Sarla comes into the house saying that she has lit all the candles, Janki is looking at her, she explains that she is looking very nice to see that Sarla is happy, Sarla says that she is very happy that Preeta has moved on, Shrishti comes exclaiming that she will not talk with her anymore, Bi jee also comes out saying that she is in a fight with all of them, she explains that she is cheating in the card games, Sarla also tries to tease Bi jee, then she asks her about Preeta to which Shrishti explains that she has wemt to collect the appointment letter, Janki says that she is telling a lie and Preeta is elsewhere.
Sarla thinks that she might be in the Luthra house so asks Shrishti to bring the cell phone, she then asks her to stay back, as she doesn’t trust her, since she might tell Preeta what excuse to make, then Janki is sent to collect the phone.
Kartika seeing the marks responds that they are the same as when a bride comes to her new house for the first time, Kareena looks angrily at her, She asks Preeta why she came here?? Karan explains that he brought her here to assist eith Mahira. Kareena asks Kartika to take Mahira to her room, she also asks Preeta for her help, they both take her to the room, Mahira explains that she has also gotten a back pain, then Preeta runs to get the bag, explaining that it’s because she has suffered burning wounds.
Kareena is very tensed and walking with Karan’s Grandma, she explains that Rishab has never talked with her in such a manner and even Karan never misbehaved with her, she now wants to do something to make Preeta leave Karan’s life, she plans to get him married! Karan’s Grandma says that she told her this, but she doesn’t know how she will find the partner, but Kareena says that she has found a match for him.
Karan is in his room, he is drinking wine thinking that he will forget everything that has happened with him and Preeta, he tries to forget, but ends up thinking of her, he then gets angry at himself, when he is constantly thinking of just her.
Mahira asks Kartika how Preeta is so nice? She feels Preeta is very nice and Karan did such a horrible thing to her. Kartika explains that Preeta is nice and was loved by everyone, but certain things have happened that has changed everything, creating differences that cannot be filled.
Karan is walking thinking that Preeta cannot overpower him, as he hates her because every time he sees her, it causes anger which cannot be explained. Preeta and Karan cross paths when she is going to get a hot water bag. They both try to avoid each other, she tries to walk away, but about to fall, he catches her on time, and they both think of the past moments spent with each other. Karan asks Preeta to stop, he goes to her, asking that she never wears heals, as he won’t be there to help her, she also responds that she does not need his help in saving her! Preeta also leaves very angrily from the hall.
Shristi calls up Preeta. Janki brings the phone call, Sarla asks her to put the phone on speaker, Shrishti explains that she is telling the truth, Sarla is however not convinced, but Shrishti asks Bi jee to scold Sarla if she asks Shrishti to do any work.
Preeta is in the Luthra house kitchen when she gets the call from Srishti. Shrishti asks Preeta if she got the appointment letter? Preeta explains that it will take some time, but when she asks where she is? Preeta says the truth is that she is at her in-law’s place, this leaves Sarla baffled. Shrishti asks if she is joking with her, because she’s in a fight with her, but Preeta explains that she is indeed telling the truth.
Preeta is alone in the room, Shrishti comes asking if Preeta wants to say anything to her or if she has something on her mind? She asks why did Preeta go to the Luthra house? Preeta explains that she never wanted to, but had to because of some situation, she says that she got the appointment letter at the hotel, and she has gotten the job at the cricket association.
Shrishti explains that she will also meet Karan there as well. Preeta explains that when she went to the hotel, Karan was also there with Mahira and she burned her hand, while trying to light a cracker. Shrishti asks what did they say on the Karva Chaut day when she left running? Preeta remembers that he apologized to her that he broke her fast, but it should have been the right of her husband, Preeta remembers that she wanted him to apologize to her for his mistake, but he only did that for breaking her fast, and she also came with the other dancers when she left the house.
Shrishti explains that she felt they would have talked, since he knew that she kept the fast for him. Preeta denies it and makes Shristi promise her to never let Karan realize that she kept the fast for him. They both hug each other. Janki comes explaining that Sarla is ill, so they should go meet her.
Kareena is in her room, thinking of what Preeta said that she doesn’t need her advice on how to deal with Karan. Karan’s Grandma comes asking the reason she is so angry? Kareena explains that she never liked Preeta coming into their home, but Karan’s Grandma also started to like her, yet she (Kareena) was proved to be right about her, and she still tried to be steadfast, but she’s unable to understand how Preeta became Karan’s Wife. She explains that she did everything for the house, giving her entire life to it, she says that she wants to throw Preeta out of Karan’s life. Karan’s Grandma explains that Preeta is already out of their lives, they both vow to throw Preeta out of their lives!
Preeta and Shrishti both go to meet Sarla at her bed, she is lying there, they check to see that she has a severe fever, Preeta and Janki go to get the medicine. Sarla calls Shrishti to come near her, she explains that daughters are like a bird, they leave when they get older, who knew that something so awful would happen to Preeta, she choose Prithvi for her daughter, but she got married to Karan instead, then they both start to cry. Sarla promises to stop crying, as this would further increase her tensions.
Sherlyn ask Prithvi of the time, She explains that she doesn’t know if Rishab has even called her. Prithvi asks how much longer she will remain in the house, she explains that she would remain there until they get the papers, and she would have gotten them if Mahesh hadn’t interfered, but now, there is no one to stop them and even Rakhi is out of town, so they have nothing to worry about, as she would call him really soon, informing him of the good news regarding the property papers.
Karan walk by the Kitchen where he sees Mahira, he asks her why she’s in the Kitchen? She explains that she is hungry, he asks why she hasn’t eaten at all? She shows the wounds, he explains that he will make her eat the food, he takes out the food, explaining that he has also gotten really hungry before, he gives her the food, while telling her of how Rishab used to pamper him whenever he got an injury, so he started to pretend that he got injured, even when it was just a bruise. Mahira gets lost in the moment.
Sameer is walking when he sees how Mahira is looking at Karan, he vows to not let any girl come near Karan, as Karan is Preeta’s husband!
