Saturday Update on This is fate S5, 9th December, 2023

Rishab says she is lying in the first sentence so how can they expect her to say the truth, Rishab informs the Judge that he doesn’t drink tea in the night and it is wrong, the Judge explains that everyone would be given time to prove their innocence so he asks Anjali to continue, she mentions when the maid brought tea they both were in the study room where he drank some alcohol.

Rishab says she insisted that he have a drink. The Judge once again asks him to not interfere, Anjali explains Rishab then tried to misbehave with her and molested her. The Judge instructs her to sit back, Mr Malkhani explains they have the proof as Rishab is seen leaving the house while trying to close his buttons, he presents the video proof to the Judge.

The Judge sees the video where Rishab leaves, Mr Malkhani explains when Rishab thought he would not be able to succeed so he decided to turn back and leave, Rishab not being able to control himself explains he did not even touch her as he is not that kind of a person, Mr Malkhani explains the video never lies, Damini mentions that the story behind the video might be false.

Mr Malkhani then explains he even has the photos to prove the injuries which Anjali suffered, Mr Malkhani explains that Rishab was not like that before and had a good reputation but Rishab hates Arjun and so tried to harm Anjali who works for him, Mr Malkhani explains Preeta even offered Anjali a job.

Preeta informs she did not offer her any job but instead suggested that Anjali should change the job if she is not happy with her current boss, the Judge asks her to sit down as she is not in the witness box. Preeta blames Anjali for lying when the judge explains that it can be proven from the video and proofs that Rishab is guilty.

Arjun explains that Rishab is no guilty and innocent, everyone is shocked to see him when Anjali even calls him so Arjun walking to the witness box assures, he will speak the truth, he mentions they are trying to make a joke of this court as Preeta has been trying to tell the truth for a long time.

The people start talking when he explains they should let him finish as neither is he so wrong, Preeta is telling the truth that Rishab is innocent because he has never tried to harm Anjali because he is a very nice person so can never think of harming women but the only person lying is Anjali, she stands up asking what is he saying but the Judge instructs her to sit down.

Arjun assures that Anjali is lying while Rishab is innocent as he did not try to misbehave with Anjali. Arjun says Preeta was trying to prove his innocence but he has proved it, coming back to the topic he explains Anjali is lying because he had asked her to lie and she placed the camera’s there on his orders, it was all a plan which he instructed her so Rishab is innocent, he apologizes for his mistake explaining he is awake now and knows why Anjali did it all to Preeta and Rishab because she desired revenge when they had filed a restraining order against him so he doesn’t meet Kavya when he only protect kavya in the terrorist attack.

Arjun apologizes to the court; the judge explains that Arjun made a very big mistake and so Rishab is going to be released without any charges but case will be filed against Arjun and Anjali for ruining the time of the court.

The entire Luthra family hugs Rishab who has been freed, Arjun angrily walks past Preeta towards the door but he turns back to see Preeta, with immense anger filled in him. Preeta is not able to comprehend the feelings as Arjun leaves.

Arjun enters the house wondering where Anjali is when she left the court for the house, he sees her coming with a bag so asks what is she doing. Priyanka explains she did not utter even a single word ever since she came back, Dadi also explains that she did not say anything.

Anjali stops Arjun from saying anything questioning why he not let her do anything, he tries to console her but she says he promised to stand beside her in each and every matter but he backed out so she cannot live ere as there is no point, Anjali explains she is leaving not only this house but his life forever.

Garesh opens the door, Rakhi instructs him to brings the platter while Rishab must stand here, Dadi mentions the rituals must be fulfilled. Kareena explains even she doesn’t believe in these things, but he should let the older people do it, Dadi gets angry mentioning she likes whenever Rakhi performs these rituals, Shristhi also agrees explaining they must fulfill these rituals when everything good is happening.

Rakhi asks Preeta to stand beside Rishab when she blesses them so they sit down, Sameer doesnot understand what happened at the court.

Kritika mentions sometimes they must forget whatever happens but must accept the decisions. Rakhi asks what they are talking about, Sameer replies he did not understand the agenda behind Arjun.

Anjali explains that Arjun has lost the right to question him, and she feels it is time for her to leave so she is going, Arjun explains he knows her intention was pure but he always fights his own battles.

Preeta explains she also met Arjun outside the court when he was eager to get Rishab jailed but then he came to take the entire blame and even questioned Anjali due to which they both would now face the court. Rakhi explains they all are talking about Arjun and his intentions when she can reveal the reason, he did everything, Preeta is tensed.

Arjun mentions he can fight his own war then what was the need to do it all, Anjali replies she knows he can fight each and every war except that of Preeta as he is constantly thinking about her, Arjun mentions he only sided Rishab because of Preeta but he did it for himself, Anjali knows he tends to fight from the front so would do it by his own methods and win the war in the pattern that they choose. Anjali exclaims she knows he is bad which is why she likes him; Anjali hugs him explaining that she would always stand by his side.

Rishab and Mahesh, both ask her what the reason is, Rakhi explains she met him outside the court and requested him to take back the case, he agreed to it. Preeta and Rishab both ask why she met him, Rakhi angrily warns them both to stop this hatred as relations only prosper with love, she knows he tends to do things by mistake just like Karan, but it never meant that he wanted to harm anyone.

Rakhi asks them to try and understand because she feels Arjun is not that bad a person because he took the entire blame on himself, they all know that it was impossible to free Rishab from all the charges filed against him. Arjun used the only method they had to end the hearing. Rakhi asks who in the modern times stands with the truth, she says she wants him to forget everything as she feels he is not a bad person, she felt Arjun would be the younger brother to Rishab as she only has him to worry for, what is the need for this hatred and fights, so can they not give him another chance.

Rakhi advises them to let go of this fight because the life is small to always fight. Sameer replies he agrees Arjun came to the court, but he also tried to take the life of Rishab brother, Rakhi questions when she said he is Bhagwan, but they can also forgive him for everything, as even he deserves a second chance. Rakhi asks if they both cannot forgive him for his behavior.

Dadi asks Rakhi how they would do it when he has harmed the entire Luthra family, Karina agrees with Dadi explaining even if Arjun came to take the blame, then how can they all forgive him.

Rakhi explains it is a very big thing when one realizes his mistake and apologizes, she says that he is not an outsider, and they all meet him again and again, Rishab exclaims it is not that and walking to Rakhi explains she is the mother and if she wants him to meet Arjun then he would go as he can do everything for his family. Rishab informs Preeta he is going to meet Arjun, she exclaims even she would come with him.

Arjun is continuously drinking in the room thinking about when Preeta filed the restraining order against him and she vowed to fight against Arjun and help free Rishab jee, Arjun also thinks when Rakhi slapped him. The worker comes informing Arjun that Rishab Luthra wants to meet him, he replies he doesnot want to meet Rishab who can go to hell, the worker replies even Preeta mam was saying the same that he will not meet Rishab, Arjun asks him if Preeta also came then agrees to meet them.

Arjun walks out with the alcohol bottle in his hand, he is shocked to see Rishab and Preeta thinking how she blamed him for using Anjali to get back at them. Arjun asks what they want, Rishab explains that he came here on his mother’s suggestion who told him that Arjun gave that confession on her request, she wants them to end all the differences and behave like civilized people because he is a nice person.

Rishabh explains his mother feels Arjun is like Karan because even he would not want to harm anyone but caused it, Arjun replies he always does everything for himself, pointing to Preeta he says she said he uses women to fight his wars and is a bad person, she said she is glad that he was ousted from the lives of the Luthra’s and she is glad, Rishab seeing his advances stop Arjun who explains the reason he gave the confession was because of Preeta, he does everything for her.

Arjun exclaims what is the need to be shocked when Preeta mentioned she would oust him from the lives of Luthra’s and kavya. Arjun mentions he broke Rishab out of the jail so he can live with Preeta because if he was not with her and he broke all the promises which she made, so they would say he defeated a woman when the game should be of equality.

Arjun exclaims that he will not stab them as they did and not let the innocence of Karan turned into foolishness while taking the revenge for each and every thing, Rishab questions what he is saying because he came here to sort out everything, but Arjun is insisting on taking revenge, Rishab informs they do not understand what mistake they have made.

Arjun angrily exclaims he would take the revenge of Karan, Rishab gets furious replying he came here to end all the differences because his mother instructed him to but Arjun is instead dragging his brother, Rishab warns Arjun to not go on that path.

Rakhi gives Mahesh his night dress, he is stopping her asks if she wants Rishab and Arjun to become friends, does she not think he is a really wired.

Rakhi replies she feels they have mistaken him because he sometimes takes decisions in anger and when someone tries to explain everything peacefully he understands it all, they saw that Arjun took the blame because he realized his mistake, Mahesh replies he is worried for her as Arjun is really bad and she is showering love for him.

Rishab asks what is he saying, Arjun exclaims he would give them time to prepare but if Rishab backs out then he would understand and reveal the truth about their marriage in front of everyone while then marrying Preeta. Rishab getting furious slaps Arjun warning him to not even take the name of Preeta from his mouth, Dadi and Anjali also come out in shock, Preeta is really tensed.

Arjun warns Rishab it is enough, he is saved every time only because of his destiny but this time they would have to pay for what they did to Karan, Rishab asks if he has lost his mind, he exclaims that Arjun should not even think of saying another word against Preeta or his brother, Anjali asks Arjun to come inside while Preeta also tries to leave with Rishab.

Arjun warns that in the coming seven days everything is going to change including his relation with her and even the world because he will marry her in the seven days, Rishab takes Arjun by the collar, who threatens to take each and every thing which Rishab hold dear.

Mahesh explains Arjun is a fire ball but she just keeps loving him, Rakhi replies it is not like that as she scolds him when she feels like it but today she tried to convince him, even if they all do not accept anything she knows he loves her like a mother and she has the same feelings for him.

Preeta exclaims she told Rishab that there is no point in talking with him as he is a mad and idiotic person, Arjun exclaims he would surely marry her. Rishab informs they should tell him when he wakes up that he made a big mistake and it is not worthy to be forgiven.

Garesh opens the door, Preeta angrily starts walking inside, Rishab asks where mom is, Garesh replies she went to sleep. Rishab seeing Preeta walking thinks of how Arjun vowed to marry her in the next seven days and even ruin everything of Rishab.

Anjali asks Dadi to go and rest since now he can sleep, she recalls when Arjun said that in the next seven days everything would change, she forces him to wake up when Arjun asks what happened, she questions why did he talk about Karan in front of Rishab.

Arjun once again falls asleep, which makes Anjali furious so she bringing the jug filled with water throws it on him, he exclaims what the hell when she asks he should tell her if he is fine or not. Arjun asks her to not throw any more water.
