Jodha says to Menewati that this is her last night in Amer, so she shouldn’t worry, as she’s ready.
Maham Anga is addressing some forces (warriors) saying everybody should be prepared for anything. These Kings agreed for marriage but they can’t trust them. Jalal comes and says she cares for him a lot. Maham Agna says others also care for him. Jalal ask who? Maham Agna says he didn’t inform Maryam Bano and Ruqayia Begum. Jalal says not needed. He only wants to see their faces when one more queen comes into the harem.
Jodha offers prayer to the lord and she is dressed beautifully. Menewati halfheartedly makes her wear jewelry. Sukanya and the rest are crying. Jodha also has tears in her eyes. She caresses Sukanya. Menewati makes her wear her scarf and kisses her head. Jodha is leaving Amer and all are with her. Menawati comes with the Lord’s idol and gives it to Jodha, telling her to keep it forever. Jodha remembers her childhood. She does the ritual of hand prints. Jodha says she crossed this gate of Palace so many times against her Parents will, but today, it’s very difficult. She prays for Amer’s safety, for this Palace and her Parent’s safety.
Voiceover – the story of Jodha-Akbar which had to be written in history has started and it will join to entities. Here, Bhagwan das is ordering Servants to prepare and decorate everywhere on time. He says it’s Amer, so safety should be full proof.
Jodha sees the Mughal forces men and panics. She informs Bhagwan das. He says this can’t happen that she’s tired and that’s why she’s thinking like that. Jodha says Jalal came to know they are here. He denies it and ask her to rest. She says she’s not afraid of the Mughals but Jalal is very cruel, he must have come to know about this marriage as it is for Amer’s safety. Bhagwan das says after this marriage, Amer will be safe forever. She ask who the one who will behead Jalal’s name is? Bhagwan das says she shouldn’t talk like this and ask her to leave to rest.
Sujamal on the other hand, is in Saamgar for Jodha’s marriage and says he promised Jodha that he will safe Amer with his brothers, but couldn’t fulfill it, but now, he will fulfill his other promise and will hold Jodha’s marriage box(doli). A Soldier says the difficult box will go into Jalal’s tent. But sujamal is adamant. Sujamal says he will come back after this promise. He remembers Jodha’s bitter words and then Suryabhan.
Shariffudden brings the three Amer sons to Jalal. Jalal says to serve them good and take care of them as they are now friends, not prisoners. He says they are here so that can take part in Jodha’s marriage. They are confused. Jalal says their family is in Saamgar for his marriage and he ask Shariffudden to free them and to take them to Saamgar. He nods. Jalal says yesterday, they wanted to behead him, but now, they would bow down their heads in front of him!
Jalal is in the Jungle for sword practice. Shariffudden says whether it’s thunderstorm or anything else, he doesn’t forget his daily practice. Jalal says to be ready, he will do practice with him today. He hears some scream. Jalal goes to find the man. One person put sword on his neck. It his Maan Singh. He says he shouldn’t let an enemy free, as he can backfire. Jalal is impressed. Maan says he was practising here. Jalal tells him to kill him. He says he just wants to protect his Aunt (Jodha). Jalal ask if he knows who he is? He nods. Jalal looks at him and he leaves.
Bharmal is happy with the preparations and says hope everything goes well. Suddenly, the brothers that were Prisoners return back safely. Everyone is happy and delighted and greets them. They ask what’s all this? Bharmal says go take rest, they will discuss that later. Bhagwan das says Jodha doesn’t know about it. They ask what, and he informs them about her marriage. They says it’s fraud but Bhagwan das says he will explain to them better later.
Jodha comes and takes blessing from them. Sujamal in disguise is also there. They are all emotional. Jodha says he knew Bharmal will do something to save them for the goddess’s prayer (blessings) are with them. They do the prayer.
Menewati ask Grandma what will happen now, as Jodha will see Jalal and if she will do something against it? Grandma says there is one ritual – Thread Ceremony that says the bride and the groom can’t see each other before marriage. One man stares at them.
Here, the Priest is doing the prayer along with Jodha. Everybody is a little tensed. The Priest ties the knot on her hand.
Jalal is informed by that man that Jodha can’t see him before marriage. He says this is injustice and ask to inform them that he wants to see her before their marriage… he doesn’t care about their rituals!
Bharmal says Jalal wants to see Jodha. Grandma says but they did the Thread ceremony prayer, so this isn’t possible. He says it’s his order, as he wants to see her. He already made up his mind and they can do nothing to alter that. They think of something.
Jalal gets to Saamgar to see Jodha. He see that Halwai/seller (when he first came to Amer in disguise) who talked ill about him. He closes his eyes. Jalal smiles and pats him. He says Jalal pardoned him. Jalal with Maham Anga comes to the hall. All the Rajputs are also there. His welcome is grand. Bharmal greets them and ask to come in. One Rajput interrupts and says according to the ritual, the mother will first be welcomed, then he can come in.
Menewati with Grandma comes and Jalal smiles. Menewati remembers Shugani’s words and she has her head down and doesn’t look at Jalal at all. Someone tells him she wants to put tilak (a sectarial mark on the forehead) on his head. Maham Anga fumes as Jalal bows down, as she smilingly puts it on his head. She then remembers Jodha’s words to make her take revenge against Jalal. She does the rituals and Maham Agna isn’t at all happy. Jalal comes in and all welcomes him. He sees water tub and sees his face with tilak. He looks at Bharmal and says to start the face revealing ceremony. They oblige. Jodha comes in, in veil.
Voiceover – Jodha’s every step towards her future which she never thought of in her wildest dream. Their background song plays.
Akbar couldn’t stop smiling. Jodha sits in front of him. Maham Anga comes and ask Akbar to get up. Jodha and Akbar gets up and see their faces in the water tub. Their song plays in the background.

Jodha remembers the ganghaur meeting. Jalal says Subhanallah, God made her in very leisure time. Jodha is hell shocked. Breeze is high and her veil comes off and she looks at Jalal smiling. She remembers Jalal’s cruelty and her promise that she will behead him and when she places Suryabhan’s sword on his neck. She looks at Bharmal, then Jalal’s face pans on them. Jodha is fuming while Jalal is smiling. She runs away from there. Jalal smiles the more, broadly this time, as he’s very happy. Jodha is running from the hallway and comes to her room. She remembers Bharmals words to accept this marriage for Amer and their sons safety. Then Sujamal’s words. She remembers every moment. She puts her hands on her head and she’s shivering badly. She takes out her diamond ring and she’s about to eat it when Menewati comes and stops her. Jodha says she hid this from her. Her marriage with Jalal, what’s her fault, they all knew about it! She thought she was marrying the one that will save Amer, but she’s marrying Amer’s biggest enemy. She ask Bharmal him too? Everyone is crying. Jodha looks up and runs from there too.
Bharmal stops Menewati and says don’t stop her. Bharmal says he doesn’t know whether Jalal didn’t like Jodha’s reaction and wonders what would happen now?
Maham Anga says she can’t believe the bride runs away seeing the India King! Jalal speaks in favour of Jodha, saying she didn’t know she was marrying him. Maham Anga says now, what Jalal says will fulfill her promise.
Bharmal and Bhagwan das are tensed about what Jalal’s reaction towards Jodha’s action would be? Maham Anga and Shariffudden comes. They greet them and Bharmal ask why they are here? Maham Anga says they are here to give Jodha gifts that was halted by her earlier on. They put down the gifts which really includes diamonds and golds. Bharmal says this much? Maham Anga says he is India’s King. Maham Anga says Jalal’s wish is that Jodha should accept the Marriage (Nikkah) dress with her own hands. They all panic as Menewati goes to bring her. She comes to Jodha. Jodha jerks her hand off and says she never hides anything from her, but what she did is beyond her comprehension, at least, Bharmal is the King, and he did that for his Kingdom, but she is her mother, so why her? Menewati says she is her mother, but also the King’s wife and queen. Jodha ask so she wants her…? Menewati says that it’s not the question. The question is what about Bharmal’s promise? What about his pride? What about Amer? She informs her that her in-laws are waiting outside for her and says everything is in her hand. Jodha looks at her. Menewati says to Jodha that her in-laws are waiting for her to accept the gift. Jalal didn’t mind when she ran off, but now, everything is in her hand. Jodha wipes her tears and gets up to meet them.
Outside, everyone is waiting. Jodha comes all dressed up. Maham Anga and all looks on. Maham Anga gets up and says curtly, that this dress is for her to wear for her marriage (Nikkah). Maham Anga says if the tailor tries to make another dress like this, he will loose his hand! Jodha fumes seeing all the gifts and she remembers the Mughal soldiers had stolen the goddess’ jewellery and accepts the dress, but turns around and put it on fire and all are shocked. Maham Agna tries to blow off the fire, and takes the dress. She says she will relay the message to Jalal!
