Gangaa enters inside. Amma ji and Madhvi are confused to see her dirty clothes and unkempt hair. Madhvi asks Gangaa how it happened. Maharaj ji, Sagar and Pulkit too comes there. Gangaa replies that her classmate threw her lunch away. I asked her why she disrespected my food? She pushed me. I also pushed her. This is how the fight started. Amma ji says you started fighting on the first day. Gangaa denies it. I didn’t do anything. She started it. Amma ji nods. You only are a saint in the whole world. What if the parents of that girl come here? I will stop her from going to school if she continues all this stuff! You (Madhvi) better explain it to her. Hope you don’t regret your decision of going to school. She cannot tolerate anything. She cannot keep quiet for even a second. Kids like her should be kept inside the house. Gangaa says I am saying the truth. That girl was troubling me a lot. She spoke rubbish. She is a bully. All the girls are scared of her. Sagar asks Gangaa if she fought the same way she fights with him? She retorts when he pesters her again. He wants to know what else happened in the school. She tells him that she pulled at her braids. I would have continued doing so if the peon hadn’t interrupted. She is older than me, but she scares everyone. Madhvi tells Gangaa that Amma ji was right. You didn’t do it right. Gangaa tries to say something when Sagar asks her if she will fight with his mother too? Gangaa reasons that she never fights for a wrong reason. Madhvi tells them a story about the saint who kept trying to pull the scorpion out of water, but he kept biting the saint. He didn’t change his nature and neither did the scorpion. If the other person is doing wrong, then we should not stop doing the right thing. There are better ways to show her you are right. Win them over by showing how good you are! You don’t have to use hands. Become a good example before them so they too can aspire to be like you. Gangaa understands her point. I won’t reply to Bulbul from now on. I will be good to her. But no one will support me as they are scared of Bulbul. Madhvi suggests her to win them with love too. The day they realise you are right, they will support you.
At night, everyone is having dinner. Omkar finishes dinner first and leaves. Gangaa comes there too. She tells Niru not to be angry. I won’t fight with anyone else after today! Pulkit suggests playing riddles. It’s been so many days. All the kids get excited. Gangaa remarks that she answers quickly, while a lot many people take a lot of time to answer (hinting at Sagar). Pulkit says a riddle. The kids get thinking. Sagar asks for a clue. Gangaa tells him to think on his own. Pulkit still says a clue. The answer is here on our table. Maharaj ji keeps more chapattis on the table. Sagar gives the right answer which makes Amma ji happy. Don’t say from now that only you (Gangaa) know everything. She retorts that she too would have replied quickly if her studies were as good as they teach in his school. NIru says it is good to raise questions if you have to increase your knowledge. Gangaa gets an idea. Teacher will have to answer if I ask her something. Niru nods. Asking questions will definitely yield answers. Amma ji is sure Teacher will do anything to avoid Gangaa’s numerous questions.
Gangaa finds Amma ji doing puja (Prayer). She prays in the morning, in the evening and right before sleeping. Why is it so? Amma ji finds her staring at her. Gangaa asks her the same question. What do you pray for daily? She prays for forgiveness for her mistakes. Amma ji takes her medicine. Gangaa wants to know why she eats these medicines. Why don’t you eat English medicines like others? Amma ji replies that it causes no side effects. She lies down to sleep, but Gangaa has another question. Why do you put tilak on your forehead? Amma ji instead tells her to sleep. Gangaa is only putting Sir ‘s(Niranjan) advice to use. Amma ji has to finally threaten her to make her switch off the light.
Next morning, Madhvi serves breakfast to Niru. Raghav ji comes there. MLA wants to meet Niru to discuss the case. Raghav goes back with the file. Pulkit joins them for breakfast and so does Omkar. The landline rings. Niru picks it up. The Man asks for Girish. Niru tries to ask him who he is, but Omkar takes the call saying it is my friend, Girish. Omkar goes aside to talk to the caller. It is the same kidnappers who had kidnapped Gangaa. The guys need money so they can escape from the city. Our work has been shut down. You got our area raided and we are money less now. Do it fast or I will tell your family members everything. Omkar agrees. Niru eyes him curiously when he returns. You look tensed? Is it something serious? Is there some problem? Amma ji too asks him the same. Omkar denies it. Everything is alright. My friend has come to Banaras from his town. He was asking me to come over. Teacher asks questions on GK. Gangaa thinks of answering, but Bulbul does it first. Gangaa adds that white colour means a widow (they ask about what the colours of the flag denote). The kids laugh at Gangaa. The Head Principal walks up to Gangaa. What is your name? Gangaa replies. She asks her about her answer. Gangaa shares that she is a widow. Amma ji says widows can only wear white. God gets angry otherwise. The Headmistress denies it. These rules have been made by the society and our ancestors. It isn’t written anywhere in the Constitution. White colour represents peace. This is why it has been included in our national flag. Our country wants to spread this message to the entire world. Since when have you been studying here? Gangaa says I came just now. The Headmistress her what she has learnt from the teachers? Gangaa answers honestly. Teacher makes us peel peas. The Head Principal eyes them sternly. Gunwanti tries to dismiss it. She says I was telling the kids the benefits of the seed. Gangaa calls it a lie. This isn’t what happened. The other teachers support Gunwanti. We do stuff through which the kids can understand it easily. Bulbul supports Gunwanti. All the kids support her. The Headmistress has anyways got many complaints about the food that’s sent for the kids. You have to take care of it too. These kids are our future. We have to give them right quality of nutritious food. The kids get excited. The Headmistress goes to check the other classes. Teachers look pointedly at Gangaa. Bulbul and Gangaa keep staring at each other.
Gangaa comes running inside the house. She tells them excitedly about what happened in the school. We studied too. I don’t have to take lunch as from tomorrow. Everyone will get good food there. She says Amma ji, I have helped you in cutting down your expenses. Amma ji mocks her cutely. Madhvi is going to the market. Gangaa too wants to go with her. I will help Madhvi or she will have to bring everything all by herself. Amma ji agrees. Change your dress first. Gangaa rushes to change. I will join you very soon. I know you are going in the neighbourhood. Amma ji is surprised at Gangaa’s enthusiasm.
Gangaa comes to the market and is looking around for Madhvi when she notices one of the guys who had kidnapped her. She says it’s the same man. I will tell Madhvi about it. She finally finds Madhvi. She takes her to the corner to show her the Man. He is the one who had kidnapped me. There was another guy with him. Madhvi thinks of calling Niru.
Pulkit tells his girlfriend that his father is meeting her father today for work. Hope they become friends? She nods. We don’t have to worry about our future then. He understands the point, but tries to ask her the reason intentionally.
Niru politely declines to take the case as MLA’s Brother-in-law has actually done the murder. MLA reminds him that he has signed the contract. The crime hasn’t been proved yet. You will work to prove him innocent. Niru cannot do such a thing after knowing the truth. MLA points out that he won’t be able to even fight the case from the other party’s side if he declines to fight on his behalf.
Madhvi is not able to reach Niru as he is busy in his meeting. She snaps his photo. The man calls Omkar to tell him that he is here (Where they are supposed to meet). The man turns to go. Gangaawants Madhvi to follow him, but she tells Gangaa that the police will do that. They are dangerous. Gangaa wonders what if that guy leaves this city? We must find out about his whereabouts at least. Madhvi refuses, so Gangaa herself runs after the man.
Madhvi runs after Gangaa in an attempt to stop her from going after the Man. She loses track of Gangaa after a while. Bulbul and her friends notice Gangaa coming there. Bulbul decides to teach Gangaa a lesson. She stands in Gangaa’s way. Gangaa tries to go, but she doesn’t let her. She says You insulted me before the principal. Now I will see who saves you. Gangaa requests her to let her go. I have some important work. You can fight with me later. Bulbul eyes the muddy road nearby. You got scared? She tries to drag Gangaa there along with her friends’ help, but Bulbul and her friends fall in the mud as they slip. Their clothes are all dirty. Bulbul is all the more angry with Gangaa now. All the people in the market stop by and look at them. Gangaa says sorry to them. I had no other option as you weren’t listening
to me.
Madhvi finds Gangaa and stops her. One has to use brains at times. They are very dangerous. You cannot get into all this. I have the photo. The guy won’t be able to go anywhere. Let’s go. I have to buy so many things. We will go to the Police station in the evening when Niranjan is back. Gangaa goes with her.
Mehri is irked that she has to do all the work all the time. She serves water to Sudha and Pishi Ma. Amma ji gives a few more instructions to Mehri. Amma ji asks Sudha what’s wrong with her? Madhvi remembers too buy oil. Gangaa notices both the goons. She points out to Madhvi. They are talking to someone. Madhvi tries to take Gangaa from there. Gangaa notices another guy who is talking to both the kidnappers. She pulls Madhvi to the corner so they can see the guy. Madhvi and Ganga are shocked to see Omkar there. Gangaa asks Madhvi if he kows these goons? Madhvi thinks that she had no idea he will stoop to this level. She makes a video of all The three of them. The goons are asking for more money. They threaten him of going to the police. Madhvi takes Gangaa with her.
Sudha tells everything to Amma ji. Amma ji is shocked.
Madhvi returns home and rushes to tell everything to Niru. She shows him the video.
Amma ji is short of words. She comforts a crying Sudha. Drishti had heard everything. She is standing outside the door.
