Jashoda gets ready, Meet walks in and says I got henna for you. Jashoda says Gunvanti I want to ve alone for sometime. Gunvanti leaves. Jashoda calls Meet near her and says you gave me my husband back, only you have right to apply this henna on my hand. Meet applies henna on Jashoda’s hand. Meet asks her, have you considered me as daughter now. Jashoda says I don’t understand all this, I have just given birth to boys, I don’t understand what daughter is, you were here to fight build factory, then why didn’t you go.
Meet says to her, when a girl gets married she can fight whole world with her family and that is what I want to do and I guess I have reached your heart atleast. Meet says I just want your blessings and I will fight all the hurdles.
Jashoda asks Meet, what will happen even if I accept you a husband a male is a Women’s identity, also Manmeet hates you, he will throw you out from here some day, for sometime let’s keep this all aside, tell me will you two ever love each other, never. I have waited 24 years for him and want to give him all the happiness and Shagun is Manmeet’s happiness, I want someone for my son who will do anything for my son and you won’t do that for son and so how do I accept you?
Jasodha leaves the room.
Manmeet in his room remembers Bapu Sarkar asking him to leak Meet’s video. Shagun standing behind Manmeet with clothes in her hand remembers Bapu Sarkar telling her Manmeet falling towards Meet. Shagun walks to him and looks at his Kurta and says this suits you very well, this is same kurta which came from Meet’s house, I remember this very well her Mother gave this to you as shagun. Manmeet says I was looking to wear something I saw this and wore it.
Shagun says how don’t you remember this is from Meet’s house, today you are wearing this tomorrow you will say she was standing close to me so I started loving her. Manmeet says ate you mad or what saying anything and try to walks away. Shagun holds his hand stop him and says I’m unable to handle myself, do anything just remove her from our life and if you are unable to do anything kill me, try to understand I can’t see you with her.
Manmeet doing knot tying of Sarkar and Jasodha. The Priest begins with the ritual. Gunwanti says to Sapna, Meet is very different from others no one cares about her in this house but still she fought for Mother and she always says this is her family. Sapna says you are right she did what she said.
Mahendra listened to everything and says Meet is making her space in this house inside women and changing roles and regulations and she is trying to erase our identity, he walks away. Suddenly, Mahendra switch off electricity and plays video of Sarkar and Jasodha on projector and suddenly Meet and Inspector Bhati video start playing. Everyone is shocked after seeing the video. Lights switches on.
Shagun walks to Meet and slaps her says this is your reality celebrating holi with your lover, everyone can see Meet is having and affair with Inspector Bhati, she says to Manmeet you did great by taking this video or else she would be playing game with everyone. A man says Sarkar was telling truth about her character. Gunwanti also scolds Meet for her behaviour and says why are you with Manmeet when you like inspector Bhati.
Meet walks to Manmeet and asks did you shot the video. Manmeet hesitate and answer yes when I was angry on you during holi time. Shagun says to Manmeet you don’t need to give explanation, she show divorce papers to and says you can show this video in court as evidence yo take divorce from Meet.
Sarkar remembers Shagun telling him about Manmeet’s situation. Sarkar says I have a way but you have to follow that path alone and tell her about the video and asking her to leak that video in front of everyone.
Bhati says now I understood it was Manmeet’s plan he asked me to go back side of the house and Meet you fall down because it was the part of his plan so that he can record everything and use it as evidence against you in court for divorce. Meet slaps Manmeet in anger and walks away. Shagun asks Manmeet are you alright. Manmeet doesn’t answer her back.
Meet outside the house is crying, she remembers what Shagun said to her.
Sarkar and Manmeet walks to Meet. Sarkar says my son Manmeet love his family a lot, whatever he did was for his family and for that I accepted her mother and in return he ruined your character, today whatever happened was nothing real thunder will come tomorrow when in court her will ruin you character and reputation again.
Sarkar looks at Manmeet and says I want her reputation to be ruined infront of media and civilians so that everyone remembers and this news should be circulated among few more villages so that no women can dare to stand alone, tell me will you do this much for your father. Manmeet nods his head yes. Sarkar says good if you would have said no, I would have failed to identify you as my son. Manmeet says I cannot lose you and he walks inside.
Manmeet in his room. Meet walks to him says everytime you betrayed me I said nothing but what you did today has changed my perspective for you, you are just like others, you are the worst. Manmeet says good if we are getting freedom from each other after all you are not like other women who can do chores inside house because you want to work outside the house, you defeated me in wrestling so in anger, I made your video.
Meet says you have ego on being man and having strength so why didn’t you fight like one, by making video and using fake excuse has made you coward, if you want freedom from me then why didn’t you let me die at least, I would die in misunderstanding that you are a good human, you killed me alive I hate you. Manmeet says that’s good you hate me because earlier also we didn’t love each other and my dad is everything for me I’ll do as he asked me to do and he walks away. Meet is alone in the room crying.
Meet is sitting alone outside the house crying and remembers what Shagun said to Manmeet about her. Jasodha walks to Meet with glass of juice, she keeps it for her says have it when you feel like, I know whatever happen today was wrong, a girl biggest treasure is her character and you didn’t left any way for my son, how many times I have asked you to leave, I even gave you what you want but you don’t understand that my son doesn’t love you, I have one way Sarkar wants to destroy your character tomorrow in Court and you know my son listen to his father, he even joined hands with his enemy for his father so think one time when his father will command him tomorrow to destroy your character he can go to any extent. I owe you because you saved my marriage she gives her the divorce papers and ask her to sign it and leave, I’ll tell everyone you left at least, your character will be safe.
Meet remembers Sarkar asking Manmeet to ruin her reputation in Court. Meet tears the divorce papers and throws it. Meet says if I’ll sign these papers and leave everyone will think I was wrong. Jasodha says try to think with your brain you won’t be able to handle the situation tomorrow in court. Meet says tomorrow we will get to know the character of your son, I want to see to what extent can he go to destroy my character.
Sarkar, Mahendra, Manmeet outside court. Gunwanti, Jasodha and Shagun also join them. Mahendra says this is first time I’m seeing all the media outside court I’m sure Manmeet will ruin her reputation. Meet walks inside the court.
People protest against Meet outside court. Inspector Bhati says I’ll go with you inside. Meet says no someone else might need your help outside, don’t waste your time. Bhati says how will you go inside everyone is angry on you. Meet says you think I’m scared of false accusations. Bhati wish her luck.
A woman disrespect Meet. Meet walks to her says till now court has not given it’s verdict and you have decided already and walks inside building. Shagun says my and Manmeet’s bright future is waiting let’s go.
Everyone is inside the court. Mahendra says to the Judge that Meet is characterless and have affair with someone else. Meet says to Judge I want to hear same thing from Manmeet. Mahendra says to judge I have and video to show you before Manmeet says anything, he give pendrive to a person to play video. Mahendra asks him what happen. He says there is some technical issue. Meet get’s up and have a glass of water.
Shagun walks to Meet and says in sometime you will get divorce and soon me and Manmeet will get together and she suggest her to go out from backdoor because everyone standing at front door is ready to take your life, I suggest you to leave this town. Meet says I am the daughter of a martyr, won’t run away and you don’t need to worry about me, think about your man he might win the case but he won’t be able to stand infront of me. Manmeet hear everything walks out of court.
Meet sit at her place. Mahendra asks judge to watch the video. Mahendra says because of her our reputation is ruined. Meet says this is lie. Judge says objection your will be given chance to speak. Sarkar asks where is Manmeet. Sarkar says to Meet my son is still with me that’s why he is quite. Judge says Manmeet can get divorce because of this video. Manmeet walks in with many people. Manmeet apologies to judge and says I’m sorry to walk in with many people but before you give your verdict I need to tell the truth about the video, this video is a lie, this video is edited so that it looks like Inspector Bhati and Meet is having an affair, I shot that video to take the divorce from her, Meet’s character is clear. Sarkar shouts what nonsense are you saying tell the truth.
Manmeet says your blood run inside me and nobody can scare it, I’m telling truth. Shagun walks to Manmeet says why are you doing this. Manmeet says you area girl and you are falsely accusing her as characterless, what do you think after this our life will be happy think one time if this village have accused you would you be able to handle it. Gunwanti walks to Manmeet says you still have chance to change your statement. Manmeet says how can I change a man is of his words then how can I do that. Mahendra says don’t ruin your life because of her respect.
Manmeet says everyone has respect. Sarkar says think last time if you supported her we both will not be related to each other. Manmeet joins his hand says I’m not against you nor I’m supporting her, my principles came between because whatever happening is not correct. The Judge asks Manmeet tell me last time, is this video fake.
Manmeet says this video is fake I edited this video so that I can get divorce from her, her character is clear like glass I apologize to everyone and I brought people standing outside so that they also get to know the truth, it’s my fault please forgive me. Manmeet walks to Meet says this is first time in my life I’m bowing down infront of someone else, I didn’t recognize how low I have fallen down, you won again, I’m sorry it won’t happen again. The Villagers apologizes to Meet.
Manmeet says to Meet, he made a mistake and won’t repeat and apologize. Sarkar leaves in anger. Shagun in tears leaves.
Jasodha smiles at Manmeet and leaves.
Meet says to Manmeet, a father loses hope when he losses his most capable sons support, he needs you go. Manmeet says before that I have to do something more important. Manmeet holds Meet’s hand and walks out. Everyone praises Meet and little girls call Meet their Hero. Meet asks Manmeet what is all this? Manmeet says your self respect and reputation was ruined because of me and I will fix it. The Girls felicitate Meet.
Sarkar is angry seeing all this. Jasodha smiles looking at Meet.
Everyone applauds for Meet.
