On the way, Natasha pretends to convince Karan to patch up with Preeta. Karan gets upset with Natasha but soon apologises to her for this.
At the Luthra Mansion, Preeta tells Sameer and Srishti that Rishabh is in jail. She tells them how she saw Rishabh in a Police cell, which does not look like of an Indian jail. Srishti supports Sameer when he loses his cool and decides to thrash Prithvi!
Preeta stops Sameer from overreacting and tells Srishti why she wants them both to control their emotions. She suggests that they all need to come up with a plan to get Rishabh’s whereabouts at the earliest. They then pretend that the house is on fire and get the family to vacate the house immediately.
After an argument, Sameer and Srishti sneak into the house again to get the CD.
Meanwhile, Preeta accuses Kritika of deliberately ablazing the house on fire along with Prithvi and Sherlyn to bother her!
To distract the Luthras, Preeta accuses Kritika of setting the house ablaze with Prithvi and Sherlyn’s help. Prithvi says that Preeta is deliberately accusing him of all this as it is her habit.
Suddenly, an intoxicated Karan arrives there with Natasha. He presumes that Preeta has ousted the Luthras from the house and questions her about it. He lashes out at Preeta, who reminds him of his behaviour and clears the misunderstanding.
Kritika and other family members tell Karan that Preeta has not ousted them from the house. Karan, however, accuses Preeta of being the reason behind this fire!
Meanwhile, Sameer goes to the bathroom of Prithvi’s room and finds the CD there. He calls Preeta to inform her about this and Preeta tells everyone that he has managed to control the fire.
Preeta, Srishti and Sameer feel shattered to see Rishabh in a Dubai police cell for the charge of drug peddling.
Karan receives a phone call and lashes out at the Caller for asking if he is divorcing Preeta?
In no time, Preeta enters the room and tries to reason with him about overdrinking. Karan lashes out at her and says that he wants to leave her.
The next day, Preeta suggests Srishti and Sameer a plan to get Sherlyn to confess about Prithvi’s plan to bail Rishabh out.
Suddenly, Rakhi begins to scream after reading the newspaper. She confronts Karan, Preeta and Natasha about their relationships with each other. She lashes out at Karan after reading the news of his and Preeta’s divorce. She lists out the mistakes of Preeta, Sherlyn, Kareena and Dadi and bursts into tears. She misses Rishabh’s support after this.
Preeta confronts Karan about his decision to divorce her. Karan says that he is not interested in divorcing her and the news is not real. Preeta gets annoyed and reveals that she cannot tolerate such a news because she is his Wife.
Natasha happily tells Prithvi and Sherlyn that she has managed to spread the news.
Suddenly, Preeta arrives there and asks Sameer not to focus on this news as it is not true. After Preeta leaves, Srishti warns Natasha that her ploy can go against her which will bring Karan and Preeta together.!
Sherlyn blames Prithvi for Natasha being able to overpower them!
Preeta avoids dealing with Natasha and asks Sameer and Srishti to help her focus on bringing Rishabh home.
Karan plans to call a Press Conference to clear the air.
Natasha plans to use Karan’s Press Conference to her advantage. She calls Karan before he leaves for the Press Conference but tries to call Natasha.
However, someone abducts Natasha in the middle of their conversation. She later calls Karan to the place where she has been taken.
