if something happens to her on the way? Being a father, I will not want anything wrong to happen to my kids. How can I take such a risk? Sudha says you said that they are keeping an eye on your moves. Won’t they know
you have brought her here? Niru still has a feeling that Gangaa will be safe here of all the places. Don’t let her go anywhere alone. Sudha assures him that they will all take very good care of Gangaa. Gangaa thinks that Sir shouldn’t give up because of her. I will surely give the statement. I will make amends for the mistake that I have made.
Niru speaks to the Commissioner about Gangaa’s security, but he has been transferred. He shares the same with Amma ji and Madhvi. The new Commissioner is MLA’s Man. Our security was also taken off. How will he support Gangaa? He has advised me not to mess with MLA, Srivastava. Sagar and Madhvi are worried for Gangaa as the matter has become really big. Niru assures Sagar that nothing will happen to Gangaa.
Amma ji is irked with Gangaa. She has brought so many problems in our life, but my son can see nothing. I have been asking him to leave the case. Sagar calls Gangaa stubborn too. She gave the CD to the goons. She had made up her mind to help Papa. She has said that she will return here only when papa wins the case or she won’t ever come back here. Amma ji is glad to know this. She made my work easy.
