It’s bedtime. Roshni is on the bed while Sid is on the Couch 🛋 by the window.
Roshni thanks him for helping her and his Mum win today. She says he’s the best! Sid doesn’t respond. He’s busy on the Laptop. She keeps calling him, then he turns around and takes out earplugs from his ears, telling her that he tries to block out the sound he hears at night. He asks what she was saying? Roshni tells him never mind! She angrily turns off the light and tries to sleep. He smiles and also sleeps.
They hear a squeaking sound.
Sid turns on the lights and Roshni screams when she sees a Mouse in her bed. Sid is also sacred of the Mouse, so they both huddle in a corner of the room.
Grandma comes to their room with Raj and Simran and ask what happened? They point at the Rat. Grandma sees the Mouse. She says they have grown up to the age of bearing Children and they are afraid of rat, and tells them it’s just a Mouse.🐀 She shoos the mouse off.
Sid and Roshni continue shouting. Grandma asks them to stop and says she will sleep with Roshni. Roshni says she got Cold😷 and her infection will spread to her. Raj takes Grandma from there.
When everyone leaves the room. They both sleep again. Roshni teases Sid about being scared of the Mouse too. He says he was only acting. She screams and he jumps thinking the Mouse returned.
she laughs at him.
Next Morning at breakfast, Grandma tells Roshni to invite her family to the party. She tells Roshni not to get involved in the preparation because the party is for her, so Simran will do all the cooking. Roshni says she will help Simran. Simran says she does not need her help!
Sid comes down, but says he can’t stay for breakfast because he has an appointment.
Grandma tells him about the party.
Sid says he won’t be able to make it, as he has an important meeting.
Rajveer says it’s his Wife’s party, and he should attend! Grandma taunts him and says he’s very lucky to be a live-in Son-in-law, so he should enjoy the lavishiness and asks him to have his food instead of interrupting! Rajveer and Krutika get angry. Simran consoles them.
Grandma orders Sid to attend. He leaves. Grandma taunts Rajveer again to enjoy his free food! She asks Roshni to invite her family. Roshni reminisces telling DD if she does not apologize, she will not come to her house again, and tells Grandma her Mom won’t come. Raj asks her to call her Grandmother and Aunt. Roshni nods yes.
DD tells her Mother and Mona that she’s not going for the party!
Grandmother says she’s very eager to attend. She asks Mona if she will join her? DD looks at the two of them, but they ignore her.
Sam enters the room and Grandmother asks where she is going so early in the Morning? Sam tells them she’s going shopping, then she will go and get her Visa for Shanghai.
When she leaves, DD says She’s still not comfortable with the job Sam is doing.
Roshni goes to the Kitchen and offers to help Simran who is Cooking. Simran gets irked and calls the Servants, but Roshni tells her they are not available. She starts helping and tells Simran that she knows She’s still angry at her, but she won’t go even if she pushes her out and continues the Cooking. Simran remembers what Raj told her about Roshni becoming the beloved daughter-in-law again.
Mona and Roshni’s Grandmother arrive for the party. Mona sadly tells this was their house once.
Sid’s Grandmother receives them. Roshni’s Grandmother asks her to forgive them for their earlier mistake. Grandma says what mistake and to forget the past. She asks where is her daughter Durga Rani? Roshni’s Grandmother says Durga Devi. She then asks where is Meena’s daughter, Upma? Naani says it is Mona and Pratima, and Mona’s daughter’s name is Sam. They all sit on the Sofa.
Roshni and Raj come out to greet them.
Roshni’s Grandmother gives Sid’s Grandmother a gift and Sid’s Grandmother says it should be given to Roshni because Roshni has made the family very proud.
They all hear Krutika and Rajveer arguing and Roshni goes to the Kitchen to check.
Krutika tells Rajveer to help her with the tray and Rajveer asks if he looks like the servant! Roshni offers to help her. Rajveer walks out.
Roshni drops her Phone and help Krutika carry a tray to the living room.
Rajveer enters the Kitchen and picks the Phone. He enters the bathroom to call Yash then plays a recording of Roshni screaming. He tells himself that the plan worked out!
The Mouse of the night before was placed by Krutika, so Roshni would scream and they could record her voice! Rajveer tells himself that Yash will come and save Roshni and he will be the final reason she gets sent out of the house!
Sid is in an Office building. He sees Mr Badeja and overhears him talking about settling in China for a while.
Samaira comes and Mr Badeja introduces her to his friend.
Sam tells him their Visa will be ready in 2 days. He tells her that soon, they will start a new life.
Sid tells himself that the Old Man will just hurt Sam and he can’t allow it.
Grandma grees her neighbour/rival lady in, and ask her to hold the trophy to get a feel of winning. Jealous lady holds trophy and acts as being happy. Another neighbour tells her that the Gurjati daughter-in-law did wonders by winning in Punjabi competition.
Krutika calls everyone for dinner. She tells them all to proceed to the balcony for dinner. The women all go move to the balcony.
Krutika tells Roshni to call Sid since it’s obvious she misses him.
Roshni says she can’t find her Phone.
Krutika tells her to check her room.
Roshni goes to the room.
Rajveer quickly locks her in.
Roshni tries to open the door.
Yash arrives and Rajveer turns off the power. Yash hears Roshni calling from her room.
On the balcony, Sid’s Grandmother and her guests are complaining about the dark due to the power cut.
Rajveer comes there and purposely pushes one of the ladies and she spills wine on her body in the process.
Grandmother tells him to take her to the bathroom to clean up!
Krutika offers to take her and others who also says they want to use the bathroom.
Inside the house, Roshni slips and falls down but gets up. Yash follows the sound of Roshni’s plea and opens the door to her bedroom.
It’s dark so he trips and both of them fall on the bed.
Krutika brings the ladies to Roshni’s room. Rajveer turns back the power.
The Women shout and ask what Roshni is doing with another Man in her room!
Roshni is horrified.
Sid’s Grandmother and everyone else comes to see what’s going on.
Roshni says it’s not what it looks like, someone locked the door from outside, then the light went off and she couldn’t find her Phone.
The lady who wanted her daughter-in-law to win the Competition over Roshni says Yash is the same guy who came on the day of the Competition! She asks Sid’s Grandmother if she won’t say anything now about her beloved Roshni?
Roshni says it’s a misunderstanding.
Yash says Roshni called him and screamed on the Phone. Roshni says she didn’t call.
The Woman continues to taunt Grandmother over Roshni’s behaviour calling Roshni Characterless!
Yash tells her she has said enough!
He says Roshni hasn’t done anything like that and for her information, Roshni has never done anything that is immoral!
Raj tells all of them to listen, he considers Roshni his daughter and knows she won’t do anything to put their family to shame.
Simran says he’s blinded by the truth and he has supported Roshni for too long; this is her house, and not a lodge that anyone will come, enjoy here and leave! She has decided that Roshni has to leave her Son forever!
Raj says they can’t do that because of what the Court ordered.
Simran says not even the Court would support Roshni’s behaviour, so if they want to purnish her for throwing Roshni out, she will tolerate it!
Grandmother asks what the Court has to do with anything? Raj tries to calm her down, but she leaves for her room.
Simran tells Roshni she has caused them enough problems; she has been wearing a mask and deceiving them.
Roshni begs but Simran tells her to leave her Son and family alone!
Roshni’s Grandmother begs Simran, but Simran tells her to take Roshni away!
Sid’s Grandmother is in her room, thinking of Roshni, from how she touched her feet, to her giving her the family bangles, and Roshni winning the Competition and gets sad.
She stares at the trophy then flings it in anger. She remembers Roshni’s speech when she won the Competition.
Raj comes in and tells her that Roshni is not that type of Woman.
Grandmother asks what he’s hiding from her about the Court!
Simran throws Roshni’s suitcase and all her jewellery out. She tells her she will always be reminded that she cheated on her Son! Rajveer smirks.
Roshni’s Grandmother tells her to stop because Roshni was set up and she doesn’t know who did it.
She says there is a snake in the house and Simran should worry about that. She points at the rival neighbours and says these people added oil to the fire. She says she had always told Roshni to take care of her in-laws but not anymore, because they don’t deserve a good daughter-in-law like Roshni! She tells Roshni it’s time to leave.
Roshni says she’s not going anywhere, she will fight her battle and she will wait till Sidharth comes back home. She tells Simran if she wants to beat her, she can, but she will not go until Sid comes. She begs Yash to take her Grandmother and Aunt home.
