Karan begins to dance with Preeta but nobody realises his feelings behind this. After the dance, Karan asks Preeta if she loves him and asks her if she is sure about their marriage? Karan leaves the dance halfway and walks away from the dance floor.
Meanwhile, Roxy regains consciousness when Natasha manages to spill water on him. He then unties Natasha and they plan to kill Preeta to prevent being exposed.
Preeta follows Karan and tells him that she wants to talk to him in person. She then goes to talk to Rishabh about it. She tells Rishabh that she will wish Karan their Wedding Anniversary and asks Rishabh to come there in a few minutes.
Natasha and Roxy accidentally stop Prithvi from killing Karan but later team up with him for a devious plan.
Preeta is eager to talk to Karan in person to wish him their Wedding Anniversary. She asks Rishabh to come see them after she is done talking to Karan as they intend to expose Natasha.
Meanwhile, Natasha and Roxy decide to kill Karan by using the disguise of Preeta and Rishabh.
Karan waits for Preeta in a Jungle and then Natasha arrives there with Roxy.
Rishabh and Preeta leave in a Car to meet Karan but they fail to see Prithvi in the parking area.
Prithvi comes following them to the place where Karan is waiting for Preeta.
Natasha and Roxy, disguised as Preeta and Rishabh, push Karan off the dam. Karan is hurt to see this and assumes that Rishabh and Preeta are actually having an affair. He hangs on to a log and keeps asking both of them why they are doing this to him.
Preeta and Rishabh fail to save Karan as he falls into the river that is the habitat to a Crocodile.
Prithvi flees after telling the Police that Natasha and Roxy have done this to Karan!
They both return home to pack their bags and tell Sherlyn how Prithvi foiled their plan.
The Police take the Luthras to the hospital morgue to identify a corpse. They are shocked to see Karan’s belongings next to the corpse. Despite the warnings of the Police Inspector, Preeta checks the face and is terrified to see it damaged.
After the last rites and the mourning period of 12 days, the Luthras observe a remembrance ceremony.
After a month, Sameer finds a video of Karan that shocks the Luthras.
Everyone sits together to watch the video to cope up with the pain of losing him forever. Karan’s words in the video for each member get them to burst into tears.
Suddenly, Preeta loses consciousness and the family calls a Doctor for check-up. They all are overjoyed to learn from the Doctor that Preeta is pregnant. Everyone in the family including Kritika, Kareena and Dadi are amazed to receive the good news.
