It’s Shlok and Sumeet’s Haldi ceremony. Ammaji looking after the arrangements. Poonam asks Ammaji is everyone ready, the haldi ceremony is about to start. Sumeet gets ready and joins the festivities downstairs.
Raj feels emotional seeing Sumeet and expresses his pride in her. Raj and Priyanka place a forehead ornament on Sumeet together, and Sumeet playfully teases them as they get lost in each other. She also asks Pankhuri to help grind the turmeric since she’s married too, without revealing her separation from Sarthak.
Shlok, however, comes out of his room and expresses irritation towards the loud noises from the ceremony. He complains about needing to record a song urgently and asks for Sumeet’s assistance. Poonam asks him if something is wrong, and Shlok explains that the noise is making it hard to record his song. Anju playfully teases him, suggesting that the main reason for his mood is the anticipation of meeting his bride. Ammaji reminds him that he can’t see Sumeet until the wedding.
Sumeet requests Poonam to allow her to speak with Shlok, promising not to reveal her face to him. Unable to record his song, Shlok is grateful when Sumeet arrives. She tells him not to look at her and helps him record his song in the dimly lit room as she plays the drum nearby.
Shlok sings beautifully and reminisces about his moments with Sumeet while singing “Main Akhiyan.” Sumeet applauds him and encourages him to sing in front of a music producer even in her absence. She tells him that when he performs on stage, he’ll have millions of fans. Shlok assures her that regardless of the number of fans he has, she’ll always be the most important person in his life. He playfully asks for a good luck kiss through the curtain, and Sumeet obliges.
Afterward, Shlok gives the recorded song to the producer, and Sumeet prays for his meeting to go well. The producer praises Shlok’s voice and offers him an advance payment of 30,000. Shlok comes home and meets a jeweler who shows him a 3,000,000 diamond necklace. Raunak taunts Shlok for his financial situation, but Shlok assures him that he will now fulfill all of Sumeet’s needs.
Meanwhile, Shagun approaches the music producer and offers international rights for the music market in exchange for canceling his deals with Shlok. Shlok pays the 30,000 as an advance for the diamond necklace, determined to provide for Sumeet’s desires. Sumeet drops a plate of halwa (sweet) but hopes everything is alright.
Shlok tells Sumeet about his successful meeting, where the producer promised to launch him through his company. The Chowdhury family celebrates Shlok’s achievement when suddenly, someone in a veil knocks on the door claiming to be Kanchan from their ancestral village, there to bless them.
Dadi welcomes her as she is from her village. However, it’s revealed that this is Shagun, aiming to ruin the occasion. Rajiv praises Tauji for a creative idea of using a toy car for the haldi ritual. Shagun distracts him by throwing a plate and sneaks something into the haldi (Turmeric).
Shlok secretly holds Sumeet’s hands and tries to be romantic. Anju and Rajiv bring the haldi, and Dadi asks Poonam to start the ritual. Shagun believes her drama will soon unfold, and a terrible omen strikes when a dead Snake is found in the haldi bowl. Sumeet tries to keep things positive and reassures everyone that they’re together and happy.
The Guests blame Anju and Rajiv, thinking they aren’t professional wedding planners. Shagun anticipates more chaos as the family members start to fight.
Rajiv and Tauji are on the verge of arguing, but Sumeet and Shlok manage to defuse the situation. Sumeet finds a silver lining in the mishap, as she gets to grind the turmeric herself for Shlok. She wonders how the Snake ended up in the haldi (Turmeric).
As they continue, Shlok gets close to her and playfully encourages her to embrace a star wife’s lifestyle with demands. Sumeet, however, values their togetherness more than material possessions and expresses her happiness by hoping for Shlok’s successful stage performance.
Their conversation is interrupted when Anju bursts into tears, upset about the wedding preparations. She tells Rajiv that they dreamed too big and now feel like it’s their first and last wedding planning job. Sumeet asks Shlok if he’d give up singing if the producer rejects his song. Shlok is determined not to let that happen since he has put everything at stake.
Tauji notices a bad smell, and Shlok identifies it as formalin. They realize the same odor was coming from the person in the veil, Kanchan. Sumeet has an idea to uncover the truth. She suggests feeding sweets to the guests, starting with Shagun. However, Shagun refuses to eat, claiming she smells formalin in the custard.
In a flashback, it’s revealed that Sumeet, with Akki’s help, discovered that Kanchan was actually Shagun in disguise. Shlok confronts Shagun about how she entered their house. The family insists that Shagun leave, and the turmeric ritual for Shlok and Sumeet continues happily.
Even Raj and Priyanka enjoy dancing together, and Raj applies turmeric to both Shlok and Sumeet. Shagun calls the music producer to inform Shlok about breaking their contract, convinced that Shlok’s career will suffer, leading to a strain in their relationship.
Akki and Sumeet are together. Sumeet asks Akki where you are taking me. Akki guides her into a room, where she realizes Shlok is present. She’s about to remove her blindfold but Shlok stops her, says you always understand me, what I want, what I like and what I want but you never asked me anything, so he removes her blindfolds and surprises her with a valuable diamond necklace, and the family members enter the room, scolding Shlok for meeting Sumeet before the ritual.
Shlok explains that he’s about to sign a new song contract and wanted to thank Sumeet for making it possible.
Pankhuri notices the diamond necklace and playfully teases Shlok. She mentions that he has never gifted anything, and Poonam has been talking about terrace repairs, which he hasn’t done. Dadi thinks it’s fine for Shlok to spend on Sumeet, and Priyanka suggests giving them privacy.
Once the others leave, Sumeet talks to Shlok about their responsibilities and asks him not to overspend just because they got an advance. Shlok informs her that he’s already signed the contract and wants her not to compromise on anything. Sumeet questions what’s making him think this way, and Shlok believes she’d be happy, but she seems to be complaining instead.
